Abstract

Education is a whole series of activities held by educators for students on all aspects of the development of student’s potential to achieve the goal. Educational objectives can be achieved through learning activities that are able to build and develop students' knowledge as a whole. Including in Indonesian learning. There are four skills in Indonesia language learning that must be developed, namely reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. The purpose of this study is to describe 1. Whole language approach, 2. Implementation of a Whole language approach in Indonesia language learning. The results of this study are: (1) Whole language is a language learning approach based on constructivism. Whole language is implemented contextually, logically, chronologically, communicatively, and intact so students can see language as a whole; (2) The implementation of the Whole language approach in Indonesian language learning is combining reading, listening, writing and speaking.

Abstract

As a basis for the formation of children's behavior, parents need appropriate parenting to educate their children. One parenting that has a good impact on elementary school age children is democratic parenting. This article is structured with the aim of describing the basic concepts of democratic parenting and their impact on elementary school age children. This study uses the literature study method using journals and other relevant sources. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Democratic parenting is a parenting that gives freedom to children to act according to their wishes within the limits of the rules set and agreed upon between parents and children; (2) Democratic parenting has a good impact on elementary school age children such as emotional intelligence, student creativity, and discipline.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to improve pantun writing skill through Cooperative Learning Model of Concept Sentence in the fourth grade one of Elementary School in Surakarta the academic year 2017/2018. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research which consists of three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were grade IV teacher and 21 IV graders one of Elementary School in Surakarta the academic year 2017/2018. The data collection techniques are conducted through interview, observation, test, and documentation. The data validity uses content validity, source triangulation, and technical triangulation. The data were analyzed by comparative descriptive technique and interactive analysis model, consisting of three steps, namely data collection, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The result of research shows the improvement applying of Cooperative Learning Model of Concept Sentence was able to improve pantun writing skill the fourth grade one of Elementary School in Surakarta the academic year of 2017/2018.

Abstract

This research attempts to find the effectiveness of using cartoons as medium for student’s listening. By using Classroom Action Research with Kemmis and McTaggart style, the performed steps of research are planning, action implementation, and observation, also reflection. The research is conducted in two cycles. The research results in the student's initial capability test that is completed 50%. Later the action implementation discovers that the student’s results in listening to stories is about 66.67% completed. Then through the post-test, the 2nd cycle of the research shows that the student’s results in listening to stories is about 98% done.Based on the comparison of those result numbers, it would be expressed that the post-test result in 2nd cycle is experiencing completeness in the study results of students. Using cartoon media in listening to lesson to stories will be able to increase the study result of students of class IV SDIT Al-Anwar.

Abstract

The pandemic that hit the country of Indonesia brought changes in all sectors. Including the world of education. Face-to-face learning is forced to shift to distance learning. This is a challenge for educators and students. Especially for educators, creativity is required in distance learning. The pandemic that occurred in the 21st century demands that teachers be more professional, must not be blind to technology, and must be able to apply and adapt technology in learning. The fact is that not all teachers are technology literate. Therefore it is necessary to conduct training or increase in technology-based teaching competencies. The focus of this study is: 1) The concept and function of Microsoft office 365 in learning; (2) the use of Microsoft Forms and Sway in teaching at Jatiluhur 3 elementary school. The results of the study include: (1) Microsoft Office 365 has various features that are very supportive of learning; (2) The six teachers at Jatiluhur 3 elementary school have used Microsoft Office 365 with the Microsoft form and sway features.

Abstract

Professionalism of lecturers in the form kartakter when it becomes very important for implanted. The lecturer was cast in gold generation nation Indonesia and relay the leadership of the nation and the State. The professionalism of the lecturer continually formed and conditioned on environment of the College and the community. Literacy innovation in science and technology are becoming a must-have capability of professional lecturers, given the current has entered the digital age. Professionalism lecturer always should be improved and developed in order to face the challenges of global human resources and setting up a reliable, resilient, and character.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe: (1) the type of errors made by the 3rd graders of Elementary School in Mathematics Basic Competency Test, (2) the cause of error made by the 3rd graders of Elementary School in Mathematics Basic Competency Test. This study was qualitative research. The subject of research was consisted of 3rd graders and teachers of Banyumudal cluster Elementary School, Kebumen Sub District in school year of 2018/2019. Techniques of collecting data used were test, interview, observation, and document. Data analysis was conducted using qualitative analysis involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results of research were as follows (1) Type of errors made the 3rd graders of elementary school in Mathematics Basic Competency Test were: (a) numbers, (b) money, (c) geometry, (d) measurement;  (2) The causes of error made by the 3rd graders of elementary school  are understanding poorly: (a) the name and the symbol of numbers, (b) the order of numbers pattern, (c) place value, (d) the subtraction, multiplication, and division of numbers, (e) mixed count algorithm, (f) the concept of fraction, (g) the conversion of currency, (h) the concept of area, (i) the measurement of length, width, and time.

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the low learning outcomes of class II SD Negeri Wanutunggal. The method that researchers use in this classroom action research. The subjects in this study were students of class II SD Negeri Wanutunggal which consisted of 26 students. Data were collected by researchers through observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The results showed that: 1) The application of the CTL model can increase the activities of teachers and students. In the results of observations of teacher activity in cycle I, namely 72.52, and increased to 90.32 in cycle II. While the results of observations of student activity in the first cycle were 70.83, and increased to 91.7 in the second cycle. 2) The increase in student learning outcomes can be seen from the average score of students in Indonesian subjects in the first cycle of 72.7 with a percentage of 69.23%, in the second cycle it was 78.4, with a percentage of 80.8%. In mathematics subjects also experienced an increase, namely in the first cycle of 69.5, with a percentage of 57.7%, in the second cycle it became 77 with a percentage of 80.76%.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPS dilakukan untuk membentuk metal siswa agar siap dalam menghadapi lingkungan sosialnya, khusunya di era digita yang saat ini sangat pesat. Era dimana manusia secara umum memiliki gaya hidup baru yang tidak bisa dilepaskan dari perangkat yang serba elektronik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran IPS menggunakan multimedia pada era digital pada tiga SD di Kecamatan Kebumen. Pembelajaran yang dirasa membosankan bagi siswa ini memerlukan sebuah inovasi guna tercapainya sebuah kompetensi IPS. Penggunaan media pada pembelajaran dapat menjadi salah satu alternatifnya. Media yang digunakan adalah multimedia, yang berarti dalam sebuah pembelajaran, menggunakan beberapa media yang berbeda-beda. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi partisipasi pasif dan didukung oleh dokumen yang terkait. Secara ringkas, respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia dapat menumbuhkan motivasi siswa dalam mencapai sebuah kompetensi.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in estimating the total price of goods through the kahoot application. This research is a classroom action research conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research was conducted on the second grade students of SD Negeri Margasari 07 with a total of 20 students. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Margasari 07, Margasari District, Tegal Regency. When the study was conducted from October to November 2020. The results showed that student learning outcomes in estimating the total price of goods had increased. This can be seen from the average value of learning outcomes in the first cycle of 74 up to 80 in the second cycle. And in the third cycle the average value rose to 85. The number of students who completed the first cycle was 70%, in the second cycle it increased to 85% and in the third cycle it became 95%. So it can be concluded that using the Kahoot application can improve the learning outcomes of grade II SD Negeri Margasar 07 in estimating the total price of goods.
