Abstract

Students in six second-grade classes at SDN Pemurus have problems with critical thinking skills, lack of activity, and poor learning outcomes. If they are not engaged and do not understand the concepts correctly, learning becomes boring and useless. Classroom action research is the qualitative methodology employed in this study. In order to ascertain whether a project-based learning model, photographs and photos, and Talking Sticks could enhance critical thinking abilities, learning outcomes, student activity, and instructor activity, this study was carried out over the course of four sessions during the 2024–2025 academic year. Success indicators for the data collected included individual completion rates of 70% and classical completion rates of 82%. Teachers scored 31 in the "Very Good" category, student activities scored 97% in the "Very Active" category, students' critical thinking skills scored 97% in the "Very Skilled" category, and student learning outcomes scored 97% in the "Mastery level" category, according to the research findings. These findings suggest that applying a well-thought-out learning approach can enhance students' capacity for critical thought.

Abstract

Development of E-Comic Creator Teaching Materials on Indonesian Cultural Wealth Material Assisted by Pixton Application. The type of research used is the Research and Development (R&D) approach at Elementary School 02 Cogreg on grade IV students with a research model, namely the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). This research began with conducting needs analysis, curriculum analysis, student analysis, and product design. Furthermore, e-comic teaching materials were developed using the pixton application, which were then validated by experts. After that, a trial was conducted on e-comic teaching materials using the pixton application on Indonesian cultural wealth material to the respondents who had been determined. The validation results from media experts, material experts, and language experts showed that e-comic teaching materials using the pixton application were considered very valid and very feasible to use, with an average percentage of 97%. In the trial phase, as many as 25 students were involved as respondents and gave very positive responses to the teaching materials used with an average percentage reaching 90%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the e-comic teaching materials assisted by the pixton application on the material on Indonesian cultural wealth are valid, interesting, easy to use by students, and are used as a source of teaching materials in learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Determine the application of the GI method in science. 2) Determine the increase in student engagement in science. 3) Determine the improvement in student learning outcomes in science. This study used a classroom action research (CAR) approach, implemented in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, using the Group Investigation method. The study subjects were 20 students, consisting of 10 boys and 10 girls. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that: 1) The implementation of the GI method was carried out through six stages: grouping, planning, investigation, organizing, presenting, and evaluation. 2) The increase in student engagement was evident from observations: 36% in the pre-cycle, increasing to 58% in the first meeting of cycle I and 65% in the second meeting of cycle I, reaching 78% in the first meeting of cycle II and 93% in the second meeting of cycle II. The category of student activity developed from “less active” to “quite active”, to “very active”. 3) Student learning outcomes also experienced a significant increase. With an average score of 69 in the pre-cycle, 74 in cycle I, and 88 in cycle II. The percentage of classical completion in cycle II reached 95%, exceeding the learning objective achievement criteria (KKTP). Thus, the application of the Group Investigation method has proven effective in increasing student activity and learning outcomes in the subject of science.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pembelajaran huruf hijaiyah di TKPermata Bunda Kota Bengkulu yang masih menggunakan media konvensional dananak kurang percaya diri. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruhpembelajaran huruf hijaiyah melalui media audio visual terhadap peningkatankepercayaan diri anak di TK Permata Bunda Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian yangdigunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan pre-eksperimen.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one grup pretes-posttest design. Dari hasilpenelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran huruf hijaiyah melalui mediaaudio visual berpengaruh terhadap kepercayaan diri anak. Hal tersebut terlihat padapengujian n-gain score pada SPSS diperoleh nilai g pada pembelajaran hurufhijaiyah adalah 0,4538 dan kepercayaan diri anak 0,6355 maka peningkatan pada1Didaktik : Jurnal Ilmiah PGSD STKIP Subang,ISSN Cetak : 2477-5673 ISSN Online : 2614-722XVolume XX Nomor XX, Bulan Tahunpembelajaran huruf hijaiyah dan kepercayaan diri anak menunjukkan peningkatansedang dengan presentase nilai g 0,3>0,4538&0,6355<0,7, maka hasil uji hipotesisdari kedua variable adalah <0,001 itu menunjukkan bahwa signifikansi lebih kecildari 0,05. Abstract

