Abstract

In the midst of the ongoing Industrial Revolution 4.0, students are increasingly surrounded by rapid technological advancements. Instead of focusing solely on rote memorization, educators are encouraged to design engaging and effective teaching strategies that incorporate technology as a learning tool. Consequently, it is crucial for modern educators particularly English teachers to seamlessly integrate suitable digital media into their classroom practices to support meaningful and enjoyable teaching and learning outcomes. This research investigates the implementation of the Cake application as a tool for enhancing high school students’ speaking abilities and examines their perceptions of the platform. Employing a mixed methods approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative data were gathered through pre- and post-questionnaires with Likert-scale items, while qualitative data were obtained from open-ended questions to explore students’ perceptions and experiences. The participants consisted of students from class XI Social I at SMAN 19 Bekasi. The findings reveal that the Cake application proved to be an effective medium for supporting speaking skill development, increasing student engagement, and fostering self-confidence in English language learning. Keyword: cake application, teaching tool, speaking skill

Abstract

This study aims to describe the interest of students in the Informatics and Computer Technology Education (PTIK) Study Program at Universitas Negeri Medan, as well as the factors that influence its increase or decline. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method with a sample of 52 active PTIK students selected through purposive convenience sampling. Data were collected using an online questionnaire via Google Forms and analyzed with descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results revealed that most students had a high initial interest in information technology and education before entering the university. However, their interest tended to decrease to a moderate level after experiencing the learning process. Factors contributing to this decline include monotonous teaching methods, heavy workloads due to the block system, limited laboratory and internet facilities, and overly theoretical course materials. On the other hand, students remain motivated to continue their studies due to promising career prospects as professional educators, opportunities in the technology industry, and the desire to specialize in specific IT fields. The most effective strategies for fostering student interest are practical learning (laboratory work), group discussions, and the use of digital technology as learning resources. These findings highlight the importance of improving learning facilities, adopting innovative teaching methods, and balancing theory with practice to sustain and enhance student interest in the PTIK study program.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental element in shaping the quality of human resources, which serves as a key determinant of national progress. In an era of globalization and digital transformation characterized by technological disruption and rapid social, political, and economic change, educational planning becomes a strategic instrument to ensure that educational objectives remain relevant, adaptive, and sustainable. This article aims to examine the concept, implementation, and development strategies of educational planning from an Islamic perspective in the digital era. The study employs a qualitative approach through a library research method, analyzing both national and international literature. The findings reveal that effective educational planning requires an integration of rational, moral and spiritual dimensions as emphasized in the Qur’an, particularly in Surah Al-Hasyr:18, which underscores the importance of visionary thinking and future-oriented planning. In the context of digital transformation, Islamic principles of accountability, justice, and social benefit can be implemented through data-based management, teacher competency enhancement, and the utilization of technology to expand access and ensure equity in education quality. Hence, integrating Islamic value into educational planning in the digital age serves as a strategic approach to addressing modern challenges while ensuring sustainable and equitable educational development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh metode pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang dikombinasikan dengan penggunaan media flash card bergambar terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPAS pada siswa kelas IV SDN 02 Pekiringanalit. Dalam desain penelitian pre-eksperimental jenis one group pretest-posttest, peneliti membandingkan nilai hasil belajar siswa sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest) menerima intervensi pembelajaran menggunakan PBL dengan flash card, sebagai pembanding dengan metode konvensional (ceramah). Teknik total sampling digunakan untuk memilih seluruh siswa sebagai subjek, dan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes hasil belajar. Data awal (pretest) menunjukkan rata-rata nilai siswa hanya 38,7 (terendah 20, tertinggi 60), namun setelah implementasi PBL dan flash card pada tahap posttest, rata-rata nilai melonjak signifikan menjadi 76,96 (terendah 70, tertinggi 100). Peningkatan drastis ini didukung oleh analisis statistik, di mana nilai sebesar 14,485 jauh melampaui (2,073) dan nilai signifikansi (0,000) berada di bawah batas 0,05. Temuan ini membuktikan secara kuat bahwa ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan, menghasilkan peningkatan hasil belajar IPAS sebesar 98,86%. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan PBL dengan flash card bergambar adalah alternatif pembelajaran yang sangat efektif dan direkomendasikan untuk digunakan oleh guru dalam upaya meningkatkan capaian hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using digital-based interactive learning media for science in increasing student interest in learning at SD Negeri Mulur 03. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with the research subjects as many as 24 grade 5 students. Data collection instruments include observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results showed that the utilization of digital-based interactive learning media can increase students' enthusiasm and participation in the learning process. Although there are obstacles such as signal limitations and teachers' ability to operate technology, the trial results show that the majority of students give a positive response to the use of digital media. Interesting and interactive learning media is proven to be able to foster interest in learning and encourage active involvement of students. This research recommends improving teachers' competence and digital infrastructure as an effort to optimize technology-based learning in primary schools.Keywords: Digital learning media, Interest to learn, Science learning, Elementary school

