Abstract

Tibial tray yang sudah komersil dibuat dari Polimer Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) tetapi harganya sangat mahal. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini digunakan polimer High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) untuk pembuatan tibial tray karena harganya yang lebih murah dan memiliki kemiripan sifat dengan UHMWPE. HDPE dibuat dengan dua metode, yaitu metode hot press dan pemanasan tanpa tekanan (PTT). UHMWPE dengan metode hot press digunakan sebagai pembanding. Metode hot press dilakukan pada suhu 180 °C dan diberi tekanan sebesar 200 kg/cm2. Sedangkan metode pemanasan tanpa tekanan (PTT) dilakukan di dalam oven pada suhu 180°C. Film tipis UHMWPE dan sampel HDPE yang dihasilkan dari kedua metode tersebut, kemudian diiradiasi sinar gamma dengan variasi dosis 0, 100, 200, 300 dan 500 kGy. Karakterisasi mencakup analisis morfologi dengan Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), uji kekerasan, kekuatan tarik, dan derajat kristalinitas. Semakin tinggi dosis radiasi, maka kekerasan dan derajat kristalinitas semakin meningkat, tetapi kekuatan tarik semakin menurun. Dosis radiasi untuk sampel HDPE yang optimum , adalah 100 kGy untuk HDPE yang dibuat dengan metoda hot press, pada kondisi ini HDPE mempunyai kekuatan mekanik mendekati nilai kekuatan mekanik UHMWPE, sedangkan HDPE yang dibuat dengan metode PTT kekuatan mekaniknya masih dibawah kekuatan mekanik HDPE yang dibuat dengan metoda hot press

Abstract

Aplikasi radiasi gamma untuk pengembangan bahan polimer yang berasal dari produk laut, banyak dikembangkan. Pada penelitian ini, pengaruh iradiasi gamma terhadap sifat fisik dan mekanik film kitosan dilakukan. Sifat fisik dan mekanik film kitosan yang diiradiasi pada dosis 10 kGy sampai 50 kGy dengan laju dosis 7 kGy/j dibandingkan dengan film yang tidak diiradiasi sebagai kontrol. Karakterisasi film kitosan dilakukan dengan Fourier Transform Infra Red spectroscopy (FTIR) untuk mempelajari perubahan derajat deasetilasi (DD) kitosan. Sifat mekanik dan perubahan warna film kitosan diinvestigasi menggunakan instron meter dan chromameter. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa DD, perpanjangan putus, dan tegangan putus film kitosan cenderung menurun dengan meningkatnya dosis iradiasi yang disertai perubahan warna. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa iradiasi gamma dapat digunakan sebagai cara alternatif untuk mengontrol berat molekul kitosan selain dengan reaksi enzimatis.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan karakterisasi struktur single phase nanopartikel CaCO3 dengan menggunakan mechanical milling sebagai filler nanokomposit HDPE/CaCO3. Sampel CaCO3 di milling dengan variasi waktu selama 6, 12, 18, dan 24 jam. Hasil refinement dari pola difraksi sinar-X menunjukkan bahwa sampel CaCO3 setelah milling 24 jam merupakan single phase calcite berstruktur hexagonal dengan space group R -3 c (167) dan parameter struktur a = 4.9951(5) Å, b = 4.9951(5) Å danc=17.082(2)Å,α=β=90o danγ=120o,V= 369,1(1) Å3 dan ρ = 2.701 gr.cm-3. Ukuran partikel menjadi lebih kecil berkisar 200 nm sampai 1 μm. Sedangkan ukuran kristalitnya sebesar 24,88 nm. Disimpulkan bahwa telah berhasil dibuat polimer nanokomposit HDPE/CaCO3 dengan filler nanopartikel CaCO3 yang terdistribusi merata di seluruh permukaan polimer, sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini telah tercapai dengan baik.

