Abstract

This study intends to describe the elements of feminism in Andrea Hirata's novel Love in a Glass. In this study used qualitative research. Reading and note-taking techniques were used to collect data. Novel Cinta in a Glass is examined using content analysis techniques as part of the data analysis process. Data validation techniques use persistence. The results to be revealed are violence, oppression, hard work, and resistance from a feminist point of view against the novel Cinta in the Glass through the characters Enong or Maryamah.

Abstract

Being a teacher is not an easy thing to apply knowledge to, but being a professional teacher is mandatory in order to produce educated successors to the nation. As a professional teacher, he will choose the right learning model for his students, the goal is to improve student learning outcomes and students quickly understand what the teacher has explained. This study aims to boost how effective the Hybrid Learning learning model is in exposition text in improving student learning outcomes of class X Madrasah Aliyah Ainul Hasan. The hybrid learning learning model is an option for implementing learning in this digital era from. The problems in this study, namely (1). What are the student learning outcomes before, after the implementation of the Hybrid Learning learning model, and (2). How is the effectiveness of the Hybrid Learning learning model? This research method is quantitative, using an experimental design on the exposition text of class X students in the pretest-posttest group. The population and sample used were all 31 students of class X Madrasah Aliyah Ainul Hasan. The results in this study were seen from the average results obtained before the implementation of Hybrid Learning 73.85, and after 86.91. The comparison of the results above shows that Hybrid Learning learning in exposition text is effective for improving student learning outcomes in class X Madrasah Aliyah Ainul Hasan.Keywords: Learning Model Effectiveness, Hybrid Learning, Exposition Text

Abstract

This study aims to describe the superlative comparison of creative thinking ability and poetry writing skills among students using constructivism and modeling methods. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research sample consists of two out of four classes, selected through purposive sampling technique. Data collection involves a set of performance tests or instruments for each variable under investigation. The data analysis technique employed in this quantitative research utilizes statistics. Two types of statistics are utilized for data analysis, namely descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The research findings indicate two main points. Firstly, the learning of poetry writing skills using the constructivism instructional model yields better results compared to the modeling instructional model. Secondly, the use of constructivism instructional model for poetry writing skills among students with high creative thinking ability has a more significant impact compared to the use of modeling instructional model. Therefore, it can be concluded that students who engage in learning with the constructivism instructional model, particularly those with high creative thinking ability, exhibit improved poetry writing skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan model discovery learning terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Kota Padang.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen the one group pretest-postest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Kota Padang yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan jumlah 546 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 9 yang berjumlah 36 orang yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah skor hasil tes keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Kota Padang sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model discovery learning. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah tes unjuk kerja, yaitu tes keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis dengan rumus persentase, rumus rata-rata hitung, dan uji-t.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan tiga hal berikut. Pertama, keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Kota Padang sebelum menggunakan model discovery learning Cukup (C) dengan nilai rata-rata 63,19. Kedua, keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Kota Padang sesudah menggunakan model discovery learning berada pada kualifikasi Baik (B) dengan nilai rata-rata 84,46. Ketiga, berdasarkan uji-t, hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima pada taraf kepercayaan dan derajat kebebasan (dk) = (n-1) karena thitung>ttabel (9,21>1,70). Dengan kata lain, model discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Kota Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of individual and group assignments on learning outcomes in class VII descriptive texts at junior high school. This research was conducted in class VII F and VIIG each class amounting to 32 students. To obtain the necessary data, the researchers used methods in the form of observation, written tests, non-written tests, documentation, while the analytical method used was quantitative data methods in the form of numbers. Data analysis techniques used by researchers are validity test, reliability test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedastic test, normality test, hypothesis testing. The results of this study are the influence of learning outcomes in descriptive texts on individual and group assignments. From the results of the hypothesis that students who are given individual assignments have better learning outcomes of 0.579 compared to the learning outcomes of 0.564 produced by students who are given group assignments Keywords: Description Text, Quantitative Method, Assignments, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research aims to determine the contribution of digital technology to learning achievement in class XI students at SMK Muhammadiyah Karanganyar. The type of research used is quantitative research. The population in this study were all class XI students at SMK Muhammadiyah Karanganyar with samples from class XI Tabog and XI Tekfar. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and questionnaires (questionnaires). The data analysis technique in this research is using the linearity test, Spearman rank correlation test and coefficient of determination test with the help of the SPSS application. The research results show that the linearity test produces a linear relationship between the two variables with a sig F value of 0.059>0.05. Based on the Spearman rank correlation test, a sign value of 0.00<0.05 was obtained with a correlation coefficient of 0.535, so that the relationship between digital technology and learning achievement has a correlation with a fairly strong level of relationship. The coefficient of determination in this research shows that digital technology contributes to learning achievement by 40.6%.Keywords: Digital technology, Achievement of Indonesian Language Learning

