Abstract

Social problems in Indonesia, such as corruption, drug abuse, and bullying, remain significant challenges impacting national development and social integrity. This study explores students' perspectives on these issues through a documentation study of 86 reflective articles written by Primakara University students. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with thematic analysis, the study identifies dominant themes and validates findings with national data and academic literature. The results reveal that students are highly aware of social issues and propose solution-based recommendations emphasizing education, empathy, and policy reform. These insights align with successful practices from Finland, Portugal, and Denmark. The study underscores the importance of student participation in social development and the need for progressive educational policies to support social change.

Abstract

In the digital era, the demands of education are to develop thinking skills relevant to the real world.. However, in reality, many students have difficulty with spatial thinking skills. Based on initial observations, many class VIIA students' scores are below the KKTP. Out of 33 students, only 36.4% of students' learning outcomes were complete. The results of spatial thinking skills were only 54.5% declared complete. This study aimed to determine whether the application of the PBL model assisted by Kahoot! and Google Earth could improve spatial thinking skills and social studies learning outcomes of class VII students of MTs Negeri 1 Sragen. In cycle 1, the completion of spatial thinking skills learning was 72.7% and the completion of learning outcomes was 78.8%. Because it was not according to the target, it was continued in cycle 2 with the results of spatial thinking skills learning completion of 84.8% and the completion of learning outcomes of 87.9%. From the results of cycle 2, learning was declared victorious. The impact is that students enjoy using technology to learn and develop their spatial thinking skills.   ABSTRAK Pada era digital, tuntutan dunia pendidikan adalah mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir yang relevan dengan dunia nyata. Keterampilan berpikir spasial dibutuhkan untuk memvisualisasikan objek dalam ruang. Namun pada kenyataannya, banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam keterampilan berpikir spasial. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal, nilai siswa kelas VIIA banyak yang berada di bawah KKTP, dari 33 siswa, hanya 36,4% hasil belajar siswa yang tuntas. Sedangkan hasil keterampilan berpikir spasial hanya 54,5% yang dinyatakan tuntas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model PBL berbantuan Kahoot! dan Google Earth dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir spasial dan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri 1 Sragen. Pada siklus 1 ketuntasan pembelajaran keterampilan berpikir spasial sebesar 72,7% dan ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 78,8%. Karena belum sesuai target maka dilanjutkan pada siklus 2 dengan hasil ketuntasan pembelajaran keterampilan berpikir spasial sebesar 84,8% dan ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 87,9%. Dari hasil siklus 2, pembelajaran dinyatakan berhasil. Dampaknya adalah siswa senang menggunakan teknologi untuk belajar dan mengembangkan diri dalam keterampilan berpikir spasial.

Abstract

The teaching methods and assignment variations are crucial in enhancing student learning outcomes and character development. This research seeks to improve students' academic performance and character development by applying an independent character-building learning approach. A classroom action research design was adopted over two cycles between January and April 2025. Data were gathered through observation and testing, and subsequently analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods. The research results indicate that student learning outcomes and character in Class VIII E at MTs Negeri 1 Sragen can be improved through learning using the portfolio assessment method. Learning outcomes improved, as evidenced by the average score rising from 72.41 in Cycle I to 93.10 in Cycle II. Meanwhile, the improvement in character is shown by a "Good" category in Cycle I and a "Very Good" category in Cycle II. Thus, the classical completeness achievement has been reached because it exceeds the established work indicator of 85%.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of using innovative technology-based learning media to improve student learning outcomes, especially in facing the educational challenges of the Society 5.0 era. This study examines the effectiveness of implementing Assemblr Edu media in enhancing student learning outcomes across various academic levels. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), analyzing 10 Sinta-indexed national journal articles published between 2021 and 2024. The results indicate that using Assemblr Edu effectively improves student learning outcomes, evidenced by increased average scores, completion percentages, and statistical significance. Its 3D visualizations and interactive features help reduce cognitive load and enhance understanding of abstract concepts, particularly in science subjects. In conclusion, Assemblr Edu is a universal and effective medium for various educational levels. This research recommends integrating Assemblr Edu with other models or media for optimal results. It suggests a need for in-depth identification of technical and non-technical obstacles in its implementation. This study provides an empirical foundation for developing technology-based learning strategies and innovative teaching practices in Indonesia. ABSTRAK Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya penggunaan media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis teknologi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di era Society 5.0. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji efektivitas penerapan media Assemblr Edu dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menganalisis 10 artikel jurnal nasional terindeks Sinta yang terbit antara tahun 2021–2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Assemblr Edu efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, terbukti dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata, persentase ketuntasan, dan signifikansi statistik. Visualisasi 3D dan fitur interaktifnya mampu mengurangi beban kognitif dan meningkatkan pemahaman konsep abstrak, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran IPA. Kesimpulannya, Assemblr Edu merupakan media yang universal dan efektif untuk berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi Assemblr Edu dengan model atau media lain untuk hasil yang lebih optimal, serta perlunya identifikasi mendalam terhadap kendala teknis dan non-teknis dalam implementasinya. Kontribusi penelitian ini memberikan landasan empiris bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan praktik pengajaran yang inovatif di Indonesia.

