Abstract

The Read aimed at solving powerlessness stimulus community in addressing the low literacy house is done by aligning competencies Read community in aspects of education and increase the economy through the realization of future pandemic empowerment of elementary school children. Low reading literacy problems that triggered the latest development and human resource management in reducing Education and economy in the region. Activities to be initiated include the pilot house that optimizes Read local potential associated with the child's multiple intelligence intelligence. The purpose of devotion is to analyze, identify and foster children's understanding of literacy-related knowledge in literacy and numeracy through the Home-based Education Sustainable Development Read to create the next generation in the field calistung berkemajuan. Dedication method used is the Participatory Rural Apraissal Model. Additionally, to provide training for people, especially elementary school children in the village of Clark to build entrepreneurship and improving basic literacy, so as to improve literacy and numeracy literacy villages. This is done to reduce unemployment and improve the education of children in the area. This activity is carried out using a descriptive study using a qualitative approach carried out in the village Cokro. The results showed that the program activities of Education Sustainable Development at Home Read into intensive solution to the demands of the revolutionary educational gap, especially as much as 59.09% learners are women. So, in summary read home-based Education Sustainable Development has a positive impact on the students currently studying at home as well as help facilitate increased self competence and basic literacy and ecological literacy.

Abstract

Community Service Community Service activities aim to empower the MSME community to improve product quality amid the Covid-19 outbreak that hit Indonesia. The fact is that it has an impact on economic aspects, especially MSMEs, to become stagnant. As a result, most MSME actors are hampered and even end up in bankruptcy. This is why MSME business actors change their sales plans through the digitalization program. The digitalization program in question maximizes the marketplace and establishes social media as a marketing procedure. In addition, digital MSME actors are required to be able to work with netizens when selling products and services. Thus, the plan to continue the sustainability of digital MSMEs can be one of the preferences in developing businesses amid the Covid-19 outbreak.

Abstract

Income received on a fixed or variable basis and expenses incurred must be managed properly and effectively. The principle of good financial management is if the expenditure of funds does not exceed the receipt of funds. Sources of funding received can come from debt or from income or business or investment. How plan finances in the current Covid-19 pandemic era are important, this is because the current pandemic period makes many people experience financial difficulties due to declining sources of income. Recording receipts and expenses or making a budget is a wise action in the midst of this difficult covid pandemic situation. Making a budget will be able to control which items must be prioritized and which must be considered. This problem should be felt by the customers of Auto 2000 BSD City, PT. Astra International, Tbk is the place where community service activities are carried out. Customers or customers do not understand how and how to manage finances well and do not understand the importance of making good financial planning. As a result of this ignorance, it results in ineffective finances and a deficit so that there are needs that cannot be met. The method used in the implementation of this service is to provide counseling in the form of presentations and assistance with budgeting. The results of this socialization activity are the customers of PT. Astra International Tbk is able to understand good financial management and is able to make personal financial planning.

Abstract

Good posture is when the head, shoulders, spine, waist, knees and ankles are all in a straight line. Lack of awareness of students about the importance of maintaining good posture will causes bad posture which has the potential to trigger abnormalities in the spine. This community service program is one of the government's efforts to improve the quality of life and productivity with good posture for students at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Tulangan, Sidoarjo Regency. This program is expected to increase awareness of good posture in students. The method is education with lectures, practice and demonstration methods by using teaching aids as a tool in the educational process. The measuring to measure posture is using the postural zone and for practicing Mckenzie Exercise and Stretch for neck and shoulder pain using a mat and foam roller props. The successful of this program can be seen from the increase in knowledge by 50%, increasing awareness of good posture in students by 75%, increasing the number of questions from students related to the material presented by 50% and the number of students experiencing a significant increase in pre-test and post-test scores by 70%.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed all activities in all fields, including the field of education. Early childhood education plays an important role in the mental and character formation of children. Parents must always update their knowledge to be able to educate and care for children according to age and development of the times. During the pandemic, the learning process at Aisyiyah Sukodono Kindergarten was mostly done online, this made it difficult for parents to accompany their children to study at home, besides that teachers had never received training on early detection of child development. This activity aims to optimize the skills of parents in caring for children according to age stages and empower teachers to be able to detect early development of their students. The Service Method is by providing counseling to the guardians of Aisyiyah Sukodono Sidoarjo Kindergarten students about positive parenting to optimize children's potential and providing training on early detection of child growth and development with a developmental pre-screening questionnaire (KPSP) for Aisyiyah Sukodono Sidoarjo Kindergarten teachers. This community service activity was attended by 23 parents and 8 teachers. Based on the results of the assessment before participating in parenting education activities, most of the parents (71%) had less knowledge about parenting, and after participating in the activity, most of the parents (54%) had good knowledge about parenting. Meanwhile, for teachers, before training all of them could not use KPSP and after training, all of them became able to use KPSP for early detection of developments. This shows that there is an increase in the knowledge of parents about child care and teachers are able to carry out early detection of developments with KPSP.

