Abstract

Stunting is the most serious nutritional problem in Indonesia, caused by inadequate nutritional intake. This condition is characterized by impaired growth, where children's height is shorter compared to the average height of children their age. Stunting can be prevented if interventions are carried out before the child reaches the age of two to five years. In Kumpi Village, one child was found to be at risk of Stunting. To prevent Stunting, knowledge transfer through training and community mentoring is needed, one of which is by strengthening food security. This activity uses an active participation method and involves various activities such as "nutrition Friday" at Tunas Harapan Kindergarten and PAUD, giving parcels to children at risk of Stunting, "clean Saturday" activities, the "smart kindergarten" program, utilizing home yards for cultivation, distributing catfish seeds, planting organic vegetables, and making liquid organic fertilizer. The results of this activity indicate that the community of Kumpi Village understands that Stunting can be addressed through improved food security and environmental support. This activity has significant implications for Stunting eradication strategies through community empowerment and enhanced food security.

Abstract

The community services carried out are a service program to support government programs in increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs so that they can compete in today's very tight competitive situation. MSMEs in 3T areas (disadvantaged, frontier, outermost) face much more complex problems than those in relatively more developed areas. Partners in this service activity are the MSME beauty salon HNB Salon & SPA located in Nabire Regency, Central Papua. Based on the analysis carried out by the service team, partners experience problems related to the service sales process and also management, especially in terms of customer relationship management and management of marketing activities, then to help MSME partner, the service team will support the use of technology in administering the services provided at the salon in the form of salon service applications. Additionally, increasing human resource capabilities is also very much needed, especially in using various technological equipment, both hardware and software, to support salon operations. Finally, the service team also provides training on using social media to carry out digital marketing to MSME staff. Based on the evaluation of the material for the training activities, excellent results were obtained, and the partners stated that they were very helped by the material and program that the service team had provided.

Abstract

After assessing partner needs, it was found they lack knowledge in household logistics management for perishable and non-perishable items. Our goal is to educate the public on implementing household logistics for both types of products. To achieve this, we conducted a lecture and presentation of material regarding household logistics management, coupled with knowledge sharing sessions between partners and the service team. This method was chosen due to the low initial level of understanding among the partners. The results of this service initiative revealed the enthusiasm of partners, demonstrated through active discussions and a dynamic question-and-answer session with the service team. This interaction highlighted the partners' eagerness to learn and apply the concepts presented. It is hoped that through this educational effort, the community, as partners, will gain a better understanding of household logistics management and be able to apply it effectively in real-life scenarios. This will lead to improved management of both perishable and non-perishable items, reducing waste and ensuring more efficient use and storage of household goods.

The mentoring programs are conducted in stages and tailored to the students' needs, including Virtual Hotline Services (VHS), facilitator support, precondition learning at each stage, video media development, material deepening refreshment, exam outline analysis, and try outs (TO). The results show a very high graduation rate, reaching 98.1%, which indicates the success of the mentoring program. This achievement can serve as a model for other Teacher Training Institutes (LPTKs) to improve the quality of support and mentoring for PPG participants, ultimately helping them become professional teachers.

Abstract

Tamilouw Village in Amahai District, Central Maluku Regency, is one of the main nutmeg-producing areas. However, the farmers there have not used nutmeg peels to be processed into high-value products like nutmeg syrup. In fact, nutmeg syrup can be an additional source of income for the family, apart from the nutmeg farming business itself. For this reason, a service program was held that aimed at providing counseling, technical training, production assistance, and explanations of nutmeg syrup marketing strategies. In this program, housewives involved in nutmeg farming showed high enthusiasm. They actively participate in training, which provides them with new knowledge and skills in processing nutmeg peels into syrup. This training not only increases their capacity in nutmeg syrup production, but also provides insight into how to market the product. With this program, farmers and families in Tamilouw Village can take advantage of the full potential of nutmeg plants, so that they do not only depend on nutmeg seed yields. As a result, nutmeg farming housewives now have better abilities in making and marketing nutmeg syrup, which has the potential to increase family income and the village economy as a whole.

Abstract

Halal products are all goods and/or services related to food, drinks, medicines, cosmetics, chemical products, biological products, genetically engineered products and consumer goods used, used or exploited by the public which have been declared halal in accordance with Islamic law. This activity uses lecture methods, questions and answers, and online registration tutorials. The concept of this service activity is in the form of a workshop or training related to socialization and assistance in registering for the free halal certification program (Sehati) through a self-declaration scheme. The implementation of the self-declaration process in this halal industry covers various aspects, starting from pre-service, ongoing service, to post-service. This process is designed to provide holistic support to MSMEs so that they can understand, fulfill and apply halal standards independently, supporting their business growth in the context of the halal market. From this assistance it is very important to provide education to business actors so that they can guarantee that their products are halal and thayyib. Socialization about the importance of halal products and procedures for halal certification using the self-declaration route must be further improved.
