Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find out the use of fun thinker book media and to find out the effect of this media in mastery of vocabulary owned by students. The research method is quantitative research with experimental type, the research design used is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. tools for data collection are normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. The use of fun thinker book media has six steps. And the result of the study is that there is an effect of using fun thinker book media in mastering mufradat 34% The results of hypothesis testing using the independent simple t test method and significance (sig tailed) 0.000 is small than 0.05 and the value of t count 4675 is greater than t table 2012. Then Ha: accepted, and H0: rejected.

Abstract

Despite years of traditional Arabic language instruction, many students still struggle to express themselves confidently and fluently in real-world conversations. This alarming gap underscores the urgent need for innovative pedagogical strategies that go beyond rote memorization and passive learning. This study investigates the effectiveness of interactive debate strategies in enhancing Arabic speaking proficiency, offering a dynamic platform for real-time communication, critical thinking, and confidence-building. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with educators and students, and reflective journals. The study involved 60 participants, selected through purposive sampling to represent varying proficiency levels. The findings reveal that interactive debates significantly improve fluency, vocabulary acquisition, and critical argumentation skills, while also fostering psycholinguistic benefits such as reduced speaking anxiety and better cognitive control. However, challenges like time constraints, preparation gaps, and language disparities were observed. To address these barriers, practical solutions including pre-debate workshops, flexible scheduling, and scaffolded participation are proposed. This study bridges a crucial gap in Arabic language pedagogy by presenting a structured framework for implementing interactive debates, ultimately promoting sustainable language learning outcomes and empowering students to speak Arabic with clarity, confidence, and cultural awareness.

Abstract

Abstract: Public speaking is a crucial skill in foreign language learning, fostering confidence and communicative competence. This study explores the impact of Master of Ceremony (MC) training as a pedagogical tool to enhance Arabic speaking proficiency through a humanistic approach. While previous research has highlighted anxiety and lack of self-confidence as barriers to Arabic language acquisition, limited studies have examined the role of structured MC training in overcoming these challenges. This research employs a qualitative case study approach, conducted at Pondok Pesantren Darullughah Wadda’wah (Dalwa), where Arabic serves as both a medium of instruction and daily communication. Data collection includes classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and student self-reflections, analyzed thematically to identify linguistic and psychological developments. A total of 30 students with varying proficiency levels and 5 Arabic instructors participated in the study over an eight-week period. The research framework is grounded in Krashen’s Input Hypothesis and Vygotsky’s Sociocultural Theory, emphasizing meaningful language exposure and social interaction. Findings indicate that MC training significantly enhances students' confidence, fluency, and spontaneous speech production. Participants reported improved pronunciation, structured speech patterns, and greater motivation to engage in public speaking. Additionally, the study reveals a shift in students’ perception of Arabic from a rigid academic subject to a practical communication tool. Compared to traditional speaking exercises, MC training provides real-world communicative experiences, reducing reliance on memorization and fostering linguistic autonomy. This study contributes to Arabic language pedagogy by advocating performance-based learning as an effective strategy to bridge the gap between classroom instruction and real-life communication. The findings provide valuable insights for language educators, curriculum developers, and policymakers in integrating MC training into Arabic language programs. Keywords: Arabic speaking skills, MC training, humanistic approach, communicative competence, public speaking. مستخلص البحث: يُعَدُّ التحدث أمام الجمهور مهارةً أساسية في تعلم اللغات الأجنبية، إذ يُعزز الثقة بالنفس والكفاءة التواصلية. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى استكشاف أثر التدريب على دور "عريف الحفل" (MC) كأداة تربوية لتحسين مهارة التحدث باللغة العربية من خلال منهج إنساني. وعلى الرغم من أن دراسات سابقة قد سلطت الضوء على مشاعر القلق ونقص الثقة بالنفس كعوائق أمام اكتساب اللغة العربية، فإن القليل من الدراسات تناولت دور التدريب المنظم على MC في التغلب على هذه التحديات. تعتمد هذه الدراسة على منهج دراسة الحالة النوعية، وقد أُجريت في معهد دار اللغة والدعوة الإسلامية (دلوى)، حيث تُستخدم اللغة العربية وسيلةً للتعليم والتواصل اليومي. تشمل أدوات جمع البيانات: ملاحظات صفية، مقابلات شبه منظمة، وتأملات ذاتية للطلبة، وتم تحليلها موضوعيًّا للكشف عن التطورات اللغوية والنفسية. شارك في الدراسة ثلاثون طالبًا من مستويات مختلفة، وخمسة معلمين للغة العربية، على مدى ثمانيةأسابيع. تستند الدراسة إلى نظرية المدخل اللغوي لكراشن ونظرية فيجوتسكي الثقافية الاجتماعية، مع التركيز على أهمية التعرض المعنوي للغة والتفاعل الاجتماعي. أظهرت النتائج أن تدريب MC يُسهم بشكل كبير في تعزيز ثقة الطلبة وطلاقتهم وقدرتهم على التحدث التلقائي. كما أفاد المشاركون بتحسن في النطق، وتنظيم الخطاب، وازدياد الدافعية للتحدث أمام الجمهور. كذلك، كشفت الدراسة عن تحول في تصور الطلبة للغة العربية، من كونها مادة أكاديمية جامدة إلى أداة تواصل عملي. وبالمقارنة مع التمارين التقليدية في التحدث، يوفر تدريب MC خبرات تواصل حقيقية تقلل من الاعتماد على الحفظ وتُنمِّي الاستقلالية اللغوية. تُقدِّم هذه الدراسة إسهامًا في تعليم اللغة العربية من خلال الدعوة إلى التعلم القائم على الأداء كاستراتيجية فعّالة لردم الفجوة بين التعليم الصفي والتواصل الواقعي. وتُقدم نتائجها رؤى قيّمة للمعلمين، ومطوري المناهج، وصناع القرار في مجال تعليم اللغة العربية. الكلمات المفتاحية: مهارات التحدث بالعربية؛ تدريب MC؛ المنهج الإنساني؛ الكفاءة التواصلية؛ التحدث أمام الجمهور.