Abstract

In Indonesia, a tolerant attitude towards local culture can give birth to an inclusive and tolerant religious attitude, creating a peaceful and dynamic atmosphere of spiritual life. On the other hand, religion must exist, penetrate, and spread to influence the cultural appearance of society, without eliminating its cultural identity. In this way, religion and local culture are interrelated and complement each other; this is reflected in religious wisdom and cultural attitudes that are developed based on religion. This research uses field research, namely observations or observations involving researchers in the field. Abstract

This article explores the strategic contributions of two Islamic-based youth organizations. Ansor Youth Movement and Muhammadiyah Youth are working to actualize the values of national defense and strengthen civic engagement amid contemporary socio-political challenges in Indonesia. The background of this study is rooted in the urgent need to revitalize the concept of national defense, which is no longer limited to militaristic dimensions but also involves the role of citizens in maintaining social integration, interfaith tolerance, and national unity. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, conducted in Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using data reduction, thematic categorization, and interpretive meaning analysis. The findings reveal that the actualization of national defense by both organizations is implemented through cadre education, leadership training, and public advocacy grounded in national and religious values. Their involvement in cross-identity social actions, collaboration with the government, and efforts to counter intolerance serve as tangible forms of active citizenship. Furthermore, the development of social capital through solidarity, norms of reciprocity, and trust networks has proven crucial in strengthening civic resilience and national security. This article recommends the enhancement of harmony between youth organizations, government institutions, and educational entities in constructing an inclusive, critical, and value-based model of citizenship.

Abstract

This article examines ecological citizenship, which refers to individual awareness and responsibility as part of the larger natural environment, and is becoming increasingly important in the context of global climate change and the current environmental crisis. Being environmentally conscious is important for young citizens because they will inherit this planet in the future. The method used in this research is qualitative research with library research. Data was collected from an analysis of relevant source books and journals and a document analysis of several articles related to this topic. Citizenship Education plays an essential role in shaping ecological citizenship. Citizenship education develops attitudes of care, civic responsibility, commitment, and engagement for young citizens to act positively to protect the environment. Further research needs to be conducted to explore the most effective learning strategies in instilling the values of ecological citizenship, both through conventional methods and digital technology-based approaches. Young people are expected to understand the concept of environmental citizenship and actively participate in concrete actions.

Abstract

Pendidikan desain grafis memiliki peran strategis dalam mengembangkan keterampilan teknis dan kreativitas siswa. Namun, pendekatan pembelajaran yang terlalu menitikberatkan pada aspek teknis sering kali mengabaikan pentingnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang esensial dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki implementasi pembelajaran berbasis desain dengan pendekatan Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan prestasi akademik dan mengembangkan karakter siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus di sebuah sekolah menengah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi proses pembelajaran, wawancara dengan guru desain grafis, analisis portofolio tugas siswa, serta penyebaran kuesioner untuk mengukur persepsi siswa terhadap pengembangan karakter mereka, seperti kreativitas, kerja sama, dan kepemimpinan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PBL dalam pembelajaran desain grafis mampu meningkatkan kualitas hasil karya siswa serta membentuk karakter positif, termasuk kemampuan bekerja sama, kepemimpinan, dan kreativitas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan PBL tidak hanya efektif dalam meningkatkan prestasi akademik, tetapi juga berkontribusi terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa yang relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia profesional. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini mendorong pengintegrasian pendekatan berbasis masalah secara lebih luas dalam kurikulum pendidikan desain untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna dan kontekstual.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the psychological needs of substance abusers in Duhok City, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, using a mixed-methods approach to analyze 47 incarcerated individuals in the adult male and female reformatory of Duhok, and also collected official records from 2018 to 2024 related to substance convictions and individuals who visit health sectors with the intention of treatment. The assessment tools contained six psychological domains through semi-structured questionnaires to be analyzed for measuring the psychological needs. Participants reported significantly lower levels of psychological needs than expected (39.543 vs. 41.5, p < 0.05), with self-esteem being significantly affected and competence being less affected. Males reported stronger social bonds than females. Quantitative analysis revealed significant increases in substance-related convictions: adult males increased from 40 (2018) to 494 (2022) and 228 (from Jan to Jul 2024), totaling 1,830 convictions. The number of females who were convicted due to drugs is 138, while juvenile males recorded are 122, among 11–17-year-olds who are trafficking and consuming drugs. Treatment pathways have shown a shift from public to private health care. Azadi Hospital's cases have decreased from 160 (2019) to 90 in 2023 and only 20 (from Jan to Jul 2024), while private clinics treated over 1,000 patients annually. These findings highlight the urgent need for comprehensive psychological interventions that address low self-esteem, gender-specific programs, fill the psychological needs, and improve access to healthcare to address the region's worsening substance abuse crisis.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an attitude assessment instrument for blended learning in junior high school social studies. The ADDIE development method was used, with qualitative and quantitative data sources. Qualitative data were obtained from interviews and observations, while quantitative data were obtained from the distribution of scores and the validity and reliability tests of the instrument. The results of the study indicate that the developed assessment instrument has gone through a series of feasibility tests, thus undergoing changes and refinements in the process until an attitude assessment instrument is ready for implementation. Ultimately, the attitude assessment instrument has met the criteria for validity and reliability. Reliability calculations also show that the developed instrument has a high level of reliability with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.964 for attitude assessment in offline learning and 0.953 for attitude assessment in online learning. In addition, in its implementation, the attitude assessment instrument for blended learning is included in the practical category.
