KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah was first published in April 2013 in printed and online form published since 30 April 2018 by Department of Non Formal Education, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Padang. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah equipped with ISSN (p): 2354-693X and ISSN (e): 2655-3163, published twice a year in April and October. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah education contains articles from research and/ or analytical-critical in the field non-formal education specifically edult education study, community education, training and development of human resources, counseling, and community development. The spesification purpose are intended to explore, develop and explain the knowladge of history, philosophy, principles, policies, designs, and technologies that are used and developed in non-formal education services. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah have a role and participates in efforts to support the preservation of scientific traditions derived from the theoretical study of researchers and the practical experience of education practitioners.

Abstract

This research aims to equip students at PKBM Anak Panah Surabaya to have skills and entrepreneurship. By generating interest in business from an early age, it is hoped that it can prepare students to be independent. Learn to develop a business by using digital media as a marketing medium so that students are able to sell food and drinks. This research uses qualitative research methods by collecting data from participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of this research are that the digital marketing training that has been carried out at PKBM Anak Panah plays an important role in shaping students' attitudes and interest in entrepreneurship. First, by having good knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurship, students can broaden their horizons and knowledge related to the world of business and entrepreneurship. Apart from fostering interest in entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship subjects for students at PKBM Anak Panah also have benefits in improving student learning achievement. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a better understanding of online business optimization and interest in food and beverage businesses at PKBM Anak Panah.

Abstract

This study investigates the quality improvement strategy for the Equivalency Education Program Package C at PKBM Al-Islah Bakeong, Guluk-Guluk District, Sumenep Regency, Madura. The qualitative research method was employed, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis to gather comprehensive data. The findings indicate that the management of the Package C Equivalency Education Program at PKBM Al-Islah has not yet reached an advanced level of educational quality. This is evidenced by various supporting and hindering factors in both management and the teaching and learning methods used. Supporting factors include the commitment of the management team to develop an educated and skilled community. However, the program faces significant obstacles, such as low community awareness of PKBM's existence and function, limited facilities, and restricted business units managed by PKBM. Further challenges in improving the quality of education include societal indifference towards education's importance and insufficient support from the local government, both morally and materially. Most learners come from lower-middle-class backgrounds with limited economic resources, which affects their ability to provide necessary learning materials, thereby placing the burden on PKBM to supply and facilitate these needs. The quality improvement strategies implemented by PKBM Al-Islah include stimulating learning motivation, enhancing the provision of infrastructure, and gradually developing teaching methods. Despite these efforts, ongoing challenges highlight the need for greater community and government support to ensure the program's success and sustainability.

Abstract

Community empowerment through local resource-based training is a strategic effort to enhance skills and economic independence, particularly in rural areas. This training program aims to utilize locally available resources, such as natural materials and agricultural products, to create high-value-added products. By involving the community in the learning and production process, the training can improve individual capacities and strengthen the local economy. Additionally, the use of local materials promotes environmental sustainability by reducing reliance on imported or environmentally harmful materials. Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, the world of education is undergoing significant changes that require tutors to master content andragogy technology. Adult learners have unique characteristics compared to children, such as rich life experiences, family and work responsibilities, and different motivations for learning. Therefore, training in content andragogy technology is crucial for tutors to design and deliver material that is relevant, flexible, and tailored to the needs of adult learners. This technology enables the use of interactive and engaging digital tools that can enhance learning engagement and motivation. Additionally, such training helps tutors develop the digital skills of learners, which are highly necessary in today's workforce. Technology also enables increased accessibility and flexibility in learning, allowing learners to study anytime and anywhere. Collaboration and communication between tutors and learners, as well as among the learners themselves, can be enhanced through online platforms and digital collaboration tools. With a deep understanding of content andragogy technology, tutors can create more effective, efficient, and engaging learning experiences, helping adult learners better achieve their learning goals.

Abstract

Kampoeng Batik Jetis Sidoarjo is the center of the handmade batik industry in Sidoarjo city. The purpose of this study was to determine the existence of Kampoeng Batik Jetis and its impact on the socio-economic life of the Jetis Sidoarjo community. Approach This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods so that data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study using 3 stages including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that most batik craftsmen use personal capital to run this batik business. The development of the batik industry in Kampoeng Batik Jetis from year to year is quite stable despite the many ups and downs in market share but the craftsmen still maintain their existence. The existence of the Kampoeng Batik Jetis industrial center has a positive impact in social and economic terms for the surrounding community. In social terms, for example, the development of tourism and increased awareness and welfare of the community. In terms of economy, it has an impact on employment, business opportunities, and encourages the growth of other sectors such as trade and services.

