Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of science literacy-based learning assisted by the PhET Virtual Lab on the topic of dynamic electricity, designed in accordance with the PISA 2025 framework. The study employed a descriptive quantitative method involving 96 PGSD students from three classes at a Teacher Education Institution (LPTK) in Makassar City. The learning activities included case analysis, virtual experiments, the development of educational posters, and community outreach activities. Data were collected using a learning implementation observation sheet and analyzed descriptively using percentages. The results indicated that all stages of the learning process were implemented very well and successfully facilitated the integration of scientific competencies, scientific knowledge, environmental science, and science identity within a unified learning experience. These findings suggest that science literacy-based learning assisted by the PhET Virtual Lab has the potential to serve as a relevant instructional strategy for supporting the implementation of the PISA 2025 framework in the education of prospective elementary school teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze entrepreneurship and leadership strategies in the This study aims to analyze the impact of rising basic commodity prices on changes in the consumption patterns of Indonesian society in 2025. The study employed a quantitative method with a descriptive approach using secondary data obtained from Statistics Indonesia (BPS), scientific journals, and related literature sources. The results indicate that the increase in the prices of basic necessities such as rice, red chili, cooking oil, sugar, and eggs has significantly affected the consumption patterns of Indonesian households. People tend to prioritize primary needs over secondary and tertiary needs. In addition, households have implemented various saving strategies, such as reducing non-primary consumption, choosing cheaper substitute goods, reducing shopping frequency, and utilizing savings to meet daily needs. High inflation in the food, beverage, and tobacco sectors has also increased the proportion of household expenditure allocated to food consumption. This study concludes that the rising prices of basic necessities have had a significant impact on the purchasing power and welfare of Indonesian society in 2025.

Abstract

Nutritional problems in early childhood remain a critical issue in Indonesia, characterized by high prevalence of stunting and wasting. The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG), launched on January 6, 2025 by the Indonesian government under President Prabowo-Gibran, represents a strategic intervention to address nutritional deficiencies, targeting 82.9 million beneficiaries including preschool children. This study aims to analyze parental perceptions of MBG implementation at TK Immanuel Kids, Medan. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews with 10 parents conducted from April 13-17, 2025. Perceptions were analyzed across three dimensions: cognition, affection, and conation. Findings reveal that while most parents were aware of the program through school WhatsApp groups, their depth of understanding varied considerably. Affective responses ranged from positive (feeling helped and reassured) to negative (concerns over food quality, hygiene, and menu suitability). In terms of conation, the majority offered conditional support supplementing nutrition at home while voicing concerns about food quality consistency and menu variation. The study concludes that MBG at TK Immanuel Kids shows promising potential but requires improvements in food quality consistency, menu diversity, and transparent communication between school and parents to maximize program effectiveness.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of humanistic da’wah management from the perspective of KH Sholeh Bahruddin within a multicultural context. The background of this research is rooted in the increasing challenges of intolerance and exclusivism in religious preaching, which require a more inclusive and humane approach. This study aims to analyze the conceptual construction, characteristics, and relevance of humanistic da’wah management in addressing multicultural societal dynamics. This research employs a qualitative approach with a conceptual and library-based method, focusing on the analysis of primary and secondary sources related to the thoughts and practices of KH Sholeh Bahruddin. The results indicate that humanistic da’wah management emphasizes values such as tolerance, inclusivity, dialogue, and respect for diversity, distinguishing it from conventional, normative approaches. Furthermore, its implementation proves relevant in fostering social harmony and mitigating potential conflicts in multicultural societies. In conclusion, the humanistic da’wah management model contributes significantly to the development of a moderate, inclusive, and context-sensitive paradigm of Islamic preaching in contemporary settings.

Abstract

Language skills are fundamental competencies that elementary school students must possess to support literacy development and communication abilities. However, in first-grade Indonesian language learning, some students still experience difficulties in recognizing, reading, pronouncing, and writing simple vocabulary. This article aims to describe a best practice of implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the topic of occupations vocabulary to improve students' language skills. The activity was conducted in Grade 1 of SD Supriyadi 02 involving 25 students. The method used was a best practice approach with a qualitative descriptive design. The learning process was carried out in three meetings through the stages of determining essential questions, planning the project, scheduling activities, implementing the project, presenting the results, and evaluating the learning experience. The project product was an occupation-themed diorama. Data were collected through observations, attitude assessments, skills assessments, and knowledge evaluation tests. The results showed that the implementation of the PjBL model improved students' activeness, communication confidence, ability to read occupation-related vocabulary, writing skills, and presentation skills in group work. The application of differentiated instruction and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) also helped accommodate the diverse learning needs of students. Therefore, Project Based Learning proved to be an effective approach for improving language skills among elementary school students.

