Abstract

Islamic boarding school scholars with the treasures of books they gave birth to, are a valuable legacy in their role in building a society based on awareness of multicultural values. This study uses qualitative research methods and library research types that collect all information through the literature on the educational values ​​of KH. Faqih Maskumambang and KH. Hasyim Asy'ari. Islamic teachings already contain the values ​​of multicultural education. Islamic teachings not only teach about religious procedures and worship guidelines. He teaches how to be religious by worshiping God and socializing with fellow human beings. There are five values ​​of multicultural education implemented by KH. Faqih Maskumambang and KH. Hasyim Asy'ari. among others: 1) Living in Difference; 2) Mutual Trust; 3) Mutual Understanding; 4) Mutual Respect; 5) Open in Thinking.

Abstract

The role of parents is one of the important factors in instilling Islamic education in children. Giving Islamic education to children in families who share the same religion is a common thing to do. However, it is different if the family that becomes the child's first education is a family of different religions. The method in this study uses a case study approach. The type of research used is qualitative research. The data of this research were obtained by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Furthermore, the data is analyzed and checked for validity using triangulation of sources, techniques and time. This research was conducted in Kayukebek Village, Tutur District, where in the village there are families of different religions. The results of this study include: The role of parents in instilling Islamic education in children in interfaith families, namely as educators, being an example or role model for children, providing motivation, being a supervisor, and providing facilities.

Abstract

General Education is considered to have not been able to equip its graduates to avoid immoral behavior. The importance of the internalization of values ​​in an education. Islamic boarding schools are one of the educational institutions that are able to internalize the values ​​of Islamic teachings as provisions in the formation of the nation's personality. The younger generation who have superior personalities can avoid immoral behavior. The phenomenological approach in this study is aimed at portraying the existence of disruption as a phenomenon associated with Islamic boarding schools, from the point of view of thoughts, perceptions, and beliefs attached to the subject. Through reflective logic, the empirical evidence of Islamic boarding schools is abstracted rationally in the logic of induction and described in a systemic-comprehensive manner in the logic of deduction. Steps to renew pesantren can be done by granting formal legality in the form of diplomas, adjusting the curriculum by adding compulsory subjects, and expertise training programs. Islamic boarding schools as a miniature of society have a role in creating the unity and stability of community harmony. Islam Nusantara as a product of Islamic boarding schools has been able to stem the disruption of Islamic religious traditions. The concept of Tabarukkan and simplicity in Islamic boarding schools can produce young generations who are resilient in dealing with difficult problems in the era of disruption.

Abstract

This research begins with phenomena that appear to be related to the internalization of multicultural values found in the Pondok Sunan Kalijogo Jabung environment. As it is known that the Sunan Kalijogo Jabung Islamic Boarding School has been committed to upholding the values of Sufism education, and has been used as the basis for the behavior of the pesantren. The approach in this study uses a qualitative approach to the type of phenomenological research. This research data collection uses three techniques, namely: (1) in-depth interviews (in-depth interviews); (2) participant observation (participant observation); and (3) study document (study document). For data analysis using descriptive techniques whose application is carried out in three activity lines, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The data checking technique used in this research is triangulation technique. The multicultural values ​​applied in Sufism education at the Sunan Kalijogo Jabung Islamic Boarding School are the values ​​of tolerance, values ​​of democracy/freedom, values ​​of equality/equality, and values ​​of justice.

Abstract

Education is one of the efforts to improve human resources and human dignity. With education is expected to be a long-term strategic program to answer the needs of the nation. One of the books that play an important role in the educational process is textbooks or textbooks. Thus, teaching materials must have criteria set by the government. However, what happens is that there are still many textbooks that are not in accordance with the content standards, such as textbooks that lack material, themes and content that have the potential to cause racial issues, extremism and radicalism, or questions that are still not in accordance with the description of the material. too few and too many questions, ineffective use of language and incompatibility between KI and KD and their content. This research is a kind of qualitative, liberal research approach. Sources of data: 1) primary data, books on the morals of Madrasah Aliyah class II, 2) secondary data, books, articles, journals. In the process of collecting data this research uses a literature review. In data analysis using content analysis. The results of the study are the values ​​of multicultural education in the book of Akidah Akhlak Madrasah Aliyah Class XII. In the analysis stage the values ​​of multicultural education produce, 1) the value of tolerance (tasamuh), 2) the moderate value (tawasuth), 3) the value of humanity (humanism), 4) the value of equality (musawa), 5) the value of justice, 6) the value of justice. inclusiveness, 7) the value of nationalism, 8) the value of mutual assistance (ta'awun).

