Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa banyak yang mengalami kesulitan pada saat pembelajaran online, hal tersebut menyebabkan tingkat berpikir kritis mahasiswa rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan  kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran blended learning yang diintegrasikan dengan pendekatan STEM. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian ini adalah kelas 4A Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo Tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Obyek penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan pembelajaran menggunakan blended learning yang diintegrasikan dengan STEM. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran Blended Learning yang diintegrasikan dengan pendekatan STEM  dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa kelas 4A pada mata kuliah Statistika Matematika. Mahasiswa mampu merumuskan pokok-pokok permasalahan, mengungkap fakta yang dibutuhkan dalam menyelesaikan suatu masalah, memilih argumen argument logis, relevan, dan akurat, mendeteksi bias berdasarkan sudut pandang yang berbeda, serta menentukan akibat dari suatu pernyataan yang diambil sebagai suatu keputusan.Kata Kunci: Blended Learning; STEM;  berpikir kritis

Abstract

This study aims to identify the needs of students in the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts, Jakarta State University for data science skills and their integration into learning writing skills. The research was conducted in June 2022 at Jakarta State University's Arabic Language Education Study Program. The study sample consisted of 30 students. The data collection technique used in this needs analysis is a survey technique. A questionnaire was used as a research tool, which was compiled and distributed via the Google form platform. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the results of the validity and reliability test, it was determined that the questionnaire used for data collection had valid and reliable items. The results of the data analysis show that the majority of students need and desire the teaching of data science skills that are integrated into learning Arabic writing skills.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze teachers’ extrinsic motivation in teaching and learning process. This research was descriptive research. In this research, this research used participant as the sample, the participant of this research was all of English teachers in SMA Negeri 4 Kota Solok. This research, the used three instruments to find the data, they are questionnaire, interview, and field-note. There are some results of this research; it can be concluded that teacher’s extrinsic motivation: first, the participants’ response, they were allowed to work independently, their school environment was conducive and it make them be comfortable. Second, the participants enjoy with their work, they were satisfied with their job, and they have good relationship with their manager and their students. Third, the participants were satisfied with their fringe benefits, they were satisfied with current salary, they had a job in which they could perform to the best their ability, and they would like to receive more feedback about their teaching from their manager and supervisor. Fourth, the participants would like rules and procedures at work to be clearer, the course material that they use offers variety in terms of activities and task, and they would like more involvement in the process of setting their students’ learning goal. Keyword: teaching and learning process, motivation, extrinsic motivation

Abstract

 The purpose of this reseach is to know the principle of edupreneurship according to the Islamic perspertive. The reseach method that the author uses is qualitative-descriptive with a library research approach. The data collection technique here is documentation. that the principles of edupreneurship in the view of Islam are to optimize the various potentials possessed in order to produce scientific added value as well as relevant economic added value in the field of Islamic education. Islamic edupreneurship will develop students' habits in entrepreneurship to remain creative and innovative, such as writing books according to their respective interests and fields, or carrying out other activities that can provide added value economically. As a result, it will bring students to change who initially as users then turn into producers. The results of the research from the principle of edupreneurship according to this Islamic perspective are self-confidence, initiative in an energetic sense, focus on tasks and results, far-sighted, leadership spirit, dare to take risks, calculating, communicative, reflective, originality, innovative, creative, flexible. wise in making policies and decisions. Keywords: Edupreneurship, Islam

Abstract

AbstractThis study was conducted to describe the type of abbreviation, describe the origin of the abbreviation, and explain the process of abbreviation in the Jambi Ekspres Online daily. The object of this research is all the words contained in the daily rubric of Jambi Ekspres Online. Data collection is done by documentation technique. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are five types of abbreviations, namely abbreviations, acronyms, contractions, fragments, and letter symbols. There are three forms of abbreviation origin, namely words, personal names and noun phrases. Abbreviation process found as many as three processes, namely preservation of letters with six variants in the form of preservation of the first letter of each component, preservation of the first letter by eliminating conjunctions, preservation of the first letter and the last diphthong, preservation of the first letter with numbers when repeated, perpetuation of various letters that are difficult to formulate, preservation of the first letter of the compound component.Keywords: abbreviation, original form, abbreviation process.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis abreviasi, mendeskripsikan bentuk asal abreviasi, dan menjelaskan proses abreviasi dalam harian Jambi Ekspres Online. Objek penelitian ini adalah semua kata yang terdapat dalam rubrik harian Jambi Ekspres Online. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa jenis abreviasi terdapat lima bentuk, yaitu singkatan, akronim, kontraksi, penggalan, dan lambang huruf. Bentuk asal abreviasi yang ditemukan sebanyak tiga bentuk, yaitu kata, nama diri dan frasa nomina. Proses abreviasi yang ditemukan sebanyak tiga proses, yaitu pengekalan huruf dengan enam varian berupa pengekalan pengekalan huruf pertama tiap komponen, pengekalan huruf pertama dengan pelesapan konjungsi, pengekalan huruf pertama dan diftong terakhir, pengekalan huruf pertama dengan bilangan bila berulang, pengekalan berbagai huruf yang sukar dirumuskan, pengekalan huruf pertama dari komponen gabungan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development procedure and feasibility level of project based learning worksheets on Electrolyte and Non-Electrolyte Materials for the Tenth Grade High School Students. The study was conducted at SMAS St. Gabriel Maumere and SMAK St. Petrus Kewapante.  This type of research was in the form of research and development by following the Borg and Gall model. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets and feasibility questionnaires. The subjects in this study who involved in the first phase of the trial were 10 students of class X MIA with one chemistry teacher. The second phase of the trial were 30 students of class X MIA with two chemistry teacher, and the trial were 60 students of class X MIA and involved two chemistry teacher. The results showed  that project based learning Worksheets development was feasible  to be used in chemistry learning.