Abstract

Sleep deprivation is an increasingly common problem due to changes in modern lifestyles and can have negative impacts on health. One of the most significant biological consequences is the increase in oxidative stress, which may lead to DNA damage and impaired cellular function. This study aims to examine the effects of sleep deprivation on DNA damage and cellular health based on findings from various published studies. The method used was a qualitative literature review. Data were collected from national and international scientific articles discussing the relationship between sleep deprivation, oxidative stress, DNA damage, and cellular health. The collected data were analyzed descriptively to identify the relationships among these variables. The review findings indicate that sleep deprivation increases the production of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), which triggers oxidative stress and causes DNA damage. Furthermore, sleep deprivation may inhibit DNA repair mechanisms, alter gene regulation, and increase the accumulation of genetic damage within cells. Persistent DNA damage can induce cellular aging, apoptosis, and increase the risk of various chronic diseases. Therefore, adequate sleep quality and duration are essential for maintaining DNA stability and cellular health.

Abstract

Trasnformasi digital dalam pendidikan dasar merupakan prioritas strategis nasional yang tertuang dalam Peta Jalan Transformasi digital Pendidikan 2022-2026. Namun, implementasi digitalisasi pendidikan masih menghadapi berbagai kesenjangan anatar kebijakan dan kondisi nyata di lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesenjangan integrasi digital dalam kurikulum pendidikan dasar, menganalisis faktor penghambat dan pendukungnya, serta merumuskan rekomendasi kebijakan berbasis bukti ilmiah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan panduan PRISMA 2020. Pencarian dilakukan pada empat database (Google Scholar, Scopus, ERIC, dan SINTA) dengan rentang publikasi 2022-2024 menggunakan string pencarian terstruktur. Dari 487 artikel yang teridentifikasi, sebanyak 42 artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi setelah melalui proses screening dan penilaian kelayakan. Analisis tematik menemukan empat dimensi utama kesenjangan: (1) infrastruktur teknologi yang tidak merata, (2) rendahnya kompetensi pedagogi digital guru, (3) belum optimalnya integrasi TIK dalam kurikulum, dan (4) keterbatasan akses perangkat dan konektivitas. Keberhasilan digitalisasi pendidikan tidak hanya bergantung pada penyediaan teknologi, tetapi juga memerlukan penguatan ekosistem pendidikan secara menyeluruh. Diperlukan kebijakan yang inklusif, pemerataan infrastruktur, serta pengembangan kompetensi digital guru secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of family economic conditions on children’s education using a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were collected from 25 respondents through a Google Form questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Microsoft Excel. The results show that most respondents agree that family economic conditions support school needs, learning facilities, internet access, learning motivation, and academic achievement. However, some respondents still experience financial barriers in educational activities. The study concludes that family economic support plays an important role in supporting children’s education alongside parental attention and the learning environment. Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan perkembangan kemampuan menulis paragraf deskripsi pada murid kelas III Aceh SDN Pekunden berbantuan media konkret dalam bentuk misteri box. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan murid dalam menulis deskripsi yang ditandai dengan kurangnya penguasaan kosakata, ketidakmampuan menyusun kalimat secara logis, dan lemahnya struktur paragraf. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian iniadalah classroom action researchyang berlangsung selama dua putaran dengan penemuan masalah melalui kegiatan pra. Setiap putaran mencakup tahapan penyusunan rencana, implementasi kegiatan, pengamatan, dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan 26 murid kelas II sebagai subjek. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 26 murid kelas III. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes menulis. Hasil riset ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan media konkret berdampak pada peningkatan keterampilan menulis murid. Dalam kegiatan pra ketuntasan murid hanya 38%. sedangkan tahap satu dan kedua mengalami kenaikan hingga 69% dan 85%. Selain itu, murid tampak lebih aktif dan antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran berbantu media konkret (Misteri Box) terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis paragraf deskripsi pada murid sekolah dasar.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to develop an interactive flipbook media with a phonetic-picture approach and to describe its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving the reading ability of second-grade elementary school students. This is a Research and Development study using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were 30 second-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Sinabun, selected purposively. Data were collected through questionnaires and tests (pretest and posttest), then analyzed using the Mean formula, the percentage formula, and a paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS. The results show that the media obtained a very good validity from material experts (3.81), media experts (3.92), and design experts (3.80). The practicality level was also very good based on teacher responses (96.5%) and student responses (90.83%). The effectiveness test obtained a significance value of 0.000 (less than 0.05), with the average pretest score of 47.00 increasing to 80.83 in the posttest. Therefore, the interactive flipbook media with a phonetic-picture approach is declared valid, practical, and effective for improving the reading ability of second-grade elementary school students. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media flipbook interaktif dengan pendekatan fonetik gambar serta mendeskripsikan validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifannya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas II sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima tahap, yaitu analyze, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 siswa kelas II SD Negeri 2 Sinabun yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan tes (pretest dan posttest), kemudian dianalisis menggunakan rumus Mean, rumus persentase, serta uji-t sampel berkorelasi dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media memperoleh validitas sangat baik dari ahli materi (3,81), ahli media (3,92), dan ahli desain (3,80). Tingkat kepraktisan juga sangat baik berdasarkan respons guru (96,5%) dan respons siswa (90,83%). Hasil uji keefektifan memperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 (lebih kecil dari 0,05) dengan rata-rata pretest 47,00 meningkat menjadi 80,83 pada posttest. Dengan demikian, media flipbook interaktif dengan pendekatan fonetik gambar dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas II sekolah dasar.
