Abstract

Reading comprehension difficulties among elementary school students remain a common issue, yet they have not been extensively studied, despite their significant impact on students academic performance and literacy skills. This study aims to describe the factors contributing to students' difficulties in understanding reading materials and to identify the strategies employed by teachers, parents, and schools to address these challenges. A qualitative approach with a case study design was used, involving 11 fifth-grade students from fifth grade C at SD Negeri Ledug, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings indicate that reading comprehension difficulties stem from internal factors, such as low reading interest, weak memory, and limited vocabulary; as well as external factors, including limited instructional time, lack of parental support, an unconducive learning environment, and the influence of digital devices. The strategies implemented to overcome these issues include learning assistance from teachers and parents, and the implementation of school-based literacy programs. The study concludes that a synergistic collaboration between teachers, parents, and schools is essential in enhancing students' reading comprehension skills. Kesulitan membaca pemahaman pada siswa sekolah dasar masih sering terjadi, namun belum banyak dikaji secara mendalam, padahal hal ini memengaruhi prestasi akademik dan kemampuan literasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor penyebab kesulitan memahami isi bacaan dan strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru, orang tua, dan sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan 11 siswa kelas VC SD Negeri Ledug yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan membaca pemahaman disebabkan oleh faktor internal, seperti rendahnya minat baca, lemahnya daya ingat, dan keterbatasan kosakata; serta faktor eksternal seperti waktu pembelajaran yang terbatas, kurangnya dukungan orang tua, lingkungan belajar tidak kondusif, dan pengaruh gawai. Strategi yang dilakukan meliputi pendampingan belajar oleh guru dan orang tua, serta pengadaan program literasi sekolah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan pentingnya sinergi antara guru, orang tua, dan sekolah dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

Di era abad 21, siswa dituntut untuk memiliki berbagai macam keahlian dan kecakapan yang kompleks yang mencakup kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif, kolaborasi, komunikasi, dan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini memiliki untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif metode pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran abad 21. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses) untuk menjamin transparansi dan reproduksibilitas hasil penelitian, yang mencakup pengumpulan data dari artikel jurnal ilmiah, literatur, dan publikasi lainnya yang sesuai sebagai sumber penelitian. Hasil pada penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwsanya pembelajaran berdiferensiasi mampu memberikan peningkatan pada hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan dalam menguasai keterampilan abad 21. Hal ini dikarenakan metode ini memungkinkan siswa untuk belajar dengan cara yang sesuai dengan minat, kemampuan, dan gaya belajar siswa. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sangat efektif dalam upaya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran abad 21.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur dengan jenis Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Referensi yang dikaji terdiri dari jurnal ilmiah, prosiding, dan artikel penelitian yang membahas pembelajaran berbasis permainan, interaksi sosial siswa, dan pembelajaran Matematika di sekolah dasar. Analisis dilakukan secara tematik untuk menemukan relevansi penggunaan High Five Game terhadap aspek kognitif dan sosial pembelajaran. Pembelajaran Matematika di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi tantangan berupa rendahnya motivasi dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi dasar seperti penjumlahan dan pengurangan. Hal ini diperparah dengan penggunaan metode konvensional yang cenderung monoton, kurang interaktif, dan tidak melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana High Five Game sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis permainan dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa secara aktif dan sosial dalam proses pembelajaran Matematika di kelas.

Abstract

GPK play a key role in the learning process for inclusive education, but some inclusive schools do not yet meet the need for special education teachers. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of special education teachers on the implementation of inclusive education. This study uses a quantitative correlation method with data collection techniques through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The population of this study consists of special education teachers in inclusive schools across Kebumen Regency, and the sample was selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques employed Pearson's correlation with the assistance of SPSS. The results of the study indicate that the correlation coefficient at a significance level of 0.01 indicates a strong correlation between special education teachers and the implementation of inclusive education. This strong relationship should be considered to ensure that teachers are evenly distributed across all inclusive schools, enabling education for children with special needs to proceed smoothly and equitably. The conclusion of this study is that GPK have a positive influence on the implementation of inclusive education.GPK dalam proses pembelajaran untuk pendidikan inklusif menjadi bagian yang utama tetapi ada beberapa sekolah inklusi yang belum memenuhi kebutuhan akan guru pendamping khusus. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh guru pendamping khusus terhadap implementasi pendidikan inklusif. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasi dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket, observasi, dan wawancara. Populasi dari penelitian ini yaitu guru pendamping khusus di sekolah inklusi se-Kebupaten Kebumen dan sampel diambil menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi pearson dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil korelasi pada signifikasi sebesar 0,01 yang menyatakan bahwa hubungan antara guru pendamping khusus dengan implementasi pendidikan inklusif berkorelasi kuat. Hubungan yang kuat dapat menjadi perhatian untuk meratakan guru di setiap sekolah inklusi sehingga pendidikan bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus dapat berjalan dengan baik dan seimbang. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu GPK berpengaruh positif terhadap implementasi pendidikan inklusif.

