Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies implemented by Christian Religious Education teachers in instilling caring character among students at SD Negeri Sayangan Surakarta. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design. The research participants consisted of one Christian Religious Education teacher, one principal, one third-grade homeroom teacher, and ten third-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the strategies used by Christian Religious Education teachers to instill caring character included integrating Christian values into classroom learning, providing exemplary behavior, implementing habituation activities, encouraging cooperation among students, and offering guidance and motivation. These strategies were supported by the school's culture, which promotes respect, empathy, responsibility, and mutual care among students. The study concludes that the consistent implementation of these strategies contributes positively to the development of students' caring character in their daily lives.

Bansole Arki 2025, Analysis of Difficulties in Reading Comprehension of Fiction Stories in Fourth Grade Students of SDI Bertingkat Oepura 4, Kupang City. Yulsi Marselina Nitte, S.H., M. Pd. This study aims to describe the difficulties in reading comprehension of fiction stories in fourth grade students of SDI Bertingkat Oepura 4, Kupang City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. This study aims to apply three elements in reading comprehension of fiction stories: the main types of difficulties faced in reading, factors that influence reading ability, and strategies applied to improve reading ability. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data collection instruments in this study were interview sheets, observation guidelines, and test sheets. The results of the study indicate that the reading comprehension ability of fourth-grade students in fictional stories is as follows: Students have difficulty understanding fictional stories due to limited vocabulary mastery, which makes it difficult for them to understand the meaning of words and phrases in the text, which hinders comprehensive comprehension of the story. Students often have difficulty understanding the structure of fictional stories, such as plot, moral, and narrative, so they cannot follow the story well. Students have difficulty identifying themes, so they have difficulty connecting events in the story with the main idea.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of tax officer services and the implementation of e-filing on taxpayer compliance, with tax awareness serving as a moderating variable among individual taxpayers at the Tax Service Office (KPP) Pratama II Padang. The sampling technique employed the Slovin formula, resulting in a sample of 100 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The data were processed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS).The results indicate that tax officer services have a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance. Meanwhile, the implementation of e-filing does not have a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance. Furthermore, tax awareness does not moderate the relationship between tax officer services and taxpayer compliance, nor does it strengthen the relationship between the implementation of e-filing and taxpayer compliance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of PSAK 115 on the financial performance of PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN) and PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) using a comparative case study approach. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method involving document analysis of financial statements and Notes to the Financial Statements (CALK) for the 2019–2024 period. The analysis focuses on changes in revenue recognition policies, changes in the presentation of financial statement accounts, and their impact on the Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Debt-to-Assets Ratio (DAR), and Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER). The results of the study show that the implementation of PSAK 115 changed the revenue recognition mechanism from a percentage-of-completion approach to a performance obligation approach. This change resulted in adjustments to revenue, contract liabilities, and retained earnings, particularly during the initial phase of implementation. The impact of PSAK 115’s implementation differed between the two companies. APLN exhibited greater fluctuations in financial performance due to the nature of its apartment and commercial property projects, which are highly dependent on the timing of unit handover. In contrast, SMRA demonstrated relatively more stable performance, supported by its township development business model and contributions from recurring income. The research findings indicate that differences in business models are a key factor influencing the magnitude of the impact of PSAK 115 implementation on the financial performance of real estate companies.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The rapid development of digital technology has transformed English language learning by providing various opportunities for students to access learning resources, interact with digital platforms, and develop language skills. However, successful digital integration depends not only on technological availability but also on students’ acceptance and willingness to use digital technologies. This study aimed to investigate vocational high school students’ acceptance of digitalization in English language learning based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), focusing on Perceived Usefulness (PU) and Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU). This study employed an explanatory sequential mixed-methods design. Quantitative data were collected through a close-ended questionnaire administered to nineteen vocational high school students, while qualitative data were obtained through open-ended questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with selected participants. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and thematic analysis based on the TAM framework. The findings revealed that students demonstrated a high level of acceptance toward digitalization in English learning. The results showed that Perceived Usefulness obtained an overall mean score of 3.86, indicating that students considered digital technologies beneficial for improving English skills, accessing learning materials, increasing engagement, and supporting task completion. Meanwhile, Perceived Ease of Use achieved an overall mean score of 3.70, suggesting that students perceived digital technologies as easy to operate despite several technical challenges. The study concludes that students’ acceptance of digitalization is strongly influenced by their perceptions of usefulness and ease of use. The findings provide practical implications for English teachers and schools in designing accessible and effective digital learning environments. Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model based on the Afifedu game on students' mathematical understanding ability in addition for second-grade elementary school students. This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data were collected through pretests and posttests of mathematical understanding ability. The results showed that the mean score of the experimental class increased from 61.25 to 80.30, while the control class increased from 51.80 to 59.85. The independent samples t-test yielded a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two classes. The effect size analysis showed that the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model based on the Afifedu game had a high effect on students' mathematical understanding ability. Therefore, the model can improve students' mathematical understanding ability in addition.

