Abstract

Abstract: Stunting Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children under five years old caused by chronic malnutrition which is a problem in Indonesia. The aim of the research is to find out whether there is an influence of stunting education via YouTube social media on students at SMA Negeri 4 Samarinda. This research uses a quantitative research design with a Pretest - Posttest Control Group Design to compare the experimental group that was given stunting education via videos on YouTube social media with a control group that was not given intervention. The number of samples in this study was 20 students of class XI. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Test statistical analysis with the Wilcoxson Alternative Test. The result of the p-value is 0.000 because the p value <α (0.05), then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This shows that the respondents' knowledge before and after being given interventions regarding stunting to students at SMA Negeri 4 Samarinda increased the average value of the respondents' knowledge. So there is a significant influence on knowledge before the intervention is given and after the intervention is given by providing stunting education.Keywords: Education, Stunting, Teenager, YoutubeAbstrak: Stunting adalah kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak berusia dibawah lima tahun yang disebabkan kekurangan gizi kronis yang menjadi masalah di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh edukasi stunting melalui media sosial youtube pada siswa SMA Negeri 4 Samarinda. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan with desaign Pretest – Posttest Control Grup Desaign untuk membandingkan kelompok experiment yang diberikan edukasi stunting melalui video di media sosial youtube dengan kelompok kontrol yang tidak diberikan intervensi. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 orang siswa/I kelas XI. Instrument yang digunakan ialah kuesioner. Uji analisis statistik dengan Uji Alternatif Wilcoxson. Hasil p-value 0,000 karena nilai p<α (0,05) maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa pengetahuan responden sebelum dan setelah diberikan intevensi mengenai stunting pada siswa dan siswi di SMA Negeri 4 Samarinda terdapat peningkatan nilai rata – rata pengetahuan responden. Sehingga ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan sebelum diberikan intervensi dan setelah diberikan intervensi  pemberian edukasi stunting.Kata kunci: Edukasi, Remaja, Stunting, Youtube

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to examine theoretical and philosophical-based curriculum management. The method used is a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The data used comes from relevant books, journals, and scientific articles. The research results show curriculum management includes planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the curriculum. Theoretically, curriculum management is related to increasing the efficiency of resource use, fairness, and opportunities for students and the relevance and effectiveness of learning. Philosophically, character-based curriculum management aligns with the national education goal of forming students with morals. In conclusion, curriculum management requires integrating theoretical and philosophical aspects to achieve comprehensive educational goals, including improving teacher performance and the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process and empowering curriculum components efficiently and effectively.Keywords: curriculum management on a theoretical; philosophical basis.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji manajemen kurikulum berbasis teoritis dan filosofis. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Data yang digunakan berasal dari buku, jurnal, dan artikel ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kurikulum mencakup perencanaan, pengorgan-isasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kurikulum. Secara teoritis, manajemen kurikulum berhub-ungan dengan peningkatan efisiensi pemanfaatan sumber daya, keadilan, dan kesempatan bagi siswa, serta relevansi dan efektivitas pembelajaran. Secara filosofis, manajemen kurikulum berbasis karakter sejalan dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional untuk membentuk peserta didik yang berakhlak. Adapun kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, manajemen kurikulum memerlukan integrasi antara aspek teoritis dan filosofis untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang kompre-hensif, termasuk peningkatan kinerja guru dan efektivitas proses belajar mengajar serta pem-berdayaan komponen kurikulum secara efisien dan efektif.Kata kunci: managemen kurikulum berbasis teoritis; filosofis.

