Abstract

Purpose: Awareness of bullying’s negative impacts has grown significantly. Many studies highlight its physical, emotional, and psychological effects on both victims and perpetrators. Method: The methods used in this community service are observation, interview, and socialization in Public Primary School 06 Tanjung Batu. Practical Application: The psychoeducation program effectively helped students understand the importance of respecting differences, showing empathy, and maintaining positive social relationships. Conclusion: Psychoeducation for grade 6 students at SDN 06 Tanjung Batu improved understanding of bullying from both the victim’s and perpetrator’s perspectives. Using materials, animated videos, ice breaking, discussions, and quizzes, students recognized types of bullying, its impacts, and ways to respond positively. The program promoted empathy, respect, and social harmony, contributing to a safer school environment.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to introduce and educate the Filipino people about the Indonesian halal industry. Method: Educational programs are carried out through seminars, workshops and consultation sessions. The seminar provides theoretical knowledge about the concept and importance of halal products. Practical Applications:Filipinos will have a better understanding of halal products and their importance, so they can make more informed choices. Entrepreneurs in the Philippines will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to develop products that meet international halal standards. Increasing cooperation between Indonesia and the Philippines in the halal industry, strengthening bilateral and economic relations between the two countries. Conclusion:This educational program succeeded in increasing awareness and knowledge about the Indonesian halal industry among the Filipino people. This program provides practical guidance for entrepreneurs in developing halal products, contributes to the growth of the halal market in the Philippines, and strengthens bilateral relations between Indonesia and the Philippines

Abstract

Purpose: This research explores coffee production strategies at Jember Kahyangan Plantation Regional Public Company, focusing on optimizing productivity, efficiency, and sustainability. Method: A qualitative approach was used through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that Perumda Perkebunan Kahyangan Jember produces robusta coffee with meticulous processing to ensure quality. Practical Application: Coffee is one of the agricultural commodities that is quite tempting to develop, seeing the market potential reaching overseas so that in its development, coffee is experiencing modernization. Coffee production in Indonesia always increases every year. Indonesia is the world's fourth exporter of coffee commodities with an average role of 4.76 percent of total world exports. The Jember Kahyangan Plantation Regional Public Company is one of the companies engaged in processing coffee production. Conclusion: A production strategy is a detailed plan designed to organize and manage a company's production processes to achieve predetermined goals, including efficiency, product quality and customer satisfaction. The definition above shows that a company needs a strategy so that the company does not go bankrupt.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service aims to introduce and disseminate the portable water treatment that can be used for people living in the coastal area specifically in the Meuraxa District, Banda Aceh. Method: The implementation method of the Community Service Program activities uses descriptive analysis methods, demonstrations, and direct practice by group partners and community members. For the operation of the water treatment unit installation, community group partners will emphasize the demonstration method based on operational control by prioritizing operator safety. Practical Application: This integrated clean water treatment plant can desalinate water and separate organic and inorganic solid particles. This clean water treatment system is portable and has a working capacity of around ± 1000 liters. This installation is equipped with a sorting system and an automatic transfer system on the piping and pumping. This installation is needed to accelerate the process of cleaning and purifying water from brackish water to fresh water that is suitable for use and consumption. Conclusion: This product-based community service has produced a product in the form of a portable water treatment installation for filtering and cleaning water from pollutants, contaminants and/or impurities. Hence, this technology would help people living in the coastal area provide fresh water and clean water for their lives.

Abstract

Purpose: The Dr. Soetomo University Lecturer and Employee Cooperative supports member welfare through goods and services but faces challenges in inventory due to manual records prone to errors. To address this, a community service team introduced an Inventory Information System to automate stock tracking and improve efficiency. Method: Activities included assessing equipment and data needs, digitizing manual records, presenting the system, and conducting initial training for cooperative staff. Practical Application: The program aimed to introduce the system, solve data recording issues, and improve staff competency in system operation. Conclusion: The initiative was well-received, with management committing to appoint two new system operators. Key features and the implementation plan were appreciated. However, adjustments to the item master data are still needed for optimal integration.