Abstract

The problem identified in the study is that second-grade students struggle with two-digit vertical addition; they tend to calculate from the front (starting with the tens digit) because they do not fully grasp the concept of vertical addition, resulting in poor learning outcomes. This study aimed to determine the effect of using the “Jusun” board as a teaching aid on students’ learning outcomes in mathematics, specifically on the topic of column addition, for second-grade students at SDI Watugong. This study was an experimental study using a one- group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 10 students. Data collection techniques included observation, testing, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involved a normality test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the mean posttest score (68) was higher than the pretest score (52); the calculated t-value was 6.332, which was greater than the critical t-value of 1.812 at a significance level of 0.05. Thus, Ho was rejected, and Hi was accepted. The use of the Jusun Board as a teaching aid had an effect on students’ learning outcomes in the mathematics subject, specifically on the topic of column addition, for second-grade students at SDI Watugong. Abstract

This research aims to develop a motorcycle rubber mounting puller tool as a learning media to improve the competence of 11th-grade students at SMK Muhammadiyah Petanahan in the disassembly and assembly process of the motorcycle engineering department. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4-D (Four-D) development model from Thiagarajan, which consists of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The subjects of the trial were 10 students of class XI and one motorcycle engineering teacher at SMK Muhammadiyah Petanahan. The research instruments used were material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. Based on the results of the material expert validation and media expert validation, it shows that the motorcycle rubber mounting puller tool is very feasible with a percentage of 90%. The results of the student responses in the field trial obtained an average percentage of 93%. The teacher's response to the development of the rubber mounting puller tool obtained a percentage of 93.3%. With the percentage obtained, it is included in the very feasible category. In addition, from the trial results, it was also found that students stated that this tool is practical to use, supported by a simple design. This shows that the developed tool is feasible and can be used for the teaching and learning process in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the characteristics of students' religious awareness and to analyze the challenges, adaptation processes, and changes in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) practices in fostering religious awareness among students at SMKN 1 Dlanggu Mojokerto. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model, which includes data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that students' religious awareness is reflected in their understanding of religious teachings, worship practices, internalization of religious values, religious experiences, and participation in religious activities, although the consistency of worship is still influenced by various factors. The study also found that Islamic Religious Education practices face challenges arising from technological developments, environmental factors, and students' characteristics. To address these challenges, teachers adapted their instructional strategies and strengthened the school's religious culture, resulting in more contextual, adaptive, and student-centered learning practices. Therefore, adaptive Islamic Religious Education practices contribute to the sustainable development of students' religious awareness.

Abstract

The issue addressed in this study is that students' vocabulary mastery remains low; they struggle to comprehend word meanings, synonyms, antonyms, and word usage within sentences. Furthermore, instruction has not sufficiently incorporated activities that actively involve students, thereby limiting opportunities for interaction, discussion, and the identification of word pairs—factors that ultimately impact student learning outcomes. This study aimed to determine the effect of the "Make A Match" cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject, specifically in the vocabulary unit, for fourth-grade students at Napunglangir Public Elementary School. This study was a quantitative, pre-experimental study using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 18 fourth-grade students at Napunglangir Public Elementary School. The data collection techniques relied on tests and observations. The research instruments consisted of test items and observation sheets. The data analysis techniques employed a normality test and a hypothesis test. The results showed that the percentage of students achieving mastery increased from 0% on the pretest to 77.78% on the posttest. The results of the normality test using the Shapiro-Wilk test showed a significance value of 0.06 for the pretest and 0.07 for the posttest. Since both significance values were greater than 0.05, the data were deemed to be normally distributed and thus met the requirements for a Paired Sample t-test. The results of the Paired-Sample t-test showed a significance value (Sig., 2-tailed) of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating that the implementation of the "Make A Match" learning model had a significant effect on student learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject, specifically the vocabulary unit, for fourth-grade students at Napunglangir Public Elementary School.
