Abstract

التي تتسبب في عدم اهتمام الطلاب بتعلم اللغة العربية. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى (1) تحديد احتياجات الطلاب للوسائل التعليمية المساعدة لفهم التراكيب باستخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي ديالوغ فلو (2) تحديد مدى قابلية الوسائل التعليمية المساعدة لفهم التراكيب باستخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي ديالوغ فلو. طريقة البحث المستخدمة هي البحث والتطوير باستخدام نموذج التطوير 4D. ونتج عن هذه الدراسة أداة تعليمية لفهم التقريب باستخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي ديالوغ فلو. في مدرسة المتوسطة الحكومية 1 بوكيت تنجي، خاصة لطلاب الصف الثامن. يناقش الذكاء الاصطناعي ديالوغ فلو. مواد تعليمية وعينات من تعريف وأمثلة المواد والألعاب ومقاطع الفيديو باستخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي هيجن. نتائج هذه الدراسة هي (1) نتائج تحليل احتياجات الطلاب هي أنهم بحاجة إلى أداة تعليمية لفهم التراكيب باستخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي ديالوغ فلو لدعم تعلم التراكيب في الصف الثامن. (2) نتائج ورقة التقييم من ثلاثة خبراء، وهي متوسط 3.76 مع تقييم مناسب جدًا. (3) نتائج الاستبيانات من الطلاب واختبارات الفعالية، وهي متوسط 4.64 و 87.3 بتقييم عملي جدًا. تشير هذه النتائج إلى أن هذه الوسيلة جيدة للاستخدام في تدريس مادة التراكيب في الصف الثامن بالمدرسة المتوسطة الحكومية 1 بوكيت تنجي.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low level of students’ social interaction skills at MTs Negeri 7 Agam, indicating problems in their social intelligence. This condition is assumed to be influenced by peer relationships and family environment, which may not optimally support students’ social development. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effects of peers, family environment, and both variables simultaneously on students’ social intelligence. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative design. The population consists of 253 students, with a sample of 98 students selected using proportional random sampling based on the Taro Yamane formula. The research instrument is a questionnaire covering peer influence, family environment, and social intelligence variables. Data analysis is conducted using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression to test the research hypotheses. The results show that peers have a significant effect on social intelligence, contributing 9.9%. The family environment also has a significant effect with a higher contribution of 30.9%. Simultaneously, peers and family environment significantly influence students’ social intelligence with a combined contribution of 34.3%. These findings highlight the important role of both factors in enhancing students’ social intelligence.

Abstract

Speaking is one of the most essential skills in learning a foreign language, yet it often becomes the most challenging for students to master. Many learners struggle with confidence, vocabulary limitations, and anxiety when speaking English. This study explores the role of peer interaction in improving students' speaking skills in Class 10 at MAN 2 Bukittinggi. The research was motivated by preliminary findings that showed varied student preferences some felt more comfortable interacting with peers, while others preferred teacher-led activities. Using a qualitative approach, the researcher collected data through classroom observations and semi-structured interviews with one English teacher and six students from Class 10 E.2. The findings revealed that peer interaction significantly supports the development of speaking skills by creating a more relaxed and supportive learning environment. Students were observed actively participating in discussions, giving feedback, correcting one another, and engaging in various types of peer interaction such as collaboration, tutoring, and modeling. While some students remained dependent on teacher presence, the majority benefited from the freedom and encouragement peer learning provided. Interviews confirmed that students felt more confident and motivated when speaking with friends rather than the teacher. The study concludes that peer interaction is an effective strategy in enhancing speaking skills. It not only improves students’ fluency but also builds their confidence, independence, and social support in the learning process. This approach, when properly designed, can serve as a meaningful component of communicative language teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for retaining qualified teachers through a humanistic management approach in schools to ensure sustainable educational quality and organizational stability. The research employed a qualitative case study design, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using thematic techniques. The findings indicate that teacher retention is influenced not only by financial factors but also by empathetic leadership, job satisfaction, supportive organizational culture, and opportunities for professional development. The humanistic management approach effectively creates a work environment that respects individual dignity, encourages active participation, and supports teachers’ psychological well-being. Participative and communicative school leadership plays a crucial role in strengthening organizational commitment and teacher loyalty, while a positive organizational culture and continuous professional development enhance teachers’ emotional attachment to the institution. Therefore, effective teacher retention strategies require a holistic approach grounded in human values to improve satisfaction, commitment, and the overall quality of education sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of the readiness of fire fighting equipment in addressing fire hazards on board KM Sabuk Nusantara 37. The background of this research is based on the importance of fire protection systems on board ships as a preventive and emergency response measure in accordance with international maritime safety regulations. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews with ship officers and crew members, and documentation during sea practice. The data were analyzed using triangulation techniques to obtain valid and objective conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the vessel has been equipped with fire-fighting equipment and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in accordance with safety standards. The Portable Fire Extinguishers (PFE) were found to be in good condition, with normal pressure, intact safety seals, and periodic inspections conducted regularly. However, several issues were identified in the fire hose system, including corroded nozzles and damaged or empty hose boxes, indicating that the overall readiness has not yet been fully optimized. The contributing factors include insufficient comprehensive maintenance, the lack of timely replacement of damaged equipment, and the uneven understanding among crew members regarding their duties as specified in the muster list. Optimization efforts include implementing a planned maintenance system, replacing unserviceable equipment, and enhancing crew competence through regular training and periodic fire drills.

