Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pola asuh yang diterapkan di Taman Pengasuhan Anak (TPA) Ar-Rahmah Nurul Jadid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pola asuh yang efektif dalam mendukung perkembangan karakter dan emosional anak. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan pengasuh dan orang tua, serta observasi langsung di TPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh yang positif, berbasis nilai-nilai agama, dan melibatkan orang tua secara aktif berkontribusi besar terhadap perkembangan anak. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pengasuh dan orang tua dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pertumbuhan anak.

Abstract

Education at the elementary school level plays a crucial role in building the foundation of knowledge and essential skills for individuals. One of the subjects that holds a fundamental role in developing logical and systematic thinking is mathematics. A solid understanding of mathematical concepts is essential for students to optimally develop their academic abilities and cognitive skills. This study employed a Classroom Action Research design by implementing the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) learning approach, which aims to examine students’ activeness and understanding in the mathematics topic of data collection and presentation. The results indicated a significant improvement in both students’ engagement and learning outcomes. Based on observational data, students’ activeness increased from 34.97 in the pre-cycle to 58.33 in the first cycle, and eventually reached 82.14 in the second cycle. This illustrates that students became more actively involved in the learning process as instruction became more aligned with their individual needs. A similar pattern was observed in students’ learning test scores, which increased from 50.71 in the pre-cycle to 64.64 in the first cycle, and further improved to 80.35 in the second cycle. The study concludes that the gradual implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach significantly enhances both student engagement and learning outcomes, as evidenced by the overall research findings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran strategis manajemen sumber daya manusia (MSDM) di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi di lingkungan sekolah Islam. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi lima komponen utama implementasi MSDM: rekrutmen, pengembangan profesional, evaluasi kinerja, strategi motivasi, dan integrasi nilai-nilai Islam. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MSDM dalam pendidikan Islam tidak hanya difokuskan pada efektivitas administratif tetapi juga berorientasi pada pengembangan spiritual dan moral. Guru dipilih berdasarkan kompetensi dan komitmen agama, dan pengembangan berkelanjutan diberikan melalui pelatihan pedagogis dan bimbingan spiritual. Evaluasi kinerja tidak hanya menekankan kualitas pengajaran tetapi juga disiplin dan partisipasi agama. Motivasi dipupuk melalui insentif material dan penghargaan non-material yang berakar pada nilai-nilai Islam. Integrasi komponen-komponen ini berkontribusi pada budaya organisasi yang kuat berdasarkan ketulusan, kepercayaan, dan kerja sama. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa MSDM di lembaga pendidikan Islam berfungsi sebagai sistem komprehensif yang membentuk karakter profesional, moral, dan spiritual. Oleh karena itu, penguatan MSDM sangat penting untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan holistik yang sejalan dengan nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) pada siswa kelas V SDN Pisangan Baru 01 berdasarkan gaya belajar visual, auditori, dan kinestetik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif pada 69 siswa yang dipilih secara purposive karena mewakili ketiga gaya belajar tersebut. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terbuka, observasi kelas, dan wawancara mendalam dengan guru, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan gaya belajar visual dan auditori umumnya dapat memahami serta menerapkan konsep IPA dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, sedangkan siswa kinestetik mengalami kesulitan memahami konsep tanpa praktik langsung. Seluruh kelompok siswa, terlepas dari gaya belajarnya, cenderung mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal penalaran tinggi (Higher Order Thinking Skills/HOTS). Simpulan utama penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya integrasi aktivitas hands-on untuk siswa kinestetik, media visual untuk siswa visual, penjelasan lisan terstruktur untuk siswa auditori, serta latihan soal HOTS secara bertahap. Implikasi penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi guru dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang responsif terhadap gaya belajar dan tingkat penalaran siswa di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to ascertain the impact of managing play activities on the social interaction skills of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Cinta Bangsa, East Pemenang Village, Pemenang District, North Lombok Regency. The research method employed is a Quantitative Quasi-Experimental Design, specifically a "pre-test and post-test with non-equivalent control group design." The population comprised 48 children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Cinta Bangsa. Nonprobability sampling technique with census sampling was employed, encompassing the total population of 48 children. Data collection techniques involved the administration of tests and non-participant observation. Data analysis techniques employed descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests of normality and homogeneity, independent paired sample t-test, independent t-test n-gain score. The results of the hypothesis testing, with a significance level of 5% (0.05), yielded a two-sided test value/two-tailed test value < 0.001 < 0.05. This finding indicates that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, thereby concluding that there is a significant influence between the management of play activities and children's social interaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep Keluarga Berencana (KB) dalam perspektif hadits tentang memperbanyak keturunan. Pandangan masyarakat Islam terhadap KB yang dianggap bertentangan dengan ajaran agama yang menganut persepsi bahwa melaksanakan KB menunjukan keraguan terhadap rezeki Allah. Hal Ini menimbulkan dilema bagi masyarakat yang mayoritas beragama Islam dalam menerima program KB yang bertujuan mengatur kelahiran untuk kesejahteraan keluarga. Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya pemahaman yang mendalam dan integratif antara prinsip-prinsip agama dan tujuan program KB. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik studi pustaka, yang melibatkan pengumpulan dan analisis dokumen-dokumen yang relevan seperti buku, jurnal, dan artikel ilmiah.Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Teknik ini melibatkan pengumpulan, verifikasi, dan penyajian data yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep Keluarga Berencana (KB) dalam perspektif Islam memiliki dasar yang kuat dalam ajaran agama dan pandangan ulama. KB bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan ibu, anak, dan keluarga melalui perencanaan dan pengaturan kelahiran. Islam mengizinkan pengaturan kelahiran melalui konsep "tanzhim an-nasl," yang memastikan kesehatan dan kesejahteraan keluarga tanpa melanggar prinsip syariah. Hadis-hadis Nabi Muhammad SAW yang membahas coitus interruptus menunjukkan bahwa pengaturan kelahiran diperbolehkan dengan pemahaman bahwa segala sesuatu terjadi atas kehendak Allah SWT. Hal ini menunjukkan keseimbangan antara anjuran memperbanyak keturunan dan kebutuhan praktis untuk memastikan kesehatan, pendidikan, dan kesejahteraan keluarga. Kesimpulannya, Islam mengajarkan pentingnya memiliki keturunan yang banyak tetapi juga memberikan ruang untuk pengaturan kelahiran demi tercapainya keluarga yang sejahtera dan masyarakat yang stabil. Prinsip-prinsip ini bertujuan menciptakan masyarakat kuat, stabil, dan sejahtera, di mana setiap anggota keluarga dapat berperan dalam pembangunan sosial dan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan

