Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kesadaran karier pada siswa Sekolah Dasar kelas 4,5, dan 6. Kesadaran karier (career awareness) merupakan kematangan karier yang perlu dicapai oleh individu dan perlu diberikan pada awal tahun individu di sekolah, yaitu pada tingkat pendidikan dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaif dengan metode survey. Jumlah sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik slovin. Penentuan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan cara random sampling.. pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan angket kepada 189 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa pada kelas IV, V, dan VI berada pada kategori tinggi. hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa para siswa di kelas atas telah memiliki kesadaran karier.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan: Untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan permainan ular tangga dalam bimbingan kelompok untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 1 Batujajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development, dari 10 tahapan peneliti menggunakan 7 tahapan menyeseuaikan kebutuhan penelitian dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) Identifikasi Masalah, (2) Pengumpulan Data, (3) Tahap Perencanaan, (4) Pengembangan Draft Produk, (5) Validasi Produk, (6) Uji Coba Produk, (7) Revisi Produk. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dilihat dari hasil validasi ahli media yang mendapat persentase 92,00%, ahli materi mendapatkan 92,00%, dan ahli praktisi mendapatkan 90,46%. Maka dari validasi keseluruhan yang telah dilaksanakan diperoleh hasil rata-rata 91,33%, maka kualitas kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”.Kata Kunci: Permainan Ular Tangga, Bimbingan Kelompok, Percaya Diri

Abstract

This study aims to examine juvenile delinquency from a psychological and legal perspective. The research method used is qualitative research with a literature study approach. Based on the results of the literature study, it was found that juvenile delinquency from a psychological perspective is a form of adolescent behavior that leads to social pathological symptoms caused by permissive parenting, lack of family affection and communication, and the role of peer groups. Meanwhile, according to the legal point of view, juvenile delinquency is a form of unlawful behavior committed by adolescents under the age of 18 and handling it is regulated by the Child Protection Act and the Juvenile Justice Act.

Abstract

Personality is one of the aspects of a school counselor’s professional competence, which is shown by the ability to carry out creative and innovative services. This study aims to profile and analyze school counselors’ creative personalities in West Bandung Regency. This survey study distributed a creative personality questionnaire through Google Form to sixty-eight school counselors in junior high schools in West Bandung Regency. The study result showed that 18% of the participants have low creativity, 60% have moderate creativity, and 22% have high creativity. Further scrutiny through sub variable analysis showed that 19% of participants have low creativity in terms of product, while 56% and 25% have moderate and high creativity, respectively. Regarding participants’ creative attitude, 12% exhibited a low attitude, 69% exhibited a moderate attitude, and 19% exhibited a high attitude toward creativity. Lastly, 18% of participants have low creative behaviors, 68% have moderate creative behaviors, and 16% have high creative behaviors. The result of this study could be used as empirical data for developing school counselors’ creativity.

Abstract

The school culture of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is full of character development, and the role of the Principal as an educator with Pedagogical Competence is predicted to be able to develop students' character significantly. This study aims to prove the influence of the Principal's pedagogical competence and school culture on students' character development in Madrasah. The research was conducted through quantitative methods. The population and sample of the study were 60 people, taken from the entire madrasa academic community in Plaju District. Analysis of the data used is the Multiple Regression Test. The results showed that the Principal's pedagogical competence and school culture simultaneously significantly affected character development. However, based on the partial analysis, the Principal's pedagogical competence is less influential than the teacher's performance in character development.

Abstract

Anggota keluarga TNI-AD harus siap mendukung tugas seorang tentara, termasuk apabila harus berpindah-pindah tugas. Kepindahan dapat menjadi sumber stres dalam kehidupan mereka, tidak terkecuali pada anak TNI-AD yang berusia remaja. Namun, kepindahan tempat tinggal juga memberikan dampak positif bagi mereka. Semakin banyak pengalaman baru membuat mereka semakin dapat menyesuaikan dengan beragam lingkungan dan membantu untuk mengatasi tekanan dan permasalahan sosial yang dihadapi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penyesuaian sosial dan pemecahan masalah sosial pada anak TNI-AD, yang berpindah-pindah tempat tinggal. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner (Penyesuaian Sosial berdasarkan teori dari Schneider dan Social Problem Solving Inventory – Revised dari D’Zurilla). Hasil dari penelitian ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara penyesuaian sosial dengan pemecahan masalah sosial pada anak tentara yang berpindah-pindah tempat tinggal (r = .611, sig .000 < .01). Selain itu, penyesuaian sosial dan pemecahan masalah sosial pada anak tentara yang berpindah-pindah tempat tinggal tergolong cukup.

Abstract

Children under the age of 18 years or minors are considered unable to make rational decisions so they need parental consent before getting counseling. However, parental consent can be a reason for children to withdraw from getting counseling assistance even though the problem is urgent. Therefore, this research was conducted to review the urgency of parental consent in the implementation of counseling for minors. This study uses the systematic literature review (SLR) method which aims to synthesize and present more in-depth data from 21 selected previous studies in the form of journal articles and books on Google Scholar, PubMed, Harzing, and Mendeley. The urgency of parental consent before counseling for minors is a requirement, not a necessity, which means it is only to determine whether the counseling can be held and does not have a significant impact on the implementation of counseling. Therefore, counselors still have to prioritize the rights and beliefs of children in counseling. Limitations of decisions that can be made by minors without parental intervention need to be examined more deeply in future studies.