Perkembangan pesat teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) telah membawa dampak signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, memberikan kesempatan untuk menciptakan metode pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif melalui penggunaan aplikasi berbasis Android. Aplikasi Android memungkinkan siswa untuk mengakses materi pelajaran dengan lebih fleksibel, mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan individu, serta memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep-konsep abstrak dalam Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan keterampilan pengajaran dan kurangnya akses perangkat di beberapa daerah menjadi kendala dalam penerapan teknologi ini secara maksimal. Diharapkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Android sebagai bahan ajar dapat memperbaiki pemahaman siswa, menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik, serta meningkatkan literasi digital dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan mengumpulkan data dari 50 artikel yang relevan, yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2020 hingga 2025, yang diperoleh melalui Google Scholar dan aplikasi Publish or Perish. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media aplikasi Android sebagai bahan ajar interaktif sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi, keaktifan, minat, pemahaman, dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Rahmatia Sofyan, 2025, “Using Narrative Text in Improving the Students’Vocabulary Mastery At Senior High School.” Supervised by Hasnani and Cayati.This study aims to determine the effect of using narrative text on the vocabularyskills of tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 19 Makassar in the 2024/2025academic year. This study used a pre-experimental method with a quantitativeapproach. The population of this study was 30 students. This study used a pre-testand post-test, followed by four sessions of treatment using narrative text. The datafor this study were obtained through pre-tests and post-tests, where the researchertook students’ vocabulary scores. The results showed that the average pre-testscore was 76.7667, while the average post-test score was 87.7667. There was asignificant difference from the average score in the experimental class. The scoreincreased by 11.7 after treatment with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05; therefore,H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of this study, it can beconcluded that there was an increase in students’ vocabulary through the use ofnarrative text in grade X 3 students of SMA Negeri 19 Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the motives and patterns of social media use by upper- grade elementary school students. The research uses a descriptive quantitative method with descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The sample in this study consisted of 72 students from grades IV, V, VI at Al-Manar Integrated Islamic Elementary School, Pekanbaru City. The data collection technique and research instrument used in this study were questionnaires, and the data were analyzed using percentage formulas. The research results indicate that the main motives for students' use of social media are for enjoyment (80%), followed by obtaining information (79%), as well as social interaction and relaxation (both 77%). Usage patterns show that the majority of students access social media more than five times a day, with an average duration of one hour, predominantly for consuming entertainment content (82%). The use of social media by students is influenced by conditions such as parental permission and school holidays. The most frequently used application is YouTube (72%), followed by WhatsApp and TikTok (63% each)

Abstract

The reserach is motivated by learning process was still not student-centered. This research was conducted in fifth grade at SDN 20 Jalamu and SDN 31 Limau Manis Pesisir Selatan. The purpose of this research was to research of improvement student learning outcomes at mathematic by using a constructivism approach to learning with those using conventional mathematics learning. This study used a interviews, questionnaires and observation sheets. This research was conducted by pretest and posttest. The students answer were analyzed using student learn outcome in the low, medium, and high group in the experimental class and control class. The result of the research indicated that the improved of student learning outcomes in the experimental class about 0,68, but improved of student learning outcomes in the control class about 0,07. So it can be concluded that the constructivism approach can improve student learning outcomes of mathematics.

Abstract

The instruction writing skills of third-grade students at the UPTD SPF SD Inpres Maccini Sombala 1 are still low; students often have difficulty expressing ideas and arranging words, making learning boring. This study offers poster media as an alternative to motivate and facilitate more structured instruction writing. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of poster media use on students' instruction writing skills. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest– posttest on 39 third-grade students in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through pretests and posttests, then analyzed descriptively and inferentially using Paired Sample t-Tests. The results showed a significant improvement in writing skills after the implementation of poster media. The average score increased from 44.10 (pretest) to 87.17 (posttest), with a change in the distribution of value categories from predominantly low/moderate to predominantly high–very high. The paired t-test produced a p-value <0.001, rejecting H0 and confirming that poster media had a significant effect on improving instruction writing skills in Indonesian subjects. These findings recommend poster media as an effective learning strategy to build motivation, clarify procedural steps, and improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of futsal games on improving the physical fitness of extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 4 Rajadesa in 2025. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test post-test group design. The sample consisted of 20 students participating in futsal extracurricular activities. Physical fitness tests included a 60-meter sprint, sit-ups, pull-ups, vertical jumps, and a 1200-meter run. Data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test with SPSS. The results showed significant improvements in all components of physical fitness after students followed a structured futsal training program for six weeks. Thus, futsal can be considered an effective extracurricular activity to enhance students’ physical fitness.
