Abstract

Pesantren is a traditional educational institution rooted in Islam, which focuses on the study and application of Islamic religious practices as the core of its education. As times evolve, Islamic boarding schools must develop innovation by integrating the general education curriculum into the Islamic boarding school curriculum. The aim is that the students not only have religious knowledge, but also gain general knowledge to compete with graduates from different educational backgrounds. This applies both in the context of everyday life and in the academic realm. Eco enzyme or environmentally friendly enzyme is made from residue or household waste such as vegetable waste, fruit peels and other household waste. This enzyme has commercial value if processed with the right knowledge. Therefore, the main aim of this community service activity is to provide knowledge and provide training on eco enzyme processing to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit and skills of Islamic boarding school members. This community service also has a questionnaire and provides positive feedback for Al Misbah boarding school students. The results of this activity are a real contribution in making independent and empowering Islamic boarding school students through the implementation of ecoenzymes by producing soap products

Abstract

The training on making fish balls and business management in Tobati Village aims to increase family income through the development of skills and knowledge in the food industry. This program is designed to empower the local community by providing practical skills in making fish balls as well as knowledge in business management. Through this training, it is hoped that participants can develop fish ball businesses independently, improve product quality, and optimize local marketing. The results of this training are expected to make a significant contribution to increasing family income, as well as improving welfare and economic development in Tobati Village

Abstract

The use of local food as a strategy to prevent anemia is not optimal; one of the causes is a lack of public knowledge and awareness about the importance of nutrition in local food. Effective counseling by nutritionists can help change people's behavior in choosing and consuming food. A series of activities are the answer to the problem, namely increasing knowledge through direct counseling and PMT (supplemental feeding) cooking demonstrations using local food, namely the use of the Kelakai plant as a nugget mixture. The community is given an understanding of local food diversity, which can help increase nutritional intake, especially iron. Extension workers encourage people to take advantage of local food that is easy to obtain and affordable, namely the Kelakai plant, which is processed into nuggets. Extension workers also provide training to pregnant women on how to cook and serve local food to keep it nutritious. The activity began by conducting a pre-test through questions about knowledge of anemia in pregnant women. The aim was to see the descriptions of participants, namely pregnant women, regarding knowledge of anemia, symptoms, and consequences of anemia. The taste of Nugget received quite good ratings from respondents, especially for texture and color. The taste also received positive reviews, although some respondents felt the aroma could be improved. The comments provided can be used to improve product quality

Abstract

Hospitals must provide information that is complete, easy to understand, and accessible to all members of the community to provide the best service. Newly-arrived hospital patients usually feel confused by health care facilities. Limited personnel resources in hospitals that serve many visitors may contribute to poor service. A large number of visitors can reduce the quality of service. This will make visitors dissatisfied with the service. Complaints experienced by visitors in various hospitals include long service times to completion, complaints about administrative problems, communication and attitude of officers, unclear information on handling complaints, handling complaints that are considered too complicated a process, no solution to complaints, perceived discriminatory and unfair health services, and unclear information on costs borne by patients. The solution and output target of this Community Service activity is to provide products and services for the application of health service information applications. With the application of this application, it is hoped that it can be used to help the effectiveness of the performance they carry out daily and is useful for improving facility management to produce detailed and relevant information

Abstract

One of the factors that influences the nutritional status of toddlers is clean and healthy living behavior. PHBS is a behavior that must be carried out consciously by a family. Poor PHBS can have an impact on the nutritional status of toddlers. Data obtained from the Banda Aceh City Health Service, in 2022, the number of toddlers weighed was 29,085 and those experiencing malnutrition were 2,209 (7.6%). The highest number of toddlers experiencing malnutrition was at the Baiturrahman Community Health Center at 27.6%, the Ulee Kareng Community Health Center at 26.3% and the Lampaseh Community Health Center at 26%. Clean and healthy living behavior has a big influence on the growth and development of toddlers, including their nutritional status, where the family plays a role in parenting and maintaining health so that toddlers avoid infectious diseases that can disrupt their growth and development

