Abstract

Cultural, religious, and social diversity is an inseparable reality of modern society. On the one hand, diversity serves as a source of social enrichment; on the other hand, it has the potential to generate conflict if not managed wisely. In this context, tolerance becomes a fundamental value in maintaining social harmony. However, sustainable tolerance requires a strong ethical foundation, one of which is fraternity. This study aims to examine the role of fraternity as a pillar of tolerance in the development of a culture of world peace. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method by analyzing academic books, national and international journal articles, and official documents from international organizations related to fraternity, tolerance, and peace. The findings indicate that fraternity plays a strategic role in strengthening tolerance through the cultivation of empathy, dialogue, and social responsibility. Furthermore, fraternity functions as both a preventive and conflict-resolution approach in managing social tensions and serves as a foundational element in fostering an inclusive and sustainable culture of world peace. Therefore, strengthening the value of fraternity is essential for promoting tolerance and achieving peaceful, just, and harmonious social life at local, national, and global levels.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the concepts, case studies, and practices of Islamic education management in improving the quality of educational institutions. The method used is a qualitative approach with library research. The results of the study indicate that Islamic education management is a process of managing educational institutions that integrates modern management functions with Islamic values ​​such as trustworthiness, justice, and responsibility. The case studies indicate that the main problems lie in weak planning, limited human resources, and a suboptimal evaluation system. Effective management practices include strategic planning, competency-based organization, innovative learning implementation, and ongoing supervision. With the implementation of good management, Islamic educational institutions can improve the quality of education and shape the character of students who excel intellectually and spiritually.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the performance management system, including performance planning, organizing, monitoring, evaluation, and performance development within organizations. The research employs a library research approach by reviewing relevant scientific literature related to performance management concepts and practices. The findings indicate that organizational performance effectiveness is strongly influenced by clear goal setting, structured task allocation, systematic monitoring mechanisms, and objective and continuous evaluation systems. Furthermore, performance development through training, coaching, and constructive feedback plays a crucial role in enhancing human resource competencies. The integration of all stages of performance management in a coherent and systematic manner contributes to the creation of a productive, accountable, and adaptive work culture in response to environmental changes. Therefore, the implementation of a well-structured performance management system becomes a key strategy for improving organizational competitiveness and long-term sustainability

Abstract

The multifaceted nature of tribes, cultures, languages, and religions present in Indonesia engenders a pluralistic social reality among its populace. This scenario necessitates a to facilitate the harmonious navigation of diversity. The objective of this research is to elucidate the concept of pluralism within the Islamic teaching framework and to evaluate its pertinence within the realm of multicultural education. The research employs a qualitative methodology, characterized by a library research approach. Data were acquired through a documentation methodology that encompassed literature reviews from Google Scholar academic databases and nationally indexed SINTA journals, utilizing sampling techniques designed to identify pertinent sources published in the preceding decade. The results indicate that the notion of pluralism in Islamic teachings is robustly endorsed by theological principles derived from the Qur'an and Hadith, encompassing the teachings of ta'aruf, la ikraha fi al-din, and the universal concept of ummat. The tenets of Islamic pluralism, including tasamuh, tawazun, i'tide, and ukhuwah, exhibit substantial congruence with the objectives of multicultural education. The operationalization of these principles within the educational sphere can be realized through an integrative curricular approach, the establishment of an inclusive educational environment, and the proactive engagement of educators. In conclusion, when Islamic teachings are interpreted in a comprehensive and contextual manner, they furnish a robust foundation for fostering a peaceful and harmonious communal existence, as well as providing a strategic basis for enhancing multicultural education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the concepts of pluralism and multiculturalism, their implementation, the challenges faced, and efforts to strengthen them in social and cultural aspects. Pluralism emphasizes the importance of recognizing diversity, while multiculturalism focuses on managing diversity harmoniously within public policies. This research employs a qualitative method through a literature study, and the findings indicate that although pluralism and multiculturalism have the potential to create harmony, challenges such as identity conflicts and discrimination still persist. Multicultural education and inclusive policies play a crucial role in enhancing tolerance and awareness of diversity; therefore, a shared commitment and sustainable policies are needed so that pluralism and multiculturalism can strengthen national unity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of child-centered leadership management in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) to improve learning quality. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of principals, teachers, and educational staff in an early childhood education institution. The results showed that the implementation of child-centered leadership management was carried out through planning learning programs based on children’s needs, organizing safe and attractive learning environments, implementing active play-based learning, and conducting continuous supervision and evaluation. The principal’s leadership strategy was also reflected through teacher coaching, strengthening teamwork, providing learning facilities, and building partnerships with parents. This implementation had a positive impact on improving learning quality, indicated by increased children’s active participation, teacher creativity, conducive learning atmosphere, and the development of children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and motor aspects. Supporting factors included principal competence, teacher professionalism, parental support, and adequate facilities, while inhibiting factors were limited budgets, lack of training, and low participation of some parents. Therefore, child-centered leadership management plays an important role in improving the quality of early childhood education services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of educational leadership in the management of school cooperatives and to identify the challenges faced in their implementation. School cooperatives have a strategic function as a medium for entrepreneurship learning and the development of students’ character. However, their success is highly influenced by the quality of educational leadership, particularly that of school principals and supervising teachers. This study employs a library research method, which involves reviewing and analyzing various sources of literature such as books, academic journals, and relevant research findings. The results indicate that educational leadership plays roles as planner, organizer, motivator, supervisor, decision maker, human resource developer, and liaison with stakeholders. Effective leadership is able to enhance student participation, build a positive organizational culture, and optimize the function of cooperatives as a learning medium. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including limited managerial competence, low student participation, limited resources, lack of technology utilization, and weak coordination. Therefore, innovative, collaborative, and transformational leadership is needed to ensure that school cooperatives can develop optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

