Abstract

The Maternal Mortality Rate is still found to be high in Bandar Lampung City with 19 maternal deaths throughout 2016. This city has the highest ranking of MMR cases out of 15 cities/districts in Lampung Province on Maternal Mortality Rates for Pregnant Women. Teluk Betung Selatan District has a history of fluctuating MMR (KIA Bakung Health Center) and the Rawat Bakung Health Center was chosen because every year there are maternal deaths. The high MMR in Bandar Lampung City is due to the long decision-making to refer from the screening results obtained during the delivery process. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with a screening at the start of labor in the City of Bandar Lampung in 2017. The design of this study was an analytic survey using a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study was midwives in the Working Area of the Bakung Health Center. The number of samples is the total population of 45 people. Questionnaire as an instrument and analysis of frequency distribution data using chi-square and logistic regression. The results of the study obtained a p-value of 0.000, so there was a significant relationship between age, education, length of work, APN training, and the implementation of early delivery screening at BPM Bandar Lampung City. Abstract

Coffee drinking habits exist in Indonesian culture. Coffee as the primary source of caffeine is here the effect of embryotoxicity on paralysis, wrong brain. The brain is going on so that the body is a curiosity. Fibronectin and shroom proteins play in the primary stacking cage, which is the seasoning of the nerve roof. This study aimed to predict molecular inhibition of compounds in coffee in fibronectin protein and shroom protein in silica. The research method used samples of ligands and target proteins from the PubChem database and protein databank, then analyzed using PyRx, Discovery Studio, and PyMol software. The results of the study of literature there are five compounds in coffee. As a result of molecular docking simulation analysis, caffeine compounds (CID 2519) had lower total binding energy (-9.9 kcal/mol) in other combinations in fibronectin and shroom proteins. There are six residues of the amino acid fibronectin and 5 in shroom with caffeine. There are chemical bonds provided for caffeine compounds consisting of hydrophobic, alkyl, Van der Waals, and electrostatic. Caffeine can inhibit fibronectin and shroom protein activity and in vitro and in vivo tests to validate bioinformatics results.

Abstract

The existence of a gap between generations is an issue that needs special handling considering the importance of values transformation from the older generation to the younger generation so that healthy relationships between generations are established. The development of an intergenerational program for Elderly-adolescents is one of the interventions to improve the harmonization relationship between the elderly and adolescents. This study aimed to determine the effect of intergenerational programs in increasing the knowledge, attitudes, and social interactions of adolescents. The research design used a quasi-experimental control group design with 68 elderly people in North Bogor Sub-Districts and West Bogor Sub-Districts, Bogor City. Data analysis used T-Test, Chi-Square test, and Multiple Logistics Regression. Results of the study found that there were significant differences in the knowledge, attitudes, and social interactions of adolescents before and after implementing intergenerational programs in the intervention group, while in the control group there was no difference. There was no influence of adolescent characteristics on the knowledge, attitudes, and social interactions of adolescents. This intergenerational program was proven to be able to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and social interactions of adolescents, therefore it needs to be replicated in other places, considering that this model has not been developed in Indonesia.

Abstract

The previous takakura composting model used takakura baskets covered with cloth and cardboard to produce leachate through the wastebasket process which seeped and wetted the cloth and cardboard. It was also found that the increase in the C/N ratio did not meet the requirements. Therefore an innovation was carried out in this study which aims to determine the effectiveness of making compost with the Takakura Model which uses a plastic bucket with filter media to accommodate the leachate produced so that the leachate can also be used as raw material for liquid fertilizer. The materials used are organic waste, EM4, and cow dung in the community in Way Layap Hamlet, Hajimena Village, Natar District. This research is an experiment. The independent variables in this study were 3mm, 4mm, and 5mm filter diameters for buckets, cow dung, organic waste, and EM4. The dependent variable in this study was the quality of compost (organic C, macronutrients (N+P2O5+K2O), C/N ratio, and pH for 15 days. The results obtained were compost quality (organic C 15.63%, macronutrients (N+ P2O5+) K2O) ranges from (6.71% -7.87%), C/N ratio ranges from (13.44-16.57) and pH 7-8.5 all meet standards according to SNI 7763: 2018. Leachate originating from the composting process can be used as liquid fertilizer. Future research needs to use a more varied raw material and the addition of other bio activators to speed up composting.

Abstract

Iron nutrient anemia in adolescents can harm health. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between menstrual periods and iron consumption with hemoglobin levels in young women at SMP Negeri 19 Kota Bengkulu. This study uses a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique was a purposive sampling of 44 young women. Primary data collection is obtained by measuring the hemoglobin values taken using the Easy Touch GCHb tool, menstrual time taken by questionnaire, and knowing daily iron consumption by direct interview using the Semi-FFQ form, while secondary data is obtained by name, class, age, and the total number of young women in SMP Negeri 19 Kota Bengkulu. The test used in this study is the Pearson correlation test. The results showed that the average menstrual period was 7.7 days, the average yield of iron consumption was 8.14mg/day, and the average yield on hemoglobin levels was 11.70g/dl. The test results of the relationship between menstrual periods and hemoglobin levels obtained p value=0.005 with r=-0.417 shows that the strength of a moderate and negative pattern of relationship means that the greater the duration of menstruation, the smaller the hemoglobin level, and there is a relationship between iron consumption and hemoglobin levels obtained p-value=0,000 with r=0.665 shows that the strength of a strong relationship and positive pattern means that the greater the consumption of iron, the greater the hemoglobin level. There is a relationship between the duration of menstruation and hemoglobin levels, iron consumption, and hemoglobin levels.

Abstract

Based on the results of Rikesdas 2018, the prevalence of elderly hypertension is 55.2% in the 55-64 age category, and 63.2% in the 65-74 age category. Hypertension can cause damage to the kidneys, heart, and blood vessels and can even cause death. Non-pharmacological treatment is proven to control blood pressure, so the use of drugs can be reduced. Deep breathing relaxation with zikir is expected to increase the relaxation effect so that it has an impact on lowering blood pressure. Research objective to determine the effect of deep breathing relaxation with zikir on elderly blood pressure with hypertension who take part in elderly gymnastics in Bengkulu City. The research method is quasi experiment with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design with a pretest and posttest. The sample is the elderly in Bengkulu City with 60 total samples, 30 samples from the treatment group and 30 samples from the control group, taken using a simple random sampling technique. The data was collected by using observation sheets and questionnaires. The data analysis was carried out by univariate and bivariate on the Mann-Whitney test with α 5%, and multivariate analysis using the Mancova test. The results of the Mancova test have a p-value of 0.002, meaning that there is an effect of deep breath relaxation with Zikir on the systolic and diastolic blood pressure of the elderly with hypertension. Deep breathing relaxation with zikir that is carried out regularly can be one of the nursing interventions to reduce blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension in the community.

Abstract

The regulation of Nursing Practice increasingly encourages nurses to carry out independent practice legally. 447 practitioners in mid-2021 provide health care in Lampung, but there is no data about services available. This study aims to get an overview of the health problems served by practitioners. The research was held with a descriptive design. Data was collected by internet through a consecutive sampling of the population and gaining a sample of as many as 178 respondents. They were obtained and spread over 227 sub-districts throughout Lampung Province. The data is processed through cleaning and editing stages, equating terms, and then calculating the frequency. The results showed most cases are respiratory tract disorders (infections) with 167 cases. But non-communicable health problems become dominant such as gastrointestinal disorders and hypertension. Suggestions are given to professional organizations related to problem management in interprofessional collaboration, forming clinical pathways, and planning to increase understanding and application of standard diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions with a uniform nursing language in Indonesia.