Abstract

مستخلص البحث: الخط النسخي يُعد من أسهل أنواع الخطوط العربية تعلُّمًا وأكثرها استخدامًا في المجال التعليمي، مما يجعله موضوعًا مناسبًا للدراسة من حيث أثره في تنمية مهارة الكتابة لدى الطلاب. يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل دور تعليم الخط النسخ في تطوير مهارات الكتابة باللغة العربية، من خلال مراجعة منهجية للأدبيات. يعتمد البحث على منهج المراجعة المنهجية للأدبيات (Systematic Literature Review - SLR) بتحليل الدراسات السابقة ذات الصلة. تم جمع البيانات من مقالات علمية ومجلات أكاديمية وتقارير بحثية ركزت على تعليم الخط النسخ ومهارة الكتابة. أظهرت النتائج أن تعليم الخط النسخ لا يُحسن فقط من جودة الكتابة، بل يعزز الجوانب الجمالية والثقافية لدى الطلاب. كما ظهرت عوامل مساعدة مثل وجود المعلمين المؤهلين والوسائل المناسبة، وأخرى معوقة مثل قلة الوقت في المناهج الدراسية. توصي الدراسة بدمج الخط النسخ بشكل أوسع ضمن مناهج تعليم اللغة العربية. الكلمات المفتاحية: مراجعة منهجية (SLR) ، خط النسخ، مهارة الكتابة Abstract: Naskh script is one of the easiest types of Arabic scripts to learn and the most widely used in the educational field, making it a suitable topic for study in terms of its impact on the development of students' writing skills. This research aims to analyze the role of teaching Naskh calligraphy in developing Arabic writing skills through a systematic literature review. The research adopts the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach by analyzing previous relevant studies. Data were collected from scientific articles, academic journals, and research reports that focused on teaching calligraphy and writing skills. The results showed that teaching calligraphy not only improves the quality of writing, but also enhances students' aesthetic and cultural aspects. Helping factors such as the presence of qualified teachers and appropriate tools, and hindering factors such as lack of time in the curriculum were also found. The study recommends integrating calligraphy more widely into the Arabic language curriculum. Keywords: Systematic Literature Review, Naskh Script, Writing Skills

Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the Jolly Phonics method in improving the maharah kitābah skills of students in the Arabic Language 1 class at Pondok Pesantren Al Qur’an Al Karim Palembang. Using a quasi-experimental design with data collected through pretests and posttests administered to 20 students, the results show that prior to the intervention, the students' maharah kitābah skills were categorized as moderate, with an average pretest score of 65.5. After the intervention, the average posttest score increased to 80.5, reflecting a 15% improvement. Hypothesis testing revealed a t-value of 4.016, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.711, thus confirming the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H_a) and rejection of the null hypothesis (H_o). The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test indicated a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores, with a Z-value of -3.193 and an Asymp. Sig. value of 0.001. This suggests that the observed changes in the students' scores were not coincidental but rather the result of the intervention. Overall, this study concludes that the Jolly Phonics method is effective in improving maharah kitābah skills in students.

