Abstract

The explosion of information in this era demands that the public must intervene to at least save themselves. Information moves so fast, which has been able to condition the public, including teenagers, as individuals who are always hungry for any information that impacts dependence on smartphones and social media. This condition is considered a nation's progress because it can be open to technological innovation. However, information technology gradually becomes a problem when there is an increase in false information, known as hoaxes, that dominate social media. Even information overlaps and reaches the public with unclear truth. Therefore, it is feared that the public will accept the essential information and ultimately act on the hoax they consume. Digital literacy is a method for forming public understanding in responding to hoax news.  Before digesting the news, the public is expected to evaluate and provide an assessment of the type of news. Therefore, the government and social groups are now actively promoting digital literacy to counter hoax news to create better public quality and maintain Indonesia's unity and integrity.

Abstract

This paper aims to obtain authentic scientific evidence about the status of the Covid-19 vaccination regulations from experts from both world health organizations and various institutions concerned with vaccination and pandemic issues. We obtained data to support this study from an electronic search for national and international health journals that focus on vaccination and preventing conflict in future meetings. We conducted in-depth studies and tests to turn off the data that we found answered the problem of this study wholly and validly. This study obtains secondary data from the evidence of previous scientific studies with a phenomenological approach, namely the exploration of accurate and accurate data to obtain valid answers. Based on the evidence and discussion of this data exposure, we can conclude that the vaccination law is a recommendation from the government to provide services against various threats caused by this pandemic, which is a recommendation that must be submitted persuasively and accurately. Thus, these findings become supporting data for further studies in the future.

Abstract

In today's highly competitive market, efficiency and effectiveness are essential for a service business. Processes in the organization must be planned and controlled, which is why management must do both. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe and recommend improvements to the internal control system in a consulting firm. This study uses a qualitative methodology that includes an in-depth review of one of the leading IT service providers in Indonesia. Budget planning and reallocation for projects are two areas where the top management approval process does not meet adequate internal controls. This consulting company can use Application Systems and Products in data processing (SAP) to integrate their internal activity processes, as a result of the proposed improvements from this research. Due to their status as SAP consultants, the company's costs will be lower than the cost of developing a new system.

Abstract

The development of media regulation in Indonesia follows the political rhythm. The rule of Government under President Sukarno (1959-1966) and President Suharto (1966-1998) put the press under rigorous control of the Government. The Government controls the media either through legislation or through licensing mechanisms. A media-stopped publisher is writing criticism, and then the Government will revoke its publishing license. The editor of a critical media will serve life in prison after its publication is eradicated. The revocation of the media licenses never went through a judicial process. The Government strictly restricts the right to free speech and information rights for citizens. Political reforms after Suharto's Government in 1998 brought a strengthening of press freedom

Abstract

The issue of Papua, especially related to the movement of the West Papua National Coalition for Liberation (WPNCL) in the international environment, is likely to have an impact on the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. This was motivated by WPNCL's efforts in fighting for Papuan independence both at home and abroad. The theoretical basis used in this study refers to the theory of self-determination, the theory of separatism, and the theory of public diplomacy. This type of research is descriptive analytical, using qualitative data, through data collection methods from the literature and reference studies. This study explains that the Papuan problem has yet to find a common ground or solution in its resolution. In fact, due to the dissatisfaction of the Papuan people over the Act of Free Choice and differences in understanding about Papua's history, which is increasingly protracted, it has triggered the emergence of Papuan separatist movements at home and abroad. The political movement maneuver of the Papuan separatist groups in the international environment aims to represent the demands of self-determination in Papua. Issues raised in seeking support in the environment include reviewing the process of creating the New York Agreement, reviewing the results of the Act of Free Choice, and the high number of human rights violations in Papua. One of them is an independent Papuan organization that is involved in international propaganda activities, namely WPNCL, whose movement tends to focus on propaganda for Papuan issues in the international environment. Facing these conditions, the Government of Indonesia needs to establish a foreign policy to reduce the emergence of foreign interference in resolving Papuan problems and the movement of Papuan separatist groups. In conclusion, this study aims to analyze the potential threats from the WPNCL movement in the international environment that will have an impact on the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia.

This research was conducted in Taluditi District, Pohuwato Regency, Gorontalo Province using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the supply chain value of corn commodities in the sub-district consists of supply chain actors. The supply chain actors involved are the main actors and supporting actors. The supply chain has a dynamic nature but involves three constant flows, namely the flow of products or goods, the flow of information and the flow of money. The value chain is a value activity divided into two types, namely the main activity and the supporting activity. The main actors in the corn value chain analysis include farmers, local traders and companies. The added value of corn commodity is the added value of a commodity because it undergoes processing, storage, transportation in a production process. The added value calculated in the value chain analysis is the added value obtained from each value chain actor involved in the corn harvest, namely the value added analysis of corn farmers, analysis of the added value of local traders or large collections and analysis of company value added. The results of this study are the corn value chain based on quantitative analysis, the highest margin from value chain actors is local traders of 377,500 Kg or 36.17%, the added value based on the hayami method on value chain actors shows that the main value chain actors who obtain the greatest added value are farmers and companies because it is classified as a value added ratio of >50%.
