Abstract

This study attempts to describe the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in character building for students, the implementation carried out by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in character building for students, factors that influence the character building for students through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) education and supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the implementation of learning in character building for students of class IX (Nine) MTs Al-Matholi Bandar Mataram. This study uses a qualitative approach. The collection method is by observation, interviews, documentation and data validation. The results of this study are: 1). The implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in character building for students uses several approaches by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers so that students can have good character. 2). Factors that influence character building through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning include internal and external factors. 3). Supporting factors include the role of the family, especially parents, the role of the school including the role of teachers and friends and the role of the surrounding environment. And inhibiting factors in character building for students in class IX (Nine) MTs Al-Matholi Bandar Mataram.

Abstract

Fenomena perceraian orang tua di Indonesia yang terus meningkat memengaruhi perkembangan psikososial anak, termasuk pola keterikatan (attachment style) dan kepuasan hubungan romantis di masa dewasa awal. Permasalahan ini penting diteliti karena individu dengan pengalaman perceraian orang tua berisiko memiliki insecure attachment yang berdampak pada kualitas hubungan romantis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh attachment style terhadap kepuasan hubungan romantis pada dewasa awal yang mengalami perceraian orang tua. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan metode non-eksperimental. Populasi penelitian adalah individu dewasa awal berusia 19–40 tahun di Indonesia yang sedang menjalin hubungan pacaran atau pernikahan minimal 6 bulan dan memiliki riwayat perceraian orang tua, dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 216 orang yang diperoleh melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen The Experience in Close Relationship-Revised (ECR-R) dan Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS) melalui survei daring, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, linearitas, korelasi Pearson, regresi linier sederhana, ANOVA, dan uji beda (t-test) dengan bantuan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa attachment style berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan hubungan romantis dengan kontribusi sebesar 43,9%, di mana dimensi avoidant attachment memiliki pengaruh paling kuat (57,1%) dibanding anxious attachment (17,2%). Uji beda juga menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan attachment style dan kepuasan hubungan berdasarkan status hubungan (berpacaran dan menikah). Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi praktisi psikologi dalam membantu individu memahami pola keterikatan dan meningkatkan kualitas hubungan romantis meskipun memiliki latar belakang keluarga bercerai.

Abstract

Classroom management is an effort directed by the teacher to create an effective and fun teaching and learning atmosphere and can motivate students to study well according to their abilities. The purpose of this study was to analyze the classroom management of mathematics teachers at MTsN 9 Bantul and its implications for mathematics learning outcomes. This research is a case study research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis which includes three stages: data reduction, data display, and verification. The results showed that the teacher had created the right learning climate, managed the study space well, managed teaching and learning interactions with the right strategies, models, and methods. The supporting factor is that the teacher has skills in class management so that it has implications for mathematics learning outcomes. The inhibiting factor is that students are less aware of their obligations in terms of class discipline and cleanliness.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the effect of using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model assisted by snakes and ladders media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. The background of this study is motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of students, which are caused by the limited variation of teaching methods and the lack of media usage that could enhance student interest and active participation in the learning process. The research method employed is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consists of two classes, namely class VA as the control group and class VB as the experimental group. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, consisting of pretests and posttests. The collected data were analyzed using the Independent Sample T-Test. The results of the study indicate that the average posttest score for the experimental group is 81.25, while the control group obtained an average of 67.92. The statistical test yielded a significance value of 0.005, which is smaller than 0.05, suggesting that there is a significant difference between the mathematics learning outcomes of students taught using the TGT model assisted by snakes and ladders media and those taught using conventional methods. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of the TGT cooperative learning model assisted by snakes and ladders media has a significant positive effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers consider the use of this model and media to enhance students' learning outcomes in mathematics, particularly in learning that requires a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.