Abstract

Purpose: The service aims to highlight how various marketing strategies such as social media, food festivals and various local cultural bases can contribute. In the economic growth of the culinary sector according to the increase in the attractiveness of tourist destinations Method: This service uses an approach using direct observation to observe the social and economic conditions of the community and the dissemination of questionnaires to collect data on the needs and aspirations of residents. The results of the analysis are used to design the right solution for the target community. Practical Application: The results of this service can be a reference for local governments, business actors and local communities in designing more effective promotional strategies to increase the attractiveness of culinary tourism destinations. This growth is also beneficial for culinary micro business owners in optimizing the marketing of their products through social media and experience-based promotional activities such as Culinary Festivals and collaborations with influencers. Conclusion: Promotion strategies through social media and culinary festivals strengthen the image of the destination, increase tourist visits, and support the income of culinary micro businesses. Collaboration between the government, business actors, and local communities is needed to create sustainable marketing to develop culinary tourism in Wanayasa, Purwakarta.

Abstract

Purpose: This study focuses on the role of product quality media and quality management in the development of businesses of residents of RW 08, Meruta Selatan Village, for the sake of business sustainability and environmental sustainability. Method: This research uses a community service approach to achieve its objectives. This activity includes training sessions with theory, examples, discussion forums, and mentoring to improve product quality and quality management. Practical Application: The results of this study are useful for residents of RW 08 Meruya Selatan in developing product quality and quality management. Conclusion: This study has an important thing in providing training to residents of RW 08 Meruya Selatan which can improve product quality and quality management. This has practical implications for increasing product volume which has an impact on improving the welfare of residents.

Abstract

Purpose: This project explores the potential of a homemade bouquet business that offers long-lasting, sustainable gift options. Targeting students and young professionals, it provides an alternative to traditional flowers that wilt quickly, promoting creativity and eco-friendly gifting. Method: The bouquets are made from non-perishable materials, such as artificial flowers and fabric, to ensure longevity. A segmentation, targeting, positioning, pricing, and promotional strategy is used to reach the target market. Promotion is carried out primarily on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, with personal selling techniques for local engagement. Practical Application: This project fosters local entrepreneurship, supports young people in developing business skills, and encourages sustainable gifting practices. It also creates local employment and drives innovation in product design and marketing. Conclusion: The project meets the target market's needs by offering creative, affordable bouquets. Through online marketing and personalized selling, it promotes sustainability and entrepreneurship, contributing to both economic and social development.

Abstract

Purpose: This program aimed to enhance farmers' knowledge of coconut husk waste management by transforming it into cocopeat, an eco-friendly planting medium. The initiative sought to promote sustainable agriculture and provide economic benefits for the community. Method: A participatory approach was used, involving community engagement through observation, socialization, training, and hands-on practice. The process included theoretical discussions, practical demonstrations, and knowledge assessments through pre- and post-tests. Practical Applications: Farmers learned to convert coconut husks into cocopeat using simple tools. The training increased awareness of waste management and provided an alternative planting medium with high water retention and nutrient content, benefiting agricultural productivity. Conclusion: The program successfully increased participants’ knowledge by 57%, demonstrating the effectiveness of agricultural extension in improving local resource utilization. Future efforts should focus on continued training and mentorship to ensure sustainable implementation and long-term benefits.

Abstract

Purpose: This community engagement program aimed to introduce beginner researchers to MAXQDA, a qualitative data analysis software, to enhance their understanding and application of qualitative research methods. The initiative sought to address the low interest in qualitative research by providing practical tools and training that simplify data interpretation and improve academic writing. Method: The program was conducted through face-to-face sessions, including theoretical instruction and hands-on practice. Participants learned to install and operate MAXQDA, analyze interview data, and visualize findings using features such as word clouds and code matrices. Practical Applications: The training enabled participants to conduct qualitative research more effectively, improving their ability to manage complex data and present results clearly. It also fostered greater interest in qualitative inquiry and encouraged the use of digital tools in academic research. Conclusion: MAXQDA proved to be a valuable tool for beginner researchers, enhancing their analytical skills and confidence in qualitative research. The program contributed to the development of methodological competence and improved the quality of academic writing.