Abstract

This study analyzes the correlation between variations in air temperature, dew point, and air pressure on aircraft lift force while considering wind components at Kualanamu International Airport using a quantitative descriptive-correlational approach based on observational METAR and SPECI data throughout 2024. The analyzed parameters included air temperature (°C), dew point (°C), air pressure (hPa), wind direction (°), and wind speed (knot), with lift force calculated based on Boeing 737-800 specifications. The results show that air temperature has a consistent positive correlation with lift force throughout the year (r = 0.35-0.6) with the highest value in April (r = 0.603) and the strongest correlation in the temperature range of 28-33°C, dew point shows variable correlation patterns between months (r = -0.301 to 0.603), while air pressure shows consistent negative correlation (r = -0.1 to -0.47) with the strongest correlation in July (r = -0.472) in the pressure range of 1003-1010 mb. The research concludes that air temperature is the most influential meteorological parameter on aircraft lift force with stable positive correlation, while wind components (headwind/tailwind) have relatively small effects on lift force for large commercial aircraft.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) instructional model in enhancing high school students’ critical thinking skills (CTS) on the topic of sound waves. A quantitative approach was employed, specifically a quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest comparison-group arrangement. Participants consisted of two groups selected through purposive sampling: an experimental group with 35 students and a comparison group with 30 students. The primary assessment instrument was a set of essay questions constructed based on the critical thinking criteria proposed by Ennis. The analysis revealed a substantial improvement in students’ CTS within the experimental class following the implementation of the CPS model. A significant difference between the experimental and comparison groups was confirmed using the Mann–Whitney U test, yielding a p-value < 0.001. The effect size of 6.610, as measured by Cohen’s d, is considered large. Consequently, the CPS approach effectively enhanced students’ CTS, particularly in the context of physics learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve student learning engagement in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for fourth-grade students at SDN 30 Mataram through the use of educational puzzle media. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of two cycles, each including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 23 fourth-grade students, with data collected through learning engagement observation sheets, documentation, and field notes. The analysis results showed a significant increase in learning engagement, from an average of 61% in Cycle I to 87% in Cycle II. This improvement was evident in indicators such as participation in discussions, willingness to ask questions, ability to answer, and active involvement in completing puzzles with enthusiasm. Educational puzzle media, which combines elements of play and learning, proved effective in creating a fun and interactive learning environment, thereby encouraging students to engage more actively in the IPAS learning process. Thus, this media can be considered an innovative alternative for enhancing student motivation and learning engagement in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the reading ability of first-grade students at SDN 24 Ampenan through the use of the syllabic method. The teacher’s role is crucial in enhancing students’ reading skills, especially in Grade 1, as these skills are essential for supporting learning activities in the classroom. One of the efforts undertaken is the use of an appropriate method to teach reading effectively. The syllabic method is applied as an approach to strengthening the reading abilities of first-grade students at SDN 24 Ampenan. This method has proven to be highly effective in guiding students to learn to read, as it helps them construct syllables more easily and supports their ability to form words. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The implementation of the syllabic method successfully improved the reading ability of first-grade students at SDN 24 Ampenan, proceeded smoothly, and resulted in satisfactory outcomes.
