Abstract

Learning from home is a step taken in dealing with conditions that occur due to Corona Virus 19. One of the methods applied is to form study groups with varying frequency of teacher visits. This of course requires energy and time so that learning is more effective and efficient. Lack of mentoring by the teacher causes students to spend time playing. Through real work lectures, students of the Elementary School Teacher Education study program developed an innovative learning media, namely a counting tree to increase the learning activities of grade 1 elementary school students. This solution is taken so that students can fill their learning time while playing. The expected results after this service activity, teachers and parents can use learning media to guide students at home, and enable teachers to innovate in developing learning media.

Abstract

The pandemic of covid 19 had big effects in educational field. The transition of learning process from face to face into online had many obstacles. Teachers, students and parents had their own problems to face it. Parents had to provide facilities to their child during online learning process but their economic factors were inadequate, such as buying android phone or data package. There were parents and teachers were not able to use the technology effectively and efficiently. It can be effect to the students. Students will left behind the materials and the assignments had given by their teachers. Door to door was an approach offered to avoid or to minimize that problems. The aim of that approach was teachers could share the materials, the assignment and guiding their students directly. Learning guidance could be the materials which were not understood and teaching them how to use android phone to access the materials shared through online learning. In order that, door to door approach which had implemented besides helped students to understand more the materials but also the students got learning guidance effectively about the way to utilize the learning technology. It was about the materials were shared online. In this case, teacher should actively guiding their students to use the technology in better way. Furthermore, the teacher will adding new knowledge, so they do not seems out of touch of information and blinded technology.

Abstract

Community service through the Independent Community Service Program with the theme "Application of Organic Kale Plant Hydroponics" has been carried out. The series of activities carried out were exploring problems, training in making fertilizers or nutrients for hydroponic plants, hydroponic seeding of kale seeds and planting water spinach seeds hydroponically as well as applying organic fertilizers. The parties involved in this activity are students, village officials and the community in Lokoboko Village. The results obtained from this activity were examples of hydroponic vegetable cultivation with an organic system and high enthusiasm from all parties involved to implement it. From these results, it is suggested that this hydroponic method can be applied in the yards of the Lokoboko village community.

Abstract

The general theme of the 2020 Community Service Program is “Community Empowerment”. Meanwhile, the special theme is "Entrepreneurship". The implementation time starts from August 3 to September 3, 2020, in Onekore Village, Ende Tengah District, Ende Regency. On the program. With this special theme, the main activity carried out is supporting entrepreneurship in Onekore Village. The purpose of implementing this activity is that students are expected to gain learning experience through direct involvement in the community in finding, formulating, solving, and overcoming problems in the field. In this KKN activity, the problems found were the lack of utilization of existing garden products, namely bananas. So far, it is consumed by boiling or eating it without further processing. Olso besides, we also found woven products from weaving that were difficult to market. Students socialize and practice entrepreneurship as an effort to solve problems faced by weaving craftsmen. Efforts made to help the household economy include making flower pots and making wallets made from woven fabrics. Supporting activities during the Community Service Program are assisting with the administration of the Village, community service, building a gate for the Indonesian Independence Day, making sample gardens, socializing COVID-19 and, health service for the elderly.

Abstract

Learning problems are often the reason teachers do not provide material in class optimally. Like condition COVID 19 at this time, apart from that, for various reasons, such as the teacher having a meeting, the city office is an obstacle for teachers to deliver material at school, even students roaming around and fighting in class. An effective and efficient learning media is needed for teachers to continue delivering material even under any circumstances. Learning using Google Classroom, one way to face the challenges of the technology world in education through learning media. Besides that, the making of instructional videos will increase the creativity of teachers to make interesting and interactive teaching materials. This workshop was attended by 21 teachers from SMP N 35 Pekanbaru. After going through the pre-test and post-test, there was an increase in the knowledge and skills of teachers in managing classes on Google Classroom and learning videos. This workshop can be a provision for teaching and learning activities at school and outside of school.