Abstract

Test instruments are tools used to measure students' abilities, knowledge, or skills. Several types of test instruments include: objective, descriptive, and action tests. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of cognitive domains of objective and descriptive tests in Indonesian language textbooks for grade VIII using Bloom's taxonomy. The focus of this study was objective tests and descriptive tests contained in Indonesian language textbooks for grade VIII junior high school in the poetry and speech chapters. This study used a qualitative literature study method using data sources in the form of books and scientific journal articles. literature study theory. The data source in this study was Indonesian language textbooks for grade VIII junior high school. Based on the results of the analysis of Indonesian language textbooks for grade VIII junior high school in the poetry and speech chapters reflecting the diversity of junior high school students' thinking levels according to Bloom's taxonomy, three objective test data were found, namely C2-Categorizing, C4-Analyzing, and C1-Identifying. Then eight data for descriptive text namely C2-Explaining and comparing, C4-Classifying, C3-Determining, C2-Categorizing, C3-Assigning, C2-Categorizing, C3-Determining, and C6-Creating. For that, the arrangement of objective and descriptive questions for junior high school students can be determined, namely using bloom's taxonomy (C2-C4), paying attention to language levels, variations in question forms, calibration with grids and KD/TP. Thus, in this study, the Indonesian language textbook for class VIII of junior high school is in accordance with Bloom’s taxsonomy and its curriculum.Instrumen tes merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan, pengetahuan, atau keterampilan siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk  menganalisis tingkat ranah kognitif jenis tes objektif dan uraian pada buku teks Bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII menggunakan taksonomi bloom. Fokus penelitian ini tes objektif dan tes uraian yang terdapat dalam buku teks Bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII SMP pada bab puisi dan pidato. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif studi pustaka dengan menggunakan sumber data berupa buku-buku dan artikel-artikel jurnal ilmiah. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah  buku teks Bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII. Berdasarkan hasil analisis buku teks Bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII SMP pada bab puisi dan pidato mencerminkan keberagaman tingkat berpikir siswa SMP sesuai dengan taksonomi bloom, ditemukan tiga data tes objektif yakni C2-Mengkategorikan, C4-Menganalisis, dan C1-Mengidentifikasi. Kemudian delapan data untuk teks uraian yakni C2-Menjelaskan dan membandingkan, C4-Mengklasifikasi, C3-Menentukan, C2-Mengkategorikan, C3-Menugaskan, C2-Mengkategorikan, C3-Menentukan, dan C6-Menciptakan. Untuk itu dapat ditentukan penyusunan soal objektif dan uraian untuk siswa SMP yaitu menggunakan taksonomi bloom (C2-C4), memperhatikan tingkat bahasa, variasi bentuk soal, kalibrasi dengan kisi-kisi dan KD/TP. Dengan demikian, pada penelitian ini buku teks bahasa Indonesia SMP kelas VIII sudah sesuai dengan taksnomi bloom dan kurikulum.

Abstract

Minyak jelantah merupakan limbah minyak hasil penggunaan rumah tangga yang hingga kini masih belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh sebagian besar masyarakat. Pelaksanaan program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan dan praktik pengolahan minyak jelantah menjadi produk bernilai ekonomis yaitu lilin aromaterapi dan diffuser. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Dusun Jomblangan, Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta dengan sasaran kegiatan adalah Ibu-ibu Perwakilan Dawis. Pelaksanaan program pengabdian masyarakat menggunakan metode Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) atau Pemahaman Partisipatif Kondisi pedesaan (PRA) dengan pelaksanaan pelatihan meliputi: 1) Sosialisasi Dampak Minyak Jelantah dan Pengolahannya menjadi Lilin Aromaterapi dan Diffuser; 2) Praktik Pembuatan Lilin Aromaterapi dan Diffuser dari Minyak Jelantah; 3) Evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi besar bagi ibu-ibu Dawis Dusun Jomblangan dan terbentuk suatu keterampilan baru dalam mengolah minyak jelantah sehingga terbentuk jiwa wirausaha. Pelatihan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam hal peningkatan kesadaran lingkungan, pemberdayaan ekonomi, dan pengembangan keterampilan masyarakat Dusun Jomblangan.

Abstract

The development of digital technology encourages the education sector to use interactive and contextual learning methods. One of the emerging innovations is the use of Augmented Reality (AR) media, which can combine the real world and the online world to support students' understanding in a more concrete and engaging manner. The purpose of this research is to implement media innovation based on Augmented Reality. The results of the use in speaking skills and student responses in learning. In this study, a qualitative descriptive method was used. Data collection techniques included direct observation, interviews, and documentation conducted on seventh-grade students at SMPN 1 Galis as research subjects. Data analysis was carried out through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This research proves that Augmented Reality (AR) media can actively encourage the involvement of seventh-grade students at SMPN 1 Galis and enhance their confidence in speaking. The display of three-dimensional objects through AR makes it easier for students to understand the material and construct sentences more clearly and structured. The use of Augmented Reality (AR) media in speaking skills learning helps students' understanding, encourages their engagement in the learning process, and fosters confidence when speaking.Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong dunia pendidikan untuk menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang interaktif dan kontekstual. Salah satu inovasi yang muncul adalah penggunaan media Augmented Reality (AR) yang mampu menggabungkan dunia nyata dan daring untuk mendukung pemahaman siswa secara lebih konkret dan menarik. Tujuan penelitian ini melaksanakan inovasi media berbasis Augmented Reality. Hasil penggunaan dalam keterampilan berbicara, dan respon siswa dalam pembelajaran. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi langsung, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Galis sebagai subjek penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa media Augmented Reality (AR) mampu mendorong keterlibatan siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Galis secara aktif serta meningkatkan rasa percaya diri mereka dalam berbicara. Tampilan objek tiga dimensi melalui AR mempermudah siswa dalam memahami materi dan menyusun kalimat dengan lebih jelas dan terstruktur. Penggunaan media Augmented Reality (AR) dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara membantu pemahaman siswa, mendorong keterlibatan mereka dalam proses belajar, serta menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri saat berbicara.