Abstract

Pentingnya fungsi guru tidak terpengaruh oleh pergeseran paradigma pembelajaran. Agar siswa dapat secara aktif mengembangkan potensi dirinya, tugas penting guru adalah mengolah informasi dalam lingkungan yang menyenangkan yang sengaja diciptakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa melalui media pembelajaran audio visual. Metode penelitian kualitatif adalah proses sistematis yang dimulai dengan identifikasi masalah yang berfokus pada tujuan penelitian, mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data, dan diakhiri dengan proses penyajian temuan penelitian. Darihasilpenelitianiniditemukan bahwa peran guru sebagai instruktur, sebagai motivator dan sebagai fasilitator dalam meningkatkan aktifitas siswa dalam media pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan memberikan siswa sikap adil dalam menggunakan media, memiliki mental yang kuat saat menghadapi siswa yang diajar, memiliki pengetahuan yang mendalam tentang efektif mendidik siswa

Abstract

The goal to be achieved in this study is to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the case method (case-solving-based learning) in terms of students' collaborative abilities. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with the research subjects used as many as 29 PGSD students at the University of Mataram. The instrument of this research used a questionnaire on student collaborative abilities totaling 25 statements with a Likert scale of 1 to 4. The questionnaire was given to students twice, namely before and after learning using the case method. The data analysis technique in this study is the normality test as a prerequisite test, the t-test to determine the difference in the average pretest and posttest collaborative questionnaires, and the N-Gain score test to conclude. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the case method is effective in terms of students' collaborative abilities.Keywords: case method, collaborative ability.

Abstract

Reading is one of many ways to get information, where people can find it from television and internet. As reading dominates all activities in the English subject, the language components,namely pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary should also be learnt to support the language skills. Based on the English teacher interview result that authentic reading materials have never been used by the teachers, reading comprehension on the eighth grade students of junior high school of SMP Swasta Mma Uisu Medan so it was necessary to conduct a research in this school. The research design was quasi experimental. It began from conducting homogeneity test, deciding the experimental class and the control class, giving activities to the control class using the common technique and material usually applied by the English teacher and treatments to the experimental class that was using authentic materials in teaching reading, then giving the same post-test to both classes, and the last analyzing the results of the post test by using t-test. The result of this research The analysis of the post test results showed that there was a significant effect of using English authentic that of reading materials the experimental class got higher mean score than the control class (65, 1>57, 5) of the students’ reading achievement. Then, the result of data analysis using SPSS showed that the t-test value (2-tailed) 0.000, was less than 0.05.is expected to provide useful information for the English teacher to use interesting materials, that is, authentic materials in the English teaching learning process, especially in teaching reading comprehension, since the authentic materials have never been used at SMP Swasta Mma Uisu Medan. Key Words : Authentic Materials, reading, comprehension.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the interest of Economic Education FEB UNM students to become teachers and Field Experience Practice (PPL) on teaching readiness as teachers. Quantitative approaches such as observation, questionnaires, and documentation are used in this study. 44 participants were selected for the study, and their responses were evaluated using multiple linear regression. The results of the study found that partially interest in becoming a teacher had no effect on readiness to become a teacher. While the practice of field experience (PPL) partially has a positive and significant influence on readiness to become a teacher. Simultaneously interest in becoming a teacher (X1) and field introduction practice (X2) economic education students FEB UNM have a positive and significant influence on the teaching readiness of prospective teachers.Keywords: Interest in becoming a teacher, Field Experience Practice, Teaching ReadinessABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji hubungan antara minat mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi FEB UNM menjadi guru dan Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) terhadap kesiapan mengajar sebagai guru. Pendekatan kuantitatif seperti observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi digunakan dalam penelitian ini. 44 peserta dipilih untuk penelitian ini, dan tanggapan mereka dievaluasi menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa secara parsial minat menjadi guru tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru. Sedangkan Praktik pengalaman lapangan (PPL) secara parsial memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru. Secara simultan minat menjadi guru (X1) dan praktik pengenalan lapangan (X2) mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi FEB UNM memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan mengajar calon guru.Kata Kunci: Minat menjadi Guru, Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL), Kesiapan Mengajar
