Abstract

ABSTRAK This research evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of multicultural education strategies in schools in Jakarta, Indonesia. The main objectives of the research are to identify the obstacles faced in the development and implementation of a multicultural curriculum, assess the impact of multicultural literacy activities on students' knowledge and attitudes, evaluate the role of partnerships between schools, parents, and communities, and examine the optimization of digital platforms in multicultural teaching. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis at the research site at Madrasah Ibtida'iyah Negeri 1 Banyuwangi. The research results show that the multicultural curriculum positively impacts students' understanding and attitudes towards cultural diversity. Multicultural literacy activities and partnerships with parents and communities strengthen inclusive attitudes and respect for differences among students. Additionally, using digital technology in multicultural teaching increases student interest and engagement. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of a holistic approach that integrates various strategies to create an inclusive learning environment and support cultural diversity. This research provides an empirical basis for developing more effective multicultural education policies and practices in Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi implementasi dan efektivitas strategi pendidikan multikultural di sekolah-sekolah di Jakarta, Indonesia. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi hambatan yang dihadapi dalam pengembangan dan implementasi kurikulum multikultural, menilai dampak kegiatan literasi multikultural terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap siswa, mengevaluasi peran kemitraan antara sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat, serta mengkaji optimalisasi platform digital dalam pengajaran multikultural. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan analisis dokumen di lokasi penelitian di Madrasah Ibtida'iyah Negeri 1 Banyuwangi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum multikultural berdampak positif terhadap pemahaman dan sikap siswa terhadap keragaman budaya. Kegiatan literasi multikultural dan kemitraan dengan orang tua dan masyarakat memperkuat sikap inklusif dan penghargaan terhadap perbedaan di antara para siswa. Selain itu, penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pengajaran multikultural meningkatkan minat dan keterlibatan siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan holistik yang mengintegrasikan berbagai strategi untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif dan mendukung keragaman budaya. Penelitian ini memberikan dasar empiris untuk mengembangkan kebijakan dan praktik pendidikan multikultural yang lebih efektif di Indonesia. Abstract

ABSTRAK This Article's Objective is to see the role of Daqizh Islamic boarding schools which have flexible methods as a solution for memorizing the Qur'an who are also students. This research uses a qualitative approach with field research methods, and data is collected through participant observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that Daqizh Islamic boarding schools have an important role as a forum for developing tahfidz Al-Qur'an, especially for someone who is also a student. With its characteristic of being flexible and adapting to lecture activities, however, for students who are determined to maintain their memorization, the Daqizh Islamic boarding school is very wide open to be able to facilitate them. Tujuannya ditulis artikel untuk melihat peran pesantren Daqish yang mempunyai metode fleksibel sebagau solusi para penghafal Qur'an yang sekaligus menyandang sebagai mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metodefield research, dan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesantren daqizh mempunyai peran penting sebagai wadah pengembangan tahfidz Al-Qur'an khususnya bagi seseorang yang sekaligus menyandang sebagai mahasiwa. Dengan ciri khasnya yakni fleksibel dan menyesuaikan dengan kegiatan perkuliahan, namun tetap bagi para mahasiswa yang memang sudah bertekad untuk menjaga hafalannya, maka pesantren daqizh sangat membuka lebar untuk bisa mengfasilitasi mereka Keywords: Development, Islamic Boarding School, Tahfidz, Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

