Abstract

Abstract The implementation of online learning in Indonesia has caused smartphones to be widely used as learning tools which are considered effective for conducting online learning. The use of smartphones makes it easier for us to obtain learning information anywhere and anytime, especially in achieving online learning goals in elementary schools. The study aimed to examine the application of smartphone-based learning for online learning at SDN Podosoko 2, the faced obstacles, and the solutions. It was qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and document analysis.The results showed that the application of smartphone-based learning for online learning of fifth grade met good category about the learning process and student learning resources. The teacher createdWhatsApp group to convey subject materials, information, questions and answers, assignments, and learning resources. The teachers faced several obstacles in applying smartphone-based learning for online learning of fifth grade but they tried to handle those obstacles. Keywords: learning, smartphone, online learning  AbstrakPemberlakuan pembelajaran daring di Indonesia saat ini, menyebabkan perangkat komunikasi seperti smartphone dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran yang dinilai efektif untuk menyelenggarakan pembelajaran daring. Pemanfaatan smartphone memudahkan kita dalam meperoleh informasi belajar dimana saja dan kapan saja, terutama dalam pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran daring di sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis smartphone dalam pembelajaran daring di SDN Podosoko 2 serta kendala dan solusi yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis smartphone dalam pembelajaran daring di kelas V dalam kategori baik untuk kegiatan proses pembelajaran dan sumber belajar siswa. Guru memanfaatkan whatsapp group untuk menyampaikan materi pelajaran, informasi, tanya jawab, penugasan, pengumpulan tugas, dan sumber belajar. Pelaksanaan penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis smartphone dalam pembelajaran daring di kelas V memunculkan beberapa kendala. Sekolah mengupayakan berbagai solusi untuk mengatasinya.Kata Kunci: Media pembelajaran, Smartphone, Pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effectiveness LC7E (Learning Cycle 7E) model on science process skills to fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Kebumen to the theme of animal life cycle and environmental protection. It was collaborative classroom action research (CAR) carried out in one cycle. It consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 18 fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Kebumen. The data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive. It concludes that Learning Cycle 7E (LC7E) model improves science process skills and natural science learning outcomes of fourth grade students. The increasing of science process skills was 37%, students learning outcome was 33.89%, and NGain was 57.14%.

Abstract

The research aimed to describe the level of student's mathematical communication skills in solving solid figures problems reviewed from learning styles to fifth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Kutosari in academic year of 2020/2021. The research was a qualitative approach with case study method. The results showed that from 21 students in fifth grade, there were 9 students having a visual learning style, 7 students having auditory learning style, and 5 students having kinesthetic learning style. Students with visual learning styles had the best level of mathematical communication skills. Students with auditory learning style had good level. Students with kinesthetic learning styles had sufficient level. To improve student’s mathematical communication skills, the teachers provide learning activities based on student’s learning styles.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine emotional intelligence and independence in learning on mathematics learning outcomes to fifth grade students of public elementary schools in Ngombol Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021. It was correlational quantitative method. The prerequisite test used linearity, normality, and multicolinearity tests. The data analysis used regression test and correlation test with a significance level of 5%. It concludes that there is positive and significant effect of emotional intelligence and independence in learning on mathematics learning outcomes to fifth grade students of public elementary schools in Ngombol Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021. The emotional intelligence and learning independence contribute 19.3% on mathematics learning outcomes and the remaining 80.7% was influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Adversity quotient is one of the internal factors affecting student’s online learning outcomes for natural science. The study aimed to examine positive effect of adversity quotient on online learning outcomes for natural science to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Klirong Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021 and to determine the contribution of adversity quotient on online learning outcomes for natural science to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Klirong Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021. It was a quantitative research with simple linear regression method. The population were 749 fourth grade students and the samples were 261 fourth grade students throughout Klirong Sub-district. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. Data analysis used SPSS 25 version. The results showed that: (1) there was a positive and significant effect of adversity quotient on online learning outcomes for natural science to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Klirong Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021. The adversity quotient contributed 22% with a value of Sig. 0.000 < 0.05. It meant that the higher student's adversity quotient, the higher student's natural science learning outcomes and vice versa; (2) the adversity quotient contributed 22% on online learning outcomes for natural science to fourth grade students and the remaining 78% was influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The objectives of the study were: (1) to describe the application of Quick on the Draw model to improve expository writing skills; (2) to improve expository writing skills through the application of Quick on the Draw model; (3) to describe the obstacle and solution in implementing the Quick on the Draw model to improve expository writing skills. This collaborative classroom action research was conducted in three cycles. The subjects were the teacher and students of fifth grade of SDN 2 Karangpoh. The data were qualitative and quantitative data. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and tests. The data validity used triangulation of techniques and triangulation of sources. The data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawing. The results showed that: (1) the steps of the Quick on the Draw model were: (a) delivering learning objectives, (b) preparing question cards, (c) creating group formation and learning material, (d) delivering rules of game, (e) having problem solving, (f) delivering results of discussion, (g) giving rewards, and (h) reviewing exam questions; (2) the application of the Quick on the Draw model improved expository writing skills; (3) the obstacle was the students focused on answering questions quickly but did not pay attention to the accuracy of the answers. The solution was the teacher guided the students to answer questions quickly and accurately.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara intensitas belajar dengan hasil belajar PPKn siswa kelas IV SD dan menghitung besarnya sumbangan intensitas belajar dengan hasil belajar PPKn siswa kelas IV SDN se-Kecamatan Kebumen tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Populasinya 1400 siswa dan sampelnya 347 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes dan angket. Uji prasyarat meggunakan uji normalitas dan linieritas. Analisis data penelitian ini yaitu uji korelasi sederhana dan sumbangan efektif (SE). Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara intensitas belajar dengan hasil belajar PPKn siswa kelas IV SD dengan tingkat korelasi sedang yaitu 0,371 dan sumbangan variabel intensitas belajar dengan hasil belajar PPKn siswa kelas IV SD yaitu 13,7%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara intensitas belajar dengan hasil belajar PPKn siswa kelas IV SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Kebumen tahun ajaran 2020/2021.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan adanya pengaruh positif antara kesiapan belajar dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV di SDN se-Kecamatan Puring dan besarnya sumbangan efektif kesiapan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV di SDN se-Kecamatan Puring. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi. Pengambilan sampel dihitung menggunakan rumus Slavin dan Taro Yamane dan diambil secara acak dengan teknik cluster sampling. Hasil uji korelasi kesiapan belajar dan hasil belajar matematika menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig. sebesar 0,000 dan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,534. Besar sumbangan kesiapan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika yaitu 28,5%. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara kesiapan belajar dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV di SDN se-Kecamatan Puring.