Abstract

This study aims to develop PAPRIKA (Papan Tarik Pancasila) as an instructional media to improve students learning achievement, ensuring that it is feasible, practical, and effective. Te research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The limited trial subjects consisted of 10 students from class II B at SD Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun. The field trial was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun involving 28 students from class II A. Tests, questionnaires, and documentation were employed as data gathering methods. Both quantitative and descriptive analysis were used in data analysis methods. The validity and reliability of the tests instruments were examined using SPSS 26. The effect of PAPRIKA (Papan Tarik Pancasila) instructional media on students learning achievement was analyzed using normality tests and the Paired Sample t-Test. The results of the study showed that feasibility assessment from material experts reached 94% and from media experts 96,7% both categorized as “Highly Feasible”. The practically results based on teachers responses reached 95%, while students responses reached 91%. The effectiveness of the instructional media was determined through the Paired Sample t-Test, where the pretest and posttest results obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest results. Therefore, PAPRIKA (Papan Tarik Pancasila) instructional media is feasible, practical, and effective in improving students learning achievements.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya sebagian murid yang mengalami prokrastinasi akademik yang cukup mengkhawatirkan. Hal ini tampak dari kecendrungan murid malas mengerjakan tugas, sering menunda tugas, lebih mementingkan bermain game dan media sosial daripada mengerjakan tugas dan kurang mampu dalam menajemen waktu yang baik. Keadaan tersebut muncul karena sebagian murid belum memiliki kemampuan yang cukup dalam mengatur dan mengarahkan kegiatan belajarnya sendiri. Oleh sebab itu, kajian ini dilakukan untuk menggambarkan tingkat kebiasaan menunda penyelesaian tugas, kemampuan mengelola proses belajar (self regulated learning), serta melihat hubungan antara keduanya pada murid kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Banuhampu. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan berbasis angka yang menelaah keterkaitan antar gejala, dengan subjek seluruh murid kelas VIII dan sebagian dipilih secara acak sehingga diperoleh 161 responden. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa kebiasaan menunda tugas maupun kemampuan murid dalam mengatur kegiatan belajar berada pada tingkat sedang. Temuan penelitian juga memperlihatkan adanya hubungan yang jelas antara kemampuan mengelola belajar dan kebiasaan menunda tugas, di mana semakin baik kemampuan self regulated learning yang dimiliki murid, maka kecenderungan menunda pekerjaan sekolah akan semakin berkurang. Besarnya pengaruh kemampuan tersebut terhadap perilaku menunda tugas mencapai lebih dari separuh, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor lain di luar kajian ini.

Abstract

Impact of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on students' critical thinking skills in social studies lessons. Critical thinking skills have a very strategic position in the social studies learning process. Because this subject not only requires mastery of social and historical facts, but also the ability to analyze social phenomena, evaluate public policies, understand diverse perspectives, and make decisions based on rational and evidence-based arguments. The existence of AI in social studies learning can help to analyze population data, map economic dynamics, simulate social conflicts or evaluate data-driven public policies, all of which have the potential to strengthen students' analysis and evaluation skills. This study aims to determine the model of the implementation model of the effective use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in social studies learning and the impact of the implementation of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in social studies learning on students' critical thinking skills. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The results of the literature study found that the effective AI Implementation Model in social studies learning is a model that places AI as a cognitive tool, not as a substitute for students' thinking processes. As well as the impact of AI on students' critical thinking skills in social studies learning, it shows that positive impacts can help in understanding social phenomena critically, reflectively and data-based. However, it can have a negative impact if the dependence on using AI.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of audiovisual media on the cognitive dimension of the Pancasila Student Profile in teaching morals to elementary school students. The use of audiovisual media, such as animated videos, is considered capable of presenting material in a more engaging and concrete manner, thus facilitating students' understanding of moral values. This study focused on fourth-grade elementary school students in Phase B, where students' cognitive thinking skills begin to develop, including understanding, remembering, and applying concepts in everyday life. The analysis shows that audiovisual media plays a positive role in improving students' cognitive abilities, particularly in understanding, analyzing, and internalizing moral values in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using PowerPoint as a learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 3 Jambangan. The background of this study is the low mathematics achievement caused by conventional teaching methods and the lack of varied learning media. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest model. The subjects of this study were fourth-grade students. Data were collected using achievement tests administered before and after the treatment. The results showed an improvement in students’ learning outcomes after the implementation of PowerPoint media. The average posttest score was higher than the pretest score. This indicates that the use of PowerPoint has a positive effect on students’ mathematics learning outcomes. PowerPoint helps present learning materials in a more engaging, concrete, and understandable way, thereby increasing students’ interest and motivation. In conclusion, the use of PowerPoint as a learning media significantly improves the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 3 Jambangan. Therefore, teachers are encouraged to utilize technology-based learning media to enhance the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process.