ABSTRACK The meaning of life is an important aspect of mankind in the era of disruption. The current of globalization has made mankind lose the real meaning of his life. Modern man emphasizes material achievement and neglects spiritual needs. The purpose of this research is to explore the innovation of higher education in developing the meaning of life through spiritual intelligence that is the summit of human intelligence itself. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study approach. Data is taken with in-depth interview techniques and observations. The main informants in this study are the nurses and all the managers who are involved in the management of the training. Data analysis is carried out in three stages: condensation, display, and verification. The results of this study show that spiritual intelligence is very closely related to the meaning of human life. People who have spiritual intelligence have spiritual consideration in making decisions. It's different from emotional intelligence which emphasizes more on responding to the human needs of both individuals and groups. Spiritual intelligence drives one to have self-awareness, empathy, compassion, gratitude, forgiveness, and a sense of interconnection with others and the universe. The era of disruption keeps mankind alive in anxiety and uncertainty. There are several strategies that can be implemented to develop the meaning of life through the development of spiritual intelligence, namely (1) integrating spiritual and emotional intelligence into the curriculum, (2) integrating mindfulness and personality rituals into the educational system, (3) instilling the sense and significance of life in learning. Makna hidup merupakan aspek penting bagi manusia di era disrupsi. Arus globalisasi telah membuat manusia kehilangan makna hidup yang sesungguhnya. Manusia modern lebih menekankan pencapaian materi dan mengabaikan kebutuhan spiritual. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi inovasi perguruan tinggi dalam mengembangkan makna hidup melalui kecerdasan spiritual yang merupakan puncak dari kecerdasan manusia itu sendiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diambil dengan teknik wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Informan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah para perawat dan seluruh pengelola yang terlibat dalam pengelolaan pelatihan. Analisis data dilakukan dalam tiga tahap: kondensasi, display, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan spiritual sangat erat kaitannya dengan makna hidup manusia. Orang yang memiliki kecerdasan spiritual memiliki pertimbangan spiritual dalam mengambil keputusan. Berbeda dengan kecerdasan emosional yang lebih menekankan pada respon terhadap kebutuhan manusia baik individu maupun kelompok. Kecerdasan spiritual mendorong seseorang untuk memiliki kesadaran diri, empati, kasih sayang, rasa syukur, pemaaf, dan rasa keterkaitan dengan orang lain dan alam semesta. Era disrupsi membuat manusia hidup dalam kegelisahan dan ketidakpastian. Ada beberapa strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengembangkan makna hidup melalui pengembangan kecerdasan spiritual, yaitu (1) mengintegrasikan kecerdasan spiritual dan emosional ke dalam kurikulum, (2) mengintegrasikan ritual kesadaran dan kepribadian ke dalam sistem pendidikan, (3) menanamkan rasa dan makna hidup dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Education plays an important role in the development of Islamic morals (akhlak). In Islam, Islamic moral teachings play an important role in guiding individuals to live a pious life. Morals in Islam are essentially the basic values ​​and foundations of a person's character. This study attempts to describe and analyze Islamic moral education. This study uses a library method that uses text sources such as journals and books. The results of this study indicate that Islamic moral development faces the influence and challenges of global secularism and a lack of resources. The solution to facing these challenges is primarily through a training program for Educators. Furthermore, Islamic moral education can be implemented in the school curriculum through the integration of the curriculum and extracurricular activities and the involvement of parents. Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam pembinaan moral Islam (akhlak). Dalam Islam, ajaran akhlak Islam memiliki peranan penting dalam membimbing individu untuk menjalani kehidupan yang saleh. Akhlak dalam Islam pada hakikatnya merupakan nilai dasar dan fondasi karakter seseorang.  Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pendidikan akhlak Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan yang menggunakan sumber teks seperti jurnal dan buku. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan akhlak Islam menghadapi pengaruh dan tantangan dari paham sekuler global serta kurangnya sumber daya. Adapun solusi dalam menghadapi tantangan ini yang terutama adalah dengan program pelatihan bagi Pendidik. Selanjutnya pendidikan akhlak Islam dapat diimplementasikan dalam kurikulum sekolah melalui integrasi kurikulum dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler serta keterlibatan Orang Tua. Abstract

Abstrak Walisongo has a great influence on Islamic education. This is proven by several relics of teachings that still survive until the current era. This study aims to explore and describe the role of the Walisongo in Islamic education, the basis for internalization and syncretization of Islamic education during the Walisongo era. By using the library research method, researchers collect and explore data from various literature such as books, journal articles, published research results, and others. The next step is for researchers to reduce data and analyze data so that they can stick to the research objectives and draw conclusions. Researchers also discuss and confirm the results of the research with experts, so that the results and/or conclusions of this research can be scientifically accounted for. The results of the study: first, the role of the Walisongo in Islamic education is in accordance with the context of their time in the 14th century and by the conditions, environment, and situation of the community facing that era. Second, the basis for the internalization of the Walisongo is wisdom so that it can combine adat and culture with Islamic teachings through Islamic education that is rahmatan lil alamin. Meanwhile, (third) the basis for the syncretization of the Walisongo is wisdom so that some adat and culture of the community that are less in accordance with Islamic teachings can be reviewed peacefully and elegantly through Islamic education that is bismillah Walisongo memiliki pengaruh besar dalam pendidikan Islam. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan beberapa peninggalan-peninggalan ajaran yang masih bertahan hingga era saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali dan mendiskripsikan tentang kiprah walisongo dalam pendidikan Islam, landasan internalisasi dan sinkretisasi Pendidikan Islam pada masa Walisongo. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian Library research, peneliti mengumpulkan dan menggali data dari berbagai literatur seperti buku, artikel jurnal, dan hasil riset yang telah terbit dan lain-lain. Langkah selanjutnya peneliti melakukan reduksi data dan analisis data sehingga dapat tetap pada tujuan penelitian dan dapat mengambil kesimpulan. Peneliti juga melakukan diskusi dan konfirmasi terkait hasil penelitian kepada para ahli, sehingga hasil dan atau kesimpulan penelitian ini dapat dipertanggungjawabkan secara ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pertama, kiprah Walisongo dalam pendidikan Islam sesuai dengan konteks zamannya di era abad ke-XIV-an dan sesuai dengan kondisi, lingkungan, dan situasi masyarakat yang dihadapi di era tersebut. Kedua, landasan internalisasi walisongo adalah kebijaksanaan sehingga dapat memadukan antara adat dan kebudayaan dengan ajaran Islam melalui pendidikan Islam yang rahmatan lil alamin. dan, (ketiga) landasan sinkretisasi walisongo adalah kearifan sehingga beberapa adat dan kebudayaan masyarakat yang kurang sesuai dengan ajaran Islam dapat direvisi dengan damai dan elegan melalui pendidikan Islam yang bismillah Keywords: Role of the Walisongo, syncretization, internalization, Islamic education