Abstract

The qualifications of graduates learning Arabic can be measured by the quality of the curriculum applied. A certified curriculum is qualified when it passes the management process well. The study aims to analyze the management of the Arabic curriculum to produce qualified graduate qualifications. The author uses a descriptive qualitative approach through case study methods at As-Syifa Subang High School. The data was collected through observation phases and interviews with the Deputy Head of the Curriculum School. The results of this study revealed that As-Syifa Subang High School adopted the Merdeka Curriculum with a shared merdeka pattern. The management of the curriculum implementation is carried out after the concepts are well formulated. A variety of curricula include project based-learning, Al-Qur’an deepening, multilingual learning, character education, and entrepreneurship that are integrated into each subject. The findings of this study suggest that in addition to curriculum design there are important bodies that can produce qualified graduate qualifications, that is individual “learners” through good management support and educational materials that are accessible from a variety of sources.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the stylistic forms or sighat amstal kaminah in the language of the Qur'an from an Arabic literary perspective. The focus of this study is on metaphors that are not explicitly mentioned in the wording that refers to the words tamstil, tasybih, or other words that have metaphorical meanings but still retain their metaphorical meanings. The research model used is qualitative, employing a descriptive approach. The research stages include data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The data collection techniques used include documentation in the form of books, Qur'anic commentaries, and journal articles. This study found that amtsal is a very distinctive literary style in conveying information and metaphors that have their own appeal and transform abstract concepts into something tangible. The results of the above study indicate that the proverb kaminah describes the expression: “The best of affairs is the middle ground” found in QS. Al-Baqarah: 68 and QS. Al-Isrā': 110, a verse similar to the expression: “News is not the same as reality witnessed firsthand” found in QS. Al-Baqarah (2): 260, a verse similar to the expression: “Whatever you borrow, you will be repaid in equal measure,” found in Surah An-Nisa (4): 123, and a verse with the expression: “A believer should not fall into the same pit twice,” found in Surah Yusuf (12:64)

مستخلص البحث: يوجد العديد من الأخطاء في نطق الأصوات العربية لدى الطلاب الجامعي. ولا يقتصر على الطلاب الخريجين من المدارس الثانوية أو المدارس المهنية، بل يشمل أيضاً بعض الطلاب الخريجين من المدارس الإسلامية. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل التحديات التي يواجهها الدارسون الإندونيسيون في تعلم الأصوات العربية ولمعرفة الحلول المقترحة لمواجهتها. والمنهج المستخدم في هذا البحث هو الوصفي التحليلي بدراسة المصادر والمراجع من كتب ومقالات علمية. وتشير نتائج البحث إلى أن من التحديات في تعلم أصوات اللغة العربية هي: التحديات من جهة المشكلات الصوتية، والتحديات من قبل الدارسين، والتحديات من قبل المدرسين. وأما من الحلول لمواجهة هذه التحديات منها: التدريبات المستمرة والتركيز على الأصوات المعينة، واعطاء التشجيعات للدارسين، واستعمال الوسائل الرقمية والزكاء الإصطنائي للتدريبات في النطق الأصوات العربية، وتصميم المواد تعليم الأصوات على دراسة تقابلية، وعلى المدرسين أن يفهموا خصائص ومميزات الاصوات العربية، وأن يرتكز على تعليم الأصوات قبل تعليم المفردات والقواعد. الكلمات الأساسية : التحديات، الحلول، تعليم الأصوات Abstract: There are some errors in the pronunciation of Arabic sounds among university students. These errors are not limited to graduates of general or vocational high schools but also include some graduates of Islamic schools. This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by Indonesian learners in learning Arabic phonetics and identify solutions to address these challenges. The method used in this research is descriptive-analytical, involving the review of sources and references from books and scientific articles. The result indicate that the challenges in learning Arabic phonetics include phonetic-related issues, challenges from the learners’ side, and challenges from the teachers’ side. Proposed solutions to these challenges include intensive practice and focus on specific sounds, providing motivation to learners, utilizing digital tools and artificial intelligence for pronunciation training, designing phonetic learning materials based on contrastive studies, and ensuring that teachers understand the characteristics and features of Arabic sounds, and phonetic teaching be prioritized before vocabulary and grammar teaching. Abstract: As for the research problem, what follows is the disclosure of the characteristics of the Basra and Kufa schools, and the position of Sheikh Al-Amriti in his views and grammatical terms between these two schools in Al-Durrah Al-Bahia, the criminal systems. This is Qualitative research because it collects data from words, not numbers. And its data is qualitative data. And the research entry made by the researcher, the descriptive method (Documenter method), which is describing the linguistic aspects without trying to find the causes and causes. That is, it is limited to displaying the linguistic use of a particular group at a specific time and place. It contains an attempt to photograph, record, analyze and interpret the conditions. And the results of the research are the characteristics of the Basra and Kufa schools that are equal between them and violate the criterion for accepting martyrdom and grammatical protest. Abstract

Abstract: UIN Maliki Campus Malang aspires to score the people who put forward the dhikr, though, and good deeds. These values ??are reported to dhikr, fear of Allah, quality of life, earnest and critical, and want to be delivered knowledge. PKPBA is a unit at UIN Malang that is interesting to be used as an initial object that implements the values of Ulul Albab. This type of research is field research, located at UIN Malang. By using qualitative, this research is expected to obtain information from reality, and facts as well as gain a new understanding of the problems of implementing values ??on the Ulul Albab campus. This research shows that the values ??of Ulul Albab are developed and developed on this campus, which is evident in the process of learning Arabic at PKPBA. Besides preparing students for Arabic, PKPBA also shapes the personality and character of students in the first year. Values, Arabic learning conducted at PKPBA is loaded with the provisions of Ulul Albab language and values.
