Abstract

The low critical thinking abilities of students are caused by the application of non-innovative learning models. Learning is still teacher-centered so that students cannot develop critical thinking skills to the maximum. The aim of this research is to determine differences in critical thinking abilities of students who are treated using the Numbered Heads Together learning model. This research is quantitative research with the type of experimental research. The research was conducted in class IV of SD N 10 Gondosari. Data analysis was carried out using the t-test (Paired T Test). Based on the results of the T Test (Paired T Test) calculations, the Sig value is obtained. (2-tailed) is 0.000 which means Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05. From these calculations, the T test results were less than the significance level. It can be concluded that there is a difference in the average test results before and after the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model is implemented. There are significant differences in critical thinking abilities between students taught using the Numbered Heads Together learning model.

Abstract

Numeracy abilities and understanding mathematical concepts are interrelated. Numeracy abilities can increase if students understand mathematical concepts. Oleh karenaTherefore, the aim of these findings is to examine the relationship between understanding mathematical concepts and the numeracy abilities of elementary school students. Numerical skills have an important role in helping students understand mathematical concepts and apply them in real life situations, while a good understanding of mathematical concepts can help improve students' numeracy skills. For this topic, literature was selected through a screening process based on journal criteria published within the last five years. Data collection in this research involves analyzing data obtained from journals relevant to the research topic. Thus, the results of this research show that numeracy skills and understanding mathematical concepts influence each other and are important to develop further together.

Abstract

This research describes learning theory according to Humanistic Psychology and its implementation. Through the application of library research or library research (study) methods, the implementation of this research begins with problem formulation, focus preparation, study and then reading various reference libraries sourced from e-journals and digital books by understanding and studying them seriously until reaching the writing and organizing process. material. The research results show that humanistic learning theory places great emphasis on the importance of the content of a series of learning activities. The aim of learning according to humanistic theory is to make people more humane. Students are expected to be independent, brave, and not constrained by other people's opinions. They are also expected to manage their personality responsibly while adhering to all rules, norms, discipline, and ethical standards. Thus, the integration of humanistic psychology into education can help students understand themselves as humans.

Abstract

If students experience low self-confidence, if it cannot be handled properly, it will result in low learning independence and can hinder students' progress in the learning system. Therefore, the problem that will be studied in this research is: "Is there a significant relationship between self-confidence and student learning independence in Indonesian language subjects in class 3 at SDN Mangun Jaya 03". This type of research is quantitative and correlational based. This research was conducted in class III (A, B, C, D) of SDN Mangunjaya 03 semester 2 (even) of the 2023/2024 academic year with a population of 112 students. Researchers used cluster random sampling techniques with a minimum sample of 56 respondents. In the trial of the self-confidence variable instrument, only 25 valid items were obtained from 30 question items, while the learning independence variable only found 20 valid items from 24 question items, and all reliability test results were met. The prerequisite test results showed that the normality and linearity tests had been fulfilled. The correlation test result between the self-confidence variable and the learning independence variable is 0.432, which has a positive value and is included in the medium relationship level category. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between self-confidence and student learning independence in Indonesian language subjects in class 3 at SDN Mangun Jaya 03.

Study This is Study Classroom Action (PTK) uses the scramble learning model with do stages planning, action, observation/observation, reflection. Subject study this is student class V of SD Negeri Tanggan 1 for the 2022/2023 academic year. Technique collecting data by observation, tests, and documentation. Analysis data use formula percentage. The research results show an increase in learning achievement. There is enhancement on mark average student from 62.78 on implementation pre cycle become 71.78 on cycle I. And There is enhancement return become 81.64 on cycle II. Ascension the Also happen on amount student Which value sufficient Criteria Completeness Minimum (KKM) ie ≥75. In pre cycle only There is One student (7.14%) Which fulfil KKM. Then to eight students (57.14%) Increase in cycle I. And in cycle II to 12 students who met the KKM or 85.71% of all students. So with these results, this research can reach target with exists more from 75% student Which obtain mark in accordance with the KKM ie ≥75.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of UNESCO and PISA which stated that the literacy rate in Indonesia is still low, especially in beginning reading in elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to measure the initial reading ability of elementary school students, especially in grade I students. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a quantitative approach. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling techniques. In obtaining data, researchers conducted initial tests (pretest) and final tests (posttest) in the form of preliminary reading tests, observation sheets and interviews. The data technique used is to use descriptive analysis techniques and descriptive statistical analysis by testing hypotheses using t-test statistics.. The data obtained are then analyzed using statistical analysis techniques, namely descriptive statistics. Descriptive statistical analysis data obtained average value (pretest) = 69,17 is in the very low category and average value (posttest) = 83,00 is in the high category. From the results of the hypothesis test analysis using paired sample test, a sig value = 0,001 is obtained in accordance with the basis for decision making, if the hypothesis test of the probability value of significance < 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Then significantly the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. Based on the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that the synthetic analytical structural method (SAS) with the help of big book media affects the initial reading ability in grade I students of SDN Kebalen 01 Kabupaten Bekasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the card sort type of active learning method on the ability to think creatively in class V social studies students at SDN Marga Jaya I, Bekasi City. This study uses a quantitative approach, with the subject being Class V teachers and fifth grade students at SDN Marga Jaya I, Bekasi City. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. In the experimental class there were 27 students, and in the control class there were 26 students. In obtaining the data, the researcher used the Social Sciences Creative Thinking Ability test method for elementary school students in the form of essay choice questions, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is inferential analysis by testing the hypothesis using the t-test statistic, a significant level of 5% = 0.05. Inferential analysis is an analytical technique that can be used to determine whether the hypothesis in the study is accepted or rejected. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of the card sort type of active learning method on the ability to think creatively in class V social studies students at SDN Marga Jaya I, Bekasi City. This is shown in the results of the average value of the experimental class after being given the card sort learning treatment, which is 67.11, and the control class which is given the conventional learning treatment is 61.92.