Abstract

Currently, the use of plastic containers is increasing which has an impact on landfilling because the material is difficult to decompose. One alternative effort to reduce plastic container waste is to use it as a vegetable growing medium. Vegetables that are grown can be consumed every day, which can increase the family's food, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic which has resulted in a weakening economy. Therefore, this training activity on the utilization of used plastic waste containers was carried out in Padang Luas Village, Tambang Sub District, District Kampar, Riau. This activity aims to provide knowledge, insight and stimulate creativity in processing plastic waste to the community in utilizing used plastic containers to grow vegetables. Methods of training activities include material presentation, demonstration of making plant pots from used plastic, and making plant pots with the community. The training activities have proceeded as planned. The results of the questionnaire after the training activities showed that most of the people gave a positive response and would apply the knowledge they gained from the training. Overall, participant answer really liked (54%) and liked (46%) the use of plant pots from used plastic containers. This training activity can be the beginning of the implementation of the use of used plastic waste to be more useful.

Abstract

This community service has a goal, namely to foster motivation from participants to develop entrepreneurial insight and to have expertise and confidence in the use of social media as a marketing process for business products. The methods for implementing this service are lectures, discussions/questions, answers, practice/simulations, and games. The results of this service are that the participants understand the concept of entrepreneurship much better with the motivation given, participants are able to identify the difference between conventional and digital marketing, and participants know and are able to apply the concept of social media marketing in their business products. The conclusion of this service is that the participants have the enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit for women with disabilities, especially in the city of Bandung to continue to work and develop their skills, grow to understand and develop digital marketing communication strategies and grow the ability to pack persuasive messages through ideal communication skills. This is based on the current conditions where there are more and more businesses, so it requires the readiness of entrepreneurs to package messages ideally and quickly. This step can be done by using social media as a marketing tool or what is known as social media marketing.

Abstract

This community service project works with partners, that is Kelompok Lestari Bumi, a pavin block manufacturing company made from plastic waste. This company was founded by a group of Jetis village residents in Kemangkon district of Purbalingga district who were concerned about the growing amount of plastic waste in their community and how it was affecting the environment. In order to do that, they attempt to transform it into pavin bricks, a product that is both practical and valuable economically. The challenge Kelompok Lestari Bumi is in the area of marketing, where word-of-mouth advertising is still used, making the product less well known to the general population. In reality, given the product's originality, high quality, and competitive pricing, especially considering that the raw material is plastic trash, it may have advantages. In order to carry out community service, a variety of techniques are used, including: (1) identifying partners' marketing limitations; (2) developing solutions to partners' issues; and (3) providing partners with training and mentorship. Digital marketing using Facebook's social media network has been proposed as the solution. The outcomes that are anticipated are: (1) increased online product promotion with a larger audience through Facebook social media; (2) reduced marketing expenses; and (3) improved long-term sales performance.

Abstract

Benda Baru Village, located in Pamulang sub-district, South Tangerang, has the potential for local food ingredients in the form of cassava which is generally processed simply for own consumption or sold as a home-based business. This simple processing causes the value and selling price of the product to be low. This community service activity aims to improve the ability of the Benda Baru village community in processing cassava and innovate traditional cake making that can increase the selling value of processed cassava products as an effort to improve family welfare. This activity was attended by 19 participants who are housewives in the Benda Baru sub-district which were carried out online using lectures, demonstrations, and evaluation methods. Evaluation of activities is carried out by filling out a pre-test and post-test by participants which is then calculated by using a gain test, as well as filling out a questionnaire on the satisfaction of the activity implementation. Gain-score results obtained a value of 0.8 which means that there is an high increase in the knowledge of participants. The results of the questionnaire stated that community service activity went well, the material was conveyed clearly, and sparked the interest of the training participants to try to practice the cake that was demonstrated. Based on the results of the gain test and filling out the questionnaire, it can be concluded that this community service activity went well, had a positive impact on the training participants, became an inspiration for fulfilling family snacks, and was used as a business opportunity to help improve the family economy.

Abstract

Indonesia ranks 3rd as the country with the most tuberculosis (TB or TB) sufferers in the world, after India and China. To support international programs and reduce the number of TB spreads in Indonesia, one of the areas designated as TB Alert village since 2021 is Grujugan Village, Gapura District, Sumenep Regency. Based on data from the Gapura Health Center in 2020, the Gapura Community Health Center contributed 3.5% of the total TB patients in Sumenep Regency, the main locus of TB patients in Gapura sub-district is Grujugan village. After being designated as a TB Alert village, the local village government formed 25 TB health cadres. In the process of screening, mentoring and supervising taking ODTB (People with TB) drugs in Grujugan village, several main problems were found; (1) The village government as the leading sector of TB eradication in Grujugan village does not have access to obtain the latest data regarding the total number and who the local population has screened for TB. (2) The village government receives data on the results of screening and TB suspects in the form of paper forms, so that the data received is only in the form of paper reports that are archived in a modest manner. (3) Supervision of taking medication for residents who are tested positive for TB is carried out manually, such as visiting ODTB's (People With TB) homes or reminding them via telephone. (4) There are still residents who are declared as ODTB stop taking medication, this is because ODTB experience anxiety, cold sweats, feel pain in several parts of the body after taking TB medication. (5) The community of Grujugan village is saturated with TB socialization activities carried out by TB health cadres, this is also because the health cadres have not received training in communication skills and self-healing to reduce anxiety for ODTB. This PKM implementation method is divided into four stages; (1) planning, (2) implementation: making the TB Report application as well as training & mentoring in communication skills, (4) activity evaluation and (5) PKM results reporting. The output of this service activity is to improve the service quality of TB health cadres in monitoring the spread of TB to be more effective up to 70% through the use of the TB Report application and improving communication skills for TB health cadres.
