Abstract

Traditional markets play a crucial role in meeting the basic needs of the community, especially in rural areas. This study aims to explore the role of local government in managing the Tanru Tedong Traditional Market in Dua Pitue District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and field observations involving local government officials and market traders. Data were analyzed using Nvivo 12 Plus software to identify key patterns and themes. The findings reveal that the local government acts as both a regulator and motivator in market management. As a regulator, the government sets policies to ensure the market operates orderly and efficiently, though challenges remain in changing the habits of traders and visitors. As a motivator, the government strives to encourage traders to increase productivity and maintain market cleanliness, despite ongoing challenges in waste management. Transparent market management and open communication between management and traders are deemed essential for improving market management effectiveness. Additionally, the market's security is considered adequate, though improvements in waste management and orderliness are still needed. The study concludes that synergy between local government and traders is vital for achieving effective and efficient market management, ultimately enhancing community welfare and business sustainability in traditional markets.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the utilization of information technology on the quality of public services and the factors that influence the utilization of information technology on the quality of public services at the Mario Village Office. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative approach. The sample of this study was 37 people. The sampling method used saturated samples. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 22.0 for windows. Based on the results of the simple null regression test, the significance value is 0.003 <0.05 and the calculated t value is 3.143> t table 1.689, which means that there is an influence. The use of information technology has an influence of 57,2 % on the quality of public services at the Mario Village Office, while the remaining 42,8 % is influenced by other variables that were not studied. Factors that influence the quality of public services at the Mario Village Office are Social Factors, Affect, Complexity, Task Suitability, Long-Term Consequences, Facilitating Conditions. So, the value of the factors that influence the quality of public services at the Mario Village Office is 80% of the 100% expected results.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of implementing social media marketing strategies on increasing sales, using quantitative methods. With the development of social media, companies are increasingly using it as a tool to increase visibility and customer engagement. However, the effectiveness of social media marketing strategies in increasing sales is not fully understood. Therefore, this study takes a quantitative approach to measure the impact of social media marketing strategies on sales more objectively. Data were collected by observation, questionnaires, literature studies and interviews. The population was taken from the number of followers of the Toko Bajutta Instagram account, which was 1,017 followers and a sample of 91 people was taken using the Random Sampling sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using appropriate statistical methods to identify the relationship between the implementation of social media marketing strategies and increased sales. The results of this study are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the role of social media in improving the company's sales performance.

Abstract

This dissemination activity aims to instill and improve the religious-nationalist character of senior students and teachers at the Muhammadiyah Al-Munawaroh Islamic boarding school to maintain harmony between religious communities and with internal religious communities. Strengthening religious-nationalist values ​​provided training methods consisting of socialization, problem identification, socio-economic and cultural mapping of society to senior students and teachers. The techniques used include conducting surveys, focus group discussions, and designing training projects. The results of this dissemination activity show that it is working effectively to develop the capacity of students and teachers, as well as providing improvements in Islamic boarding school management, curriculum design and roles in society. Santri and teachers from various regions in Indonesia are given the knowledge and skills needed to become pioneering preaching cadres of religious-nationalist character in society.