Abstract

AbstractScientific attitude and emotional intelligence are needed so that students have good science learning achievements and are able to compete in the times. The study aimed to know correlation between scientific attitudes and science learning achievement, to know correlation between emotional intelligence and science learning achievement, and to know correlation between scientific attitudes and emotional intelligence on science learning achievement for fifth grade students of public elementary schools in Kebumen Sub district in academic year of 2020/2021. The research was quantitative research including ex-pose facto and correlational method. The research results showed that the scientific attitudes had correlation on science learning achievement (Sig. 0.00 <0.05) with coefficient value 0.567, emotional intelligence had correlation on science learning achievement (Sig. 0.00 <0.05) with coefficient value 0.528, and scientific attitudes and emotional intelligence had correlation on science learning achievement (Sig. 0.00 <0.05) with coefficient value 0.634. It meant that the better students’ scientific attitudes and the emotional intelligence, the better learning achievement.Keywords: scientific attitude, emotional intelligence, learning achievementAbstrakSikap ilmiah dan kecerdasan emosional dibutuhkan agar siswa memiliki prestasi belajar IPA yang baik dan mampu bersaing dalam perkembangan zaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui adanya korelasi sikap ilmiah dengan prestasi belajar IPA, korelasi kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar IPA, dan korelasi sikap ilmiah dan kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN se-Kecamatan Kebumen tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis expost facto dan metode korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sikap ilmiah memiliki korelasi dengan prestasi belajar IPA (Sig. 0,00 < 0,05) dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,567, kecerdasan emosional memiliki korelasi dengan prestasi belajar IPA (Sig. 0,00 < 0,05) dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,528, serta sikap ilmiah dan kecerdasan emosional memiliki korelasi dengan prestasi belajar IPA (Sig. 0,00 < 0,05) dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,634. Semakin tinggi sikap ilmiah dan kecerdasan emlosional siswa secara bersama-sama, maka prestasi belajar IPA yang diperoleh juga akan semakin baik.Kata kunci: sikap ilmiah, kecerdasan emosional, prestasi belajar

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the correlation between interest in learning and mathematics learning outcomes to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Prembun Sub-district and to measure the contribution of interest in learning on mathematics learning outcomes to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Prembun Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021. The research was correlational quantitative method. Sampling method was with cluster random sampling technique with the help of SPSS application. The samples were 226 fourth grade students in eleven elementary schools throughout the Prembun Sub-district. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. Data Analysis used simple correlation test and adjusted R square with a significance level of 5%. The correlation test was sig = 0.000 (sig <0.05) and the result of correlation coefficient between interest in learning and mathematics learning outcomes was 0.486. It concludes that there is positive and significant correlation between interest in learning and mathematics learning outcomes to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Prembun Sub-district in academic year of 2020/2021. Interest in learning contributes 23.69% on mathematics learning outcomes.