Abstract

The Qur'an as the main source of Islamic teachings must be studied and understood by all Muslims. From the early days of the revelation of the Qur'an until now, the process of learning the Qur'an has experienced dynamic developments, from traditional methods to methods that utilize modern technology. Gamification is one of the modern methods that aims to provide new experiences to students in studying the Qur'an. This method is expected to increase the enthusiasm and interest of students in studying the Qur'an because it is packaged in a fun game method without leaving the substance of the teachings contained therein. This article is a study that uses a library study method that attempts to examine various relevant literature, to draw conclusions. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that gamification can increase students' interest in studying the Qur'an. This method collaborates various approaches such as quizzes, rewards, fun story telling and is able to increase students' focus and motivation in completing learning while still being able to instill the core of the teachings contained therein. Al-Qur’an sebagai sumber utama ajaran Islam wajib dipelajari dan dipahami oleh selurah umat Islam. Dari masa awal turunnya Al-Qur’an hingga saat ini, proses pembelajaran Al-Qur’an telah mengalami dinamika perkembangan, dari cara tradisional hingga metode yang memanfaatkan teknologi modern. Gamifikasi merupakan salah satu metode modern yang bertujuan untuk memberi pengalaman baru kepada para pelajar dalam mempelajari Al-Qur’an. Metode ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan antusias dan minat para pelajar dalam mempelajari Al-Qur’an karena dikemas dalam metode permainan yang menyenangkan tanpa meninggalkan substansi dari ajaran yang terkandung di dalamnya. Artikel ini merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan metode studi pustaka yang berusaha mengkaji berbagai literature yang relevan, untuk diambillah Kesimpulan. Berdasarkan analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa gamifikasi dapat menambah minat pelajar dalam mempelajari Al-Qur’an. Metode ini mengkolaboraiskan berbagai pendekatan seperti kuis, reward, story telling yang menyenangkan dan mampu menambah fokus pelajar serta motivasi mereka dalam menyelasikan pembelajaran dengan tetap dapat menanamkan inti dari ajaran yang terkandung di dalamnya.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Islamic education policies in Probolinggo Regency, focusing on enhancing accessibility and improving the quality of learning. The background of this research highlights the importance of Islamic education in shaping the cultural identity of the community and the challenges faced in improving education quality in the region. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method, gathering data through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document studies related to the Islamic education policies in Probolinggo. The results of the study show that local government policies, such as expanding educational infrastructure, integrating Islamic education into the general education system, and utilizing digital technology, have improved educational access in remote areas. However, challenges such as digital infrastructure gaps and the quality of human resources still need to be addressed. The study concludes that continuous evaluation and policy adjustments are required for the effectiveness of Islamic education policies in adapting to changing times. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of strengthening digital infrastructure, continuous training for teachers, and closer collaboration between the government and non-governmental educational institutions to ensure sustainable and relevant Islamic education quality.

Abstract

Students in Islam have an important role as seekers of knowledge and moral and spiritual shapers. This research aims to analyze the hadith about the nature, obligations, and ethics of students in pursuing knowledge. Using qualitative methods with a literature approach and descriptive analysis, this study found that students are required to maintain straight intentions, respect teachers, andhave a humble attitude and seriousness in learning. The hadiths studied affirm that seeking knowledge is the duty of every Muslim, which must be done with good intentions and the right ethics. This finding has implications for the Islamic education system in shaping the character of students who have noble character and are responsible for the knowledge obtained. By understanding the role and ethics in pursuing knowledge, students not only gain knowledge but also blessings in their lives

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the contribution of Islamic education (PAI) learning based on PBL with the ADDIE development model. The research method is a descriptive qualitative method implemented at MAN 2 Model Medan. The steps in the learning process use PAI learning based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) with the ADDIE development model. Data collection through student questionnaires about PBL and ADDIE learning syntax (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The results of the student questionnaire showed that there was a relationship between PBL and ADDIE before the learning process, totaling 16 students, and after the learning process, totaling 19 students. The average student questionnaire before PBL was 64.3, and ADDIE was 67.8. The average student questionnaire after PBL was 66.0, and ADDIE was 72.7. N-Gain 0.6 is classified as moderate, indicating the effectiveness of learning in improving student learning outcomes, and the learning program has contributed to student understanding

Abstract

Islamic education in a multicultural society has an important role in building tolerance, openness, and social harmony. Cultural and religious diversity demands an inclusive Islamic education approach to create a peaceful and respectful society. This article discusses the concept of Islamic education in a multicultural society as well as strategies for internalizing moderate Islamic values through community-based programs. Using an ethnographic approach, this study aims to describe how community-based Islamic education programs, such as recitation, lectures, and faith-based social activities, can help instill Islamic moderation values in people's lives. The results of the study show that communities that have community-based Islamic education programs are more likely to develop attitudes of tolerance and openness than communities without similar programs. Although there are various challenges in its implementation, such as cultural resistance and limited resources, solutions can be found through strengthening the capacity of educators, collaboration between educational institutions and the government, and the use of technology in supporting moderate Islamic education.
