Abstract

Microfinance is an important solution to overcome economic problems in rural areas. Microfinance offers small loans to individuals or groups that do not have access to conventional financial services. This study aims to analyze the application of mudharabah contracts in Sharia microfinance in rural areas. The research method used is library research with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that the mudharabah contract provides access to capital to rural communities who often experience limitations in obtaining financing from conventional financial institutions. With capital support and profit-sharing principles, micro enterprises in rural areas can develop, create jobs, and increase people's incomes. The implementation of mudharabah contracts in sharia microfinance in rural areas has great potential to encourage local economic growth and improve community welfare. By addressing existing challenges through the right strategies, the program can be successful and sustainable, providing significant benefits to rural communities by sharia principles. Support from various parties, including the government, Islamic financial institutions, and the public, is urgently needed to achieve this goal.

Abstract

With the significant growth of the Muslim population in various countries, there is a need to increase awareness and understanding of Islamic financial principles, such as the prohibition of usury and the principle of profit sharing. This study aims to analyze how to introduce the concept of sharia economic transactions through children's financial literacy education. The research method used is library research with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that the implications of sharia economic transactions for society are very broad and positive. By emphasizing justice, transparency, and social responsibility, sharia economic transactions help create a fairer and more prosperous society. Programs such as zakat distribution, microfinancing, and investment in social infrastructure and education contribute to poverty alleviation, economic empowerment, and improving people's quality of life. Financial literacy education for children and adolescents is not only important for their current personal lives, but also for the preparation of a more stable and financially successful future. Continuous training and education on financial literacy integrated with sharia economic values and principles helps strengthen individuals' understanding and practice in adhering to these principles throughout their lives. By using financial literacy as a way to introduce sharia economic transactions, individuals can build a deep understanding of how they can manage their finances in a way that is in accordance with Islamic moral and ethical principles.

Abstract

The study discusses the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in Islamic education, with a focus on emerging ethical opportunities and challenges. AI offers a variety of opportunities in enriching the learning experience, such as adaptive learning, personalized education, and access to science globally. However, the application of AI also raises a number of ethical questions related to privacy, dependence on technology, and the potential for algorithmic bias that can affect Islamic values. This research uses a qualitative approach, by reviewing related literature and case studies of AI implementation in Islamic educational institutions. The findings suggest that while AI can improve the effectiveness of education, a strong ethical framework is needed for its application to be in line with the principles of Islamic teachings. Thus, this research offers an important perspective for policymakers, educators, and technology developers in integrating AI responsibly in the Islamic education environment.

Abstract

Dalam konteks ekonomi syariah, pengelolaan keuangan keluarga memiliki beberapa prinsip dasar yang berbeda dengan sistem ekonomi konvensional. Ekonomi syariah berlandaskan pada nilai-nilai Islam yang mengedepankan keadilan, keseimbangan, dan kemaslahatan bersama. Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian ini ialah memberikan edukasi tentang pengelolaan keuangan keluarga berbasis ekonomi syariah pada masyarakat Buahbatu Kota bandung. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan ialah dengan survey dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan, program edukasi dan pelatihan telah berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai prinsip-prinsip dasar ekonomi syariah. Banyak keluarga kini lebih memahami pentingnya menghindari riba, memilih produk keuangan halal, dan melaksanakan kewajiban zakat. Terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam penggunaan produk keuangan syariah, seperti tabungan, investasi, dan asuransi syariah. Keluarga yang sebelumnya menggunakan produk konvensional beralih ke produk-produk yang sesuai dengan prinsip syariah, menunjukkan kepercayaan yang meningkat terhadap sistem keuangan syariah. Keluarga mulai menerapkan perencanaan keuangan yang lebih baik dan terstruktur, mencakup pengelolaan anggaran, tabungan, dan investasi yang sesuai dengan prinsip syariah. Ini membantu mereka mencapai stabilitas keuangan dan kesejahteraan jangka panjang