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology brings with it various risks, including an increase in online crime. Groups of dasawisma women in RW 10 Ciracas Village are often easy targets for fraud and cybercrime due to a lack of understanding of online security. The "CyberGuard" counseling program is designed to increase awareness and knowledge about the prevention of online crime among dasawisma mothers. Through a series of workshops and educational sessions, the program provides information on the types of cybercrime, signs of online fraud, and preventive steps that can be taken to protect yourself and your family. The results of the evaluation showed a significant increase in the participants' understanding and awareness of online security, as well as their ability to identify and avoid potential cyber threats. This program is expected to be a model for similar counseling in other communities to improve the digital safety of the community at large

Abstract

Organic farming is increasingly in demand because it prioritizes sustainability and environmentally friendly principles. Liquid organic fertilizer made from banana tubers and leri water is an alternative that is environmentally friendly and easy to produce. However, knowledge and skills in making liquid organic fertilizer still need to be improved among the community, especially in areas such as Lembang Rantedada. This study was carried out through direct assistance and training activities for the community in Lembang Rantedada with a practical and participatory approach, involving the community in every stage of fertilizer production, from raw material preparation to the fermentation and storage process. The result of this mentoring activity is an increase in community knowledge and skills in making liquid organic fertilizer. Communities can use locally available banana stems and water to produce organic fertilizer that is beneficial for their agriculture. Apart from that, awareness is also created about the importance of using organic fertilizer in supporting sustainable agriculture and environmental preservation. Assistance in making liquid organic fertilizer from banana stems and leri water to the community in Lembang Rantedada is an effective step in increasing the independence and sustainability of local agriculture. By increasing knowledge and skills, communities can utilize local resources more optimally and support environmentally friendly agricultural practices

Abstract

With the increasing human population, waste production, including household waste, has also increased, creating significant management problems. Organic waste, such as vegetable and fruit scraps, decomposes easily and can pollute the environment and produce harmful methane gas. One solution to reduce the negative impact of household organic waste is by making Eco Enzyme, a fermentation product of organic kitchen waste that provides various environmental and health benefits. Therefore, this community service activity aims to raise awareness and skills in waste management through the creation of Eco Enzyme. The implementation method involves a Socialization on Utilizing Waste through Eco Enzyme, held in Dusun Cikatomas, Handapherang Village, Cijeungjing District, Ciamis Regency on Thursday, May 9, 2024. This activity was attended by several PKK members. The steps include four stages: pre-proposal, proposal, main activity, and evaluation. During the service activity, the materials presented were what Eco Enzyme is, how to make it, its benefits, and how to use it. The harvested and packaged Eco Enzyme was distributed to participants for them to experience its benefits firsthand. From the entire socialization series, it was evident that all participants were motivated to try making Eco Enzyme

Abstract

Hypertension is the most common chronic disease characterized by a constant increase in arterial pressure of more than 130/80 mmHg. Hypertension is a disease that contributes to the development of stroke, myocardial infarction, heart failure and kidney failure, so it is necessary to control hypertension throughout life by maintaining patient compliance so that there is no spike in blood pressure which causes damage to body organs. In the era of industrial revolution 5.0 with unlimited digital Internet, the ease of remote interaction without time constraints provides the opportunity to check the compliance of hypertensive outpatients wherever they are. The method used is a narrative review. Results of journal articles published through online media from 2016 to 2023. Manual search for articles from Pubmed, Science Direct, Google Scholar, JMIR Publications, and SagePub databases. The research results show that telepharmacy has an impact on controlling blood pressure in hypertensive patients

Abstract

This Community Service is carried out with the aim that Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) realize the importance of making financial reports and know the existence of accounting applications from Bank Indonesia that can help the process of making financial reports. The method used was in the form of lectures and socialization of SAK EMKM and Computerized Accounting using the SIAPIK application. The result of this activity is that MSMEs actors in Pematangsiantar City have realized the importance of making financial reports and the existence of the SIAPIK application which can be used for free in making their business financial reports. This activity was welcomed by MSME actors and felt important to be carried out continuously