Abstract

The problem in this research is based on the low levels of activity, cooperation, and cognitive development of children in understanding the concept and symbols of numbers. The solution proposed is the use of the Langit model (probLem bAsed learniNG and explicIT instruction) and Cuisenaire Rods as a medium. The purpose of this study is to describe teacher activities and analyze the activities, cooperation, and cognitive development outcomes of children in understanding number concepts and symbols. This research uses a qualitative approach with the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method, conducted over four sessions. The research setting was with Group A children at TK Islam Khadijah Plus Banjarmasin, consisting of 22 children. The data collection technique used was observation. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis with tables and graphs. The research instruments included observation sheets for teacher children’s activities, children’s cooperation, and children’s developmental achievements. The results showed that by the fourth sessions, teacher activities had reached the “Very Good” category. Children’s activities, on a classical basis, reached the “Almost All Children Active” category in session four. Children’s cooperation, on a classical basic, reached the “Almost All Children Cooperate” category in the fourth session, and children’s developmental outcomes reached the BSB (Developing Very Well) and BSH (Developing According to Expectations) categories in session four. It is recommended that the Langit model and Cuisenaire Rods be used as a reference for implementing effective learning models.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is that students experience difficulties in pronouncing words correctly, making the messages they convey difficult for listeners to understand. In addition, the students have a limited vocabulary, which causes them to frequently repeat the same words and struggle to express ideas in a coherent manner. Improper use of intonation also contributes to the students’ low speaking skills. One of the contributing factors is the lack of learning media that encourage students to actively speak. This study aims to determine the improvement in speaking skills through the use of the mystery box media among fifth-grade students of UPT SD Inpres Pare'-Pare'. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles, with each cycle comprising four meetings. The research procedure includes planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 22 fifth-grade students of UPT SD Inpres Pare'-Pare'. The results showed that in the first cycle, 10 students (45%) met the minimum passing criteria (KKM) with an average score of 57. In the second cycle, 19 students (86%) met the KKM with an average score of 80. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the mystery box media can improve the speaking skills of fifth-grade students at UPT SD Inpres Pare'-Pare'.

Abstract

Moral education plays a central role in shaping an individual's character, especially amid the moral challenges that have emerged in the modern era. In Islamic teachings, the heart (qolbu) is regarded as the center of values and behavior, making its management the key to forming noble character. Heart management involves the process of cleansing it of undesirable traits, filling it with praiseworthy traits, and manifesting these in concrete actions. This study aims to examine the concept of heart management in moral education from an Islamic perspective, explain why heart management is the core of moral education, and identify the challenges and solutions for its implementation in Indonesia. This study uses the library research method, which is a research method conducted by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data sourced from literature relevant to the research topic.The results of the study indicate that heart management is the main foundation in the formation of character. The three stages of takhalli, tahalli, and tajallim form an effective framework in character education. The findings also show the positive influence of heart-based education on the formation of students' character, although there are still challenges in its implementation in formal education environments. Abstract

The exemplary conduct of the Prophets and Messengers, miracles, and the righteousness of the saints of Allah and their karamah are essential foundations in shaping the character of Muslims. Prophets and Messengers serve as the ultimate role models, demonstrating noble morals, gentleness, and wise leadership, as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in various events, including the Battle of Uhud. The miracles granted to the Prophets and Messengers function as proof of their prophethood and reinforcement of their message, such as Prophet Noah’s ark that saved his people or Prophet David’s ability to soften iron. Meanwhile, the exemplary conduct of the saints of Allah and their karamah serve as inspiration in both spiritual and social life, strengthening values such as simplicity, sincerity, and compassion. These three aspects are interconnected in forming a solid conceptual framework for instilling exemplary values in daily life, reinforcing faith, and guiding Muslims toward a better life based on Islamic teachings. Abstract

This study aims to describe students' learning readiness in participating in the mathematics learning process during the post-pandemic period. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were all students in class V at UPT SDN 51 Yosowilangon Gresik, which consisted of 27 students. Data collection techniques for student learning readiness use observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that students did not have good learning readiness in participating in the mathematics learning process and student learning outcomes were still low. This can be seen from the results of daily mathematics tests, students who get good grades are still 45% of the total students, and for the midterm assessment (PTS) in mathematics it is known that out of 27 students, all students still get scores below the KKM. And the factors that affect the learning readiness of class V UPT SDN 51 Gresik students consist of physical, mental, and emotional conditions, conditions of needs, motives and goals as well as conditions of knowledge, but the factors that are very dominant in influencing student learning readiness in the process of learning mathematics are condition of student knowledge. It can be seen from the 27 students of class V UPT SDN 51 Gresik, there were 22 students who stated that the students did not understand the material explained by the teacher because they had not previously been prepared or had not studied at home.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the forms and contributing factors of impoliteness in comments posted on a YouTube video of the 2024 Vice Presidential Debate on the Narasi channel. The research employed a qualitative method with a pragmatic discourse analysis approach. Data were collected through documentation of comments over three months and analyzed using Jonathan Culpeper’s (1996) theory of impoliteness. The results show that the forms of impoliteness identified include bald-on-record, positive impoliteness, negative impoliteness, sarcasm, and withholding politeness. The most dominant type was positive impoliteness, expressed through subtle derision, followed by sarcasm, direct impoliteness, negative impoliteness, and avoidance strategies. Contributing factors include weak social ties, disregard for social hierarchy, and deliberate neglect of politeness norms in online interactions. This research highlights the need for greater awareness of digital communication ethics as part of digital literacy. The findings are expected to encourage more polite and constructive communication in virtual public spaces
