Abstract

Moderate Islam maust be the main feature of everi Islamic boarding school. History proves that the showing of moderate teaching in religion is in Islamic boarding School. Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational institutions that the kiai as the central figure. The quality of the pesantren is determined by the kiai as the leader of the Islamic boarding school who drives all activities in it. Islamic boarding schools will give birth to qualified santri graduates if the management of the kiai's leadership is carried out properly. Through a literature study using a qualitative approach, this research focuses on the concept of kiai leadership, kiai management in Islamic boarding schools, and analysis of kiai leadership management in efforts to improve the quality of Islamic boarding schools based on moderate Islam. The results of the study found that kiai leadership is the ability of a kiai to organize and manage the pesantren educational institution he leads and has the highest role in it. The function of kiai management in Islamic boarding schools as an effort to improve the quality of Islamic boarding schools includes planning carried out with the leaders of educational units and administrators of Islamic boarding schools, organizing by delegating tasks according to their expertise, actuating with the assistance of pesantren stakeholders, and controlling in an effort to improve if there are problems in the program that has been implemented according to the previous plan.Keywords: Management; Kiai leadership; Islamic boarding school quality, Moderate Islam

Abstract

Education is a very strategic medium for socialization as well as transforming the values and norms that apply in people's lives, both social, cultural and religious. The educational process is actually relatively easy to organize, for example within the family sphere, where parents become educators for their children. This research focuses on exploring how the concept of gender equality education in Islam is a KH perspective. Husein Muhammad and how to provide gender equality education in Islam KH Perspective. Hussein Muhammad. This research is a library research ( Library Research), by discussing how the concept of gender equality education in Islam is from the perspective of KH. Hussein Muhammad. Data collection is carried out by reading, recording, studying and analyzing books, scientific journals, scientific research and other scientific writings. Data analysis is carried out by interpreting or interpreting the data obtained (Descriptive Analytics). In checking the validity of the data findings, researchers use the triangulation method. The results of this study show that, 1) According to KH Hussein Muhammad, Islamic education must use an emancipatory paradigm so that the educational process is more democratic and egalitarian. Islamic education must use the feminist paradigm to build awareness of oppression. People's education as an open educational process and providing equal opportunities for the community must provide a meter that contains the values of gender equality. The development of a gender equality perspective towards pesantren families is very necessary to be carried out so that the learning process and learning curriculum contain the values of gender equality. 2) KH Husein Muhammad organized gender equality education through non-formal education channels, namely in the organizations he founded and cared for, but over time he also organized formal gender equality education, namely through the Fahmina Institute of Islamic Studies (ISIF).

Abstract

Yudharta Pasuruan University is one of the institutions of higher education in which there are not only students or lecturers who are Muslim, but there are also some Christians and Catholics. So that there is a need for Reinforcement of Islamic Education in Students Through Multicultural Activities Program.This study uses qualitative methods with phenomenology techniques and the data collection technique was done with three techniques, namely interview, observation and documentation. The types and sources of data in this research are: 1) Primary data and 2) Secondary data. The data analysis technique used by researchers is to use three data acquisition procedures, namely: 1. Data Reduction (Data Reduction). 2. Data Presentation/ Display. 3. Data Verification. Validity is done by triangulation of sources and techniques.The results of this study include: 1. Multicultural activities: Psychology Student Association of the University of Yudharta Pasuruan (Himapsi UYP) holding Psychofun Education, Head of Postgraduate UYP, Filling in Speech at the 2021 Christmas and New Year Celebration, Yudharta Held Coffee with Defending the Country, Program Students Arabic Studies Conducted Field Studies at GKJW Pandaan.2. The process of verbal reinforcement through multicultural activities and non-verbally through the building of the 4-pillar monument, the four pillars of the University of Yudharta Pasuruan, namely Pancasila, the UUD 1945,NKRI, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika and the inscription of the world community's peace pledge. 3. The impact of Islamic Education Reinforcement on students through Multicultural activities at the University of Yudharta Pasuruan makes students have an attitude of tolerance, an attitude of cooperation, and an attitude of social care.