Abstract

TikTok is an application where users often share short music videos which result in and influence the social behavior of its users, both positive and negative. Almost all Papuan female students who live in the USU women's dormitory are addicted to the social media TikTok. This can be seen from their social behavior. Through the social media TikTok, the students who used to be open, often socializing with each other have now become introverts who prefer to be alone in their lives. room, taking up time to do campus assignments. This research aims to find out and see the level of influence of the social media TikTok on the social behavior of Papuan female students in the USU girls' dormitory. This research uses primary data obtained from social media TikTok on social behavior through observation and distribution of questionnaires. The sampling technique used is Proportional Multistage Random Sampling, the researcher took the entire sample in this study with a sample size of 40 respondents. The indicators used in variable X (Social Media) are dance, scroll reels and live streaming. while the indicators for variable Y (Social Behavior) are gathering, sharing, communicating, collaborating and expressing oneself. From the two indicators above, the results show that TikTok has a very strong influence on social behavior. It can be seen from the results of the correlation test that social media has carried out that it has a contribution of 62.2% to the social behavior of Papuan students in the USU girls' dormitory.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of potential cultural heritage, tourism, and community participation on regional development in Padang Rear District. This study uses a combination method between qualitative and quantitative which applies an approach with a sequential exploratory strategy. The results of the study formulated that at the study site there was a building area allegedly having the characteristics of cultural heritage but had not been determined as an object of cultural heritage through government policy so that there was no preservation made. The results also showed that in the development of regional planning depends on the potential of its cultural preservation as a tourist destination, the tourism component of cultural heritage (facilities in supporting tourism), as well as community participation (local and non-local) which also plays a role in the development of tourism so that the tourism area is realized. Sustainable culture until the future. Furthermore, researchers provide several recommendations to the results of this study so that the development of tourism cultural heritage in Padang Rear District can be realized.

Abstract

This research aims to determine "The influence of service quality and price perception on Mnc play customer satisfaction (case study of the Tanjung Rejo Village Community). This research uses quantitative research methods with the aim of analyzing the influence between two or more variables. The sample in this study was the Tangjung Rejo Village Community who used Mnc play. In this research, researchers carried out questionnaires. Test the data in this study using SPSS 25. Based on the results of the partial test (t), service quality and price perception have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. In the Determination Coefficient Test (R2), the Adjusted R Square value was 54.8%, while the remaining 45.2% was influenced by other factors not included in this research.

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the influence of compensation, regulations, and supervision on the work discipline of teachers at MAN 3 Langkat. The population of this research comprised all civil servant and PPPK teachers at MAN 3 Langkat, totaling 40 employees. The sample size taken was 40 respondents, using a saturated sampling technique. The research was conducted in 2024. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires to produce primary quantitative data measured with a Likert scale, which was then processed with SPSS 24 using multiple linear regression methods. The results showed that compensation, regulations, and supervision, both partially and simultaneously, had a positive and significant effect on the work discipline of teachers at MAN 3 Langkat. The t-test (partial) results indicated that compensation had a regression value of 0.332, t-value = 3.697, and significance = 0.001. Regulations had a regression value of 0.365, t-value = 5.242, and significance = 0.000. Supervision had a regression value of 0.220, t-value = 3.456, and significance = 0.001. The F-test (simultaneous) results showed an F-value = 226.049 and significance = 0.000. The t-table value was 2.028, and the F-table value was 2.866, thus t-value > t-table and F-value > F-table with a significance value > 0.05, meaning Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The hypotheses were proven true and acceptable as the research results were consistent with the hypotheses. Regulations were the most dominant variable affecting work discipline, with a t-value of 5.242. Approximately 94.5% of work discipline could be explained and obtained from compensation, regulations, and supervision, while the remaining was due to other factors. Work discipline had a very strong relationship with compensation, regulations, and supervision.

Abstract

This study was conducted at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I to evaluate the simultaneous and partial effects of human resource development, skills, and communication on employee performance. The sample consisted of 57 respondents selected using saturated sampling techniques. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation studies, and analyzed using SPSS 25 for data quality testing, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression and hypotheses. The results showed that human resource development, skills, and communication simultaneously and partially had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT Mitra Andal Sejati to know and analyze the effect of workload, work stress, and career development on employee performance partially and simultaneously. The sampling technique used was saturation sampling with a sample size of 40 Sales Promotion Girls. Data was collected through observation, questionnaire distribution, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted through SPSS 25 which includes a data quality test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and determination test. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously workload, work stress, and career development have a significant influence on employee performance. Workload and work stress partially have a negative and significant effect on employee performance, while career development has a positive and significant impact on employee performance.
