Abstract

The rapid growth of digital technology has brought about a range of moral challenges in students’ behavior, especially in relation to media ethics and the ability to filter information. This condition highlights the urgent need for the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in guiding and directing students’ digital activities so they remain within proper boundaries. This study aims to examine how the personality competence of PAI teachers can serve as a moral filter for students’ digital behavior from the perspective of Islamic education. Adopting a library research approach, this study reviews various academic sources, including books and relevant journal articles that discuss teacher competence and the dynamics of digital behavior. The findings indicate that personality competence, covering integrity, role modeling, emotional maturity, and consistency in attitude, has a significant contribution in developing students’ ethical awareness when using digital technology. In this regard, teachers are not only responsible for delivering knowledge but also act as role models who are capable of instilling moral values in students’ digital lives. The study further implies that strengthening the personality competence of PAI teachers is an essential preventive and educational effort to address the negative impacts of the digital era. Such efforts play a crucial role in shaping a generation that maintains noble character while navigating an increasingly boundless digital environment.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of internalizing faith and piety values in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning to support the achievement of the Graduate Profile, especially in aspects of faith, piety, and noble character. The purpose of this research is to describe the forms of internalization of faith and piety values in grade IV PAI learning, the role of teachers in the process, and its impact on the Graduate Profile. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design at SDN 158 Palembang. Data were obtained through interviews with PAI teachers and the principal, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with validity tested through source, technique, and time triangulation. The results show internalization occurs through religious habituation, value integration in learning, and routine school religious programs, while teachers contribute through planning, modeling behavior, habituation methods, and strengthening values in learning. This internalization increases worship habits, religious awareness, and students’ moral and social development. Thus, internalization of faith and piety in PAI learning contributes positively to Graduate Profile achievement in elementary schools, strengthening students’ religious character sustainably in line with national education goals and supporting Pancasila Student Profile implementation.

Abstract

Rambutan leaves (Nephelium Lappaceum L) come from southeast Asia where They can be found in Indonesia, the Philippines, Kalimantan, Thailand and northern Australia. Rambutan fruit skin contains terpenoids, polyphenols and flavonoids which have many benefits. Traditionally, the rambutan plant is used for various diseases. All parts of the rambutan plant have their own properties, such as rambutan leaves as an alternative treatment as an antibacterial, fruit skin to treat canker sores, roots to treat fever, seed fiber to treat diabetes mellintus, leaves to treat diarrhea and blachen hair. There are two form of bath soap liquid soap and solid soap. Solid soap is made with a saponification process between far or carboxylic acid and potassium hydroxide (KOH) (NAOH). After conducting organoleptic tests, viscosity, pH, free alkali content, foam height, irritation tests on liquid soap with concentrations of 5%, 10%, 15%, all of the above tests were found to not meet the Indonesian national standards for liquid soap. Testing was carried out for 2 weeks.