Abstract

Islam is a religion that teaches its people to be able to live the life of the world and the hereafter well. Therefore, Islam provides the best way so that its people can achieve it. Islam also teaches it very universally. As explained in the Qur'an very clear and clearly. The Qur'an has also regulated everything, including the issue of educating children. This study intends to examine how Muhammad Rasyid Rida's opinion on the verses about parenting, and how the interpretation of the verses about parenting in the interpretation of Al-Manar. The purpose of this research is to determine Muhammad Rasyid Rida's opinion and interpretation of the verses about parenting in his interpretations entitled Tafsir Al-Manar. The approach used by the researchers in this study is a qualitative approach that is descriptive-analytical. The first step is to collect verses of the Qur'an related to parenting, then these verses are interpreted using a book of interpretation written by Muhammad Rasyid Ridha entitled Tafsir Al-Manar, then analyzes the interpretation of Muhammad Rasyid Rida in his interpretation book, then the author concludes into several sentences. From the results of this study indicate that the methodology of interpretation used by Muhammad Rasyid Rida is the tahlili method, where in interpreting the verses of the Qur'an, Rashid Rida used the interpretation of the Qur'an with the Qur'an, with the Prophet’s hadits, the opinions of the companions and tabi’in. Muhammad Rasyid Rida argues that both parents must agree in educating their children by giving freedom and independence of mind and understanding in science and freedom of will in the practice, so that parents will get the child to be able to manage their own affairs and choose what they think is good for themself and his community.

Abstract

The principle of freedom in Islamic Education, especially freedom of culture in religion, is still considered very sacred and even very exclusive, but it is different if the culture in religion is in the Ngalah Islamic boarding school, culture in religion is only a symbol and does not affect one's beliefs, as is the case for non-Muslims entering the mosque. using kopyah, greeting Muslims and so on, even though this culture is Muslim culture, for non-Muslims not the slightest bit their beliefs will shift or change religions.The method in this study used descriptive qualitative methods, with data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, moderate participant observation and documentation while the data analysis technique in the early stages of data display, the second stage of data reduction and the third stage of drawing conclusions.The existence of Islamic boarding schools, mosques, Pancasila halls and print media is only a cultural symbol or a mediation of interfaith education and is not a sacred or exclusive place, because the knowledge of Allah SWT is not limited, but all knowledge must be developed and practiced in the Islamic boarding school, because of this mediation. has become part of the system in the Ngalah Pasuruan Islamic boarding school, because the Islamic boarding school education system is a means in the form of an organizational device created to achieve educational goals that take place in the Ngalah Islamic boarding school, Purwosari Pasuruan.

Abstract

In the Ngalah Islamic Boarding School education, reinforcement is needed to achieve the goals of education. The focus of the research taken is 1) how is the verbal reinforcement of multicultural education on students at the Ngalah Islamic Boarding School?. 2) how is the non-verbal reinforcement of multicultural education for students at the Ngalah Islamic Boarding School?. The results showed that the verbal reinforcement of multicultural education at the Ngalah Islamic Boarding School was carried out in three ways. The first is through the reinforcement carried out by the caregiver at the recitation led by the nanny. Second, the reinforcement carried out by the Management or Ustadz during student activities. Third, through the work of Islamic Boarding Schools which contains about multiculturalism. While the non-verbal reinforcement of multicultural education is carried out in five ways, namely, first, through the naming of existing buildings in the Ngalah Islamic Boarding School area. Second, the design of buildings and objects there uses a typical Nusantara design. Third, through inter-religious meetings organized by the Ngalah Islamic Boarding School. The four clothes used by caregivers or administrators use typical Indonesian cultural clothing. Fifth, through symbols or cover images of books by Islamic boarding schools that use images of Nusantara culture.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the background of Sa'id Hawwa's framework of thinking in building a theory of unification of Al-Qur'an themes in the reading of Al-Qur'an verses. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. While the primary sources used are Tafsir books and writings from Sa'id Hawwa, secondary data sources are used to sharpen the analysis related to Sa'id Hawwa's framework of thought.The results of the research show that this idea is based on several general principles, namely: [a] dividing the anatomy of the Qur'an into qism al-t{iwa>l, qism al-mi`i>n, qism al-matha>ni> , and qism al-mufas}s}al, [b] dividing the surahs of the Qur'an into several smaller units, [c] positioning al-Fatihah as an introduction to the Qur'an, [d] positioning the surah al-Baqarah as the body that explains the universality of al-Fatihah, as well as the mih}war for the surahs that follow it, and [e] positions the surahs after al-Baqarah as explanatory details of the meaning of the mih}wa>r verse and the imtida>d verse in al-Baqarah.

