Abstract

This research addresses the lack of student enthusiasm for mathematics and the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDIT Lukmanul Hakim regarding cubes and rectangular prisms. To tackle this issue, the Van Hiele theory is applied, which includes five stages of learning: information, orientation, and explicitness. The study investigates how a learning model based on the Van Hiele theory affects the students' understanding of these concepts. Conducted as classroom action research (CAR) in 2 cycles, the study involved 27 students of class 4B at SDIT Lukmanul Hakim. Data were collected through observations, interviews, tests, and documentation. Results showed that in Cycle I, only 62.96% of students achieved the competency indicators due to challenges in motivation and enthusiasm. However, in Cycle II, 85% of students achieved learning mastery. Thus, the application of the Van Hiele theory positively influences student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Teaching English to children is crucial. English plays a significant role internationally, providing access to information and technology. Effective teaching for young learners requires good planning, suitable methods, and appropriate materials. The purposes of this study were to (1) identify the visual aids that English teachers at MIN 2 Langsa utilize to teach English to primary pupils, and (2) investigate the teacher's experiences with these aids. Data collection was done in December 2023 through a fifth-grade English teacher at MIN 2 Langsa. The phenomenological approach was combined with a qualitative method in this study. An interview and an observation served as the instruments. The purpose of the observation was to see how the fifth-grade pupils at MIN 2 Langsa's teachers using media, and the interview was given to the English teacher to learn more about the teacher's expertise with visual media. The results of this study demonstrated that the types of media that teachers used to teach English included whiteboards, English textbooks, dictionaries, posters, pictures, games, and other objects that were nearby. The interview with the teacher revealed that, depending on the subject, she employed visual aids to simplify the English lesson and help the pupils understand it better.

Abstract

Research conducted at SDN Paseban 18 Pagi saw the boredom of students in learning, especially in social studies subjects, due to the lack of use of supportive learning media. In addition, researchers also noted an attitude of intolerance among students regarding differences. This encouraged researchers to analyze the need for developing ludo kebhinekaan learning media to improve social studies learning that pays attention to cultural diversity in grade IV. This study involved 1 teacher and 14 grade IV learners at SDN Paseban 18 Pagi. The development method used is the ADDIE Model, which involves five stages: Analysis, Planning, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. At the needs analysis stage, researchers used observation and questionnaires to collect data from teachers and grade IV students. The results showed that 78% of students expressed a lack of interest in social studies due to monotonous learning without the use of learning media, while 69% of teachers saw weaknesses in improving students' tolerance attitudes. This research became the basis for the development of learning media that is expected to overcome the lack of interest of students in social studies while improving their understanding and tolerance attitude towards diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Implementation of Bina Pribadi Islami (BPI) building religious character of Students at SDIT Asiddiiqi Jambi City. Using a qualitative approach with field research methods. The research subjects involved classes IV and VI totaling 55 students, the Principal, class teachers and parents of students. Using research instruments interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study explain that the BPI Learning process with the concept of habituation, as well as the importance of the teacher's spirit in the world of education can build students' religious character. There is good cooperation between student parents and the school. The presence of periodic debriefing for teachers, special parenting seminars for parents, and efforts to establish good communication and cooperation between teachers and parents, namely by forming a grub via WhatsApp as a forum for discussion / sharing.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of differentiated learning in meeting students' learning needs in elementary schools. The research method is descriptive qualitative with the research subjects, namely class II B students with a total of 29 students in Mathematics subjects on time material. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The data validity test was carried out by triangulating techniques and sources. Data analysis techniques by collecting data, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of differentiated learning in meeting student learning needs by implementing differentiated learning strategies of content, process, product and environment. The supporting factors for differentiated learning are the mapping of students and adequate facilities so that they can facilitate the interests, needs and learning styles of students. While the inhibiting factors require more intensive time and preparation for teachers, active class conditions so that it takes time to condition the class to be conducive, and different expectations between teachers and students in understanding the material can be one of the obstacles..

