Abstract

This study explores how digital learning tools can transform vocabulary learning through the Liveworksheet website at SMPN 7 Palopo. Conducted as a pre-experimental study with a one-group pre-test and post-test design, the research involved 23 ninth-grade students selected purposively from a population of 60. Using a vocabulary test as the main instrument and SPSS 29 for analysis, the study uncovered a remarkable improvement in students’ vocabulary mastery. The average post-test score (73.04) demonstrated a substantial increase from the pre-test average (38.91), confirming the positive impact of the intervention. Specifically, vocabulary growth was observed across noun, verb, and adjective categories, with mean scores in each category nearly doubling after the treatment. Statistical analysis revealed a t-value (17.201) far exceeding the t-table (2.074), reinforcing the significance of the results. These findings highlight that the Liveworksheet website not only enhances vocabulary acquisition but also fosters interactive and independent learning. Ultimately, this study underlines the potential of technology-integrated platforms like Liveworksheet to make English learning more engaging, accessible, and effective for students in the digital era.

Abstract

Implementation of Child-Friendly Schools in the Prevention of Student BullyingThis study aims to analyze the implementation of the Child Friendly School (CFS) program at SMP Negeri 39 Medan and to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. A qualitative approach was employed, using in-depth interviews with the school counselor and the principal as key informants. The findings reveal that the CFS program has been implemented through several concrete measures, including curriculum adjustments emphasizing tolerance and respect, teacher training to prevent bullying, parental involvement through parenting classes, as well as the provision of a student complaint system and counseling services. School discipline is also applied in a more humanistic way, making students more compliant because they feel respected rather than afraid of punishment. Nevertheless, this study also highlights several challenges, such as limited supporting facilities (health unit and library) and the persistence of student conflicts. Overall, SMP Negeri 39 Medan is on the right track in implementing CFS, although continuous evaluation, facility improvement, and synergy with stakeholders are required to achieve the ideal objectives of a truly child-friendly school.

Abstract

The Influence Of Parental Parenting Styles On The Learning Independence Of Grade Xi Students At State High School 4 SijunjungThis research is motivated by the existence of students who experience a lack of learning independence and students do not know about learning independence. This study aims to determine: 1) Parenting patterns of parents in class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Sijunjung. 2) Learning independence of class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Sijunjung. 3) Describe the influence of parenting patterns on learning independence of class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Sijunjung. This study uses a descriptive quantitative research method. with a population of 94 people, the sampling technique is total sampling. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study is a percentage and simple linear regression. The results of this study show: 1) Parenting patterns of class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Sijunjung are in the high category. 2) Learning independence of class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Sijunjung is in the high category. 3) The results of the analysis indicate that there is a significant influence (Ha) between the influence of parenting patterns on student learning independence. A significance value of 0.200 ≥ 0.05 indicates a very strong category. Therefore, it can be concluded that parenting patterns have a significant influence on students' learning independence. This study recommends that guidance and counseling teachers design service programs that focus on good learning independence for students.

Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF SCHOOL PRINCIPAL LEADERSHIP AND ACADEMIC SUPERVISION ON PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER PERFORMANCE IN GUGUS 2 MAUK DISTRICT, TANGERANG REGENCYThis research is motivated by the low ability of teachers to manage learning, which impacts the decline in elementary school student achievement in Cluster 2, Mauk District, Tangerang Regency. This reflects the need for principal leadership in improving teacher performance. This research is an ex post facto type of quantitative research. The research population was 102 elementary school teachers in Cluster 2 Mauk District, with a specified sample of 52 respondents. The research instrument used a questionnaire. The results of the research show that the principal's leadership partially has a significant effect on teacher performance by 20.7%, demonstrated by the opportunity for teachers to increase their knowledge of learning materials and knowledge of information and communication technology in learning, which can improve their ability to prepare teacher administration equipment by paying attention to health. And teacher welfare. Partial academic supervision has the most dominant and significant influence on teacher performance, 75 as shown by the guidance provided by the Principal to each teacher in preparing semester programs and not guiding teachers in planning and implementing remedial programs. The principal's leadership and academic supervision simultaneously significantly affect teacher performance by 98.3%, while the remaining 1.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this thesis. With the low influence of the head's leadership on teacher performance, it is recommended that the headmaster's leadership pay attention to motivating teacher discipline in obeying the rules and regulations in carrying out teaching duties, instructing teachers to organize the administration of learning tools, and following up on academic supervision of teachers by using appropriate supervision approaches and techniques appropriate.

Abstract

EVALUATION OF THE VOCATIONAL TEACHER UPSKILLING PROGRAM ACCORDING TO THE BBPMPPV INDUSTRY STANDARDS BUSINESS AND TOURISM Abstract. Teachers are an important part of education that helps prepare students for success in their field. Professional teachers must understand teaching models that suit the needs, technological changes, trends, and future projections. To achieve this, education is needed to improve the skills and knowledge of SMK teachers. The Upskilling and Reskilling Program for Industry-Standard Vocational Teachers at BBPPMPV Business and Tourism is one of the priority programs of the Directorate of Partnership and Alignment with Business and Industry, Directorate General of Vocational Education, Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology. This study aims to evaluate and describe the Upskilling and Reskilling Program for industry-standard SMK teachers at BBPPMPV business and tourism in terms of context, input, process, and product (CIPP) components. This research uses qualitative methods. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Based on the available data and information, the results show that program planning is good. Some of the program planning is good, but some are sufficient to meet the criteria, implementation, and implementation. The program partially meets the criteria. But other aspects are quite good. The Context component requires program development, the Input component requires review and improvement as a refinement for the improvement of program components, Process and Product require review, review and improvement as an improvement and refinement of the program.

Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF TEACHERS' INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION IN IMPROVING STUDENT DISCIPLINETeachers have an important role in determining the success in influencing their students to improve discipline, closely related to the character inherent in the teacher himself. The purpose of this study is to determine how the influence of teacher interpersonal communication on the formation of student discipline. This study is a qualitative study, which uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were 5 teachers and 60 students. Data collection was carried out by interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that communication between teachers and students has not been running optimally in improving discipline. The factor behind this problem is the level of understanding between teachers and students regarding the importance of communication in the teaching and learning process is still low. So a teacher must continue to be able to improve his ability to convey his learning messages to students, without forgetting to involve all existing components, so that an understanding is built between teachers and students in order to achieve the goals of the teaching and learning process and pay attention to several inhibiting factors of the communication, namely, teachers as communicators, subject matter, media, students, effects, environment, feedback, and methods. Interpersonal communication between teachers and students can also change students' attitudes to be disciplined and can develop a disciplined attitude. This shows that interpersonal communication between teachers and students has a positive effect on student discipline.

Abstract

INCREASING TEACHER INNOVATIVENESS THROUGH STRENGTHENING TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND SELF-EFFICACYThis research aims to find efforts that can be made to increase teacher innovativeness by studying its relationship with Transformational Leadership and Self-Efficacy. The population of this study was 170 teachers, with a total sample of 120 Integrated Islamic Elementary School teachers in Cibinong District, whose determination used the Slovin formula with an error tolerance of 5%. Data was collected using instruments in questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The research results show three positive and very significant relationships. First, there is a positive and very significant relationship between the Transformational Leadership variable and Teacher Innovativeness, with a correlation coefficient of 0.818. Second, a positive and very significant relationship exists between Self-Efficacy and Innovativeness, with a correlation coefficient of 0.716. Third, there is a positive and very significant relationship between Transformational Leadership and Self-Efficacy and Teacher Innovativeness with a correlation coefficient of 0.854.

Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF SELF-EFFICACY, EMPOWERMENT, AND KNOWLEDGE SHARING ON INNOVATIVENESSThis study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy, empowerment, and knowledge sharing on the innovativeness of civil servant teachers at public elementary schools in Cileungsi District, Bogor Regency. This quantitative research uses path analysis (path analysis) to test the strength of the direct and indirect influence of the independent (exogenous) variables on the dependent (endogenous) variable. The study population was all PNS teachers at Public Elementary Schools in Cileungi District, Bogor Regency, totaling 244 people, spread across 54 Public Elementary Schools in Cileungsi District, Bogor Regency. Sampling used the multistage random sample to obtain 134 people. The study concluded that there was a very significant direct positive effect on self-efficacy on innovativeness (βy1=0.377, sign0.01); there is a very significant positive effect of empowerment on innovativeness (βy2=0.184, sign0.01); there is a very significant positive effect of knowledge sharing on innovativeness (βy3 =0,325; sign0.01); there is a positive and significant direct effect of self-efficacy on knowledge sharing (βY3.1=0,353, sign0.01); there is positive direct and significant effect empowerment on knowledge sharing (βy3.2 =0,115, sign0.01). Knowledge sharing has effectively mediated the effect of self-efficacy and empowerment toward innovation. Increasing the innovativeness of elementary school teachers in Cileungsi can be improved by strengthening self-efficacy, empowerment, and knowledge sharing.

Abstract

INCREASING JOB SATISFACTION THROUGH STRENGTHENING SELF-EFFICACY AND SUPERVISION OF SCHOOL PRINCIPALSThis study aims to find strategies and ways to increase teacher job satisfaction by examining the strength of the relationship between teacher job satisfaction and self-efficacy and principal supervision. This study uses a survey method with a correlational approach and SITOREM analysis to determine priorities and recommend indicators that need to be improved. The research sample was 119 non-permanent teachers in State Elementary Schools in East Bogor District. The results of the quantitative study found that all variables had a significant positive relationship, which, individually or collectively, showed a very strong relationship with job satisfaction. Based on the analysis stage of Scientific Identification Theory to Conduct Operation Research in Education Management (SITOREM), it can be identified the strength of influence between the research variables, and based on the weight of each indicator derived from the independent variable that has the largest contribution, the priority order of the indicators is obtained. Indicators that need to be improved immediately.

Abstract

IMPROVING TEACHERS' CREATIVITY THROUGH TRAINING EFFECTIVENESS, DIGITAL LITERACY, AND SELF-EFFICACYThe development of the world of education today requires teachers to be more creative and innovative. The development of ideas or ideas and creative teacher learning behavior is an essential factor in achieving adequate educational outcomes. Creative teachers will impact the organization and change the work environment positively. This study aims to find ways to increase teacher creativity by analyzing the influence of other variables. Data analysis used structural equation modeling (SEM) by conducting two tests, namely, the evaluation of the measurement model and the evaluation of the structure model. The research results show that; (a) training effectiveness has a positive effect on teacher creativity with a path coefficient value of (βyx1=0.296), (b) digital literacy has a positive effect on teacher creativity with a path coefficient value of (βyx2=0.050), (c) self-efficacy has a positive effect on teacher creativity with a path coefficient value of (βyx3=0.553), (d) training effectiveness has a positive effect on self- efficacy with a path coefficient value of (βx3x1=0.394), (e) digital literacy has a positive effect on self-efficacy with a path coefficient value of ( βx3x2=0.267), (f) there is an indirect positive effect between the effectiveness of training on teacher creativity through self- efficacy of (βx31Y=0.218), and (g) there is an indirect positive effect between digital literacy on teacher creativity through self- efficacy of (βx31Y = 0.147) means that the results of the structural model evaluation show a positive influence between training effectiveness, digital literacy d and self-efficacy on teacher creativity.
