DE_JOURNAL (Dharmas Education Journal) merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Dharmas Indonesia, dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian serta berbagi perkembangan ilmu tentang pendidikan. Jurnal ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan, artikel telaah yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan ilmu pendidikan. Jurnal ini terbit 2 kali dalam setahun yaitu bulan Juni dan Desember. DE_JOURNAL merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang berisi tentang hasil penelitian, kajian mendalam, gagasan atau inovasi pada bidang ilmu pendidikan. Gagasan yang berasal dari para peneliti yang berada pada sektor pendidikan diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif pada dunia pendidikan. Abstract

The aim of this research is: 1) to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with a TPACK-based scientific approach on students' problem solving abilities. 2) To determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with a TPACK-based scientific approach on students' mathematical literacy abilities. The type of research used is quasi-experimental design. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Empat Lawang with a population of 138 students in class XI Science. The research sample was students of class XI IPA 1 as a control class, totaling 34 students and class The research results show that: 1). There are differences in problem solving abilities between students taught using the Problem Based Learning learning model with a TPACK-based Scientific Approach and conventional learning after controlling for students' initial abilities, namely a sig value < 0.001. 2). There is a difference in mathematical literacy abilities between students taught using the Problem Based Learning learning model with a TPACK-based Scientific Approach and conventional learning after controlling for students' initial abilities, namely a sig value < 0.001. 3.) there is a linear influence of the covariate of students' initial problem solving ability on the final problem solving ability of students who are taught through the Problem Based Learning learning model with a TPACK-based scientific approach with a si value of <0.001. 4). There is a linear influence of the covariate of initial mathematical literacy ability on the final mathematical literacy ability of students taught through the Problem Based Learning learning model with a TPACK-based scientific approach, with a sig value <0.001.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh fasilitas perpustakaan terhadap pengalaman belajar mahasiswa di STIE Ganesha yang dilaksanakan bulan Oktober 2024. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan fokus menggali secara mendalam peran fasilitas perpustakaan, seperti ketersediaan koleksi buku, ruang baca, dan akses internet, dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas perpustakaan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi, efektivitas, serta kepuasan belajar mahasiswa. Wawancara mendalam dengan mahasiswa yang aktif menggunakan perpustakaan mengungkapkan bahwa fasilitas yang baik mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan kemandirian belajar, serta memperkuat interaksi antar mahasiswa dalam kerja kelompok. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan beberapa kendala yang menghambat pemanfaatan optimal fasilitas perpustakaan, seperti terbatasnya koleksi buku pada mata pelajaran tertentu, jumlah ruang baca yang tidak mencukupi, serta keterbatasan koneksi internet. Kendala ini dapat mengurangi kenyamanan dan efektivitas belajar mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan fasilitas perpustakaan melalui penambahan koleksi buku yang lebih variatif dan terkini, perluasan ruang baca yang lebih nyaman, serta peningkatan akses internet yang stabil. Langkah-langkah ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengalaman belajar mahasiswa dan mendukung prestasi akademik mereka secara maksimal di STIE Ganesha.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a difference in increasing the creative thinking abilities and learning independence of control and experimental class students in class IV of SD N 32 Tanjuang Bonai. This type of research is experimental research. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at SD N 32 Tanjuang Bonai which consisted of two classes. The samples in this research were class IV A and class IV B. The instruments used in this research were test sheets and questionnaires. Hypothesis testing is carried out using the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis, there is a significant difference between the thinking abilities of students in the experimental class and the control class which applies differentiated learning. The average N-Gain gain score for the experimental class was 0.72 and the control class was 0.46. Meanwhile, regarding the relationship between differentiated learning and student learning independence, the t-count in the t-table is 0.758 < 2.069, so rejecting Ha and accepting H0, it can be concluded that differentiated learning has no effect on student learning independence.

Abstract

This research has a very important purpose in understanding and addressing the phenomenon of radicalism. A multidisciplinary approach from the perspectives of psychology, sociology, and theology provides comprehensive insights into the factors influencing the development of radicalism. The research method used is a literature review that focuses on the analysis and synthesis of existing sources such as books, journal articles, research reports, and other sources related to the research topic. Data analysis involves the process of reading, understanding, and synthesizing information from various literary sources.The research results that identify triggers of radicalism from psychological, sociological, and theological perspectives are a crucial initial step. This provides a foundation for the development of more effective prevention strategies. The implementation of religious counseling programs with a holistic approach, including introspection, Tazkiyatun Nafs, Tadabur Qur'an, and Ta'aruf, shows that this research provides concrete solutions to address radicalism. These findings have significant implications for the development of interventions that focus on the root causes of radicalism. By understanding the factors influencing individuals towards radicalism, more accurate and targeted approaches can be developed for the prevention and handling of radicalism cases in society.

