Abstract

This study aims to produce valid, practical and effective flash card learning media made from coconut fiber waste on integer arithmetic operation material on multiplication and division of tens and hundreds in grade IV-B of SDN 064037 Medan Tembung. This study is a Research and Development (R&D) using a 4D development model consisting of Define, Design, Development and Disseminate. The subjects of this study were 20 students of grade IV-B of SDN 064037 Medan Tembung. The data analysis technique in this study was qualitative data obtained from interviews, responses and suggestions from media validators, materials, and education practitioners (teachers). While quantitative data were obtained from questionnaires given to media experts, material experts, education practitioners and student response questionnaires. The results of the study showed that the validity assessment by media experts (lecturers) obtained a percentage of 92% with the criteria "Suitable for Use with Revision", validity by material experts (lecturers) obtained a percentage of 95% with the criteria "Very Suitable". Furthermore, the practicality assessment by grade IV teachers obtained a percentage of 98% with the criteria "Very Practical" and the student response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 98% with the criteria "Very Good". The results of the assessment with the pretest results obtained 59.25% with the criteria "Quite Good" and the posttest results obtained 81.5% with the criteria "Very Good". Based on the effectiveness of the use of flash card learning media made from coconut fiber waste using N-Gain obtained the criteria "Quite Effective" with a percentage of 58.75%. It can be concluded that this research and development produces a product in the form of a flash card learning media made from coconut fiber waste that is valid, practical and effective to be used in the learning process in class IV SDN 064037 Medan Tembung.

Abstract

The issues in the implementation of culture-based global educational leadership at SDN 08 VII Koto Sungai Sarik reflect weak teacher discipline, low integration of local cultural values, insufficient motivation to improve competencies, and a weak school organizational culture. This study aims to analyze the causes and impacts of these problems and propose strategic approaches for improvement. The research method uses a qualitative approach based on literature studies and participatory observation. The results indicate that approaches including character habituation, strengthening technology, integrating culture into learning, and consistent self-reflection can drive school culture transformation. Effective leadership begins with leaders setting examples, cultivating noble values, and synergy between local and global values in the learning process.

Abstract

Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) adalah program pendukung pemerintah Bantuan Siswa Miskin (BSM) yang disempurnakan. Program PIP ini diharapkan dapat membantu siswa yang kurang mampu dari segi ekonomi dan dapat meringankan beban keluarga yang kurang mampu, serta menarik kembali siswa yang putus sekolah dikarenakan tunggakan biaya. Maka diharapkan tidak ada lagi alasan untuk tidak melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi lagi karena masalah biaya. Untuk Penggunaan dana agar dapat digunakan seefektif dan efisien mungkin. Dengan demikian program PIP dapat mendukung program pemerintah wajib belajar 12 tahun. Kedua program tersebut dapat beriringan menjalankan tujuan nasional bangsa Indonesia yaitu Mencerdaskan Kehidupan Bangsa.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of development of learning media. The aim is to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of big book media using the SAS method to improve the beginning reading skills of grade 1 elementary school students. This research is research and development with a design from Borg and Gall 10. The validity test was carried out by experts with a score of 90% for the material aspect and 90% for the learning media aspect, both of which are in the very valid category. The practicality test was obtained from student and teacher questionnaires which were stated to be practical by students by obtaining an average score of 87.25 in the very good category and the practicality/readability response of practitioners by the class teacher obtained a score of 88 in the very good category. Based on peer assessment, scores obtained with intervals of 85 are in the very good category. The result of the paired sample t test is 0.000. The n gain value obtained is 0.50 with the moderate improvement category. The results of the research show that the big book media with the SAS method developed is proven to be valid, practical, and effective so that it is very suitable for use in learning Indonesian in elementary schools to improve the beginning reading skills of grade 1 elementary school students.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is how the use of mystery box media affects the writing skills of fifth grade students of UPT SPF SDN KIP Bara-Baraya I. The study aims to determine the effect of the use of mystery box media on the writing skills of fifth grade students of UPT SPF SDN KIP Bara-Baraya I. This type of research is experimental research (pre-experimental design) with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample used was 16 fifth grade students of UPT SPF SDN KIP Bara- Baraya I. The results showed that the average (mean) pretest value was 53.75 compared to the posttest value, which increased by 83.44. The results of the paired sample t-test showed that the sig. (2-tailed) obtained 0.001 which shows that 0.001 < 0.05 Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted which states that there is an influence of mystery box media on the narrative writing skills of class V students at UPT SPF SDN KIP Bara-Baraya I

