Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method, data collectiontechniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The informants inthis study consisted of two teachers, namely the head of the madrasah, a class Vteacher and class V students of MIS NWDI 02 Kelayu. The subject of this study ishow the role of school culture in the formation of religious character of class Vstudents. The population in the class is 33 students. The results of the study showthat the religious character of students is formed through several types of schoolculture, namely praying Duha' and Zuhur in congregation, reading the Yasin surah,memorization, selecting young preachers (pildacil), one day one surah (one day onesurah), listening to lectures, and carrying out the Commemoration of IslamicHolidays (PHBI) which has been determined by the school. So it is concluded thatschool culture has an important role and a big impact on the formation of religiouscharacter of class V students of MIS NWDI 02 Kelayu. The research results showthat there are 5 students out of 33 students who still often arrive late whenparticipating in the school's IMTAQ cultural activities, wear incomplete clothing, andplay during IMTAQ activities so that special guidance is needed from teachers, bothclass teachers and Islamic religious education teachers in handling them.

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials using Hayzine Flipbook based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) and examine its effectiveness in improving student understanding. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which included the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The instruments used in this study were using media expert and material expert validation sheets, educator questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The validation results by media experts with a score of 55 in the range of 51 < X ≤ 63 so that it can be categorized as “good” and for material experts with a score of 60 in the range of 51 < X ≤ 63 so that it can also be categorized as “good”. The results of the educator response questionnaire with a score of 38 in the range of 34 < ???? ≤ 42 so that it can be categorized as “practical”, while the results of the overall student responses got a score of 59.7 with an average of 4.26 so that it is in the range of X> 42.0 with the category “very practical”. The field trials conducted showed that this teaching material is effective in improving students' understanding of concepts. Students also gave a positive response to the use of this teaching material because it is more interesting and interactive than conventional teaching materials. Thus, the development of teaching materials using PBL-based Hayzine Flipbook can be used as an alternative in learning to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Studi ini menelaah relevansi filosofi pendidikan karakter K.H. Ahmad Dahlan dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di era paradigma baru. Filosofi Dahlan menekankan pentingnya keseimbangan antara ilmu pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan akhlak untuk mewujudkan entitas untuk menjalankan moralitas luhur, berilmu, beserta memiliki kontribusi menguntungkan bagi kelompok sosial. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana gagasan pendidikan berkemajuan yang digagas Dahlan dapat diterapkan di sekolah-sekolah Muhammadiyah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan karakter. Metode penelitian ini mempergunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi literatur terhadap karya dan pemikiran Ahmad Dahlan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa filosofi pendidikan Dahlan sangat relevan dalam konteks pendidikan modern, terutama dalam integrasi nilai moral dan etika yang adaptif terhadap perubahan zaman. Kesimpulannya, pendidikan karakter yang diwariskan oleh Dahlan mampu menjadi landasan yang kokoh bagi pengembangan pendidikan berbasis karakter di Nusantara.