Abstract

Public Relations Management can be described as a form of process of directing and giving an influence to the activities contained in a group of members and whose duties and functions are interrelated. In this study, researchers used qualitative case study research to collect research data using interviews and literacy studies according to the research title, and in data analysis using descriptive techniques As a leader, you can not only order your co-workers what to do, but also influence your subordinates and carry out some of their orders. As for supervision in public relations management, namely the socialization of the vision and mission at the Islamic Institute of Sunan Kalijogo Jabung Malang, then carrying out optimal monitoring activities and requiring data or information related to public relations management. Abstract

Culture is an activity that is built on creativity, a sense of initiative. Culture is able to survive because it is accepted by society and is useful. The island of Java which originally had the Kapitayan culture known as supernatural powers. Wonosunyo Village, Gempol District, Pasuruan Regency has a culture. This culture is called the ritual culture of the sacred bathing water of Candi Belahan. The ritual culture of bathing in the holy water of life at Candi Belahan is an activity carried out with various purposes and objectives. Some are aimed at treating medical or non-medical illnesses, some are aimed at increasing knowledge of kanuragan, some are aimed at maintaining the condition of the body to stay young and some are aimed at gratitude for the blessings that have been received and all these goals are addressed to Allah SWT as the ruler. natural. The culture must have undergone a process of cultural assimilation. This happened because in the past the Candi Belahan area was an area where the Kapitayan culture was able to shift to an Islamic culture that unites Allah SWT. The focus of this research includes: what are the values of multikultural Islamic education in the ritual culture of the sacred bathing water of Belahan Temple. The method in this study uses a phenomenological approach. The data of this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Data were collected by interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques include 1) making a list, 2) initial grouping of data, 3) reduction and, 4) data elimination. The results of this study found: The values of multikultural Islamic education in the ritual culture of the sacred bathing water of Candi Belahan are the values of aqidah (religion), shari'ah (mutual respect, human rights and obligations), morals (al-akhlak al- fardiyah, al-akhlak al-ijtimaiyah, and al-akhlak al-diniyah).

Abstract

Pondok Mburi Wong Bodho is a rehabilitation cottage and also accommodates all people who experience problems in their lives, Gus Khoiri is the caretaker of Pondok Mburi Wong Bodho who directly guides the students with advice and activities which encourage goodness. The principle that is built in the cottage is "Golek Oh Pengweaan" the students are required to look for activities that are useful for themselves in this case the students are always given direct direction by Gus Khoiri with direct guidance so the students will slowly find the character in him each. The research used in this study is qualitative, the design used is phenomenology, the techniques applied are field notes, interview transcripts , and documentation and empirical data that have been obtained, in carrying out data techniques the researchers took data by observation, interviews and also documentation about Pondok Mburi wong Bodho. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the process of internalizing the value of tasamuh in character building through daily activities, the results of the formulation: weekly activities and annual activities, in carrying out the approach the caregiver uses an approach by understanding the nature, character and character of students, the results of the formulation. The values formed include the value of sincerity, the value of mutual respect, the value of mutual cooperation, the value of honesty, the value of togetherness and the value of mutual respect for differences.

Abstract

Ta’aruf means “to get acquainted” or “to know each other”. It comes from the Arabic word “ta’aarafa”. Knowing this is not just limited to knowing the name. In Islam, ta’aruf is a process of getting to know someone closely, both Muslims and non-Muslims. In the context of marriage, ta’aruf is an attempt to recognize a life partner before marriage. The author chooses the method of literature research. Therefore, the technique used in data collection is the collection of literal data, namely: library materials that are coherent with the object of discussion in question. The right data collection technique in library research is to collect books, papers, articles, magazines, journals, and so on. This step is usually known as the documentation method. The concept of Ta’aruf in the perspective of multicultural education in the interpretation of Ibn Katsir’s Tafsir in sura al-Hujurat verse 13, i.e. ta’aruf in the concept of the Qur’an is not as simple as what is understood today. Ta’aruf itself is not only interpreted as a process of introduction that is synonymous with marriage. Ta’aruf is interpreted as a suggestion to get to know each other between fellow human beings, not limited to Muslims or other non-Muslims. The process of ta’aruf offered by the Qur’an bridges the occurrence of good interactions and the establishment of a harmonious relationship and heterogeneity (diversity).

Abstract

Ruwatan is a cultural tradition left by ancestors since ancient times. This tradition has been preserved from generation to generation by its supporters with various motivations and goals that cannot be separated from the life view of the Javanese people in general. Tradition and culture have become flesh and blood in people's bodies wherever they are. So that when tradition and culture collaborate with a religion, finally the religious teachings themselves appear as things that are ingrained in a community. From the results of the research, the ruwatan process in the genting village was carried out by reading Yasin's letter which in certain verses was read several times. Ruwat In Junggo Hamlet, using letters that are read are letters at-taubah and additional special prayers. In the traditional Ruwat ceremony, Surat Yasin is also one of the most frequently read letters.
