Abstract

The low level of thinking ability of elementary school students is one of the problems that need to be considered. This study aims to know the influence of finger puppet media on students' high level of thinking ability in elementary school. The method used is a quarquis of nonequivalent control group design experiments. The population in this study was fourth grader in one of bandung elementary school which numbered 47 students and divided into two classes, namely experimental class and control class. The results showed there was a significant difference between posttest experiment class and control class. From these results it can be concluded that finger puppet media has a significant influence on students' high level of thinking ability in elementary school. Thus, students get meaningful learning and teachers get learning media that is able to improve students' high level of thinking ability which is assessed from the ability to analyze, which includes 3 indicators, namely determining the theme, determining the main idea, and determining the content of the story message.

Abstract

The era disruption carrying a lot of changes, both from field of social, culture, economic and education. In the field education in the face of the disruption, educators must be able to develop four skills, namely communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. Teachers and prospective educators need to develop critical thinking skills by using learning strategies. So we need a method which appropriated with developing of critical thinking skills. Aims of study are describe concept of Research Based Learning (RBL), concept of critical thinking skills, and relationship of RBL and critical thinking skills. The results of Research Based Learning (RBL) can improve critical thinking skills because in this learning method uses authentic learning, problem-solving, cooperative learning, contextual (hands on & minds on) and inquiry-discovery approaches.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada operasi penjumlahan bilangan bulat dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan: 1) peneliti memberikan soal pre test; 2) peneliti melaksanakan tindakan model pembelajaran NHT; 3) siswa diberikan soal post test; 4) peneliti merefleksi kegiatan penelitian untuk perbaikan siklus selanjutnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil pre testĀ  ketuntasan belajar siswa hanya mencapai 29% dengan rata-rata skor 53,33. Siklus I dan siklus II memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I mencapai 67% dengan rata-rata skor 72,38. Siklus II mencapai 95% dengan rata-rata skor 90,48. Peningkatan rata-rata skor hasil belajar siswa mencapai 18,1 poin. Berdasarkan data peningkatan dari setiap siklus, pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada operasi penjumlahan bilangan bulat di Kelas IVĀ  SDN Sindangheula Kecamatan Cibalong Kabupaten Tasikmalaya Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes on clean and healthy living materials at home in grade II elementary schools with the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on google meet. The research conducted was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of one meeting. The stages of each cycle are planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Each meeting is carried out with a knowledge assessment and attitude assessment to determine the development of students. In cycle I students who completed after carrying out the post test were 33%. In cycle II participants students who completed after carrying out the post test were 89%. These results indicate that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of students in theme 4 living clean and healthy in Class II homes at SDN 2 Gringgingsari.

Abstract

Supervision is part of school-based management. The implementation of supervision, especially in the field of academics is very important to see the shortcomings of the implementation of learning, in order to always try to improve the quality of education.The purpose of this study to explain the implementation of supervision in primary schools.This study uses descriptive-qualitative research methods. Principals conduct academic supervision of teachers every month. Principals always give feedback to teachers after seeing the implementation of learning to always improve the quality of education. Academic supervision on the performance of teachers in the learning process is very important for teachers to always innovate in the implementation of learning to improve the quality of education in the face of disruption era.

Abstract

This article describes efforts to improve mathematics learning achievement through the make a match learning model for grade III students of SD Negeri Brebeg 01 in the 2020/2021 learning year. This study uses two cycles. Where each cycle begins with planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results of this study were that in cycle 1 there was an increase in pre-cycle, 65.52% of students completed and in cycle 2 there was an increase from cycle 1, 86.94% of students completed from 23 students. These results indicate that the make a match learning model can improve student achievement in determining the place value of a number in class III SD Negeri Brebeg 01.

Abstract

The implementation of the curriculum 2013 at the primary and secondary education levels is carried out in order to equip students with complete competencies to face challenges in the 21st century. Therefore, such conditions become special challenges for teachers to prepare superior human resources through the development of literacy and high order thinking skills. This study provides an overview of the development of literacy competence and high order thinking skills in the curriculum 2013 implementation. The results of the study show that literacy competence and higher order thinking skills are demands of the curriculum 2013 development, in which the development is carried out through a learning process that puts students active in scientific work through problem solving activities and involving students in reading habitual activities through school literacy movements.

Abstract

This study aims to perceptions and responses to flood disaster risk reduction social media in Pasar Kliwon District, Surakarta City, 2020. Utilization of whatsapp social media as a means of delivering information to the public in an effort to reduce disaster risk flooding in Pasar Kliwon Subdistrict, Surakarta City, 2020. the impact of the use of whatsapp social media as a means of delivering information on community efforts to reduce the risk of flood disasters in Pasar Kliwon District, Surakarta.The results of the study are as follows: Perception of flood disaster in Pasar Kliwon Subdistrict, if viewed from the potential of the disaster, it can be categorized as very large. For flood disaster vulnerability is also categorized as flood disaster prone. And disaster mitigation is carried out in the form of responsiveness and preparedness from stakeholders. Here the use of social media as a means of delivering flood disaster information.