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di era teknologi modern menjadi tantangan yang penting bagi para pendidik, terutama dalam memanfaatkan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran. Artikel ini membahas pemanfaatan aplikasi Canva sebagai alat bantu dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran yang efektif, kreatif, dan inovatif untuk mendukung proses belajar mengajar di sekolah dasar. Canva, sebuah aplikasi desain grafis online, menyediakan berbagai fitur yang memungkinkan guru menyusun media pembelajaran dengan cepat dan menarik. Penelitian menggunakan metode tinjauan pustaka dengan mengkaji literatur yang relevan dari berbagai sumber, termasuk Google Scholar. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Canva dapat mempermudah guru dalam menyusun materi pembelajaran, meningkatkan inovasi, serta membuat siswa lebih antusias dan termotivasi dalam belajar. Dengan fitur desain yang beragam dan aksesibilitas yang mudah, aplikasi Canva memberikan dampak positif pada kualitas proses pembelajaran, terutama dalam pengajaran bahasa Indonesia di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher professionalism from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith. In the context of Islamic education, teacher professionalism is defined as the abilities and attitudes that must be possessed by educators to educate students effectively. The Qur'an emphasizes the importance of characteristics such as patience, gentleness, justice, and mastery of teaching materials. Meanwhile, the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW emphasizes sincere intentions, caring attitudes towards students, and the ability to communicate effectively. This study uses a literature study approach by reviewing various sources of the Qur'an and Hadith as well as Islamic education literature. The results of the study of teacher professionalism according to the perspective of the Qur'an are not only limited to mastery of teaching materials, but also include moral and ethical aspects. By understanding the values ​​contained in the Qur'an, it is hoped that educators can improve the quality of education and produce a generation that is not only academically intelligent but also has good morals. Teacher professionalism according to the Hadith includes various aspects, from the right intentions to fair and caring attitudes towards students. By understanding these values, it is hoped that educators can improve the quality of their teaching and contribute to the achievement of better educational goals.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes using Big Book media in class 2 at SD Negeri 0607 Pagaran Batu in Indonesian language subjects. This research uses a Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach, this research is quantitative. This research involves grade 2 students at SD Negeri 0607 Pagaran Batu as the main participants. The results of this research show that the average score for Indonesian language learning outcomes for class II students at SDN 0607 Pagaran Batu in cycle I was 73.5 and in cycle II was 79.5, so it can be seen that there was an increase/improvement in the average score from cycle I to cycle II. The percentage of student learning completeness in cycle I showed a figure of 60.00% or as many as 9 people out of 15 students and in cycle II it increased to 86.66% or as many as 13 people out of 15 students. Thus, the percentage of student learning completeness increases from cycle I to cycle II. Based on the information above, it can be concluded that using Big Book media can improve student learning outcomes in class II Indonesian language subjects at SD Negeri 0607 Pagaran Batu.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of self-acceptance in early adult individuals who are victims of parental divorce. The research method used a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with five participants aged 18-40 years. The results showed that the process of individual self-acceptance followed the stages of the Five Stages of Grief theory by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, namely denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Each stage reflects different emotions and strategies in dealing with the psychological impact of parental divorce. The findings showed that social support from family, friends and the surrounding environment influenced the success of individuals in achieving self-acceptance. In addition, participants who are able to interpret the experience positively tend to be more easily reconciled with their condition. This study contributes to the development of self-acceptance theory in the context of early adult developmental psychology, as well as providing practical insights for psychologists, parents, and educational institutions in supporting individuals who experience parental divorce.

Abstract

Parental divorce is an event that can have a significant psychological impact on children, especially during adolescence and young adulthood. Changes in family structure, emotional dynamics, and potential post-divorce conflicts are often challenges that children must face. For migrant students, these challenges are even more complex as they must also adapt to a new environment away from their families, with different academic and social demands. Migrant students often face the challenge of adapting to a new environment that is socially and culturally different, including students who have divorced parents and choose to migrate. Parental divorce can worsen their emotional condition, adding to the psychological burden that must be faced when migrating. This study aims to look at the description of self-adjustment in migrant students who experience parental divorce. This study uses qualitative methods with interview and observation data collection. The subjects of this study consisted of 6 participants. From the six research participants, it can be concluded that 2 participants can pass 5 dimensions of self- adjustment, namely perception of reality, ability to cope with stress and anxiety, positive self-image, ability to express emotions well, and good interpersonal relationships. While the other 4 participants could not pass some dimensions of self-adjustment, namely perception of reality, positive self-image, and ability to express emotions well.

Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and total assets on the stock value of banking companies during the period 2020-2021. A total of 88 samples were selected from the Indonesia Stock Exchange website (www.idx.co.id) by applying the purposive sampling method, which selects samples based on appropriate specific criteria. The t and F tests were applied to measure the effect of CAR and total assets variables on stock value. The t test is used to assess the impact of each variable individually, while the F test assesses the combined impact of both variables. Documentation, collecting secondary data available from reliable sources is used as the data method used. The findings show that CAR has a negative but not high impact on stock value, which means that the correlation is not strong enough. On the other hand, total assets have a high positive impact on stock value, indicating that banks with larger assets tend to have higher stock values. Furthermore, when CAR and total assets are tested together, the results show no high impact on stock value, indicating that the combination of CAR and total assets does not have a significant effect on the stock value of banking companies during the study period.

Abstract

This research compares human language and animal communication systems through theoretical and historical approaches. Human language as a complex communication system includes syntax, semantics, and pragmatics, which allow abstraction and flexibility of meaning, while animal communication is more limited to direct context with denotative cues. Using the literature study method, it is found that human language has unique capabilities in abstraction, symbolization, and recursivity, which do not exist in animal communication systems. Through the analysis of comparative linguistics and communication ethology, this research reveals fundamental differences in the structure and function of communication across species.