Abstract

Abstract:  Elementary school mathematics is a subject used to teach mathematical concepts that form the basis of students' basic understanding before they move on to deeper understanding. Students often become passive due to implementing teacher-centred learning models and the lack of media that encourages student engagement, resulting in a low understanding of their concepts. The TGT learning model and EBS-PBM Apps application media are some of the alternatives to the student-centered learning model. This study aims to determine students' understanding of mathematical concepts influenced by the TGT learning model with the help of the EBS-PBM Apps application. A quasi-experiment with a non-experimental control group design was the research methodology used. Descriptive and inferential statistical tests were used in data analysis with IBM SPSS Statistics 26. This means that the TGT learning model assisted by EBS-PBM Apps effectively improves students' understanding of mathematical concepts. It can be a better alternative learning model than the conventional one without using the non-application.Keywords: EBS-PBM apps; games; TGT model; understanding mathematical concepts Abstrak: Matematika sekolah dasar adalah pelajaran yang digunakan untuk mengajarkan konsep matematika yang menjadi dasar pemahaman dasar siswa sebelum mereka melanjutkan ke pemahaman yang lebih dalam. Siswa sering kali menjadi pasif karena penerapan model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru dan kurangnya media yang mendorong keterlibatan siswa yang berakibat pada rendahnya pemahaman konsep mereka. Model pembelajaran TGT dan media aplikasi EBS-PBM Apps merupakan salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang dipengaruhi oleh model pembelajaran TGT dengan bantuan aplikasi EBS-PBM Apps. Eksperimen semu dengan desain kelompok kontrol non-eksperimental adalah metodologi penelitian yang digunakan. Uji statistik deskriptif dan satistik inferensial digunakan dalam analisis data dengan IBM SPSS Statistics 26. Pemahaman konsep matematis siswa  meningkat sebesar 0,73, termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, menurut analisis data dan perhitungan N-Gain. Artinya, model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan EBS-PBM Apps efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa, sehingga dapat menjadi alternatif model pembelajaran yang lebih baik dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional dan tanpa menggunakan aplikasi tersebut.Kata kunci: aplikasi EBS-PBM Apps; model TGT; pemahaman konsep matematis; permainan

Abstract

Abstract: The learning process must develop students' learning skills, one of which is the development of students' social skills. The research aims to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on students' social attitudes. The research method is quantitative research. The instrument is a questionnaire sheet on students' social attitudes. The population used in this research was class X students. The research sample consisted of class XA students as the experimental class and class > 0.05, and the hypothesis test results are 0.001 < 0.05. The research results show that learning models significantly influence social attitudes. The influence of the learning model cannot be separated from the learning syntax. Applying syntax continuously can train students' skills in the learning process. Furthermore, the PBL learning model can be used as an alternative to improve students' social attitude skills.Keywords: biology learning process; problem-based learning; social attitudes Abstrak: Proses pembelajaran harus dapat mengembangkan keterampilan belajar siswa salah satunya seperti perkembangan keterampilan sosioal siswa. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap sikap sosial siswa. Metode penelitian yaitu penelitian kuantitatif. Instrumen yaitu lembar angket sikap sosial siswa. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari siswa kelas XA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XB sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis yaitu uji normalitas 0,62 > 0,05, uji homogenitas 0,80 > 0,05 dan hasil uji hipotesis yaitu 0,001 < 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran terhadap sikap sosial. Berpengaruhnya model pembelajaran tidak lepas dari sinktaks pembelajaran. Sintaks pembelajaran diterapkan secara berkelanjutan dapat melatih keterampilan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Lebih lanjut model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sikap sosial siswa.Kata kunci: Problem-Based Learning; proses pembelajaran Biologi; sikap sosial