Abstract

Addition of liquid natural rubber (LNR) to elastomeric thermoplastic (ETP)/polyethylene (PE) polyblend has been done. The aim of this research is to study the effect of LNR addition to the ETP /PE polyblend using blending process. The blending process was done by mixing of ETP and PE with composition of 30% and 70% by weight respectively. LNR was added to the ETP /PE with composition of 3%, 5%, and 7% by weight, to form composite materials, refer as PLB-3, PLB-5 and PLB-7. The density of the specimen was measure by picno-meter, the mechanical properties were tested by Stograph R-1, the thermal property was analyzed by Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) and the microstructure was observed by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The result shows that the melting point of ETP/PE poly-blend increased from near 140oC to near 160oC with addition of LNR, but decomposition temperature decreased. Likewise, the mechanical properties of ETP/PE poly-blend exhibit the improvement after being added LNR. The mechanical properties show a rigid structure with the highest tensile strength of 191 Kg.m-2, and referred as the most optimum composition ETP/PE poly-blend. This condition is reached with addition of 5% by weight LNR showing regular and homogenous microstructure. It can be concluded that the addition of LNR could improve miscibility of ETP/PE, so that a better quality was obtained.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan sintesis hidroksiapatit (HAp) berpori dengan porogen kitosan, menggunakan metode sol gel. HAp disintesis dari kalsium yang direaksikan dengan asam fosfat. Kalsium yang digunakan diekstrak dari cangkang telur ayam dan asam fosfat teknis. Kitosan sebagai porogen merupakan material yang biokompatibel, sehingga aman bagi tubuh manusia, karena hidroksiapatit digunakan untuk merekonstruksi tulang yang rusak. Analisis sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), dan Simulated Body Fluid (SBF). Pola difraksi hidroksiapatit menunjukkan terbentuknya HAp dengan kemurnian tinggi dengan seluruh puncak yang muncul adalah puncak HAp. Dari foto-foto SEM menunjukkan telah terbentuk pori-pori dengan ukuran 1 sampai 2 mikrometer, uji pelepasan Ca pada SBF menunjukkan kondisi negatif setelah pengamatan selama 21 hari.

Mental revolution can not be separated from moral education and mental, therefore, the purpose of education in Islam is a moral education or coaching mental learners for better mental and spirited professional.It is expected from Islamic education for a human soul in full awareness of itself, in terms of an increase of hablumminannas and hablumminallah point. So that, it would appear that the concept of the perfect man became agoal of Islamic Education. Because the goal of Islamic education is to make the perfect man outwardly and spiritually.

Abstract

Al-Ghazali was a sufism and a “faqih”. He was a smart and intelligent one. He knew of how to combine the ability of “fiqh” and sufism. In combining the two knowledges, he usually saw the internal aspects between the two eventhough they were different focus of study, but they were could not be separated each other. He thought that sufism gave something important to ‘Fiqh” because they sould standed together.

Abstract

 SIFAT   LISTRIK   SUPERKONDUKTOR  YBa2Cu3O7-x    HASIL PROSES   PELELEHAN   DENGANDOPANT Ti. Telah dilakukan pembuatan superkonduktor YBa2Cu3O7-x  (YBCO) yang didoping Ti melaluiproses modified melt textured growth (MMTG). Pembuatan cuplikan dilakukan melalui reaksi padatan dengancara menambahkan serbuk Ti ke dalam prekursor YBCO dengan variasi komposisi 0,4 % berat, 0,7 % berat, 1,0% berat dan 1,3 % berat. Proses pelelehan YBCO dilakukan pada 1100 °C selama 12 menit, kemudian didinginkan dengan cepat ke 1000 °C dan diikuti dengan pendinginan lambat ke 960 °C. Identifikasi fasa di dalam cuplikan dilakukan dengan menganalisis pola difraksi sinar-X dengan metode Rietveld. Rapat arus, Jc dan suhu kritis, Tc diukur menggunakan four point probe (FPP). Struktur mikro dan komposisi fasa cuplikan diamati dengan scanning electron microscope (SEM) dan energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS). Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa cuplikan merupakan bahan superkonduktor Tc tinggi (STT). YBa2Cu3O7-x/Ti - fasa 123 berstruktur kristal ortorombik dari grup ruang Pmmm no. 47. Rapat arus kritis, Jc cuplikan Y-0Ti diperoleh sekitar 67 A.cm-2     dan   kemudian    turun    terus dengan    kenaikan      prosentase    doping     Ti      hingga Jc » 4 A.cm-2. Menyusutnya harga Jc disebabkan Ti tidak dapat mencegah pertumbuhan fasa 211. Bila kandungan Ti bertambah, fasa 211 juga bertambah dengan distribusi tidak homogen dan tumbuh terus serta terbentuk retakan mikro yang sejajar dan memotong butiran YBCO. Akibatnya, fasa YBCO berukuran lebih pendek dan kecil dibandingkan fasa YBCO tanpa doping Ti. Demikian juga, dengan bertambahnya kandungan Ti menyebabkan suhu kritis (Tc) berkurang dari 365 °C menjadi  350 °C. AbstractELECTRICAL  CHARACTERICTIC  OF  YBa2Cu3O7-x     SUPERCONDUCTOR  DOPED  BY  Ti  USINGMELTING  PROCESS.  Synthesis  of  YBa2Cu3O7-x  (YBCO) superconductor  which  is  doped  by  Ti  usingmodified melt-textured growth (MMTG) method has been done. The specimen was made by solid state reaction by adding Ti powder to precursor of YBCO result with composition variation (in weight %) of 0.4, 0.7, 1 and1.3. The melt process of YBCO was done at 1100°C for 12 minutes then cooled rapidly to 1000°C followed by slow cooling to 960°C. Identification of the specimen phase was verified using x-rays diffraction (XRD) and followed by Rietveld method analysis. The critical temperature, Tc and current density, Jc were measured by means of four point probe (FPP). The microstructure and chemical composition of the specimen were observedusing scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS). The result shows that the specimen was YBa2Cu3O7-x high Tc superconductor of 123-phase having orthorhombic crystal structure of Pmmm no. 47 space group. The critical current density, Jc of the specimen was obtained about 67A.cm-2 and then decreased continuously with increasing of Ti dopant till Jc » 4A.cm-2. Decreasing of Jc caused by Ti cannot prevent the growth of 211 phases. In increasing Ti content, 211 phases also increase with unhomogeneousdistribution and continue to grow. There is also formation ofmicrocracks parallel to and crossing the YBCO grains. As a result, YBCO have smaller and shorter grain size compared to YBCO grain without Ti doping. Increasing of Ti content also cause decrease from 365 °C to 350 °C.