Abstract

The teaching learning process becomes effective when the teacher knows how to use the right approach. In the learning process, students should be encouraged to be able to think critically and can apply knowledge that has been acquired in the classroom and then be replicated in real life. Therefore, the existence of the right learning strategies can help teachers guide and enhance students’ critical thinking skills. One way to be able to develop critical thinking skills of learners by focusing on contextual teaching and learning. (CTL). This is a quantitative research method. Data collection methods use lifting, testing, observation and documentation. The population in this study was XI class pupils with random sampling. The data in this study was analyzed using a simple linear regression analysis method using the help of SPSS. The results of the study were obtained, first there is an influence between the learning strategy Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) on the critical thinking ability of students in the learning of Islamic Religious Education Class XI in SMA Negeri Tamanan Bondowoso. This, based on the test of the hypothesis using the simple linear regression test with the obtained value of Fcount of 15.127 with the significance level of 0,000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Second, there is a significant influence of the Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) learning strategy on the critical thinking ability of students, it is based on a hypothetical test using a simple linear regression test with a significant value of 0,000 < 0.05 and tcount value of 3.889 > ttable of 2.024, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

Teachers are considered as planners, as well as moderators of ongoing teaching and learning process activities, teachers are also responsible for motivating their students so they can carry out their learning tasks well. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of Social Competence (X1) and Teacher Personality (X2) on Students' Moderate Attitudes (Y). The research method used in this research is quantitative research. This research uses a causal associative method. The type of instrument used in this research is a non-test instrument with a closed questionnaire. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique in this research uses multiple linear regression. There is a significant influence of the variables Social Competence (X1) and Teacher Personality (X2) simultaneously on Students' Moderate Attitudes (Y1) at MI AL Huda Gempolsari Tanggulangin Sidoarjo. The influence of the Teacher's Social Competence (X1) and Personality (X2) simultaneously on the Student's Moderate Attitude (Y) based on the f test results obtained calculated F value > F table (9.857> 3.32) with significance smaller than 0.05 (0.001 < 0.05)

Abstract

Multicultural education emerged as part of a response to the phenomenon of ethnic, social and cultural conflict which often arises in multicultural societies. Multiculturalism is an understanding of the acceptance of pluralism in society so as to avoid horizontal conflict in society. The design of multicultural education in the book written by Kasinyo Harto entitled Multicultural-Based Islamic Religious Education Development Model emphasizes the cultivation of a method of living that is respectful, sincere and tolerant of cultural diversity that lives in the midst of a pluralistic society. This research uses a type of library research. The source of research data is Kasinyo Harto's book entitled Multicultural-Based Islamic Religious Education Development Model. The data collection technique was carried out using documentation techniques and descriptive analysis was chosen to describe and analyze the data obtained simultaneously. Multiculturalism in Islamic Religious Education in schools is teaching the Islamic religion to students openly and dialogically so that all students have the same opportunities and do not discredit other religions that are not the same as the religion of the religious teacher.