Abstract

SMK N 6 Pekanbaru is one of the vocational schools located in remote areas of Pekanbaru City. In this school there is a Software Engineering (RPL) major that has XII grade students, more than 30 people. The service carried out at this school aims to equip students with technical knowledge of building mobile based application programs. The theme of this service does not overlap with the learning material they get at school. The number of participants is limited to 19 people. The location of the service was carried out at the computer laboratory of SMK N 6 Pekanbaru. The executor of this community service consists of 4 lecturers from STMIK Amik Riau who are accompanied by 2 senior students. The duration of implementation is 2 days. After the implementation of the community service activities, students are expected to have an understanding of the technical aspects of building mobile applications to be able to make applications simply.

Abstract

The covid 19 pandemic outbreak continues to occur in various parts of the world including our country so that we immediately conduct a period of adaptation of new habits on all fronts, including the field of PAUD education, so that learning is all done at home. Learning From Home is carried out by parents, but curriculum, planning and assessment are still provided from the school. The purpose of the training is to know the steps that are used as guidelines in Learning From Home for teachers in the event of a pandemic, provide enlightenment and how to apply this method of devotion participatory approach with oriented teacher participation. The first step of the research is to analyze the situation, identification, objectives, problem solving plan, approach, implementation of training and evaluation. As a result of E-Learning From Home, teachers get new insights and enlightenment, teacher skills increase, media in demand in the form of quota-efficient applications, easy to use, accessible on mobile phones, and do not require a large memory.  This devotion will be followed up with the dedication of simple animation making in defense for early childhood

Abstract

Destructive fishing has the potential to reduce the sustainability of marine resources and the productivity of marine products which will have an impact on the welfare of fishermen. Various motives for destructive fishing include economic, social, cultural motives, and even ignorance that this action is against the law. Politeknik Kelautan dan Perikanan Sorong carries out community service as an effort to provide understanding regarding environmentally friendly fisheries through lectures and the practice of making environmentally friendly fishing gear. The activity lasted for 2 days, attended by 20 fishermen target partners of Saoka Village. The results of the practice in the form of environmentally friendly fishing gear are handed over to target partners for use in fishing operations.

Abstract

SD YPK Sota, located in the village of Sota, on the RI-PNG border, has long ended its accreditation period. The last accreditation was in 2012 with a C rating. In fact, the eight components of the national education standard have been implemented by partner schools but the documents and activity reports are not well-administered. The results of interviews with partner school principals obtained the same problem, namely the low value of each SNP component referring to the accreditation instrument. Training programs and assistance for the preparation of accreditation forms by the community service team are the solutions offered to help partner school problems. The stages of this community service program include: 1) the training stage, 2) the assistance stage for the preparation of accreditation forms, 3) the assistance stage for the fulfillment of accreditation physical documents, 4) the evaluation stage. The training in the form of providing material on the role of accreditation for the fulfillment of SNP, accreditation tools and accreditation assessment instruments was able to provide understanding to the form drafting team about the importance of school accreditation as a form of school / madrasah accountability to the public and an understanding of the procedures for drafting forms referring to Permendikbud No. 2. In 2017, the focus of the form preparation team is to fulfill every element of the assessment in the assessment instrument. Training in the fulfillment of physical documents and supporting documents provides understanding and skills to the form drafting team in preparing physical documents and supporting documents in accordance with the technical instructions and fulfillment lists that have been made previously. Training through tutorials on how to fill in accreditation forms online provides understanding and skills to the form drafting team on how to use the Sispena-S/M application (School/Madrasah Accreditation Assessment System).

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic can threaten human lives and can spread massively if there are no comprehensive preventive measures in all countries including Indonesia. Various efforts are known to be made to prevent the spread of COVID, including the use of hand sanitizers, which are antiseptic fluids capable of killing viruses, bacteria, and fungi found in the air, tools, and the human body, including hands. . The method of activities carried out in this community service is counseling using the lecture method using power point slide media which contains an explanation of the importance of a hand sanitizer and demonstrating directly with a hand swab from a community before and after using a handsanitizer and then scratching it on PDA media (Potato Dextrose Agar). The conclusion of this community service is that the community understands the importance of using a handsanitizer before carrying out activities because they see directly the growing bacteria.
