Abstract

As part of implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, the lecturer team in STAB Negeri Raden Wijaya Wonogiri, Central Java conducted community service activities in the form of "Training and Assistance for Buddhist Sunday School Management in Wonogiri Regency" (Efforts of Service Lecturers to Improve the Quality of SMB Management in Wonogiri Regency). The locations used as places to carry out community service activities are SMB Maitri Ratna in Giriwoyo District and SMB Dhamma Sasana in Slogohimo District. Based on observations in the field, it was found that Sunday school management had not been managed well and learning activities used monotonous material because Sunday school teachers had minimal training in both teaching and organizational management. This service activity is carried out by providing training and assistance to Sunday school coaches and teachers through 3 stages, namely observation, implementation, and ending with evaluation. The results of ongoing community service activities provide benefits, namely the preparation of Culla Sekha Sunday school learning plans, SMB teachers being able to use tangram media and interactive media in Sunday school activities, and the formation of the Maitri Ratna SMB management structure.

Abstract

This research aims to explain (1) the implementation of overcoming adolescent social behavior through leadership training and creative economy as well as assistance in religious education activities carried out in Kedung Jaya Village, Babelan District, Bekasi Regency, West Java, (2) the participation of Islamic youth involved in the implementation of behavioral control. Social media for adolescents in Kedung Jaya Village, Babelan District, Bekasi Regency, West Java. One of the organizations that exist in rural areas is an Islamic youth organization, both under the management of a mosque and an independent organization under private management engaged in social and religious fields that require a touch of academic (touching of academic) in running programs to anticipate behavior. of teenagers who are inappropriate or who can harm socially both individuals and groups. The youth group in the community structure is significant in community empowerment. Teenagers are part of a group of people who are in the identity versus identity phase and are undergoing adolescence (puberty) which is very easy to accept and absorb what is happening around them by prioritizing the aspect of ego (egocentricity) in behavior or action. Fast-paced social changes have a significant impact on changes in adolescent behavior both in terms of behavior and mindset. The youth empowerment that we do in tackling the social behavior of youth based on Islamic youth organizations is carried out through leadership and creativity training activities that aim to motivate and inspire rural youth to be more efficient and effective in facing various global changes more optimistically and confidently through the provision of the knowledge and skills provided by STAI Attaqwa Bekasi students in a research-based KKN program located in the Babelan sub-district. The target orientation in this activity is teenagers who are active in various Islamic youth organizations in the village of Kedung Supervisor. The method we use in this activity is the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method, namely by involving youth to participate in the management of the training program. Data reduction is done through FGD (forum group discussion) and the resulting product. Leadership training and creativity in the use of ginger plants (ginger plant) in healthy food, and waste cooking oil used as aroma therapy candles as well as assistance in religious education activities that we do during research-based KKN are incentives for teenagers to have insight and real skills to be able to maintain self-defense and be able to control oneself from behaviors that can harm oneself and others. And can inspire young Islamic organizations to take better care of themselves, and be more creative and innovative in utilizing the materials around them to make them more economically valuable as the goal of maqoshid al-syari'ah which must be implemented in everyday life as part of the reconstruction of Islamic education.

Abstract

Natural disasters such as landslides and droughts pose a serious threat to communities living in the mainland of DAS Waeruhu. Therefore, through a social approach to the community, we call socialization about mitigation and adaptation to the disasters of drought and drought in this region. Some of the problems faced by the communities in the region are: (a) the topography of the district is steep, increasing the risk of droughts, especially during the rainy season; (b) forest deforestation greatly increases the risk for drought due to the loss of soil-resistant vegetation; (c) development without good planning, including building houses on steep slopes, may increase drought risk; (d) changes in irregular rain patterns can cause drought, threatening water supply for agriculture and household needs; (e) rising temperatures and global climate change can worsen drought conditions and reduce available water resources; (f) underprivileged populations may find it difficult to build disaster-resilient infrastructure or take necessary mitigation measures; (g) public awareness of risks and depletion, as well as ways to cope with these risks, can be a serious problem; (h) limited access to education can hinder the public's vital understanding of adaptation and disasters.

Abstract

The potential natural resources of Keerom Regency, Arso District, especially in the agricultural sector, are very abundant. Corn cob waste produced by farmers is a loss if it is not converted into something more useful. Corn cobs contain cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin. This content will later be converted into smaller molecules through various treatments to be used as energy. This service aims to provide knowledge and skills to the farming community, on how to process corn cob waste as solid fuel or briquettes. The results of proximate testing or the composition of corn cob briquettes carried out in the Unhas Animal Husbandry Laboratory showed that at the highest temperature of 100oC, fixed carbon was obtained at 39.7, and at the lowest temperature of 60oC, fixed carbon was at 41.3. This can be stated as the amount of carbon contained in the remaining material after the volatile matter has been removed. Likewise, the higher the fixed carbon value, the quality of the corncob briquettes increases. Thus, the highest energy or heat pattern obtained is 5933 cal/gr, so corn cob briquettes can be used as briquette fuel energy. Utilizing corn cobs as fuel for briquettes can reduce dependence on fuel oil and can be used as a home industry business.

Abstract

The people of Sidamulih village have sufficient interest, expertise and appropriate and renewable technology, but there is no special guidance for small community business groups. Several groups of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of processed food products are constrained in marketing to a wider scope such as to super markets, due to suboptimal product quality and the absence of product information such as nutritional content and product expiration date. This is due to constraints on testing costs and MSMEs' ignorance of the importance of food product quality. The existence of tourism group coaching activities and community institution coaching activities that are still active in improving and testing the quality of processed food products of MSMEs are expected to bridge the interests of the community, especially MSMEs of processed food products to expand their marketing due to increased consumer confidence in product safety. The test results show that the nutritional content of processed MSME products varies, some products have good quality, some are not good. A similar thing happens with product expiry, where some have expiry periods that are too short, making them less suitable for long-term marketing. This problem needs to be followed up with briefings to related MSMEs on good food processing methods, so that processed MSME products will be of better quality and marketable. The next plan is to conduct training on Good Processed Food Processing Methods for MSMEs so that processed products will have better quality so that their marketing is wider.

Abstract

Bookkeeping is one of the important things done by every business actor, but it is often ignored by small business actors, especially those in Girian Atas Village. This happens because small business actors do not understand how to make bookkeeping, have not applied the concept of business entities, do not know how to calculate selling prices in accordance with cost accounting theory. Based on this reality, it is necessary to conduct training activities on Bookkeeping and Determination of Selling Price in Small and Medium Enterprises in Girian Atas Village. The activity was carried out in two stages. First, conduct training on bookkeeping and determination of cost of goods sold and selling price. Second, conducting evaluation and monitoring, to see the extent of the results of financial records of SMEs. The results of this activity have an impact on increasing knowledge and understanding of accounting and determining selling prices. Business actors have also been able to make simple financial statements, namely income statements, statements of changes in capital, and balance sheets. This is a good thing, because they can fulfill one of the requirements to apply for a credit loan at the bank, which will certainly help increase the capital of their business.
