Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether empowerment can mediate the effects of servant leadership and perceived organization on employee loyalty. This study uses a quantitative approach that consists of two exogenous variables, such as servant leadership and perceived organization, one endogenous variable, namely employee loyalty, and one intervening variable, which is employee empowerment. The data used is primary data obtained directly from respondents, including as many as 143 members of the FPMPI Kopertais 4 association. The research instrument used a Likert scale of 1–5, while the data analysis used SEM diagram analysis, which was processed using Amos Structural Equation Modelling. The results of the study show that servant leadership, perceived organization, and empowerment have a significant effect on employee loyalty directly, while the indirect effect of servant leadership and perceived organization on employee loyalty through employee empowerment has a significant influence. These results indicate that empowerment is able to mediate exogenous and endogenous variables.

Abstract

Poetry is one of the media that can provide education to listeners and those who watch it if the poetry is also in visual form. However, there are also poems that are mere entertainment without educational value, especially in Islamic education. Therefore, it is necessary to study the value of education in a poem that the author takes as a sample poem in Acehnese entitled Rateb Meutuah. This study used a qualitative descriptive research method, collecting data using the document review method and the data content analysis method. The results of the research prove that the Aceh language poem Rateb Meutuwah sung by Joel Pasee is very closely related to the content of Islamic educational values, such as the value of humility (tawadhu'), the value of patience, the value the obligation to educate children, the value of advocating the five daily prayers, the value of devotion to both parents, the value of respect and devotion to teachers, and the value of advocating for children with good prayers. Thus the Aceh language poem Rateb Meutuwah is full of Islamic educational values, so it is highly recommended to always listen to or show it to children so that the contained educational values can be instilled in a child.

Abstract

This article aims to develop video learning media specifically crafted to assist educators in presenting learning materials more tangibly and understandably, particularly within early childhood education. Guided by the Research and Development (R&D) process, the study focuses on two primary objectives: (1) elucidating the intricacies of developing STEAM-based video learning media for Early Childhood Education, incorporating Religious and Moral Values, and (2) evaluating the appropriateness and effectiveness of such media in the educational context. Adopting the ADDIE development model, the research encompasses five pivotal stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The validation process for the developed product entails collaboration with media, material, and design experts, complemented by feedback from colleagues. One-to-one tests, Small Group Tests, and Field Test methods are employed to assess the effectiveness of the media. Validation results from these experts affirm that the developed media aligns seamlessly with the criteria for successful application in educational settings. During the product implementation phase involving 15 students, it became evident that this development was an effective learning tool. The post-test scores surpassing the pre-test scores indicate the product's efficacy in enhancing the understanding of morning phenomena, instilling religious and moral values, and fostering STEAM creativity in early childhood education.

Abstract

This research aims to compare the learning outcomes of Qur'an Hadith among three cooperative learning models, TGT, Peer Tutoring, and STAD, based on students' school backgrounds. This quantitative study used a comparative method to analyze data with SPSS 27 and the Two Way ANOVA test. The results revealed significant differences in Qur'an Hadith learning outcomes between students using the TGT model and those using Peer Tutoring, as well as between TGT and STAD (Sig.2-tailed < 0.05). However, there was no significant difference in learning outcomes between Peer Tutoring and STAD (Sig.2-tailed > 0.05). There was also no significant difference based on students' school backgrounds (SD, MI) (Sig. > 0.05). Furthermore, there was no interaction between the Learning Model and School Background in determining students' Qur'an Hadith learning outcomes (Sig. > 0.05). Overall, TGT proved to be the most effective teaching model in enhancing students' Qur'an Hadith learning outcomes, while students' school backgrounds did not influence these results.

Abstract

This article describes Muhammad Ali's educational endeavors since he came to power in 1805. Muhammad Ali built schools and brought in European teachers to teach, and he aimed to take advantage of scientific developments in European countries to create a modern Egypt. By conducting a literature study and a qualitative approach, we analyze the sources obtained and describe them historically using a qualitative approach. Muhammad Ali had strong ambitions to become the sole ruler of the Middle East and his descendants. For this reason, a strong army is needed for this ambition. A strong military cannot come without medicine, chemistry, physics, civil engineering, and language education. His efforts succeeded brilliantly after experiencing obstacles almost on par with all European countries. However, this effort is detrimental to Islamic Education and Al-Azhar by building schools that sometimes do not follow Islamic teachings and rule out Arabic as the language of the Koran. Even so, public Education did not continue and run as it should because Western countries stopped Muhammad Ali's ambition to build a modern state. After all, the interests of the West and Russia were disrupted.