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze students' interest in learning in the Natural Sciences learning process using children's songs in elementary schools. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques through reviewing the Natural Sciences class IV teaching module (documentation), observing the Natural Sciences learning process using children's songs, and interviewing class teachers and students in grade IV. The study's results indicate that children's songs can increase students' interest in learning science, according to the indicators the author has observed. Students become more enthusiastic, active, and interested and show attention during the learning process; children's songs also help students to understand the material being taught more efficiently, and students also participate during the learning process by singing the songs provided. This study concludes that using children's songs in science learning in elementary schools positively impacts students' interest in learning.Keywords: children’s song media; interest to learn; learning process; natural science. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis minat belajar siswa pada proses pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) menggunakan media lagu anak di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriftif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui telaah modul ajar IPAS kelas IV (dokumentasi), observasi proses pembelajaran IPA menggunakan media lagu anak, dan wawancara kepada guru kelas dan siswa kelas IV. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media lagu anak dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA sesuai dengan indikator yang telah penulis amati. Siswa menjadi lebih semangat, aktif, tertarik serta menunjukkan perhatian pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung, media lagu anak juga membantu peserta didik untuk lebih mudah memahami materi yang diajarkan, para peserta didik juga ikut berpartisipasi pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung dengan menyanyikan lagu yang disediakan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media lagu anak pada pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar memiliki dampak yang positif terhadap minat belajar siswa.Kata kunci: Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam; media lagu; anak minat belajar; proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract: Reading literacy is a critical aspect of supporting the student learning process. Therefore, this study evaluated students' reading literacy skills through the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach at SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang. The study's objectives are: (1) To describe the level of reading literacy of second-grade students using the TaRL approach, and (2) To identify several factors supporting inhibit-ing students' reading literacy through the TaRL approach second-grade. This study uses qualitative and descriptive research methods data collection techniques through interviews, non-participant observations, and documentation. Data validity is carried out by triangulation of sources and techniques and data analysis techniques using data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. Based on the study's results, it concluded that the level of reading literacy ability of grade II students SD Supriyadi 02 varied. There are no students at the beginner letter level; at the word level, there are 4 students, 10 students at the sentence level, 9 students at the paragraph level, and 7 students at the story level. The results of student ability tests are in the excellent category, as seen by the ability level achieved by the student. So, with students' reading literacy skills through the TaRL approach, they can minimize their low reading literacy with regular reading activities.Keywords: Reading Literacy; TaRL Abstrak: Literasi membaca adalah aspek penting dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan literasi membaca siswa melalui pendekatan Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) di SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mendeskripsikan tingkat kemampuan literasi membaca siswa kelas dua menggunakan pendekatan TaRL, dan (2) Mengidentifikasi beberapa faktor pendukung dan penghambat literasi membaca siswa melalui pendekatan TaRL di kelas dua. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif . Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi non partisipan, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber dan teknik, serta teknik analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan literasi baca siswa kelas II SD Supriyadi 02  bervariasi. Tidak terdapat siswa pada level pemula dan huruf, level kata terdapat 4 siswa, 10 siswa pada level kalimat,  dan 9 siswa pada level paragraf, serta 7 siswa pada level cerita. Hasil kemampuan tes siswa masuk dalam kategori baik dilihat dengan ting-kat kemampuan level yang dicapai oleh siswa. Sehingga dengan kemampuan literasi membaca siswa melalui pendekatan TaRL dapat meminimalisir rendahnya literasi membaca siswa dengan kegiatan membaca yang dilakukan secara rutin.Kata kunci: literasi membaca; TaRL

