Abstract

This study aims to improve reading comprehension of narrative texts and critical thinking skills among fourth-grade elementary students through the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) using Canva media and QuizWhizzer eassessment. The research employs a mixed-method approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 19 students from SD Negeri Winong 01. The learning process follows the five stages of PBL syntax, enhanced with interactive Canva media for narrative text presentations and QuizWhizzer for digital gamebased assessments. The results indicate a significant improvement in students' reading comprehension skills, with the average pretest score increasing from 53.68 to 75.63 in the posttest. A paired sample t-test yielded a significance value of < 0.001, confirming the effectiveness of the learning method. Canva’s visually engaging features facilitated better comprehension of the texts, while QuizWhizzer fostered student engagement during evaluations. This approach not only enhanced students' reading comprehension but also developed their critical thinking skills, providing an interactive, innovative, and modern learning experience tailored to current educational needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi karena rendahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam mempelajari Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan Quizizz Paper Mode untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi Buku, Pembuka Cakrawala Dunia di kelas VB SD Negeri 060827 Medan Amplas pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penlitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan di SD Negeri 060827 Medan kelas VB yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar setelah penggunaan Quizizz Paper Mode dimana pada siklus I terdapat 14 orang atau 53%. Kemudian pada siklus II, perolehan nilai motivasi belajar bahasa Indonesia kelas VB dengan menggunakan mode kertas kuis sebanyak 26 orang atau 87%. Penggunaan Quizizz Paper Mode berhasil meningkatkan motivasi belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa sebesar 34%.

Abstract

Traditional law based on religion has long served as a legal system governing social and cultural life in certain societies. This study aims to analyze the implementation of traditional law based on religious teachings in society, as well as to explore how this law interacts with modern state legal systems. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research examines adat law in Aceh, which is based on Islamic teachings, and the role of religious leaders in its enforcement. The findings indicate that traditional law based on religion in Aceh remains relevant in resolving social disputes, but faces challenges in its application alongside state law. In this context, religious law functions as a mechanism to uphold moral and social values, although at times it conflicts with formal legal regulations. This study concludes that, despite the tensions between traditional law and state law, religion-based traditional law continues to play an important role in creating social justice and cultural sustainability in society.

Abstract

The current global legal order has undergone significant changes due to the influence of globalization, technological advancements, and socio-political changes. Legal systems, which were once limited to national jurisdictions, are now increasingly interconnected within a complex network of international law. This article aims to analyze the dynamics of the global legal order, the challenges faced, and the crucial role of international law in creating stability and justice at the global level. The discussion covers key issues such as human rights protection, technology regulation, international dispute resolution, and the impact of social and economic inequalities on legal systems. Despite efforts to harmonize legal systems across countries, differences in legal interpretation and national interests remain major obstacles in building an inclusive and effective legal order. This article suggests the need for reforming legal systems to be more adaptive and strengthening international cooperation to address the ever-evolving legal challenges. Abstract

Modern law, as a legal system that governs relationships between individuals, states, and the international community, has evolved in response to the social, economic, and technological dynamics of globalization. This study aims to analyze the implementation of modern law in addressing the challenges of globalization, social change, and technological development. Through a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis, this research explores how modern law is applied in various countries and its adaptation to contemporary issues such as human rights, transnational crime, and climate change. The findings indicate that, while modern law provides a more structured and formal framework for resolving both international and domestic conflicts, significant challenges arise in its implementation and alignment with traditional legal systems, local cultures, and the rapid pace of technological development. Therefore, the study recommends the need for more responsive and flexible legal reforms, as well as enhanced international collaboration to address the global issues that continue to evolve.