Leadership in Early Childhood Education (ECE) plays a strategic role in determining the quality of children’s educational outcomes. However, leadership practices that remain focused on administrative aspects and learning processes pose challenges in achieving optimal educational outputs. This study aims to analyze the concept of output-based leadership in ECE, identify its underlying principles, and examine the strategies and challenges in its implementation. The method used is qualitative research with a literature study approach, drawing on national and international journal sources from the last five years. Data collection was conducted through documentation studies, while data analysis employed the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that output-based leadership emphasizes the achievement of holistic child development, encompassing cognitive, socio-emotional, and character aspects. The main supporting principles include service, persuasion, guidance, efficiency, and sustainability. Effective implementation strategies involve transformational, instructional, and collaborative leadership. The challenges faced include limited leadership competencies, insufficient resources, constraints in implementing holistic-integrative programs, and low involvement of parents and the community. Therefore, strengthening leadership capacity and fostering collaboration among stakeholders are essential to sustainably improve the quality of ECE outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Archival Management Information System (SIM Kearsipan) as well as the role of educational leadership in supporting records retrieval within educational organizations. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, involving administrative staff directly engaged in records management as research subjects. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive analysis, validity and reliability tests, and simple regression. The findings indicate that the implementation of the system falls into the good to very good category in enhancing the speed, accuracy, and convenience of records retrieval. Furthermore, a positive relationship was identified between the utilization of the archival information system and the effectiveness of records retrieval, with educational leadership also contributing to the optimization of system use. However, several challenges remain, including insufficient training, data entry errors, and limited facilities, which hinder system optimization. Therefore, improving user competence, continuously developing the system, and strengthening adaptive and visionary leadership support are necessary to ensure optimal system utilization. Abstract

This study was motivated by the fact that some students of the Civic Education (PPKn) Study Program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Lampung, still experience difficulties in maintaining consistency and perseverance (adversity quotient) while completing their thesis. One external factor presumed to play an important role is the family social environment, which includes emotional, instrumental, informational, and appraisal support. This research aimed to determine whether there is a relationship between the family social environment and students’ adversity quotient in completing their thesis. The study employed a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population consisted of 116 PPKn students from the 2022 cohort who were in the process of writing their thesis, with a sample of 90 students determined using the Taro Yamane formula and random sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire developed based on indicators of the family social environment and the adversity quotient indicators (control, ownership, reach, and endurance). Data were analyzed using SPSS through correlation tests, normality tests, linearity tests, and hypothesis testing. The results showed a strong and positive relationship between the family social environment and students’ adversity quotient. These findings indicate that the better the family social support, the higher the students’ adversity quotient in completing their thesis. This study provides empirical evidence that strengthening the role of the family is a strategic factor in enhancing students’ resilience, perseverance, and ability to overcome academic challenges.