Abstract

Abstract: One of the factors causing low student learning outcomes is the teacher's inability to create exciting learning and appropriate teaching materials. Therefore, researchers developed teaching materials as inquiry-based learner worksheets with renewable energy materials. This research aims to determine the appropriateness of the learner worksheets being developed and their influence on improving students' critical thinking abilities. This research uses a development approach or Research and Development. The learning model is ADDIE. In the implementation stage, one group pretest-posttest experimental design was used. This research results in the learner worksheet being developed in printed form. The results of the quantitative data are the validator value for learner worksheets, with an average of 83.5%, which is a very feasible category. The results of the quantitative data analysis are average values with sig. 0.138 is normally distributed, the homogeneity value is 0.137, which is homogeneous, and the hypothesis value is 0.000, which means H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. The N-gain value is 0.42 in the medium category. The analysis of student responses showed that 33% strongly agreed, 63% agreed, 3% disagreed, and 1% disagreed. So, it can be concluded that the learner worksheets are suitable for use and have an effect on improving students' critical thinking skills.Keywords: inquiry learning; learner worksheet. Abstrak: Faktor rendahnya hasil belajar siswa salah satunya disebabkan oleh ketidakmampuan seorang guru dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik serta bahan ajar yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, dikembangkan bahan ajar berupa LKPD berbasis inkuiri dengan materi energi terbarukan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan LKPD yang dikembangkan dan pengaruhnya terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pengembangan Research and Development. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan yaitu ADDIE. Dalam tahap implementasi menggunakan desain eksperimen one group pretest-posttest design. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah LKPD yang dikembangkan berbentuk cetak. Hasil data kuantitatif yaitu nilai validator terhadap LKPD dengan rata-rata 83,5% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil analisis data kuantitatif berupa nilai normalitas dengan sig. 0,138 berdistribusi normal, nilai homogenitas 0,137 yang bersifat homogen, nilai hipotesis 0,000 yang berarti H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak, dan nilai N-gain 0,42 dengan kategori sedang. Hasil analisis respon siswa menyatakan 33% sangat setuju, 63% setuju, 3% kurang setuju, dan 1% tidak setuju. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD layak digunakan dan berpengaruh pada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.Kata kunci: LKPD; Pembelajaran Inkuiri; Energi Terbarukan

Abstract

Abstract: Universitas Terbuka (UT) in Indonesia is a pioneer in distance learning that offers comprehensive learning support programs to improve student retention. Assignment workshops and exam clinics provide valuable guidance and support to help students overcome academic challenges and achieve their educational goals. Continued investment in these support services is essential for promoting student retention and fostering a positive learning environment. This paper discusses how learner support programs implemented by Universitas Terbuka enhance student retention. These programs include distance learning skill workshops, assignment workshops, and exam clinics, which provide academic assistance and guidance to support students’ independent study. This study employs a qualitative research method involving questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The participants were students from the Bachelor of English Education Study Program. The results indicate that learner support programs positively impact student academic success and retention by increasing students' confidence, enhancing their technology literacy skills, and fostering their independence. It can be concluded that learner support programs employed by UT are strategically important for maintaining student satisfaction, supporting student success, and improving retention rates.Keywords: assignment workshops; exam clinics; Universitas Terbuka; distance learning; student retention

Abstract

Advancements in technology have significantly impacted the integration of technology into educational practices. However, incorporating technology into teaching remains challenging, largely due to the insufficient training received by some educators in this area. Effective technology integration, particularly in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) settings, necessitates the use of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework. This study aimed to examine the TPACK competencies of certified high school English teachers. A case study method was employed as it was deemed the most suitable approach for this research. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with five certified high school English teachers. The findings revealed that the participants considered themselves proficient in nearly all sub-dimensions of TPACK. The study concluded that certified high school English teachers possess a strong understanding of TPACK and the ability to apply it effectively. This study highlights the importance of raising awareness among English teachers regarding the TPACK framework. Ultimately, it contributes to the development of English teachers' competencies through TPACK, thereby enhancing the quality of the teaching and learning process

Abstract

Abstract: Verbal bullying is one of the factors inhibiting student learning motivation. Motivation is the foundation for students to achieve maximum learning outcomes, which in turn serve as the basis for determining the attainment of expected competencies. Therefore, it is crucial to comprehend the connection between verbal bullying and student motivation for learning. This study aims to explore the impact of verbal bullying on student learning motivation in elementary schools and provide recommendations to mitigate its negative effects on the school environment. Moreover, it creates a positive culture in schools. This study employs a qualitative research approach, utilizing the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The findings indicate that verbal bullying significantly reduces elementary school students’ learning motivation by causing psychological distress, such as low self-confidence, anxiety, and social isolation. These negative effects disrupt students’ engagement in the learning process, ultimately hindering their academic performance. Early intervention and consistent anti-bullying measures are essential to prevent long-term educational setbacks. Thus, creating a supportive school environment through collaboration among educators, parents, and policy-makers can help mitigate the impact of verbal bullying and foster positive student development.Keywords: learning motivation; primary school; verbal bullying
