Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the application of Tri Hita Kirana (THK) values on psychological well-being and employee performance. Based on the results of the analysis using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method, it was found that the application of THK had a significant influence on both variables. The R Square test results show that the independent variables in the model are able to explain 62.3% of the variation in psychological well-being and 48.7% of the variation in employee performance. The influence of THK on psychological well-being is indicated by a path coefficient value of 0.789 and on employee performance of 0.698, both with significant T-Statistics values (greater than 1.96) and a very low P-value (0.000). In addition, the F Square analysis revealed that THK has a large influence on psychological well-being (f² = 1.653) and employee performance (f² = 0.951). From the PLS and Linear Model (LM) prediction results, the PLS model showed better prediction performance with lower RMSE and MAE values, as well as higher Q²_predict than the LM, indicating better predictive power in the PLS model. This finding confirms the importance of applying THK values in improving the quality of psychological well-being and employee performance in organizations, and shows that the PLS model is more effective in predicting the relationship between variables in this study.

Abstract

Early marriage in Sidrap Regency is still a worrying phenomenon. Despite various efforts to reduce the number of early marriages, cultural influences, social norms, and economic factors are still strong in encouraging marriage at a young age. This study aims to identify how sociocultural relations affect the practice of early marriage in Sidrap Regency. The method used is a qualitative approach with an exploratory descriptive method. The results of the study show that cultural factors, such as social norms and customs that prioritize marriage as a social obligation, as well as economic pressure, are the main drivers of early marriage. The impact is huge, ranging from the emotional immaturity of couples, the high divorce rate, to the negative impact on reproductive health. In addition, the perception of people who still consider early marriage as a solution to social problems such as pregnancy out of wedlock also worsens the situation. Therefore, preventive efforts involving various parties, such as counseling, increasing access to education, and family economic empowerment, are needed to overcome early marriage in Sidrap.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore the tension that exists between belief and conscious thinking. Life is often confronted with the rational and the irrational. Rational refers to conscious thinking (ratio), while irrational leads to belief (faith). Reason becomes a mediator to explain beliefs that are essentially difficult to understand by the ratio. Reason allows a dialog between belief and conscious thinking, so that it does not fall into lame understanding. Humans need to use their intellect to the fullest in order to arrive at an integral understanding of their beliefs. The method used in the research is qualitative method through literature study. This research found that the tension between belief and ratio is a natural thing, because the task of the ratio is to question or criticize so that humans do not fall into blind faith. Belief without ratio will actually lead to supertism, while reason without being based on faith will fall into nihilism and relativism. This research contributes to the harmonization of the two worlds of rational and irrational, as well as philosophical reflection as a way of finding holistic truth. Reason becomes the basic guideline in elaborating between belief and conscious thinking.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of using artificial intelligence (AI)-based applications on the learning effectiveness of students at ITEB Bina Adinata, particularly in five key aspects: the types and frequency of AI usage, effectiveness in understanding course material, time and energy efficiency, learning motivation and satisfaction, and the potential for negative AI usage. The research method employed is descriptive quantitative with a case study approach, using total sampling of 40 students from the Information Systems study program. The research instrument was a closed-ended questionnaire with a Likert scale, analyzed statistically through the calculation of means, percentages, and indicator categorization. The findings show that three main indicators fall into the high category AI usage frequency (79.6%), material comprehension effectiveness (79%), and learning efficiency (78.8%) while the other two fall into the moderate category: learning motivation and satisfaction (72.1%) and potential misuse of AI (60.8%). These results indicate that students generally have a positive perception of AI usage in supporting learning, although attention is still needed regarding internal motivation and ethical awareness. The implications of this study highlight the need for academic policies and learning strategies that promote adaptive, responsible, and balanced AI usage maximizing its benefits while fostering students’ academic character development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of information technology in driving digital transformation in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) sector, especially in the Bulukumba area. In the midst of the development of the digital economy, technology is a strategic factor to improve operational efficiency, expand market reach, and strengthen business competitiveness. However, the implementation of technology among UMKM is not optimal because it is still faced with various obstacles such as low digital literacy, limited devices, and lack of training. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with three main indicators, namely the use of information technology, digital transformation, and the performance and competitiveness of UMKM. Information technology is considered to help accelerate transactions, improve financial records, expand promotions, and encourage product innovation. Thus, the use of digital technology has proven effective in supporting the transformation of UMKM in a sustainable and competitive manner in the digital economy era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the spatial pattern of the distribution of public junior high schools (SMP) in Metro City as a basis for evaluating equitable access to education in urban areas. A quantitative approach was used with the Nearest Neighbor Analysis (NNA) method based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). School location data was obtained from the Education Office and field mapping results, then analyzed using ArcGIS 10.8 software to calculate the spatial distribution index (T). The results showed that the 10 public junior high schools in Metro City were spread across five subdistricts with an even distribution pattern (T value = 1.8). These schools were generally located around collector road networks and residential centers, indicating a strong correlation between the location of educational facilities and factors of accessibility and population density. These findings indicate that local government policies have taken into account the principle of spatial justice in the provision of educational services. GIS-based spatial analysis has proven to be effective in evaluating the equitable distribution of educational facilities and can be used as a basis for planning new schools in potentially developing suburban areas. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating spatial planning and educational policy to achieve sustainable access equity.
