Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze affective-based moral education strategies in instilling character values among students at MAS 01 Darussalam Kepahiang. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation for data collection. The study was conducted at MAS 01 Darussalam Kepahiang, a private Islamic senior high school in Kepahiang Regency, Bengkulu Province. The results revealed that the moral education strategy at this school emphasizes an affective approach, focusing on shaping students' attitudes, emotions, and moral awareness. Through this approach, students gain moral knowledge and internalize character values through emotional experiences. Key strategies include teacher role modeling, habituation of positive behavior, value reflection, and recognition for good behavior. In conclusion, this approach has proven effective in fostering character development and creating a deep moral awareness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Tahfizhul Qur'an Curriculum in developing students' characters at the Humayroh Private Elementary School (MIS), Parpaudangan Village, North Labuhanbatu. The Tahfizhul Qur'an Curriculum is one of the educational approaches that teaching and memorizing the Qur'an as an integral part of the process of forming students' characters. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to obtain an in-depth picture of the implementation of this curriculum. Data were collected through observation, interviews with teachers, students, and principals, and related documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Tahfizhul Qur'an curriculum at MIS Humayroh not only focuses on the memorization aspect of the Qur'an, but also on strengthening moral and spiritual values, such as discipline, responsibility, and respect for others. This curriculum has a positive impact on the development of students' characters, where they show improvements in terms of morals, social skills, and learning motivation. However, there are challenges in terms of educator resources and facilities that need to be improved to support optimal performance implementation. This study recommends improving training for teachers and providing more adequate facilities so that the goal of character development through Tahfizhul Qur'an can be achieved more effectively.

Abstract

Effective learning media must be in accordance with the nature of students and the learning objectives that have been set. A particular challenge at SDN Purwosari III is the low interest in learning students, especially in Islamic Religious Education. Due to the fact that learning usually focuses on lectures and lectures, a creative approach is needed to increase student engagement. The purpose of this study was to determine how using gamification-based learning media can increase students' interest in learning. Qualitative methods, using interviews and observations, were used to collect data. The results showed that gamification using components such as points, badges, challenges, and leaderboards can make learning more interesting, interactive, and healthy competitive. Students are more active, more motivated, and show increased participation and understanding of the material. Teachers can overcome challenges such as limited digital devices by being creative in creating game-based physical media. Therefore, gamification has proven to be an effective alternative to increase students' interest in learning, especially in Islamic Religious Education learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

In today's technological developments, reading and writing literacy skills are important things that students must have. In the literacy process, it is not only about reading and writing skills, but also involves the ability to understand and analyze science. In connection with the low number of students' interest in reading, especially understanding religious material which has an impact on the less than optimal results of Islamic Religious Education learning, the existence of a reading corner can be a solution in increasing interest in reading religious material. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of reading corners on increasing students' interest in literacy in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach with an experimental research type using the One Sample T-Test sample test, namely to determine whether the average of a sample is significantly different from a certain known value. The data collection process was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 13 respondents. By distributing questionnaires and processing data, it was found that reading corners had an effect on increasing interest in literacy in Islamic Religious Education materials in Visual Communication Design students at SMK Mambaul Ulum Pandaan. With this research, it is hoped that it can be a solution in increasing interest in literacy in Islamic Religious Education materials.