Abstract

Abstracts must be factual and concise. Must By broadening the scope, the aim of this research is to find innovative and sustainable solutions to the challenges faced by drug abusers and rehabilitation institutions in the process of assisting the rehabilitation of drug abusers. In addition, this research also seeks to provide practical guidance for practitioners in designing rehabilitation programmes with the concept of Therapeutic Community that are effective in helping drug-dependent individuals become fully recovered. This research uses a qualitative approach, an assessment of an event, a view of the world, an opportunity to use a theory, and collect data from the meaning of individuals or groups related to social or human problems. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of the therapeutic community concept in drug rehabilitation assistance has had a positive impact in empowering communities in Indonesia. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga berusaha untuk menyediakan panduan praktis bagi para praktisi dalam mendesain program rehabilitasi dengan konsep Therapeutic Community yang efektif guna membantu individu yang ketergantungan NAPZA menjadi sepenuhnya pulih. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penaksiran dari suatu kejadian, pandangan tentang dunia, kesempatan penggunaan suatu teori, dan mengumpulkan data dari makna individu atau kelompok yang berkaitan dengan masalah sosial atau manusia. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan konsep therapeutic community dalam pendampingan rehabilitasi NAPZA telah memberikan dampak positif dalam memberdayakan komunitas di Indonesia. Melalui pendampingan spiritual, sosial, pelatihan kecakapan hidup, dan kelompok, penyalahguna NAPZA mendapatkan dukungan yang holistik.Kata Kunci: Therapeutic Community, Pendampingan Rehabilitasi NAPZA, Memberdayakan Komunitas.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the Adiwiyata program in shaping pro-environmental attitudes in elementary school students. The urgent need for effective environmental education to raise awareness from an early age motivated this research. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and a multisite study design, data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The research sample consisted of three elementary schools that have implemented the Adiwiyata program: SDIT Ahmad Yani, SDN Percobaan 2, and SDN Lowokwaru 2. Data analysis was conducted using cross-site analysis and data validity was guaranteed through triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of the Adiwiyata program through initiatives such as the formation of wiyata cadres, waste management, and environmentally friendly activities succeeded in increasing students' awareness and participation in protecting the environment. Factors such as physical readiness, administration, aligned vision and mission, educators' involvement, as well as school community support are critical to the success of this program. This study concludes that a gradual and experiential learning approach can improve students' understanding and involvement in environmental conservation. The study suggests improving the school's green infrastructure, continuous training for educators, strengthening student engagement through interactive activities, school policy support, regular evaluation of the program, and collaboration with the community. Implementation of these recommendations is expected to strengthen the effectiveness of the Adiwiyata program and expand its impact on education.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe numeracy literacy in learning themes in early childhood and strategies for learning numeracy literacy in early childhood. This research was conducted through literature study. The object of this research is numeracy and thematic literacy in early childhood. Numeracy literacy is not the same as mathematics competency, both are based on the same knowledge and skills, but there are differences that lie in the empowerment of knowledge and skills. The data collection tool in this research is by searching for journals in several electronic media such as digital libraries, the internet, via Google Scholar. The data analysis technique used in this research is annotated bibliographic analysis. The results of the research show that numeracy literacy in thematic learning in early childhood can be done by providing stimuli to children. This aims to stimulate students' curiosity supported by the availability of facilities and infrastructure, the capacity of the school community, and the capacity of stakeholders. There needs to be a policy related to the literacy work program on numeracy twice a week before learning time takes place where mathematics and non-mathematics teachers are trained, so that it fosters a love of reading in students and a learning experience that is both fun and stimulates the imagination.

Abstract

 translator This research investigates the effectiveness of the independent curriculum with the Pancasila student profile in developing students' critical thinking skills in Indonesia. His background emphasizes the importance of preparing students with relevant competencies for today's needs. Quantitative methods were used by collecting data through tests and questionnaires on SDIT Ahmad Yani students in Malang. The results of data analysis show that overall, the Pancasila student profile and mathematics learning achievement make a significant contribution to students' critical thinking abilities. Simultaneously, these two variables together explain around 24.1% of the variation in students' critical thinking abilities. Individually, the Pancasila student profile and mathematics learning achievement each make a significant contribution to students' critical thinking abilities. The conclusion of this research confirms that an approach using the Pancasila student profile and increasing mathematics learning achievement can help in developing students' critical thinking skills at school. Suggestions for this research include further intervention development based on these findings as well as comparative research to test the generalizability of these results to broader school populations with similar or different characteristics. This research provides important insights for curriculum and education development in Indonesia, especially in strengthening aspects of critical thinking skills as an integral part of Pancasila education.

Abstract

This research aims to explore how the Digital Skills Training Program at PKBM Permata Bangsa Surabaya improves the digital skills of Package C Equality Program students. The research method used is a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research results showed that out of a total of 100 training participants, 70% succeeded in obtaining a certificate after attending training regularly, while the remaining 30% were unable to participate in training consistently. The training material presented includes Problems and Innovation, Digital Literacy, Content Creation, Social Media, Digital Marketing, and Web Application Creation. However, there are still obstacles to participation, especially those related to busy work and a lack of support from participants' parents. However, the participants' enthusiasm after the training remained high, especially in applying the skills they learned.