Abstract

Studi menunjukkan bahwa FoMO (Fear of Missing Out) berdampak pada Nomophobia (No Mobile Phone Phobia). Peneliti bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara FoMO dan nomophobia serta faktor-faktor terkait. Desain penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan pemilihan sampel berupa purposive sampling. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 348 mahasiswa dari 10 universitas berbeda di Medan yang telah mengisi kuesioner menggunakan skala Likert. Uji analisis regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa FoMO memengaruhi terjadinya Nomophobia di kalangan mahasiswa di Medan (R2 = 0,417, F = 247,38, P = 0,000). Ini berarti bahwa FoMO, sebagai variabel prediktor, memiliki pengaruh sebesar 41,7% terhadap terjadinya Nomophobia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di mata pelajaran Matematika pada materi “Bangun Datar” dan  sub-materi “Mengenal Sisi dan Sudut” di kelas I UPT SD Negeri 060857 Medan. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yang mana pada setiap siklus terdapat empat tahapan diantaranya perencanaan, tindakan, observasi serta refleksi. Adapun subjek penelitian adalah 20 peserta didik kelas I. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran powerpoint interaktif mampu meningkatkan motivasi serta hasil belajar peserta didik. Pada kondisi awal (pra-siklus), persentase kelulusan peserta didik hanya mencapai 45% dengan nilai rata-rata 60. Setelah penerapan media pembelajaran powerpoint interaktif, persentase kelulusan hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat menjadi 75% dengan nilai rata-rata 71 pada siklus I dan meningkat kembali menjadi 85% dengan nilai rata-rata 80,5 pada siklus II. Proses pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran powerpoint interaktif dapat mengadakan suasana pembelajaran yang positif dan aktif bagi peserta didik. Sehingga, penerapan media pembelajaran powerpoint interaktif pada mata pelajaran Matematika pada materi “Bangun Datar” dan  sub-materi “Mengenal Sisi dan Sudut” dibuktikan efektif. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan media pembelajaran powerpoint interaktif dalam pembelajaran untuk menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang interaktif, aktif dan positif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

This literature research examines the concept of self-efficacy in technology-integrated mathematics learning and its impact on student achievement. Self-efficacy, a person's confidence in completing a task or achieving a result, is closely related to mathematical achievement, especially with the use of technology as a learning tool. Students with high self-efficacy tend to be more accomplished, motivated, and committed to technology-based learning. Strategies to increase student self-efficacy include constructive feedback via digital platforms, student-focused, technology-based learning approaches, and the application of real-life relevant tasks using simulations and technology applications. This strategy reinforces students' confidence in their math skills, motivating learning in a digital environment. The role of parents is also important, where their support and positive expectations, channelled through technology, increase students' self-efficacy. Parents' perceptions of the integration of technology in schools have a direct impact on students' self-efficacy, affirming the need for cooperation between schools, technology, and parents in mathematics education. Based on the findings, education practitioners are advised to integrate technology, provide supportive feedback, implement technology-based learning strategies, and collaborate schools with parents using digital platforms. In conclusion, a holistic approach involving self-efficacy, multi-stakeholder engagement, and technology integration is necessary for the success of mathematics education.

Abstract

Learning problems refer to situations where students face challenges in following the learning process, thereby causing dissatisfaction in learning achievement. This is caused by an imbalance between students' skills in completing assignments and the learning demands given. This research aims to describe the role and efforts of teachers in overcoming learning problems in second grade. This type of research is qualitative research with data analysis methods using observation and interview techniques. The research instruments used were interview grids and data recording cards. The subject of this research is a second grade teacher. Results from the first research, to overcome students' reading difficulties, this can be done through personal coaching or counseling. Second, when dealing with students who are not yet proficient in writing, teachers can provide motivation as an effective action and provide practice. Third, to overcome students' concentration difficulties, teachers can adopt more diverse learning media. Fourth, in helping children with special needs, implementing inclusive education can be an effective strategy and provides practice or repetition. Fifth, to overcome low student motivation, teachers can use school facilities, such as studying in the school yard or in the library, and utilize various learning methods. The teacher's role and efforts in overcoming the learning problems faced by each student are different because it depends on the problems the student faces.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the methods used by women's transformational leadership in improving the organizational abilities of students in the Az-Zainiyah area of ​​the Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo Islamic boarding school. This research explores the impact of women's transformational leadership roles on santri's organizational abilities, emphasizing the relevance of these skills in the context of inclusive and sustainable Islamic education. The qualitative approach used in this research is a case study type. The selection of objects in the Az-Zainiyah region was based on considerations because they have produced many successful alumni who are involved in government organizations. The techniques used to collect research data consist of in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Where the research data consists of primary data obtained from several research informants, namely the regional head, three Az-Zainiyah regional administrators, five Az-Zainiyah students and five Az-Zainiyah alumni. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained from national and international journals that were relevant to research. The data analysis techniques used consist of data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that women's leadership methods in improving santri organizations are carried out by providing santri organizations, holding training and competency development, providing practical experience through various activities, and providing facilities. Women's transformational leadership has a significant impact on improving student organization

Abstract

The aim of this research is to see the level of Vo2Max ability of PRAPON Riau men's table athletes. This research is quantitative descriptive research with the research method being a survey method, namely data collection using only tests and measurements. The subjects in this research were 8 men's table tennis athletes from PRAPON Riau. The sampling technique used total sampling in which the entire population was taken as a sample. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive statistics to collect, present and determine values. The results of the research show that from the results of research data that has been carried out by researchers, the Vo2Max ability of male PRAPON Riau table tennis athletes using the 15 minute Balke test instrument on male PRAPON Riau athletes, totaling 8 athletes, had the highest Vo2Max value of 52.89 and the lowest 49.88. The overall average Vo2Max ability level of PRAPON Riau male athletes is 51.17 which is in the medium category. Based on the data that has been obtained, it is concluded that the Vo2Max level of male PRAPON Riau table tennis athletes is in the medium category.