Abstract

Inclusive education is an educational paradigm that provides equal learning opportunities for all children, including children with special needs (ABK), in the same learning environment without discrimination. This study aims to describe the implementation of the inclusive education unit model at TKIT Darul Fikri Makassar, specifically aspects of admission policies, curriculum adjustments, teacher roles, collaboration with related parties, and challenges faced. The method used is descriptive-qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the school has implemented a structured inclusion policy with admission procedures based on initial assessments and limited quotas. The curriculum is adjusted through a differentiation model for ABK in play classes, supported by the central role of special needs teachers and the involvement of regular teachers who still need improvement. Synergy between the school, support staff, and parents provides holistic support for child development. The main obstacles include limited intervention room facilities and the understanding of regular teachers. These findings provide important recommendations for the development of quality and special needs-friendly inclusive education at the early childhood education level. With the implementation of a systematic model and integral support, TKIT Darul Fikri Makassar can become an example of effective and meaningful inclusive education.

Abstract

Educational planning is a structured process that guides and evaluates educational implementation effectively and efficiently. This study aims to analyze the integration of planning models and methods in Islamic education to improve management effectiveness in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. Using a library research method, this paper examines several educational planning models such as the comprehensive model, costing model, PPBS, and target setting, as well as analytical methods including input–output, econometric, and projection methods. The results show that integrated application of models and methods in educational planning strengthens institutional performance, resource allocation, and curriculum relevance to global challenges. Moreover, the study emphasizes that effective planning in Islamic education must combine managerial, spiritual, and technological dimensions to achieve educational excellence.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis fungsi perencanaan pendidikan dalam mendukung pengambilan keputusan di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka, dengan mengkaji berbagai teori dan hasil penelitian tentang manajemen dan perencanaan pendidikan Islam dari buku-buku dan jurnal ilmiah terkini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pendidikan berfungsi sebagai pedoman, dasar pertimbangan, dan alat pengendali dalam pengambilan keputusan yang rasional dan sistematis. Dalam lembaga pendidikan Islam, fungsi ini memiliki dimensi spiritual yang memandu setiap kebijakan agar selaras dengan nilai-nilai syura (musyawarah), adl (keadilan), amanah (tanggung jawab), dan hikmah (kebijaksanaan). Perencanaan yang mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip manajemen Islam telah terbukti memperkuat efektivitas kepemimpinan dan kualitas suatu lembaga. Oleh karena itu, setiap lembaga pendidikan Islam perlu meningkatkan kapasitas manajerialnya dan menerapkan perencanaan berbasis data dan nilai-nilai Islam. Hal ini akan membuat proses pengambilan keputusan lebih partisipatif, akuntabel, dan berorientasi pada peningkatan kualitas dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran malpin (mal angka pintar) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimental design dengan desain nonequivalent control group. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 42 siswa yang terbagi ke dalam kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, tes, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol, dengan nilai n-gain sebesar 0,7140 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media malpin menunjukkan persentase rata-rata sebesar 85,1% yang berada pada kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran malpin efektif dan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi bilangan cacah.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the concept of Muhammadiyah ideology philosophically and ideologically, analyzing its manifestation in the preamble to the articles of association and bylaws (AD/ART), seven philosophies, and the role of 17 groups of verses in the Qur'an in shaping the character of cadres. This study uses philosophical and ideological analysis methods with a literature review approach, referring to fundamental documents and thematic interpretations used by Muhammadiyah. The results of the study conclude that Muhammadiyah's ideology is a comprehensive system rooted in tawhid, emphasizing righteous deeds, ijtihad, knowledge, and morals for social transformation towards khairu ummah. These core principles are manifested in the seven main ideas of the preamble, operationalized by the AD/ART, deepened by the seven philosophies, and crystallized for self-development through 17 groups of verses from the Qur'an. This ideology guides Muslims towards a just, progressive society based on the values of tawhid.