Abstract

The development of an increasingly dynamic era requires the world of education, including Islamic Religious Education, to continue to adapt to a change in learning paradigm that is more contextual, relevant, and humanitarian-oriented. Education is no longer only understood as a process of knowledge transfer, but as a space for the development of the potential of the student as a whole, both intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. Qualitative research using a library research approach, data analysis is carried out using the content analysis method, which aims to decipher, interpret, and provide a deep understanding of the content of the text that has been collected. The application of humanistic theory in the learning of Islamic Religious Education can strengthen the affective and spiritual dimensions of students, so that they not only understand religious teachings cognitively, but also internalize their values in real life. Thus, the learning of Islamic Religious Education based on a humanistic approach is expected to be able to give birth to a generation that has faith, morals, and is able to face the challenges of the times wisely. Humanistic learning theory emphasizes that the learning process must be human-centered both as a subject and an object of education by making human values the main foundation. An education system that is oriented to this approach emphasizes the importance of developing human dignity, sanity in thinking, and the ability to make choices based on beliefs and values that are believed. Education based on humanistic values is able to produce a generation of Muslims with noble character, integration can also hold responsibility in people's lives.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning score of Kemuhammadiyahan courses by utilizing Quizizz educational games. The research is a quantitative study using the Quasi Experimental Design method of the Nonequivalent group pretest-posttest design type.   The researcher will place the research subjects into two classes which are divided into experimental and control class categories. At the beginning of the learning activities, both classes will receive a pre-test. After that, the experimental class will be treated with the  Kemuhammadiyahan learning process using the Quizizz educational game-based learning method while the control class is given Kemuhammadiyahan learning with the lecture method. In the final stage, both classes will be given a post-test. In the final stage, both classes will be given a post-test. The results of the analysis show that there is an effect on improving the learning outcomes of the Quizizz educational game- based learning method on student learning outcomes in Kemuhammadiyahan learning in the experimental class. However, based on the results of research in both control and experimental classes, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between the learning method based on Quizizz educational game- based learning method and conventional methods on student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the difference in results between the pre-test values of the control class and the experimental class by 3% and the difference in the results of the influence on the post-test value of the control and experimental classes by 2.58%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing varied and structured learning strategies in improving student learning outcomes at MI Bustanul Ulum Sumbersuko. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results showed that the implementation of active learning methods, group discussions, and the use of visual media significantly increased students' active participation, learning motivation, and understanding of the material. In addition, the analysis of student needs allows for the adjustment of materials according to their abilities and background of understanding, which has a positive impact on increasing evaluation scores and critical thinking skills. This study provides recommendations for the development of sustainable learning strategies to improve the quality of education in madrasah.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe how the principal manages character education based on khalifatullah and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that the principal's management in implementing character education based on khalifatullah is carried out through three main stages, namely planning, implementation, and supervision and evaluation. The planning stage includes the preparation of programs that integrate religious values, responsibility, and role models. The implementation stage is realized through habituation activities such as morning prayers accompanied by readings from the Qur'an and sholawat Busyro, mandatory literacy of reading the Qur'an for students, and the implementation of congregational Dhuhr prayers. Supervision is carried out through class reports, teacher evaluations, and teacher council forums. Supporting factors for this management include a religious school environment, exemplary teachers and school principals, and structured programs. Meanwhile, the obstacles include low student discipline, teachers' tight schedules, lack of parental support, and the influence of the school's external environment. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the principal's management plays an important role in realizing the character of students based on the concept of being a caliph, and its success is greatly influenced by the synergy between the school, family, and the students' social environment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relevance of applying behaviorism theory in developing Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning methodology. The method used is library research through a descriptive-analytical approach. The results show that behaviorism theory can be integrated into PAI learning through systematic steps, starting from material analysis, formulating learning objectives, determining strategies, to evaluation, analyzing evaluation results, improving learning, and refining methods. However, this theory has limitations because it does not highlight the spiritual and inner aspects, which are the core of Islamic education. Therefore, the integration of behaviorism theory in PAI learning needs to be aligned with Islamic values so that the goals of Islamic education can be achieved.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Murder learning method on students' learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMK PGRI 1 Pasuruan. This research is a quantitative study with an experimental approach. The research design used is the pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study consisted of all students of SMK PGRI 1 Pasuruan, with two randomly selected classes as samples, namely the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class was taught using the Murder learning method, while the control class was taught using the conventional lecture method. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and analyzed using a t-test. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the Murder learning method on improving students' learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects. Therefore, the Murder learning method can be used as an effective alternative learning strategy to enhance students’ understanding and active participation in PAI learning.