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar guru-guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) melalui workshop metode pembelajaran aktif. Metode pembelajaran aktif dipilih karena mampu meningkatkan partisipasi dan pemahaman siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar. Kegiatan ini melibatkan sejumlah guru PAI dari berbagai sekolah di wilayah [nama wilayah]. Melalui workshop ini, para guru diberikan pelatihan intensif mengenai berbagai teknik dan strategi pembelajaran aktif yang dapat diterapkan dalam kelas. Hasil dari kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan guru untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan metode pembelajaran aktif. Diharapkan, peningkatan keterampilan ini akan berdampak positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran PAI dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of Islamic education in facing the challenges of radicalism and extremism among the younger generation. Using a qualitative approach, this study analyzes various strategies implemented by Islamic educational institutions to form a moderate and inclusive religious understanding. The data was obtained through in-depth interviews with educators, scholars, and students in several Islamic schools and Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. The results of the study show that Islamic education that emphasizes the values of tolerance, social justice, and openness to diversity can play a significant role in preventing radicalization among adolescents. In addition, the active involvement of parents and the community in religious education was also found to be an important factor in shaping the character of the young generation who are resilient to the influence of radical ideology. This study concludes that holistic and contextual Islamic education is indispensable to face the increasingly complex challenges of radicalism and extremism in the modern era.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of Pop Up Book media in enhancing the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Cicayur 02 Bandung, highlighting the necessity for innovative teaching methods that can boost student engagement and comprehension. Conducted from February 22 to March 8, 2024, the research employed a quantitative experimental model, comparing a class using Pop Up Books with a control class relying solely on textbooks and lectures. The t-test analysis revealed a significance value of 0.041, indicating a substantial difference between pretest and posttest results, with average student scores rising from 66.75 to 82.25, reflecting a 15.5% increase. Student response surveys revealed a high level of enthusiasm, averaging 90.75%. These findings underscore that Pop Up Book media is not only effective in improving learning outcomes but also enhances student motivation and involvement in the learning process.

Abstract

This study examines student activity, responses to visual aids, and science learning outcomes concerning heat transfer in fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Bojongkacor, Bandung Regency, utilizing a thermoscope as a visual aid. This topic is significant as active engagement and positive responses to visual aids can enhance conceptual understanding and learning outcomes. The research employs a quantitative methodology involving experimental and control groups, with data collected through student activity observation, response questionnaires, and learning tests (pretest and posttest). Observations revealed that 76.90% of students actively engaged with the visual aid, surpassing the minimum criterion of 75%. Students' responses to the thermoscope were highly positive, with a percentage of 91%. The experimental group exhibited a posttest average score of 78.17, significantly higher than the control group's average of 68.19. Hypothesis testing using a t-test indicated a significance level of 0.038, suggesting that the use of the thermoscope significantly enhances student learning outcomes compared to conventional methods. This study underscores the critical role of visual aids in improving science education effectiveness.

Abstract

This study concentrates on implementing the traditional Engkle game method to enhance learning motivation among second-grade students at SDN Bojong Kacor 3 Bandung, aiming to leverage game elements in mathematics instruction on the topic of length units. The choice of this topic is justified by the potential of game-based methods to serve as an effective strategy for increasing student engagement and motivation, particularly in mathematics, which is often perceived as monotonous by children. The research employs a qualitative classroom action research model, involving the preparation of teaching tools and materials, and the planning of activities across two cycles, which includes group arrangements and modifications to task execution methods. The findings indicate improvements in student motivation across all indicators: control and autonomy (81%), engagement (89%), task persistence (80%), and learning satisfaction (87%). This research underscores the efficacy of the Engkle game method in bolstering student motivation and involvement in mathematics education.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk karakter dan spiritualitas individu, terutama pada tingkat sekolah dasar kelas rendah. Meningkatkan keterampilan membaca dan menulis Al-Quran siswa sekolah dasar kelas rendah sangat penting untuk memperkuat landasan agama mereka sejak dini. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi berbagai strategi yang telah diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis Al-Quran siswa kelas rendah. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode tinjauan pustaka, studi ini menganalisis beberapa sumber relevan, termasuk jurnal, buku, dan laporan penelitian. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang strategi efektif yang dapat digunakan pendidik untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca dan menulis Al-Quran siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menawarkan panduan praktis bagi pendidik dalam merancang program pendidikan yang berfokus pada pengembangan kemampuan membaca dan menulis Al-Quran pada siswa sekolah dasar kelas rendah
