Abstract

Children’s language development is a complex process shaped by biological maturation, cognitive readiness, and environmental experiences. At the primary school level, language ability serves as a foundation for literacy, social interaction, and academic success. This literature review examines the nature of children’s language development, individual differences in language acquisition, and the structural components of children’s language. The review synthesizes 20 empirical studies published between 2020 and 2025 focusing on developmental linguistics, first language acquisition, and early language education. Findings indicate that language development unfolds gradually through the acquisition of phonological, morphological, syntactic, semantic, and pragmatic skills. Individual variations arise from differences in linguistic input, interaction quality, socioeconomic conditions, cognitive development, and biological factors. Although primary school children exhibit increasingly systematic linguistic structures, phonological simplifications, morphological overgeneralizations, and pragmatic limitations remain common. The review highlights the importance of rich linguistic stimulation, meaningful social interaction, and responsive pedagogical approaches tailored to children’s developmental needs. Future research is encouraged to explore the use of digital media and multimodal approaches to support language growth in young learners.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how character education values can be instilled in students through the cultivation of discipline at Sekolah Dasar Impres (SDI) Tibakisa, located in Boawae District, Nagekeo Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The cultivation of discipline is considered a crucial method for building students' character from an early age, particularly in instilling values such as responsibility, honesty, orderliness, and civility. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques including observation, structured interviews, and document analysis.The findings of this study show that SDI Tibakisa has implemented a variety of disciplinary strategies, such as the 3S program (smile, greet, and say hello), morning assemblies, environmental cleanliness maintenance, enforcement of rules for both students and teachers, and the promotion of ethical habits in interactions among school members. The consistent application of these disciplinary measures has created a positive learning environment, supported students' character development, and fostered an orderly and supportive atmosphere However, there are still challenges faced, such as a lack of awareness about discipline among some students, limited support from families, and overly familiar relationships between students and teachers. Therefore, collaboration among the school, teachers, parents, and the community is necessary to ensure that character education can be implemented optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peranan penting dalam membentuk karakter dan kepribadian yang baik dan bertanggung jawab. Pada zaman ini diperlukan gen yang tidak hanya unggul dalam akademik dan teknologi saja, tetapi juga dalam emosional, sehingga dapat menghargai lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi , merumuskan , dan mendeskripsikan strategi komunikasi yang efektif dan harmonis di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan pengolahan data menggunakan trianggulasi data yang diambil dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap data yang sudah didapatkan pada proses penelitian. Strategi komunikasi yang digunakan yaitu komunikasi orang tua, guru, sisw, dan warga sekolah lain nya. Komunikasi yang dilakukan dengan dengan hubungan yang seimbang dan harmonis akan menciptakan komunikasi yang efektif setiap warga sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan strategi membangun komunikasi dengan fondasi hubungan yang seimbang dan harmonis akan menciptakan komunikasi yang efektif antar siswa kelas 5, wali kelas, dan orang tua siswa. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri Mojorayung 01 pada kelas V yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Pada proses pengambilan data dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali selama 1 bulan. Hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan oleh penelitian sebelumnya yaitu terdapat keterlibatan guru, orang tua dan siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar di sekolah dasar. Penelitian sebelumnya memiliki hasil, bahwa komunikasi antar warga sekolah, siswa dan orang tua mengalami kendala dalam proses penyampaiannya, sehingga menyebabkan komunikasi tidak harmonis dan efektif. Sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menyempurnakan penelitian sebelumnya dalam memilih dan menentukan strategi yang dapat diterapkan di sekolah dasar agar menciptakan komunikasi yang efektif dan harmonis.

Abstract

Education is the need of every individual and always changes according to the times, science, technology and culture of society. Education is very important in improving the quality of human resources. In study the authors are interested in developing vocabulary board learning media because there are still many students who find it difficult to read. The research method used author this research is (research and development) or what is known the ADDIE development model. This model consists of 5 stages, namely: Analyze, design, Developnet, implementation. Evaluation. The type of data taken this study is quantitative data and quantitative data. The instrument used in this study is validation questionnaire, practicality and effectiveness. Data collection techniques used interview techniques, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are media validation analysis techniques, media practicality analysis and media effectiveness analysis. The results obtained The validity of the vocabulary board learning media as assessed the validator totaled 3 people, indicating vocabulary board learning media obtained a percentage of 89.8% in a very valid category, the vocabulary board learning media is feasible to use and in accordance with the provisions of SDN 308 /VI Rantau Suli. The results of practicality assessed from the teacher response questionnaire and student response questionnaire to the vocabulary board learning media obtained the following percentages: 94% teacher response questionnaire in very practical category, 100% student response questionnaire in very practical category. For the results of the effectiveness assessed from the results of the test questions, it obtained a percentage of 85.2% in the very effective category.

