Abstract

This study aims to analyze the constitutional responsibility for food sovereignty and self-reliance as regulated in Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation. The type of research used is normative research with a statute approach and conceptual approach. Based on the results of the research, it shows that the enactment of Law No. 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation, especially in terms of food, has implications for the goals of food sovereignty and self-reliance in Indonesia, which were previously stipulated in Law No. 18 of 2012 concerning Food. It is feared that this will affect the decline in farmers' welfare levels due to the absence of restrictions on food imports. The position of food imports parallel to domestic production and national food reserves no longer reflects the essence of food sovereignty. In this problem, the constitutional responsibility related to food sovereignty is to review Law No. 6 of 2023 on Job Creation to ensure the achievement of public welfare.

Abstract

dilution carried out by unscrupulous sellers of a product or brand on an e-commerce platform by utilizing a foreign brand that is already well-known is a form of violation of intellectual property rights by utilizing a well-known foreign brand to increase profits from product sales that are carried out by brand dilution other than that. This is a form of fraud or lying to consumers so that consumers think as if the product they are purchasing is a brand or part of a foreign brand that has undergone brand dilution. The legal research method used in this research is normative juridical research which is research carried out or aimed only at written regulations with the nature of descriptive analysis research which is a method that functions to describe or provide an overview of the object being studied. The data source used is secondary data with quantitative data analysis. The results of this research are that the legal status of well-known foreign brands in Indonesia is recognized as brands that were previously registered and have legal standing, which in the Trademark Law has priority rights to register brands in Indonesia. Indonesia's legal policy regarding the dilution of foreign brands traded on e-commerce has not been specifically regulated in the Trademark Law, but in order to protect well-known foreign brands from brand dilution, Indonesia can use International Intellectual Property Legal Instruments through the Paris Convention, Madrid Protocol

Abstract

This study investigates the roles of financial literacy, risk perception, and investment experience in shaping investment decisions. Utilizing a sample of 500 individuals, we conducted descriptive statistics, reliability and validity testing, structural equation modeling (SEM), and moderation analysis to explore these relationships. The results reveal that higher financial literacy and investment experience are positively associated with better investment decisions, while higher risk perception is negatively associated with investment outcomes. Furthermore, financial literacy moderates the effect of risk perception, and investment experience enhances the positive impact of financial literacy on investment decisions. These findings underscore the importance of financial education and practical experience in fostering informed and strategic investment behavior. The study offers valuable insights for developing targeted educational programs and advisory services to enhance investor competence and confidence.

Abstract

An individual company is obliged to modify its legal status to a Capital Partnership Company if it is considered as no longer applies for Micro and Small Enterprises (UMK) / MSEs criteria. However, there are no provisions regarding the consequences if it is not made. It leads to unclear legal entity status and the responsibilities of individual companies which do not meet the standards of the Micro and Small Enterprises (UMK). This study aims to (1) analyze Individual Companies legal entity status which does not apply the UMK standards, and (2) analyze the legal implications of Individual Companies which no longer meet the UMK criteria. This study used normative juridical research method with a statutory approach and analysis of legal concepts. The results show that individual legal entity status of companies which do not meet the UMK criteria has not been rigidly regulated in the Job Creation Law or its regulations. However, individual companies which do not meet the UMK criteria are considered as no longer meet the legal entity requirements which are regulated in the Job Creation Law. Therefore, de jure, Individual Company legal entity status is no longer a legal entity, but de facto it is still registered as a legal entity. In addition, the legal implication is considered as the loss of the limited liability of the Individual Company.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legality of interfaith marriage in Indonesia, including legal review, implementation management, and psychological impact on the family. The research method used is library research with a qualitative research approach. The study results show that policy recommendations must include changes to marriage laws, increasing public awareness, and education about the importance of tolerance and inclusivity in a multicultural society like Indonesia. The convoluted recording process and the inconsistency between state law and religious law are the main challenges that must be overcome. The implementation of the legality of interfaith marriage in Indonesia is still experiencing bureaucratic rigidity and a lack of coordination between related institutions. This creates administrative barriers that often prevent interfaith couples from obtaining official recognition of their marriage.  Couples of different religions and their families experience significant psychological impacts, including social stigma, identity conflicts, psychological distress, and difficulties in educating children. This indicates the need for greater psychological and social support for interfaith couples
