Abstract

One way to develop health is community empowerment in the field of dental and oral health. Based on the 2018 Basic Health Research, it was reported that the prevalence of dental and oral problems in Indonesia is still very high. As many as 93% of school-aged children experience dental and oral problems. This is due to a lack of knowledge and lack of awareness of the Indonesian population regarding dental hygiene. In a series of activities for the 2023 National Dental Health Month, dental and oral health education programs are carried out in schools/School Health Programs. Method: The method is carried out using a cadre training program / Training of Trainers through zoom meetings for teachers and parents of students by providing dental and oral health material. Next, ask them to provide assistance with morning and evening toothbrushing activities for 21 days, teaching children about the benefits of good oral hygiene and showing them how to brush their teeth twice a day. It is preceded by a pretest and at the end of the delivery of the material a post test is given. The results of the evaluation of understanding of the material presented show that there is a significant difference in the pre-test and post-test of prospective cadres, which means that the cadres understand the material well. The new habit of brushing teeth has been quite successful from the uploaded photo documentation and students have recorded well for 21 days. This shows a change in behavior in maintaining dental and oral health.

Abstract

The rapid development of the gaming industry has prompted the integration of programming education into vocational education curricula, yet manual assessment of student projects remains a significant constraint. This study proposes a C#-based game programming interface with automatic assessment using unit testing. Students receive learning materials from teachers for self-directed study, employing interface development methods based on Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and prototype research methods. Research results demonstrate the success of automated assessment, enhancing the efficiency of student evaluations and the quality of game programming education. Academic data confirms improved student learning outcomes. Advantages of automated assessment include time efficiency for teachers, consistency, prompt feedback, support for self-directed learning, TDD implementation, and overall enhancement of learning quality. Data analysis of programming modules (MP) and test modules (MT) indicates the effectiveness of the C#-based game programming interface with TDD. Automated assessment eliminates the burden of manual correction, allowing teachers to focus on pedagogical aspects. Consistency is evident in uniform outcomes across all modules. Prompt feedback provides students with instant improvement opportunities, while self-directed learning support and TDD implementation are reflected in the success of test modules. In conclusion, this innovation effectively addresses assessment challenges in game programming education within vocational settings.

Method: This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach, the sample of this study amounted to 100 farmers. Data collection using interviews, questionnaires, and observation techniques. The data obtained is then processed with chi-square statistical tests. Results: Based on the results of bivariate statistical tests knowledge variables and action variables are related to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The results of the study showed that the variables related to the use of PPE were knowledge variables (p = 0.004) and action variables (p = 0.043). Suggestion: It is expected for the local government to provide knowledge to farmers in Melati II Village, regarding the importance of using personal protective equipment when spraying pesticides and the dangers of pesticides, to protect nature and also the health of farmers.

Abstract

In this community service activity, entrepreneurship training in the field of processed food industry is carried out for students and teachers. The types of processed food given as training materials are types of processed food that utilize the potential of local raw materials around the implementation site. These materials are the result of research that has previously been conducted, but has not been implemented. Participants have followed with enthusiasm and consider the knowledge gained to be very useful as a provision to improve family welfare. The boarding school made the activity a provision of additional knowledge for the students. In addition to knowledge related to religious knowledge, understanding the material from the training will also be implemented to increase other sources of income besides the funds that have so far only come from student fees. The existence of the boarding school located in Sindanglama Village, Malausma District, Majalengka Regency has become a concern of the surrounding community. This can be seen from the visits of several figures during the training. Thus, the overall program in the short term has succeeded in achieving its objectives, while for the long-term further assistance is still needed for participants in order to realize a successful entrepreneurial unit.