Abstract

Cervical Cancer or Uterine Carcinoma Cervicis, is the most malignant tumor and is most often found in women. Acetic Acid Visual Inspection Examination (IVA) is an examination for cervical cancer examination. Indragiri Hulu Regency is the highest positive IVA district, at 17.85%, from the number of women aged 30-50 years who are positive suffering from cervical cancer. The purpose of this study was to study the description of the knowledge of women of fertile age (WUS) about the inspection of visual acetate acid inspection (IVA) in Sungai Air Putih Village, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The research design used descriptive design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and random  sampling with a total of 94 respondents. Data collection techniques by submitting questionnaires to married women of childbearing age (WUS) in Sungai Air Putih Village Sungai Lala Puskesmas Work Area in Indragiri Hulu Regency starting from 2-7 August 2018. Requesting research: finding inspection) less 63 WUS (67 %), enough 28 WUS (30%), and good 3 WUS (3%).                                                                     Kanker Serviks atau Carcinoma Cervicis Uteri, merupakan tumor yang paling ganas dan paling sering dijumpai pada wanita. Pemeriksaan Inspeksi Visual Asam Asetat (IVA) adalah pemeriksaan untuk mendeteksi gejala kanker serviks Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) tentang pemeriksaan Inspeksi Visual Asam Asetat (IVA) di Desa Sungai Air Putih Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu.Desain penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dan random sampling dengan jumlah 94 responden. Teknik pengambilan data dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner pada Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) yang sudah menikah di Desa Sungai Air Putih Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sungai Lala Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu mulai dari 2-7 Agustus 2018.HAsil penelitian:pengetahuan tentang Pemeriksaan Inspeksi Visual Asam Asetat (IVA) adalah kurang 63 WUS (67%), cukup 28 WUS (30%), dan baik 3 WUS (3%).

Abstract

Arc-plasma sintering (APS) for 5 s has been applied to the post tungsten inert gas (TIG) weld joint of Fe–15Cr–25Ni austenitic stainless steel (ASS). The treatment is intended to observe the effect of heat generated by plasma on micro-crystal structures around the fusion zone (FZ), especially internal stress relief in steel after being subjected to welding. The effect of stress relief in weld was measured using the neutron diffraction technique. ASS that is predominantly composed of Fe, Cr, and Ni elements, with contents of 57%, 15%, and 25%wt. respectively, was cut into two parts. Both parts were then welded with TIG without filler with a current and voltage of 60 A and 50 V, respectively. After APS for 5 s, the sample was characterized and analyzed using high-resolution powder neutron diffractometer at a high-temperature laboratory facility. The results show that the tensile residual stress decreased with the APS heat input. The residual stresses significantly decreased from 82.40 MPa to 1.21 MPa in the FZ and continued almost evenly from 65.92 MPa to 1.24 MPa in the heat-affected zone (HAZ). The residual stress is a tensile stress that can reduce the mechanical strength of materials. This condition is also applicable to applied loads. A microstructure gives a confirmation that the C element migrates from the FZ to HAZ. The content was very high in dark traces. The C element reacts to Cr and O to form chromium carbide (Cr23C6) and chromium carbonyl (CrC6O6), respectively. It rapidly migrates among its grain boundaries. It may also weaken materials and probably initiate intergranular cracks.