Abstract

The background of this problem illustrates a number of challenges faced by students in developing their language skills, and from the results of field observations and the results of exposition texts many language errors were found in grade X students of Raksana Medan Private High School, such as lack of interest in learning, lack of curiosity in language rules, tend to play, not concentrate on learning, not being careful in writing, and students have no limitations in understanding vocabulary. The purpose of this study is to explain (1) To determine errors at the morphological level in the exposition text of class X of Raksana Medan Private High School, (2) To find out language errors in sentences in the exposition text of class X of Raksana Medan Private High School. This research is a qualitative descriptive research using text samples of students of Raksana Medan Private High School. The sampling method used is purposive sampling. The data analysis method used is the Milles and Humberman interactive analysis model which consists of four stages, namely data collection, data validation, data presentation, and sampling techniques. There are still many errors found in writing hyphen sentences, and grade X students of Raksana Medan Private High School still find many errors in morphology such as reduplication errors in writing hyphens, and writing hyphens in sentences on correct reduplication is, such as the next example is Stages. such as theory (Tarigan, 1988:195).Keywords: Language errors, exposition text, morphology.

Abstract

The appropriate time in developing the basic abilities and potention of children is in the first five years of childhood which known as the golden age. Both physical motoric ability, language, cognitive, and social emotional. In this research, the basic abilities of children which is expanded is language. Therefore the writer is trying to have research on efforts to improve the development preteen language with audio visual media. This research involves the proteges at at-Taqwa Babatan Mukti kindergarten, Surabaya. Based on recent surveys, the language development of the research subject has not developed optimally. The purpose of this research is to know how audio visual affects to the language capabilities and know children’s interest in audio-visual learning. The method used by the writer in this research is quantitative descriptive method. As a field research, that is a study about audio visual effect in developing children’s language. After a series of research carried out from May 11- May 18 2023. In the early observation the subject had not shown good results yet in audio visual media learning. Related to language skill. But after a series of treatment for the subject we have, it is indicated that the protege has reached the criteria for success. The results show that language development in children from A group of AT-TAQWA kindergarten Wiyung Surabaya is making progress. This is indicated by the presentation from children’s activation result in pre-test by 68,75% undergoes progress in post test by 87,50% and the presentation of children’s language abilities result in pre-test by 50% undergoes progress in post test by 75,80%.

Abstract

This research aims to express the meaning of the poem entitled "Pulang Kampung" by Iqbal Naspa using Riffaterre's semiotic approach, namely heuristic and hermeneutic reading. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out using library techniques, listening, and taking notes. Data analysis was carried out using the semiotic reading model. The results of the research showed that the poem tells the parents who have several hopes for their children. First, they expect that children who have migrated will still return home to visit their parents back home. Second, they wish that their children realize that they were once in their mother's womb. Finally, they remind their children to have filial obedience and they always pray for this.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the influence of using YouTube learning media on the Poetry Writing skills of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Jambi City. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 7 Jambi City. This research took place from January 15 2024 to January 30 2024. The sampling technique used a purposive sampling technique from the population. Data collection techniques use tests and documentation. In this research, the tests that will be carried out are pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques in this research are very important to determine learning outcomes in the learning process using YouTube learning media using test recapitulation. Before analyzing the data, things that need to be considered are carrying out pre-requisite tests for data analysis, including data normality tests, data homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The research results show that the use of YouTube learning media in learning to write poetry has a significant influence in improving students' skills in writing poetry.Kata Kunci: Yotube, Menulis Puisi
