Abstract

The goal of this development research is to produce a book product of a practice model for basic futsal technical skills based on games that can benefit coaches to make it easier for them to implement training materials. This research uses the Research and Development model from Borg and Gall, which consists of ten steps in the research process. The experimental research design is in the form of the two-group pretest posttest design. The subjects in this study were students aged junior high school from YPPK ST. Bernardus Timika, consisting of 40 students with 28 training model items, and 40 students who were not given treatment. The stages in this research include: preliminary research, expert evaluation, product trials consisting of small group try-outs and field try groups, and product effectiveness tests. The effectiveness test of the model uses basic technical skills tests by comparing the control and experimental groups. The experimental group was given This was carried out by giving a pre-test before treatment and a post-test after treatment. Meanwhile, the control group was given a pre-test and post-test but was not given treatment. The comparison test between the control group and the experimental group using SPSS 16 showed passing = 0.030, controlling = 0.002, dribbling = 0.000, shooting = 0.024, or p-value < 0.05, indicating that there were significant differences in the control group and the experimental group before and after the treatment was applied. Therefore, the implementation of a game-based basic technique skills training model for futsal at SMP YPPK ST. Bernardus Timika needs to be conducted to improve students' basic technical skills.

Abstract

lecturers from the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Islam Al-Azhar to assist in the renovation design of Masjid Nurul Ibad Mertak Wire, located in Barabali Village, Batukliang District, Central Lombok Regency. The mosque, which has stood since 1998, has deteriorated over time, and the mosque management aims to renovate it. The main challenges faced include the absence of a Detail Engineering Design (DED) and a Budget Plan (RAB), limited funds, and the aging condition of the building. Based on field analysis and interviews with the mosque management, it was found that a new construction is necessary to create a more comfortable and aesthetically pleasing mosque environment. To address this issue, the UNIZAR PKM Team collaborates with the Nurul Ibad Mosque Management to develop the Detail Engineering Design (DED) and the Budget Plan (RAB). The implementation method of this PKM activity consists of preparation, process, and output stages. The preparation stage includes activity planning, cost estimation, and identifying partners following LPPM UNIZAR requirements. Once a partner is found, the team of lecturers and students establishes cooperation with the Nurul Ibad Mosque Management to carry out the PKM activities. The process involves submitting a proposal to LPPM UNIZAR, preparing the necessary PKM documentation, and mobilizing architectural and structural experts. Upon completion, the team leader compiles a community service report to be submitted to LPPM UNIZAR and reports the implementation of the activities to the Nurul Ibad Mosque Management as part of the UNIZAR lecturers' Tridarma.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in utilizing Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI) to strengthen branding strategies in the digital era. The training was held offline on May 16, 2025, at Telkom University Surabaya Campus, attended by 25 MSMEs fostered by Telkom CDC Witel Suramadu. The implementation method adopted a learning by doing approach, focusing on prompt engineering using ChatGPT to produce product visuals, social media content calendars, and business slogans. Evaluation results show that participants found the material highly relevant to their needs (average score 4.63), easy to understand (4.56), and expressed strong interest in similar future programs (4.75). These findings indicate that hands-on training using a single AI platform can significantly improve MSMEs’ digital readiness, especially in marketing and visual communication. The program also fostered ethical awareness regarding AI use. This initiative contributes to community-based digital transformation and has strong potential for broader replication.

Abstract

The urgency of PNBP community service in 2024 is that teachers need to implement mobile learning applications as interactive multimedia learning media for science on solar system material for grade VI elementary school students. This is necessary because students find it difficult to understand the solar system subject matter and do not know what planets are in the solar system using textbook teaching materials and students get bored quickly and are less interested because students only imagine the solar system based on the teacher's explanation on the board. The purpose of this community service is the transfer of science and technology to implement mobile learning applications as interactive multimedia learning media for science on solar system subject matter for grade VI elementary school students. Community service activities are carried out using lecture methods, discussions, questions and answers, demonstrations and practices for using mobile learning applications for science, as well as evaluation of community service activities. The targeted output is that elementary school students can use interactive learning media for mobile learning applications for science to improve the quality of learning solar system material and the results of community service activities in the form of articles published in community service journals.

Abstract

Early childhood Islamic education plays a strategic role in shaping spiritual, moral, and social character. One essential aspect is teaching prayer procedures, which not only fulfill religious obligations but also instill values such as discipline, cleanliness, and focus. However, conventional teaching methods are often ineffective for young learners who require visual, auditory, and kinesthetic engagement. This community service initiative aimed to develop an innovative learning media combining ChatGPT-based interactivity with Studio Ghibli-inspired visual design to enhance children's understanding of prayer. The method involved four stages: problem analysis, media development, and implementation. The program was conducted at TK IT Rumah Anak Saleh in Buton and involved active participation from early childhood educators. The resulting media featured AI-driven natural language interactions and visually engaging illustrations created via ChatGPT and designed with Canva. Implementation involved guided learning sessions using visual posters and multisensory approaches to teach prayer movements and recitations. The results showed high enthusiasm and engagement among children, improved understanding of prayer, and effective memorization through enjoyable learning experiences. In conclusion, integrating AI technology and imaginative visuals proved effective in delivering Islamic education to young children and offers a promising model for enhancing spiritual literacy in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a health promotion activity in increasing public awareness of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) in Sakuru Village, Monta District, Bima Regency. The program was motivated by the low public awareness of the importance of PHBS, which contributes to the high prevalence of environment-related diseases, such as diarrhea and respiratory infections. The health promotion activity was conducted using a participatory approach, involving community leaders, housewives, and youth as change agents. The results indicate that the activity successfully improved the participants' knowledge and awareness of PHBS, with many participants starting to implement healthy behaviors, such as using proper sanitation facilities and managing waste. However, challenges remain in changing long-established habits. The evaluation suggests that the health promotion activity was effective in increasing public awareness, but sustained behavioral change requires continuous support from various stakeholders and collaboration between the government, community, and educational institutions.

Abstract

School libraries are one of the important facilities that can be used to improve literacy culture and learning quality. However, managing libraries manually often causes various problems, including problems with recording book data, borrowing transactions, and limited access to information for students and teachers. Community service activities in the form of building a web-based library management system called PUSGALAS (Pusat Galeri Literasi SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya). The purpose of the system is to improve efficiency and ease of access to literacy services in schools. Needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation are part of the Waterfall model used in the development of this system. This system is built using the PHP programming language and utilizes the Laravel framework and MySQL database. Book collection management, borrowing and returning, book searching, digital shelf visualization, and statistical reports are the main features available. The test results showed that the system was well received by users and met functional needs, with a satisfaction rate of more than 90% based on the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) evaluation. Therefore, PUSGALAS is considered effective in helping the transformation of school libraries into digital and can be an innovative solution to improve literacy services in secondary schools.