Abstract

Digital media such as YouTube are increasingly being used in learning because they can present material in an engaging and contextual manner. This study aims to describe the use of YouTube in teaching speaking skills in eighth-grade students at Darul Iman Junior High School in Pamekasan. The approach used was descriptive qualitative with a case study method, through direct observation and interviews with the Indonesian language teacher and one student. The results showed that watching YouTube videos can increase students' self-confidence, expand vocabulary, and help them understand sentence structure and the content of spoken messages. However, teachers face challenges such as limited internet access, limited facilities, and difficulty in selecting appropriate content. With proper management, YouTube can be used as an effective and enjoyable learning tool to support students' speaking skills. Media digital seperti YouTube semakin banyak dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran karena mampu menyajikan materi secara menarik dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media YouTube dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara di kelas VIII SMP Darul Iman Pamekasan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus, melalui observasi langsung serta wawancara dengan guru Bahasa Indonesia dan satu siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tayangan video YouTube mampu meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa, memperluas penguasaan kosakata, serta membantu memahami struktur kalimat dan isi pesan lisan. Meski demikian, guru menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan akses internet, minimnya fasilitas, serta kesulitan dalam memilih konten yang sesuai. Dengan pengelolaan yang tepat, media YouTube dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang efektif dan menyenangkan dalam mendukung keterampilan berbicara siswa.

Abstract

The digitisation of education, such as the Chromebook procurement programme by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, is an important indicator of the readiness of educational units to face the challenges of the 21st century. However, the lack of innovation among teachers in utilising this technology has resulted in low student learning outcomes. Therefore, this study aims to review the literature on the development of interactive media on the human digestive system (Si CerMa) to improve the learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students in science. The research method used in this study is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Data collection was carried out by documenting articles published in the last five years. A total of 20 accredited national and international journal articles obtained from Google Scholar, SINTA, and DOAJ were used in this study. The results showed that Si CerMa media, which contains learning outcomes and objectives, materials and videos, student worksheets based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL), evaluations, and educational games, can significantly improve student learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study is that the interactive Si CerMa media is effective and suitable for use in primary school learning to improve learning outcomes, with the main features being developer profiles, learning outcomes and objectives, material on the human digestive system and its functions, evaluation, and edugames.

Abstract

Early reading is an important basic skill for students. Early reading is the main foundation that influences subsequent reading ability. This study aims to describe the difficulties of early reading in second grade students at SDN 1 Kedungwuluh, the factors that cause difficulties in early reading, and the efforts made by teachers to overcome difficulties in early reading. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The sample consists of 18 students in Class II B of SDN 1 Kedungwuluh, selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study indicate that: (1) six students experienced early reading difficulties, namely (a) difficulty recognizing letters, (b) omission or substitution, (c) difficulty spelling, (d) adding letters, and (e) reversing letters; (2) the factors causing reading difficulties were (1) psychological factors, (2) family environment factors, and (3) to overcome early reading difficulties, the following measures were taken: (a) teachers providing reading guidance programs, (b) using the SAS method. This study concluded that the involvement of teachers, parents, and students is necessary through the implementation of appropriate strategies and continuous support.Membaca permulaan merupakan keterampilan dasar yang penting bagi siswa. Membaca permulaan menjadi fondasi utama yang memengaruhi kemampuan membaca selanjutnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas II B SDN 1 Kedungwuluh, faktor penyebab yang mempengaruhi kesulitan membaca permulaan, dan upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca permulaan. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sswa kelas II B SDN 1 Kedungwuluh yang berjumlah 6 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan model Miles and Huberman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: siswa mengalami kesulitan membaca permulaan, yaitu kurang mengenali huruf, penghilangan atau penggantian, kesulitan mengeja, penambahan huruf dan pembalikkan huruf; faktor penyebab kesulitan membaca yaitu faktor psikologis dan faktor lingkungan keluarga; untuk mengatasi kesulitan membaca permulaan antara lain: guru memberikan program bimbingan membaca, menggunakan metode SAS. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan memerlukan keterlibatan guru, orang tua, dan siswa melalui penerapan strategi yang tepat serta dukungan yang terus-menerus.