Abstract

Christian Religious Education (CRE) in elementary schools plays a strategic role in fostering students' faith and moral values from an early age. This study aims to describe and analyze the role of CRE in spiritual growth and character development by highlighting the implementation of Christian values in classroom practices. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through direct classroom observations and in-depth interviews with teachers and upper-grade students (grades 4–6) at an elementary school in East Jakarta that has adopted the Merdeka Curriculum. The findings reveal that CRE significantly contributes to shaping student attitudes such as love, responsibility, honesty, and forgiveness. Teachers play a central role in contextualizing these values through relevant and meaningful learning strategies. Challenges include limited instructional time, student diversity, and the need for strengthened pedagogical and spiritual competence. These results underscore the importance of support from schools and parents to implement inclusive and impactful CRE aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum's values.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Sampling of data sources was carried out by purposive sampling. The purpose of the study was to analyze the study habits of students with academic achievement ranking one to three in elementary schools. The subjects of this study were students in grades one to three in grades II, III, IV, V and VI at SDN Parakan 01. The results of the analysis showed that the study habits of students with academic achievements ranked one to three had good study habits and differed among other students when the learning process took place at home or at home. at school. Academic achievement students have a regular study schedule, have an interest in reading textbooks or books of various knowledge, take notes on material lessons with structured and neat writing, use free time to complete assignments, concentrate while studying, have facilities that support learning, have space comfortable learning, have 2D or 3D learning media and information technology tools as a means of learning, have a variety of books such as theme books, history books and other knowledge books that are used to support learning, like quiet learning conditions and enjoy learning with other friends at school. his class. All good study habits in academically achieving students occur because of the guidance when doing learning carried out by teachers and parents.

Abstract

The Poor Students Assistance Program (BSM) is one of the government policies aimed at reducing the financial burden on underprivileged families while simultaneously improving access to education and academic performance of students. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the BSM program in improving the academic performance of elementary school students. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study at one elementary school that received the BSM program. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, 222parents, and stuXdents, as well as an analysis of academic scores before and after receiving assistance. The results of the study indicate that the BSM program has a positive impact on students' learning motivation and reduces dropout rates. However, the improvement in academic performance is not significant as it is influenced by other factors such as the quality of learning, family support, and the school environment. The implication of this research is the need for mentoring and assistance more intensive so that the assistance provided can be more effective in improving students' achievements.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Card Sort learning model on the IPAS (Integrated Natural and Social Sciences) learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 107405 Sei Rotan for the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a two- group pretest-posttest format. The sample consisted of two classes: Class V-A as the experimental group, which was taught using the Card Sort learning model, and Class V-B as the control group, which received direct instruction. Each class consisted of 33 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through pretests and posttests using a validated essay-type test instrument, supported by observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis involved normality testing, homogeneity testing, and hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test. The results indicated a significant difference in posttest scores between the experimental and control groups. The t-test analysis yielded a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), suggesting that the use of the Card Sort learning model had a significant and positive effect on students' IPAS learning outcomes. Furthermore, students in the experimental class appeared to be more active, collaborative, and motivated throughout the learning process, which contributed to a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Therefore, the Card Sort learning model is considered effective in enhancing elementary school students’ learning outcomes in IPAS through active, critical-thinking, and cooperative learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk yang akan digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media pembelajaran berbantuan web google sitses pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia kelas V di SD Negeri 106811Bandar Setia. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 22 siswa kelas V SD Negeri 106811Bandar setia. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan atau Reseach and Development (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE yang memiliki lima tahapan yaitu tahap analisis (analyze), tahap desain (design), tahap pengembangan (development), tahap implementasi (implementation), dan tahap evaluasi (evaluation). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, angket validasi materi, angket validasi desain media, angket praktikalitas pendidikan dan soal tes. Hasil penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran berbantuan web google sites pada materi sistem pencernaan kelas V di SD Negeri 106811 Bandar Setia, pada validasi materi memperoleh nilai presentase 85% dalam kategori “Sangat Layak” sedangkan ahli media memperoleh presentase 90% masuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak” sehingga media layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Pada uji kepraktisan diperoleh dari tanggapan guru melalui angket yang diberikan dengan nilai presentase 94% kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Uji efektivitas melalui pretest dan posttest menunjukkan N-gain rata-rata 68,2%, yang tergolong kategori “efektif”.
