Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of carbon emission disclosure and Material Flow Cost Accounting (MFCA) on financial performance, with intellectual capital as a moderating variable, for transportation equipment industry companies listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange during 2021-2023. Using purposive sampling, 27 companies were selected, resulting in 81 observations over three years. The research adopts a causal, quantitative approach, with data sourced from financial and sustainability reports. Analysis included descriptive statistics, classical assumption testing, and hypothesis testing (Coefficient of Determination, t-test, multiple linear regression, and moderated regression analysis). The findings indicate that carbon emission disclosure significantly affects financial performance, while MFCA does not have a significant effect. However, intellectual capital moderates the relationship between carbon emission disclosure and MFCA on financial performance.

Abstract

This research seeks to examine how profitability, liquidity, leverage, and dividend policy influence a company's value. A quantitative approach is employed as the research methodology. The study focuses on sharia-compliant stocks listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) between 2020 and 2023. A purposive sampling method was utilized, resulting in a total sample of 108 sharia stocks. Data analysis was conducted using the SPSS software. The findings indicate that profitability, liquidity, and leverage each have a significant impact on company value, whereas dividend policy does not contribute to changes in company value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of live streaming and discounts on consumer purchasing decisions, with positive emotions as a mediating variable, in the context of purchasing Erigo products at TikTok Shop. The research method used is quantitative with a Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. Data were collected through an online questionnaire with a Likert scale and analyzed using a structural model. The results showed that live streaming and discounts had a significant effect on purchasing decisions. In addition, positive emotions are shown to mediate the relationship between the two independent variables and purchasing decisions, which means that a positive experience when watching live streaming or getting a discount increases the likelihood of consumers making a purchase. These findings provide insights for businesses in designing more effective digital marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation and competence on job satisfaction of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the Staffing Agency and Human Resources Development of Sigi Regency. This research uses quantitative methods with saturated sampling techniques, where the entire population of 53 employees is sampled. The results showed that simultaneously compensation and competence had a significant effect on job satisfaction with a value of Fcount = 19,330 and a significance of 0.000 <0.05. Partially, compensation has a significant effect on job satisfaction with a regression coefficient of 0.627 and a significance value of 0.010 <0.05. Competence also has a significant effect on job satisfaction with a regression coefficient of 0.834 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The determination test results show an R-Square value of 43.6%, which means that job satisfaction is influenced by compensation and competence by 43.6%, while the rest is influenced by other factors not examined.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of financial literacy and lifestyle on personal financial management of Sidoarjo students, considering consumption behavior as a mediating variable. To do this, quantitative methods were used, specifically targeting Sidoarjo university students. Data were collected using questionnaires, using purposive sampling techniques in non-probability sampling. Financial literacy, lifestyle, and consumptive behavior variables directly affect financial management. Financial literacy variables mediated by consumptive behavior also impact financial management. However, lifestyle variables mediated by consumptive behavior do not affect financial management. The mediating effect of financial literacy variables on financial management through consumption behavior is high. On the other hand, lifestyle variables have no impact on consumption behavior and the mediation effect is weak.

Abstract

Digital technology advancements have significantly changed the e-commerce industry, particularly with the advent of interactive services like live streaming on TikTok. This studys aims to determine whether live streaming, flash sales, and double days promotions have a direct effect on consumer impulse purchases at TikTok Shop. This study employs a quantitative methodology. A total of 180 respondents who are active TikTok Shop users in Sidoarjo have filled out a questionnaire to provide data, which was then analyzed using SPSS. In this study, it was found that Live Streaming variable has no influence on Impulsive Buying. This is because live streaming is not strong enough to drive impulse purchases without attractive promotions. On the other hand, the Double Days Promotion and Flash Sale variables have a positive and significant effect on Impulsive Buying. This proves that flash sales and urgency-based promotional tactics can stimulate impulse purchases. These results provide insight for marketers to optimize promotional strategies on TikTok Shop to increase sales conversions.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM), digital marketing, and social media content quality on brand awareness. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing a questionnaire survey of 100 consumers. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed a significant and positive relationship between each independent variable (e-WOM, digital marketing, and social media content quality) and the dependent variable (brand awareness). The findings suggest that company management should adopt strategic measures to enhance brand image, thereby fostering positive e-WOM. This can be achieved by consistently maintaining and improving product quality, increasing product reliability through strengthened production and logistics systems, and providing excellent after-sales service.

Abstract

Impulsive buying behavior in e-commerce is increasing among Generation Z, especially in Surabaya. This study aims to analyze the influence of Big Five Personality : Agreeableness, conscientiousness, extroversion, neuroticism, and openness to experience on impulsive behavior in online shopping. This study involved 170 Generation Z e-commerce users from Surabaya, using a quantitative purposive sampling approach. The study shows that agreeableness and neuroticism have a significant positive effect on impulsive buying, while conscientiousness has a negative impact. Meanwhile, extroversion and openness to experience do not show a significant effect on impulsive buying behavior. The results indicate that personality plays an important role in determining the tendency to make impulsive purchases in e-commerce.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality, key opinion leader strategy, and digital promotion on consumer repurchase intention in the context of digital business. In the era of digital transformation, companies increasingly rely on technology-based marketing strategies and social media to retain customers and increase repeat purchases. Two hundred people who have shopped online are surveyed for this quantitative study. Multiple linear regression techniques were employed for the data analysis. Concurrently, the data demonstrated that digital promotion, Key Opinion Leader approach, and service quality all significantly impact repurchase intention. One of the most important factors in determining whether or not a customer will buy from a company again is the key opinion leader approach. The results demonstrate the significant impact that public figures' trust and influence can have on consumers' perceptions and decisions. By emphasizing the importance of service quality and collaborating with relevant key opinion leaders, this study offers practical implications for online business actors looking to build efficient marketing strategies.