Abstract

In the early Middle Ages, after the fall of the Western Roman Empire, there was a blending of two major legal systems that influenced the development of law in Europe: Roman Law and Germanic Law. Although these two legal systems were fundamentally different, they interacted and adapted under the influence of the barbarian kingdoms, particularly within the Frankish Kingdom. This article examines the comparison between Roman Law, based on written principles, and Germanic Law, which was more customary and oral, and how both were applied and synthesized under the rule of Charlemagne. By analyzing the influence and implementation of these two legal systems, this study shows that while Roman Law was more structured and systematic, Germanic Law played an important role in maintaining social balance through community-based dispute resolution mechanisms. Through Charlemagne’s efforts to codify laws in the Capitularies, which incorporated elements from both legal systems, a legal synthesis was created that influenced the formation of modern legal systems in Europe, including the civil law tradition. This research aims to provide insight into how these two different legal traditions interacted and contributed to the development of a more organized legal structure in the Frankish Kingdom, as well as their long-term impact on European law.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of e-flipbooks assisted by wordwall media in improving narrative text writing skills in grade 4 elementary school students. This study uses mixed methods, which combines quantitative and qualitative analysis. The research subjects were 4th grade elementary school students. Quantitative data was collected through pretest and posttest narrative text writing tests, while qualitative data was obtained through learning observations through interviews with teachers and students. The results of the qualitative analysis show that using e-flipbooks assisted by wordwall media increases students' motivation to write, increases interactive learning, and helps them understand the structure of narrative text. Research also shows that using e-flipbooks assisted by wordwall media helps students in their learning outcomes in writing narrative texts. This can be proven by the results of increasing students' ability to develop story ideas through experiences during school holidays, the use of vocabulary and sentence structure in writing. The results of this research contribute to the development of an approach used to teach students to write narrative texts using digital media in grade 4 elementary school student.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media stick angka terhadap kemampuan berhitung murid kelas I di UPT SDN 54 Barru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah murid kelas I yang mengalami kesulitan dalam berhitung. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media stick angka memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berhitung murid. Murid menjadi lebih aktif, antusias, dan mampu menyelesaikan soal-soal berhitung dengan lebih baik. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar guru menggunakan media stick angka sebagai salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung murid.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pemahaman dan penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila di kalangan siswa SMP Negeri 7 Mataram melalui studi kasus implementasi ideologi bangsa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Fokus utama penelitian adalah menganalisis tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila, baik secara konseptual maupun praktis, serta implementasinya dalam berbagai konteks kehidupan sekolah. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara guru dan survei terhadap 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 70% siswa memiliki pemahaman yang baik terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila, dengan 90% siswa menganggap Pancasila penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Implementasi nilai-nilai Pancasila terlihat dalam berbagai aspek, seperti gotong royong (75% siswa aktif berpartisipasi) dan sikap toleransi (85% siswa menunjukkan sikap positif). Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemahaman dan penerapan nilai Pancasila meliputi aspek internal seperti motivasi siswa dan kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta aspek eksternal seperti peran keluarga dan masyarakat. Kendala utama yang diidentifikasi adalah kurangnya pemahaman mendalam (30%), pengaruh pergaulan (25%), minimnya contoh nyata (20%), dan kurangnya dukungan lingkungan (25%). Strategi efektif yang diterapkan meliputi pembelajaran kontekstual, penggunaan media digital, dan pelibatan siswa dalam kegiatan nasionalisme. Model evaluasi yang digunakan mencakup observasi perilaku, penilaian kognitif, dan refleksi pengalaman siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan implementasi nilai-nilai Pancasila membutuhkan sinergi antara sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi hasil observasi yang dilakukan pada kelas II SD Inpres 1 Lere menemukan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik terhadap materi Contoh Sikap Mematuhi aturan di lingkungan keluarga belum maksimal. Hal ini disebabkan guru belum menemukan model pembelajaran yang dapat membantu peserta didik dalam memahami contoh sikap mematuhi aturan di lingkungan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kelas model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang memiliki empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil tes yang didapat dari proses pembelajaran menggunakan model PBL pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila, nilai peserta didik dari awal sebelum menerapkan model PBL menunjukkan hanya 18,75% peserta didik yang tuntas dalam tes awal tersebut. Namun setelah pembelajaran dilakukan dengan penerapan model PBL hasilnya adalah terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik menjadi 82,5% peserta didik yang berhasil tuntas dalam pembelajaran. Dari data yang diperoleh disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran PBL berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan pancasila di kelas II Sekolah dasar.
