Abstract

In sorting waste and differentiating it, of course, requires skill and knowledge, it's just that so far the residents do not have the main information or material sources to understand it. Therefore, this study aims to identify the initial needs of the residents as one of the needs in the effort to develop au-dio-visual media to make it easier for residents to understand waste sorting. This research is included in the needs analysis research with a descriptive quantitative method, with an instrument to collect data, namely a question-naire. Data analysis techniques were carried out descriptively and percent-ages. The results of this research succeeded in showing that, the residents as a whole need a media as their main source of information in understanding waste segregation material, the type of media is audio-visual media, this is due to the opinion of the residents that the media is not so complex to run, and still tend to be familiar to use among residents. It is hoped that this re- search can become the basis for the development of an innovative audio-visual media product to make it easier for residents to understand waste sort-ing in their environment

Abstract

The development of information technology requires the process of digitiza-tion in all aspects, and the means commonly used to convey information need to be directed to digital and control activities that are starting to lead to digitalization. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the needs of BUMDes managers to manage BUMDes activities that are integrated with the village information system (SID). This research is a qualitative type, with a descrip-tive type, the research subjects who became information consisted of 4 BUMDes managers with non-test data collection techniques accompanied by instruments namely observation sheets and lists of questions. The data analy-sis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. The research results show that the ability possessed by BUMDes management is still quite low and while carrying out management activities it is still fixated on administra-tive matters, not being innovative in formulating a program. Apart from that, the obstacles they face are also because some of the managers are still rela-tively new to the presence of BUMDes so they still cannot fully understand the duties and functions of BUMDes itself, therefore they need media that contains information in electronic module format or e-module on how to manage BUMDes digitally and has been integrated with an information sys-tem, so that managers can be better prepared and understand howBUMDes works. This research will have an impact on improving the quality of human resources, from independent learning through e-modules whose needs are being analyzed, a product will be created for BUMDes employees that they can learn from.

Abstract

Technological developments have changed the way students learn, many students prefer to use smartphones to study compared to using books. Learn-ing biology itself is learning that requires students to do a lot of activities so the right method used is a problem-based and experimental learning method. However, schools cannot provide all learning facilities such as practicum equipment. Therefore, teachers can use existing technology such as digital learning media to support learning. This type of research is qualitative de-scriptive research. The focus of the research is 32 student’s science majors of grade 2 high school students. Methods of data collection using interviews and using a questionnaire. The analysis was carried out in four stages: data collection, data reduction, data preconcludinging conclusions. The results of the study show that there is a great opportunity for conducting experiment-based learning with the help of a smartphone, such as using a virtual labora-tory. As many as 81% of students said that practicum would help them un-derstand biology concepts. Additionally, 94% of students use technology to help them learn. Thus using of virtual laboratories is an opportunity to over-come the lack of learning facilities and can encourage students to be more active in learning activities.

Abstract

This research investigates the use of video as a medium of learning in elementary grades. Video media is an appropriate and accurate learning media in conveying messages and will greatly help students' understanding. With video media, students will understand more about the material presented. In particular, this study aims to explore whether video-assisted learning can increase student motivation. A qualitative approach was adopted in this study by employing teachers and students in an elementary school in Indonesia as research participants. These participants were selected purposively. Interviews, observations, and documentation were used to collect data. This study found that video-assisted learning media positively facilitates technology-enhanced teaching and learning processes and offers more optimal time management, flexible and varied teaching materials. These findings also show that the use of video-assisted learning media has a positive impact on student learning. Videos can create variations in class so that students' attention is focused on learning which stimulates students' motivation to be involved during the teaching and learning process. Students are motivated to take part in learning because the materials and media used are more sophisticated, modern, interesting, effective and innovative.

Abstract

Digitization in an information delivery system is a sign that the development of digital technology is getting faster and entering all aspects of life. There-fore, this study aims to identify various needs in the framework of develop-ing a tutorial-based electronic module (e-module) for Village operators to operate the SIAP Desa application. This research is a descriptive- quantitative research using a survey method, the research subjects consisted of 61 village operators with a non-test data collection technique accompanied by an in-strument, namely a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is de-scriptive analysis technique with percentages. The research results show that village operators have a low level of understanding on how to operate the SIA P Desa application, even though most of them have attended training ac-tivities. They needed material that they could study in the form of text or video tutorials. Most of them then agreed that e-modules or electronic mod-ules were one of the efforts that could be made so that they could learn the material for operating the SIAP Desa application independently.