Abstract

Abstract Late adolescence students have a negative body image, making them judge themselves as worthless. This study aims to test the influence of body image on self-esteem. The theory used was body image (Cash, 2002) and self-esteem (Rosenberg, 1965). This study was a quantitative research with a causality research design. The hypothesis in this study was that there is an influence of body image on self-esteem. The research subjects were 162 students who were active in the Psychology of UNJANI. The research instrument was the body image questionnaire of 26 items and a self-esteem questionnaire of 10 items. The body image instrument has a reliability value of 0.892 and the validity value ranges from 0.503 to 0.911, reliability value of self-esteem is 0.843 with a validity value ranging from 0.502 to 0.819. The writer used a simple linear regression test to determine the influence of body image. The results showed that the value of R Square = 0.180 and the significance of p = 0.000 means that there was a significant effect between body image and self-esteem by 18%. This means that the more positive the body image, the higher the self-esteem.Keywords: body image, self-esteem, late adolescence  Abstrak Mahasiswa remaja akhir memiliki citra tubuh negatif yang menyebabkan mereka menilai diri mereka tidak berharga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh body image terhadap self esteem. Teori yang digunakan yaitu body image (Cash, 2002) dan self esteem (Rosenberg, 1965). Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian kausalitas. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh body image terhadap self esteem. Subjek penelitian, yaitu 162 orang mahasiswi aktif  Psikologi UNJANI. Instrumen penelitian, yaitu kuesioner body image sebanyak 26 item dan kuesioner self esteem sebanyak 10 item. Instrumen body image memiliki nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0,892 dan nilai validitas berkisar dari 0,503 – 0,911 , self esteem sebesar 0,843 dengan nilai validitas berkisar 0,502 – 0,819. Peneliti menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari body image. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai R Square = 0,180 dan signifikansi p = 0,000, artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara body image terhadap self esteem sebesar 18%. Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa semakin positif body image yang dimiliki, maka semakin tinggi self-esteem.Kata Kunci: body image, self-esteem, remaja akhir

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-compassion terhadap regulasi emosi siswa SMP Negeri Kecamatan Semarang Timur ditinjau dari gender. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitaif dengan desain ex-post facto. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah SMP Negeri 2 dan SMP Negeri 6 yang berada di wilayah Kecamatan Semarang Timur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 1.111 siswa. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 286 siswa kelas VII dan kelas VIII yang diambil dengan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala self-compassion dan skala regulasi emosi siswa yang sudah di uji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua teknik analisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis moderasi berbasis regresi. Self-compassion siswa berada pada kategori sedang (M = 54) dan regulasi emosi siswa berada pada kategori sedang (M = 75.90 ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-compassion berpengaruh terhadap regulasi emosi dengan nilai (R2 = 0,551, ρ < 0,05). Artinya self-compassion memberikan kontribusi terhadap regulasi emosi sebesar 55,1%. Selanjutnya diketahui bahwa gender tidak memiliki efek pada pengaruh self-compassion terhadap regulasi emosi. Guru BK direkomendasikan untuk membantu siswa ke arah pengembangan self-compassion siswa melalui layanan bimbingan konseling khususnya konseling kelompok. Peneliti selanjutnya dapat melakukan penelitian lanjutan serupa yang dilakukan di berbagai setting pendidikan dan juga dapat meneliti faktor-faktor lain yang mempengaruhi regulasi emosi selain self-compassion.

Abstract

Fresh graduates who have just finished their education in college will be required to immediately get a job. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has reduced the chances of getting a job. In dealing with this situation, social support from the family is needed to increase optimism. This study focuses on knowing the effect of each form of family social support on optimism in getting a job during the COVID-19 pandemic for fresh graduates of Nurtanio University. The method used is a quantitative method. Sampling using total sampling technique, with research subjects as many as 61 people. Collecting data through a questionnaire based on Sarafino's social support theory (2011) with a validity value of 0.463 - 0.849 and a reliability of 0.813 and Seligman's (2008) theory of optimism with a validity value of 0.585 - 0.887 and a reliability of 0.901. The results showed that the p-value of the four forms of social support was 0.000, meaning that there was a significant influence between the four forms of family social support on optimism, with details, namely: 1) Emotional support 28.9% (adj. R2 = 0.289). 2) Instrumental Support 27.7% (Adj. R2= 0.277). 3) Informational Support 36.8% (adj. R2= 0.368). 4) Friendship Support 31.2% (adj. R2= 0.312). Suggestions from this study are for families or parents to be able to balance the provision between the four forms of social support that exist, especially in the form of instrumental support so that the problems faced can be directly resolved and suggestions for further research that have an interest in similar topics in order to expand the reach of the population used.