Abstract

Multiculturalism is a concept that explains the cultural diversity that exists within society and the importance of mutual respect for these differences. This article aims to explain the meaning, principles, and importance of multiculturalism in social life. The method used in writing this article is qualitative research with a library research approach. Data and information were obtained from various sources, such as books, journals, and scientific articles related to the concept of multiculturalism. The results of the study indicate that multiculturalism emphasizes tolerance, equality, mutual respect, and acceptance of differences in culture, language, religion, ethnicity, and traditions within society. With an understanding of multiculturalism, it is hoped that society will be able to live in harmony, peace, and cooperation despite their diverse backgrounds. Furthermore, the concept of multiculturalism also plays a crucial role in fostering unity and solidarity amidst existing diversity. Therefore, the application of multicultural values is crucial in social life and education to create a just, harmonious, and respectful society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the disciplinary character of fifth-grade students at SDN 112 Pekanbaru and to identify the factors influencing its development. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach involving the principal, the fifth-grade teacher, and fifth-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through source, technique, and time triangulation. The findings indicate that students’ disciplinary character has developed fairly well, reflected in three main indicators: time discipline, rule compliance, and behavioral discipline. Time discipline is demonstrated through punctual attendance and timely assignment submission; rule compliance is reflected in adherence to school regulations and willingness to accept gradual sanctions; while behavioral discipline is shown through politeness, responsibility, and respect toward teachers and peers. Supporting factors include teacher role modeling, consistent habituation practices, enforcement of school rules, and character-based school programs, whereas inhibiting factors mainly stem from inconsistent discipline practices within the family environment. In conclusion, the disciplinary character of fifth-grade students at SDN 112 Pekanbaru has been developed through continuous habituation and collaboration between school and family, although further reinforcement is needed to transform external compliance into students’ internal awareness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences, influences, and effectiveness of the use of the SAVI learning model assisted by puzzle games on the poetry writing skills of grade V elementary school students. The research uses a quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population as well as the research sample is all grade V students of SDN 26 Singkawang which totals 29 students with saturated sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through a poetry writing skills test. Data analysis used normality test, paired sample t-test, effect size test, and N-gain test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between poetry writing skills before and after treatment, with the value of t-count.=11.419 greater than ,t-table.=2.048. The influence of using the SAVI model assisted by puzzle games is relatively high with an effect size value of 2,378. In addition, the results of the N-gain test showed an increase of 63% in the category of quite effective. Thus, the SAVI learning model assisted by puzzle games can significantly improve students' poetry writing skills and is suitable for use in learning Indonesian in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Rumus Sakti method in improving students’ basic morphology (sharaf) skills in Tsulatsy Mujarrad, to identify the improvement of students’ learning outcomes, and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in the learning process. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 11 eighth-grade students of MTs Abu Hurairah. The results showed that the implementation of the Rumus Sakti method significantly improved students’ learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle stage, only 2 students (18%) achieved mastery with an average score of 56.6. In cycle I, the number increased to 4 students (36.3%) with an average score of 76.3. In cycle II, the number of students achieving mastery increased significantly to 10 students (90%) with an average score of 88. The supporting factors included increased student enthusiasm, activeness, and self-confidence during the learning process. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors included differences in students’ initial abilities and their tendency to memorize formulas without understanding the underlying concepts. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Rumus Sakti method is effective in improving students’ basic sharaf skills and Arabic learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the novel Amba by Laksmi Pamuntjak using the Poststructuralism paradigm through Jacques Derrida’s strategy of Deconstruction. Laksmi Pamuntjak’s Amba is analyzed based on the dismantling of binary oppositions, the process of deferred meaning (différance), and the presence of the trace (trace). The research method employed is the qualitative descriptive method. This study utilizes stages of deconstructive analysis, including reconstruction, deconstruction, and reinscription. The analysis process was conducted by collecting data findings in the form of words, phrases, clauses, sentences, and paragraphs within the research object that indicate the instability of meaning. This study found various forms of deconstruction of historical narratives and identities within Laksmi Pamuntjak’s novel Amba. The dismantling of binary oppositions was found in the hierarchical shift between History and Fiction, where the text challenges the dominance of official history through personal narratives. Furthermore, the concept of différance is illustrated in the identity of the character Amba, which is fluid and consistently defers the finality of meaning. Meanwhile, the presence of the trace (trace) explains the remnants of wayang myths present to demonstrate the limitations of language in encapsulating the historical trauma of 1965. This study concludes that the novel Amba actively deconstructs itself by rejecting the authority of a single meaning.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital media in improving student learning outcomes in the context of Islamic Education. The digital transformation has reshaped the learning process through the use of e-learning, instructional videos, interactive applications, and online platforms that make learning more flexible, visual, and participatory. This study employs a literature review approach by examining relevant empirical sources on the use of digital media in Islamic Education learning. The findings indicate that digital media tends to enhance student motivation, engagement, and comprehension, particularly when content is presented interactively and supported by adequate teacher competence. Nevertheless, its effectiveness is not always linear with respect to learning outcomes, as it is influenced by teacher readiness, instructional design, internet access, device availability, and student characteristics; in certain cases, the effect of e-learning on Islamic Education learning outcomes was found to be very weak and insignificant. Therefore, digital media is effective as a tool for reinforcing Islamic Education learning when it is integrated pedagogically and contextually, and supported by adequate infrastructure.

Abstract

The phenomenon of cyberbullying is increasingly prevalent and has serious impacts on individuals’ psychological and moral conditions, especially among adolescents. This study aims to analyze cyberbullying through the perspectives of humanity and moral autonomy based on the thought of Immanuel Kant. The method used is qualitative-descriptive with a literature study approach. The results show that cyberbullying contradicts Kant’s categorical imperative, which emphasizes respect for human dignity and actions based on universal principles. Low levels of digital literacy and ethical awareness are the main factors contributing to this behavior. In conclusion, addressing cyberbullying requires not only legal approaches but also the strengthening of moral education and digital ethics to build a more responsible and civilized society.