Abstract

This mini research aims to describe how coding-based learning can improve the learning focus of early childhood students at TK Anak Ceria, Bandung. The study is motivated by the low attention span observed during conventional learning activities and the increasing need for digital literacy and computational thinking in the digital era. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Coding activities were introduced using unplugged methods, simple robotics, and visual applications such as ScratchJr. The PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act) management cycle was applied to ensure that the learning process remained systematic and continuously improved. The results indicate that coding activities enhance children’s attention, persistence, and ability to follow sequential instructions. Exploratory and visually engaging coding tasks helped children maintain their focus longer compared to traditional learning methods. This study provides preliminary evidence of coding’s potential as an innovative approach for early childhood education and serves as a foundation for developing technology-based learning management models in the future.

Abstract

This article explores the application of postmodern theory in education, focusing on curriculum, learning, and assessment in the digital era. Postmodernism emphasizes multiple perspectives, critical reflection, and socially constructed knowledge. Based on a synthesis of 26 accredited journal articles (2018–2025), findings indicate that postmodern education fosters active student engagement, teachers as facilitators, and the integration of digital technology as a reflective learning medium. Practical implications include the development of adaptive curricula, collaborative learning strategies, and authentic assessments evaluating creativity, critical thinking, and social competencies. The study highlights the importance of democratic, contextual, and humanistic education and provides recommendations for teachers, policymakers, and researchers to implement postmodern practices relevant to 21st-century educational challenges. This study employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, which uses meta synthesis data analysis techniques to collect and analyze various related articles.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of teacher performance within the framework of Islamic value-based human resource management (HRM) and to formulate a conceptual model relevant to improving the quality of education in madrasahs. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using library research, drawing data from books, accredited national journals, and national educational regulations. The findings reveal that teacher performance is a key determinant of educational quality, encompassing the ability to plan, implement, and evaluate learning, as well as demonstrating integrity and moral exemplarity. The integration of Islamic values ihsan, sincerity, role-modeling, and tajdid significantly strengthens teachers’ motivation, work ethic, and accountability. The proposed Islamic value-based HRM model synthesizes three fundamental foundations: Islamic normative principles, modern performance management theory, and recent empirical studies, resulting in a more holistic teacher performance assessment system. The model includes stages of performance planning, implementation, assessment and supervision, feedback and professional development, and accountability. This study contributes conceptually to the development of teacher performance governance in madrasahs and offers a practical framework for enhancing the quality of Islamic education sustainably.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) di sekolah dasar memiliki peran fundamental dalam membentuk karakter, nilai moral, dan kemampuan sosial peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 2 Mangunsari dan bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran PKn pada siswa kelas 4, mengidentifikasi kendala yang muncul selama proses pembelajaran, serta memberikan rekomendasi pengembangan melalui analisis literatur ilmiah yang relevan. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa analisis video pembelajaran dan wawancara mendalam bersama guru kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran PKn di SD Negeri 2 Mangunsari telah menerapkan metode ceramah interaktif, diskusi, tanya jawab, serta penggunaan media proyektor. Namun, beberapa kendala masih ditemukan, seperti keaktifan siswa yang tidak merata, perbedaan kemampuan belajar, keterbatasan media digital interaktif, pengelolaan waktu yang belum optimal, dan kompleksitas penerapan asesmen autentik. Analisis literatur menunjukkan bahwa media digital inovatif, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, dan penyederhanaan asesmen autentik dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PKn. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran PKn perlu dirancang lebih adaptif, interaktif, dan didukung media pembelajaran yang variatif agar mampu memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik secara optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti mengenai akreditasi sekolah di SDN Cipocok Jaya 1. Akreditasi sekolah merupakan pengakuan dan penilaian suatu lembaga pendidikan oleh Badan Akreditasi Nasional Sekolah/Madrasah (BAN-S/M) dalam kaitannya dengan kelayakan dan efisiensi lembaga yang hasilnya berupa pengakuan penilaian kesesuaian bahwa lembaga tersebut sudah memenuhi syarat atau ketentuan yang telah ditetapkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan beberapa guru yang ada di SDN Cipocok Jaya 1, wawancara dilakukan selama 3 hari dengan narasumber guru kelas, Operator sekolah, dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa SDN Cipocok Jaya telah melakukan akreditasi sebanyak 3 kali dan selalu mendapatkan nilai A dalam akreditasi sekolah. Untuk menghadapi akreditasi yang akan dilaksanakan pada tahun 2023 sekolah sedang mempersiapkan dokumen serta memenuhi delapan standar nasional pendidikan. Namun, sekolah mengalami kendala dalam mempertahankan akreditasi sekolah yang didapatkan selama ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pentingnya hubungan sekolah dengan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SDS Angkasa Kupang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara terbuka dan angket kepada lima orang guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan kemitraan sekolah–masyarakat berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan persentase respons positif sebesar 98,7%. Sekolah telah menjalin berbagai bentuk kerja sama, seperti kegiatan kebersihan lingkungan, kegiatan keagamaan, bakti sosial, open house, dan pemanfaatan media sosial. Selain itu, keterlibatan orang tua dalam komunikasi dan konsultasi rutin turut mendukung perkembangan akademik, karakter, dan motivasi belajar siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kemitraan yang kuat antara sekolah dan masyarakat berperan penting dalam keberhasilan program sekolah serta efektivitas proses pembelajaran.
