Abstract

The shift in the global education paradigm demands holistic learning quality beyond quantitative achievement. Despite having ICT-literate educators, SD Negeri 1 Godong faces the challenge of numeracy stagnation (70.83%) and character fluctuations. This research is a qualitative case study aimed at analyzing the development of vision, culture, and learning leadership in improving educational quality. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and Education Report Card documents, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles et al. The results show that the vision of the "Center for Literacy and Technology" has been institutionalized, but teachers' use of ICT is still visual-passive and therefore has not optimally boosted numeracy. The principal's leadership has been proven to be supportive of teacher self-efficacy, but requires strengthening of cognitive activation-based clinical supervision. It is concluded that sustainable quality requires the synergy of digital innovation, character strengthening, and logical reasoning simultaneously by instructional leadership.

Abstract

The escalation of child violence and post-disaster infrastructure damage in elementary schools demands a resilient leadership model. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the principal's Idealized Influence and Inspirational Motivation strategies in building trust and resilience within the school community. Using a qualitative case study method at SDN 2 Ketangirejo, data was collected through interviews, observations, and analysis of the 2023-2024 Education Report Card. The findings indicate that the leadership's moral example and inspirational vision successfully created a "psychological shield" that compensated for physical vulnerability, as evidenced by an increase in the security index from 68.02 to 75.99. However, administrative vulnerabilities were identified in the instructional leadership aspect. As a solution, a "Resilient-Systemic-Instructional" (RSI) model was formulated that integrates collective leadership, data-driven operational standardization, and strengthened academic supervision to ensure the sustainability of a comprehensive school safety climate.

Abstract

The title of this thesis is “The Effect of Local Taxes, Local Retributions, and Proceeds from the Management of Separated Regional Assets on Local Own-Source Revenue in Jambi City”. This study aims to analyze the effect of Local Taxes, Local Retributions, and Proceeds from the Management of Separated Regional Assets on the Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) of Jambi City during the period 2015–2024. The background of this study is based on the importance of optimizing sources of Local Own-Source Revenue in supporting the implementation of regional autonomy and increasing the fiscal independence of local governments. PAD is one of the main indicators in assessing the financial capacity of a region in financing development and public services. The theoretical foundation in this study describes the concept of Local Own-Source Revenue along with its components based on the applicable laws and regulations, as well as theories regarding regional financial management. This study uses a quantitative method with a multiple linear regression approach through the SPSS 26 program using time series data. The secondary data used are the Budget Realization Reports of the Jambi City Government for the years 2015–2024. The analysis techniques used include the classical assumption test, partial test (t-test), and simultaneous test (F-test). Based on the results of the study, simultaneously Local Taxes, Local Retributions, and Proceeds from the Management of Separated Regional Assets have a significant effect on Local Own-Source Revenue. Partially, Local Taxes have a positive and significant effect on PAD, while Local Retributions and Proceeds from the Management of Separated Regional Assets show a smaller effect on PAD. The coefficient of determination indicates that the independent variables are able to explain most of the variation in PAD.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the legal protection afforded to Notaries as reporting parties and the reporting obligation of Notaries in money laundering cases. The context of this research is the conflict between the Notary's obligation to maintain the confidentiality of client information in accordance with notary law and the obligation to report suspicious financial transactions to prevent and combat money laundering. This conflict generates legal uncertainty regarding the boundaries of a Notary's accountability and the legal safeguards that are available to them when they fulfil their reporting obligations. The urgency of this study is derived from the necessity of more defined legal regulations to guarantee legal certainty and protection for Notaries while simultaneously bolstering efforts to combat money laundering. This investigation implements a normative juridical methodology that incorporates conceptual and statutory methodologies. The findings indicate that the regulations necessitating Notaries to submit reports must be prioritised through the application of the lex specialis derogat legi generali principle. Consequently, Notaries who report in good faith and adhere to the relevant legal procedures are entitled to legal protection.

Abstract

Digital da’wah content on YouTube shows a significant positive relationship with the psychological well-being of Islamic boarding school students. This study aims to examine the relationship between the intensity of watching da’wah content on YouTube and the psychological well-being (PWB) of students at Ma’had Al-Jami’ah UIN Palangka Raya based on Ajzen’s viewing intensity theory and Ryff’s PWB theory. A mixed-methods approach with an explanatory design was employed. Quantitative analysis results indicate a very strong and significant positive relationship between the intensity of watching YouTube da’wah content and PWB (r = 0.934), accounting for 86.0% of the variance in PWB. These findings indicate that the higher the intensity with which students access YouTube da’wah content, the higher their level of psychological well-being. Qualitative findings reinforce these results by demonstrating the connection between watching YouTube da’wah content, as per Ajzen’s theory, and the reinforcement of the six dimensions of PWB identified by Ryff: self-acceptance, positive relationships with others, autonomy, environmental mastery, life purpose, and personal growth. The contribution of this study to Islamic education is to provide an empirical basis for the utilization of digital da'wah media such as YouTube as a means of religious guidance and the enhancement of the psychological well-being of Islamic university students within the Islamic higher education environment.

Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in improving elementary school students’ critical thinking skills. The research employed a qualitative approach with an intrinsic case study design conducted in a public elementary school in Indonesia. Participants consisted of one classroom teacher and ten fifth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, combined with thematic analysis procedures. The findings reveal four main themes: (1) construction of understanding through authentic problem exploration, (2) collaborative dynamics and reflective dialogue, (3) transformation of the teacher’s role as a cognitive facilitator, and (4) internalization of reflective attitudes in project completion. The study demonstrates that PjBL fosters analytical reasoning, evaluation of alternatives, inferential thinking, and metacognitive reflection through contextual and collaborative learning experiences. The results highlight that the effectiveness of PjBL is not solely reflected in measurable outcomes but also in the meaningful learning processes that shape students’ critical dispositions. This study contributes theoretically to strengthening the integration of social constructivist theory and critical thinking frameworks, and practically provides insights for teachers in designing reflective and dialogic learning environments at the elementary level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relevance of a Social Studies curriculum based on deep learning in preparing students to face the challenges of the Industry 5.0 era. The study employs a qualitative research design based on a literature review by examining recent scholarly works on deep learning pedagogy, Social Studies curriculum development, and competencies required in the Industry 5.0 era. Data were collected from academic journals, books, and policy reports published within the last five years and were subsequently analyzed using content analysis to identify key themes related to curriculum innovation, student competencies, and instructional strategies. The findings indicate that the integration of deep learning in Social Studies learning can enhance students’ critical literacy, collaboration skills, digital awareness, and social responsibility. Project-based learning, inquiry-based activities, and technology-supported instruction provide meaningful and contextual learning experiences by connecting social knowledge with real-life issues. However, this study also identifies several challenges in implementation, including limited teacher readiness, unequal access to digital infrastructure, and the need for systematic professional development. In conclusion, a deep learning–based Social Studies curriculum is highly relevant for preparing students to become adaptive, ethical, and socially responsible citizens in the Industry 5.0 era, although its successful implementation requires curriculum redesign, enhancement of teacher capacity, and adequate educational policy support to ensure an equitable and sustainable transformation of Social Studies education.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a non-communicable disease with a significant global impact and an increasing incidence rate. Indonesia records one of the highest diabetes rates, particularly in the province of DKI Jakarta, which shows the highest national prevalence. This observational study with a cross-sectional design aims to evaluate the factors influencing the onset of DM in the Jakarta area using data from the 2023 Indonesia National Health Survey (SKI). This research involves participants over the age of 15. Analysis was conducted using univariate, bivariate (chi-square test), and multivariate methods with the Logistic Regression method, while considering the complexity of the research design. Research findings indicate that age, education level, and comorbidities are factors that significantly influence the incidence of DM. Those below the productive age group are at a higher risk of experiencing DM (OR = 2.268). Secondary education lowers the risk compared to higher education (OR = 0.611). Comorbidity is the main risk factor, increasing the probability of DM incidence by 6.229 times. These findings emphasize the importance of managing comorbidities and implementing appropriate preventive measures for at-risk individuals in efforts to manage diabetes in major cities.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a common problem experienced by students, especially during the final assignment or thesis completion stage. This behavior can be influenced by various psychological factors, including self-efficacy and self-regulated learning. This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy and self-regulated learning with academic procrastination in final-year students at UNNES. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research sample consisted of 293 final-year students selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a self-efficacy scale, a self-regulated learning scale, and an academic procrastination scale. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis showed that self-efficacy had a beta coefficient of -0.172 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). This indicates that self-efficacy has a negative and significant effect on academic procrastination. The self-regulated learning variable has a beta coefficient value of -0.675 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). This indicates that self-regulated learning has a negative and significant effect on academic procrastination and is the most dominant variable in predicting students' academic procrastination. The novelty of this research lies in the empirical finding that, in the context of final-year students completing their theses, self-regulated learning has a more dominant influence than self-efficacy in predicting academic procrastination. The results of this study are expected to serve as a basis for the development of guidance and counseling services in higher education institutions to help students manage their learning process more effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze education quality management based on human resource (HR) revitalization at MTs Al-Ma’arif Jemaja, Anambas Islands Regency. The main problem addressed in this research is the low quality of education caused by limited teacher competence, inadequate facilities, weak institutional governance, and restricted funding in a remote island context. To address these issues, this study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and foundation board members. The findings reveal that education quality is significantly influenced by the condition of human resources, particularly teachers’ qualifications and professional development. In addition, structural challenges such as limited funding, inadequate infrastructure, and passive foundation management further hinder institutional performance. The study also finds that HR revitalization strategies such as recruiting qualified teachers, providing continuous training, diversifying funding sources, and strengthening foundation governance play a crucial role in improving education quality. These efforts enhance teacher competence, increase motivation, and support better institutional management. In conclusion, integrated and context-based HR revitalization is an effective approach to improving education quality, especially in remote and resource-limited madrasah environments, and can serve as a model for similar institutions facing comparable challenges.