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' lack of understanding of Indonesian language lessons, especially regarding the material on expressions of requests for help and forgiveness. This type of quantitative research design is One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Data was obtained using normality, homogeneity, hypothesis and N-Gain tests. From the results of research using the teacher observation sheet, the score was 92% in the very good category and the student activity observation sheet was 80% in the good category. There is an influence of paper puppet learning media on student learning outcomes in Indonesian language lessons with a value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. In the N-Gain test, a value of 0.58 was obtained, meaning that the average increase in the pretest and posttest index was included in the medium category.

Abstract

The lack of teaching media that discusses tajweed material in schools causes students to have difficulty in understanding the material presented. Teaching media in the form of games is needed because primary school students still like to play in learning. The purpose of this study was to develop game-based learning media on the concept of mad thabi'i/ashli reading law material, mad wajib muttasil, and mad jaiz munfasil by using media feasibility testing from three teams of experts. The type of research used is R&D (research and development) using the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Media validation was conducted in three areas of experts, namely media, material, and language validation. Based on the results of the media validation test, the average score was 85%. In terms of media expert validation, this media is very feasible to use with an average value percentage of 85%. The material expert validation test stage obtained an average score of 96% with one revision, these results stated that this game-based learning media was very feasible to use. Then the language field validation stage obtained a value of 85 use in the learning process.

Abstract

This research was carried out because of students' interest in practical learning models which were aimed at finding out the application of the Project based Learning model as well as the inhibiting and supporting factors encountered in the process of implementing it in Indonesian language learning in class IV MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Srikaton. Researchers used field research with a qualitative approach. The data obtained was collected through interviews with related parties, namely educators and class IV students, and observation. Researchers use data reduction, presentation and also draw data conclusions in the analysis process. The results obtained in the form of application of learning include planning and implementation processes which include the steps of determining basic questions, preparing plans, preparing schedules, monitoring, testing results and evaluating experience. Supporting factors for implementing the Project Based Learning learning model are professional teachers, enthusiastic students, adequate educational facilities. The inhibiting factors are the presence of some students who are less responsive and the school environment is too busy.

Abstract

In an effort to enhance the effectiveness and enthusiasm in the learning process, picture story media is considered a highly effective tool in education. The use of this media enables students to learn more efficiently and enjoyably. However, at MI Islamiyah Ngoro, picture story media has never been used before. This situation has led to students feeling bored with the material focused on gotong royong (mutual cooperation) due to a lack of concrete experience, resulting in difficulties for students in expressing an authentic understanding of the value of gotong royong in daily life. This study aims to develop picture story media based on the strengthening project of the Pancasila student profile, specifically related to the values of Pancasila, particularly the value of gotong royong, using more concrete and realistic picture story media. This research employs the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating. The study involves 27 first-grade students from MI Islamiyah Ngoro, as well as the principal and teachers. Data collection was carried out through interviews and questionnaires. The result of this development is a picture story media validated by expert validators, with a score of 98% from material experts, 90% from media experts, and 94% from instructional experts. The average score from the three validators is 94%, categorized as highly feasible. This indicates that picture story media is feasible and effective to be used in PPKN learning based on the P5 project on the topic of gotong royong.

Abstract

Kurikulum merdeka berfokus pada penanaman karakter dengan menerapkan profil pelajar pancasila. Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia merupakan pelajaran wajib yang dapat menjadi ajang dalam mengembangkan P3. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan nilai moral kepada peserta didik melalui pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dalam mapel bahasa indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode field research di SD Yapita Surabaya dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa P3 sudah diterapkan pada pembelajaran bahasa indonesia. Dimensi yang paling menonjol dan banyak digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa indonesia adalah bernalar kritis dan kreatif. Penerapan dimensi P3 menyesuaikan kebutuhan peserta didik, tidak semua diterapkan. Penerapan P3 dalam pelajaran bahasa indonesia di SD Yapita Surabaya sudah efektif dan menjadikan pembelajaran semakin menyenangkan.
